Okay, there's a 2010 there too. Wow, the Olympics are coming fast. So, my plans tonight: don't break my ass walking home. Pick up noise makers and party hats, get Kahlua and champagne, and edibles. I'm excited to ring in the new year. I haven't decided on my resolution(s) though.

Let me give it a shot:
1. Let go. Let my mom be as she is, try not to validate her.
2. Get my FREAKIN N!! God, how I need my liscence.
3. Travel more. (Road trips!) NOTE: This requires the N.
4. Tentative: get a new tattoo?
5. Exercise more. Yoga + something else, or more yoga, but still, something else too.
I think I might add to this later, but this was a good place to start.

Things to look forward to in 2009:
Aug- Warped Tour!
Nov- New Moon movie!
..can't think of much else so far.

I sometimes get these intense feelings that there is someone behind me in my house. Whether it's downstairs (where the last owners' mother lived and died..though I'm not sure if she died in the house,) or on my way upstairs through the dark. I've always hated the dark, because I'm generally scared of the unknown. But this is different from just a regular scaredness. I think Benji senses it too, and when he acts all weird is when I get especially nervous. I can't remember off the top of my head, experiencing anything all too paranormal that I can recall vividly, besides this, and one other thing. When I was living in the house that my parents owned together (those were the days..were those the days?) I could see the shadow man step halfway into my doorway when I was lying in my bed. David says he's seen him before too. The funny thing is, I wanted to sleep with my door ajar, because I was afraid of the dark, but the shadow man scared the shit out of me too. It was always the same. I would see his tall, fuzzy figure (think TV snow, but all black,) approaching my bedroom door. Then he would turn to face me (I assume, although he didn't have a face,) and just stand there. And I would shut my eyes as tightly as I could, until I could fall asleep, or muster enough guts to open my eyes again. I was told that someone died in that house too. Again, whether he died in the house or was just a member of the house who died, I'm not sure. But I'll never forget him.

However, today Alex and I spent the day sorting out Evan's receipts for his taxes and playing Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for wii. So I guess I did quite a bit. I can't kill Nemesis though *smolder*
OH!! I finally saw Twilight last night too.. ♥♥♥

UPDATE: After a long time trying (and much pain in the wrists,) we finally killed Nemesis. Unfortunately, we also beat the game. Time to turn up the difficulty!

SO! I've started to read Twilight.
NOTE: I love vampires/zombies, so this will be a fun adventure.
So I'm only on chapter 3, but I'm completely enthralled. (I've been reading while on the clock at work lol!) Anyway, I decided to look up Twilight images etc on dA, and noticed a something: hate art. What a waste of time and clicking and going through the submission process.

My advice to lovers and haters of ANYTHING on dA (this means everyone): If you dislike something, just don't make fan art, but don't make hate art- because it makes you look like an asshole, and that's just ugly.

so, i watched movies all weekend.
friday - final fantasy: advent children
saturday - i lied. no movies on this day
sunday - a scanner darkly & blades of glory

FF was SO GOOD. it made me want to play the game so i could understand the story better, and i still might. from what my brother says, Advent Children is a spinoff of FF7, like after all that goes on in the game. anyway, the graphics were AMAZING, especially considering when it came out - kinda in the early-middle part of the actually REALISTIC g.i. movie movement.

Blades of Glory was very funny. if you watch it on dvd, make sure you watch the alternate scenes (not deleted scenes) and the gag reel. it will make you LOL

A SCANNER DARKLY!! what's up with the title? i get that a scanner is what Bob's job was at the place he worked, but i'm not sure the metaphor made total sense. 'Do they see into you? Clearly or darkly?' hmm.. good question?? i absolutely LOVE the animation style, it reminded me of one of my favorite tv shows that disappeared, Delta State. A Scanner Darkly had a really cool story that left me with a couple questions, so i think i might read the book this summer. i've got the time so why not, right?
