  • OK. Gallery cleaning done. I scrapped a few pictures, based on purely personal reasons, in order to keep the main gallery the way I want it to look now.


  • I've been considering using Blurb's services to make a photo-book (a Polaroid still-life retrospective for year 2006). I was wondering if anyone here had previous experiences with them, and what to think of product quality? All the reviews seem to agree that the books in themselves are top-notch (for the price) but that image quality could be better...

    After finally getting my hands on a couple of Time Zero cartridges, I decided to bring along one of my SX-70s for the week-end (I've recently bought 2 of them, and haven't had much time for fun with neither).

    After taking the 8th shot, the damn thing started making a funny noise, the shutter did not release (the viewfinder remains black), and now I'm stuck with a whining SX-70 that will just "buzz" and won't work.

    I really don't know what could have happened. And I do not have a clue how to fix it, let alone find someone in Paris who can.

    If you've got any ideas, please send me a note!!!

    Went to a fashion show, made horrible pictures.

    Still, I felt the urge to make something out of them, say something about the whole inane experience.

    I'm really proud of this one.

    Isn't it strange how pictures will almost never turn out to be exactly what you expected ? (which is both good and bad...)

    Isn't it strange how the images you cherish the most, and hope people would notice and like, are so often not the ones they will appreciate the most ?
