LOUSY IMAGE QUALITY - WEAK DYNAMIC RANGE

well, you get it, not here to start a flame, but that is what I see.
Some people might say oh because its about pixel density and all, well, I say maybe, but the D3X did not show much problems
Canon, for some reason, produces pretty weak files, and very weak dynamic ranges. firstly my alienware notebook is officially off service :dance:
and its replaced by a spanking new aluminum macbook!
Only 2.0ghz though, but with a free 4GB ram upgrade at a good deal
and nope, mac is not a strange/unfamiliar OS/platform to me,
so the convert wasn't such a big deal, at least
I'm still loving my new PC with the 24" LCD display
working off both systems, though the mac is really like a mobile storage and displaying device, which means I ain't stressing it with workload.

Anyways talking about shooting styles, and development workflows how much have yours developed? Or strayed?
I'm always questioning the definite style I have, but it always comes to no conclusion, there's no definite style.

anyway sabah was MORE fun this time
manage to cruise around the little town, did not get to visit Mt. Kinabalu though, but gotten a really beautiful scenic view in a remote padi field that overlooks the mountains.
Visited major shopping malls and lovely resorts, with really beautiful beaches.
The wedding job was rather tiring, started outdoor shoots few moments after touch-down, and continued over the next 2 days.

The past 4 days was fruitful, had the opportunity to work and shoot together with a German photographer, Hartmut Gottschalk. I did push blurb and they managed to reprint the book in 3 days and took another 10 days for my book to arrive.
The swisspost track-&-trace is really crap, no data about where your goods are...miss the UPS service.
Anyways the printing were as usual, ok, but then, the imagewrap really suck, it looks like a matte piece of dust jacket that's stuck on the covers, it just did not look good. :devjmonzani: ordered his with imagewrap, not sure if he like his.

I was on the plane when i shot and edited this,
it was really boring even it was only a 2hr15 ride..
posted it when I acquired internet connection from the hotel

it wasn't really fun cause it was work-based, yea
at least we were 'randomly' given a executive suite...haha..
tired, tired, the damn sun rises so early that we were forced out from our beds
