I learned a lot and I'd like to think I've become a better artist. I still have a looooooong ways to go if I want to get at the level of some of my favorite artists. I owe a lot of this to the DA community. Thanks guys!!

I'll try to spend more time studying every aspect of illustration and keep my growth as an artist steady. That doesn't mean I'll stop uploading art, but I'll try to make more time for some good ol' fashioned practice of the basics .

So, anyway. I wanted to make a Kiriban or something for this, but I'm kinda busy with other projects and stuff. Maybe for the 3k or 5k... and I'll definitely achieve the mark before this year ends!

This summer I'm gonna keep myself busy with various contests here on DA. I consider them great opportunities to develop my abilities further, meet fellow artists and the prizes are a bonus too.

Now for some news:

- I'm gonna try my luck at the Ballistic Publishings 'Call for Entries' for Exotique 5 [link] so wish me luck.

-I'm working with and in some concepts for a few ideas we've been having since January. I won't reveal anything yet but I'll make sure to keep you posted. I'm very excited with this project and hope it comes to fruition.

-I'm also planning with to open an art shop. So yes. I'm open for comissions. I'll leave the link to the shop when we're finished. Or you can contact me through here if you are interested.

But I think it as to do with the lack of submissions, so the development is not as noticeable. I mean I have art from 2-3 years ago! I hope this vacations I can get my ass in gear and do some stuff. College is being a bitch.

The bad ones:
-The stuff i was doing got deleted! So that means my "dryad' painting may not be finished. And I had another really cool one, kinda cartoonish...went down the drain too.
-Have to re-install all the software...again.

The Good ones:
-I had backup of some of the most important stuff: software, earlier versions of other works (so not everything was lost)
-My Hard Drive was upgraded to 250 GB!

So yeah...expect new stuff on the upcoming weeks.

-I have to color a bunch of cartoons for the class.
-Finish the Dryad painting.
-Finish the comic page test for Razorblade Apple Studios (srry guys, college is a bitch)
-Finish another painting I was making inspired by Shirotsuki (failing miserably to attain effect, but like it anyways)
-Make a new realistic painting with the picture of a friend for a Contest hosted by Dianae (The theme are Gods and Godesses, the picture was just perfect!)
-And random college crap I need to do, including my transfer to the Art School.
-Plot revenge against pervy and useless college professor.

So, yeah. Big headaches coming my way. Anyways, a lot of thanks to Benny and Ivan for their support.
