So I got a book to help me with my 'inspiration' problem. Well, that's what I call it. Actually it's more like my 'being lazy and not wanting to make art' problem. It's a little of both, I'm sure.

I made a new folder in the gallery and will be putting everything I do in there. It's called 'Book Projects' or something. Please let me know if anything stands out or if it's crap.

Thanks!

So like, my friend of about 10 years just told me I "need to find some place else to live." It seems that he didn't like the fact that I couldn't pay evenly for the rent, even when we had 3.5 of us here (though, 3.5 is not evenly divisible by 3....)

Here are my thoughts:

1. He, his girlfriend and her kid = 2.5 people. I = 1 person. I cannot pay 1/3 of the rent when they are only paying 2/3 for their share. I know that .5 doesn't seem like much, but goddamn...didn't they realize how much water and power it was taking for the 2.5 of them? I do laundry like once a week. They do laundry like 3-4 times a week.

2. We live in a 3 bedroom apartment. I take up one bedroom and the bathroom. They take up both bedrooms, the living room and most of the kitchen. How am I expected to pay for 1/3 of the rent when I only take up 1/5 of the space?

3. We equally share utilities (phone, cable, internet, lights, etc.) Or at least I THOUGHT we did. It seems that I haven't been paying my fair share, even though I told him I didn't want to keep paying for HBO and such. But he kept it and he said he'd pay. Now all of a sudden I'm the one taking advantage of him. Also, we DID speak about how much I paid about two years ago and we settled on $225 every two weeks. I had to drop it to $200 about nine months ago (during the HBO conversation) and he's been pissed about it ever since.

4. I have actually not liked my friend for about two years and I've wanted to move out ever since he moved his girlfriend (and her fucking KID!) in without even asking me what I thought. This is actually kind of an important bit of information because I basically don't even have to try to maintain the friendship that I haven't really enjoyed. Is this the universe paying me back for all the times it screwed me over? I will choose to think so.

SOMEBODY let me rent a roooooooom!!!
