It may be small potatoes to some but knowing that many people have seen my cartoons makes me feel really good about my self!
It is amazing to think how small the internet has made the world! To know that people from all over this planet are looking at each others art is amazing!
I am happy for any one who likes my stuff and it feels good to know my humor seems to be liked by people from around the world makes me feel great! That being said,I have also had the HONOR of viewing some of the greatest art from countless people here at DA in all kinds of art forms! I hope my next 1000 happens even faster then the 1st 1000.

I saw the Dark Knight at the midnight show on the 17th and then again the next day. As a Batman fan of 18 years and a Joker fan also let me say, this is the greatest movie ever!!! The best version of the Joker hands down, he is flawless done as an insane crimminal master mind who can actually out smart Batman (hench way he is the archnemisis).
So if you have not seen this movie, do! Heath Ledgers Joker is worth it with out a doubt.

Well just so every one knows, my mom is out of the hospital. They have to figure out what to do about her conjunctive heart failure because her heart is clean. Which means stints or bypasses will not help. They say they are going to try "trail and error" on her starting the 22nd of this month. It looks like that shadow on her lung was not cancer but Pneumonia.

As I write this my mom is alone in a hospital room scared out of her mind in Fayetteville North Carolina. She was forced to get checked out by doctor's a few days ago by my sister's who had been worried about my mom's poor health and her leg swelling. Long story short they found out she has conjunctive heart failure. They found a small blip on the x-ray of her lungs. It is possible that it is caused by her heart failure, still it could be cancer. All my brother's and sister had to go back to work, so my mom is by her self and she can not stand being their she is freaked out and she could never take any bad new's espically by herself. So me and my brother I live with are going to go see her tomorrow and spend the day with her. I am praying she want get any bad news but reguardless they are supposed to talk to her around 11 am tomorrow so I have to leave by 8:30 am to make sure she is not by herself when they come. I just hope that she doe's not get any more bad news.

I work for a grocery store called Harris Teeter, I have worked for them for about 6 years. Four years ago my then store manager (Steve) asked me to do a cartoon that he framed and gave as a gift to another store manager when he got one of the new store's that was open. I was not paid but the fact a piece of my work had been framed and given as a gift made me feel good, inbetween then and when Steve moved on to his new store I did 8 cartoons all of which were given as gifts to other store managers for him. Now I have done two cartoons for one of Steve's assitant manager at his new store and the district manager that have been given as gifts to Steve. Since the first one all those years ago I have done a company logo and have been published in a local magazine so having my art framed and given as a gift is not enough any more, I want to get paid for the stuff I do for them. I know I should just tell them next time I want money but I find it hard to say it, I mean my work must be good if they keep coming back to me, so that would mean its good enought to get paid for right?

Alot of people I work think I am "dumb" for not telling them last time to pay me. I just couldnt find the best way to work it in the converstion.

I have been published in a local magazine, I have done a logo for an internet company and have a permanent place at [link] for my comics but I finally decided to try for the big leagues. I sent 24 of my cartoons to king’s syndicate to see if they will syndicate my comic strip LIFE…AND OTHER REJECTION. The chance are beyond slim and it cost me a lot to have copies made on card stock and then to mail them (around 45 dollars) but I will not know till I try, right? So even though I will most likely never hear from them please wish me luck.
