My plans? Wehehelll, I'm at work. Actually just 2 hours a day but still, I'm not gonna celebrate since I have to wake up tomorrow at 6am :'D. We'll have a barbeque with two or three of my friends at my house, but nothing more. Actually I'm not that sad about it, this weekend is gonna be like any other weekend since I knew all along I wouldn't get the days off.

It was funny to listen to the foreign workers ar cruise cleaning, they were just TERRIFIED that there are bonfires on Midsummer's Eve. Is it dangerous, they asked, do people get killed by them, they wondered, and what's the thing with this day anyway. I get their cultural shock, but seriously, I couldn't help but laugh at their faces. It was amusing.

So what are yor plans? (or "were" if you already spent your Midsummer while reading this)

I have two jobs now. I still clean cruisers but I also start cleaning the stairways of those..what's it called again, blocks of flats? Many thanks for ~skitsoneito for kinda getting me the job, it's her aunt that made me the offer that I was more than happy to take.

I haven't been watching any sci-fi or other series for a while. Actually I'm on season 10 on Stargate and I just don't wanna watch the final season before I've seen every single episode of the earlier seasons. Waiting for that to happen I watched Firefly, which I absolutely loved. Too bad it was only one season they made before the show got cancelled D :
Ahaha anyhoo, I've started playing again! Got myself my own copy of Final Fantasy XII, I'm playing it now. I concidered buying Disgea, Beyond good&evil or Devil May Cry 3 too but I wasn't sure whether I should when I had them on my hands on the gamestore. Well, I didn't buy them. Yet.
If you have some game recommendations I'm happy to hear them. I only have PS2, wish I owned some other consoles bohoo.

What comes to my inactivity on the drawing section I'm happy to inform that I'm still drawing multiple hours a day. Started a pencil-sketchbook again and I was kinda overwhelmed by the slight but kinda massive improval of my skills. It might not be so obvious to you guys but subjectively speaking, sketching has become so much easier and I feel like I'm more diverse than before. I haven't watched reference pics in ages and some of the anatomical things I had troubles with before, well, I just get it, you know. I've begun to get it and it feels great~~
What's my problem is that I don't wanna publish any sketches on dA. I have issues with the quality of my gallery, I so wanna make it pretty and colourful, not only for the sake of the viewers but for the sake of myself :'D. I like galleries that form an entity, you know. Coherent and pleasat to browse. That's what I'd like my gallery to look like. So b&w:ing my gallery with sketches is out of question.

Do you gues think I should make a sketchbog? I already have a comic blog in Finnish and although I sometimes post some random doodles there I don't really wanna spam it with doodles.
So if I made a sketchblog in, you say, Livejournal or something, would you possibly be interested in reading it? Or should I just post more sketches to my scraps instead? .__.
I don't really know if I should just keep it all to myself or share it.

I've been struck by a sudden positivity-wave. I'm so cheerful and energetic, happy and joyous and social and everything! I feel so carefree, I already have one job and will have some short periods of cleaning that ~skitsoneito kindly got me into. At least for next week. I was given a phone number to call for a job that I really truly would want, not sure if I'll get it but hey, this was inner circle intel so I might have a sliiiiightly higher chance to get in than I would as a totally random caller.

It's so sunny and warm and pretty, a perfect weather to sit in the shade sipping a drink and reading a good book. I feel kinda funny for being inside right now, but it's so much cooler inside, thanks to our effective cooling system that never fails at a weather like this.

Haha I feel stupid in a way writing a journal like this BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF, I FEEL SO HAPPY I WANT TO SPREAD IT AROUND! SO GET INFECTED, PEOPLE! GET INFECTED *jumps around with flower baskets*

Haha lol.
I'm going to the city to buy myself a pretty summer dress. And some icecream. Gotta have some icecream.

We had a nice little party at our house after a pain-in-the-ass-ceremony at the church near our school. It was sunny all day, a bit too hot though, it was so much cooler inside than out!

I love my relatives for bringing me so much money. They're paying two thirds of my Liminka year with their donations I thought I'd have money problems there but all is wiped out now. With my earlier savings, the donations and the money I'll earn for my job(s?) will make my year there carefree.

I haven't got much pictures yet, couldn't find my own camera so there's only few pics that my cousin took of me. Anyhoo, here ya go, one crappy picture of me coming up! Sun shining in my eyes and the only thought in my head is "please get off with that camera, ok?"



I had my official photoshoot today. Geez, I hope even one of the pics is gonna be good. I'm terrible with cameras. Terrible.

I'm graduating. I did BADLY in maths, I think I got A (the lowest acceptable grade) even though I was supposed to get C (average). The points were extremely high this year, last year it took 20 points to get a C, this year it took 22 points to get even B (second worst acceptable grade) and my points were 21 hahaha. But I got through and upper secondary is over. OVER!

I didn't get to any entrance exams, that's confirmed. I didn't care 'cause I wanted to go to Liminka anyway. Better luck next year then.

I've been both extremely nerdy and extremely social for the past week. I hung out with my friends almost every day but when I finally got home all I did was read and watched Stargate. Nothing more to add for that part. I'm just loving all the social contacts I have, but it leaves me not much time to draw. It has been almost a week since I last time drew on my comic blog. I should update it. I have loads of ideas, just lack the time to get them on paper.

We created the Stargate-drinking game last weekend. It's still a raw version but it goes something like this.
When Daniel Jackson interprets something, take a sip.
When Carter says something about "advanced alien technology", take a sip.
When O'Neill doesn't understand Carter, take a sip.
When SG-1 or someone else goes through the Stargate, take a sip.
When O'Neill tells a joke, take a sip (this is the hardest one, trust me!)
When someone's hitting on Carter, take a sip
When someone uses the ZAP-weapon (is it zap or zat?), take a sip.
When Teal'c smiles, drink the whole bottle.
New rules are welcome :'D

=yukit promised to buy me a subscription . I'm gonna pay her back though, it's just that my message box is EXPLODING and I'd love to go the deviations through and do some feature journals and stuff : D.

I got one job today. I'll be cleaning cruiser's cabins twice a day, from 7am to 8am and from 7pm to 8pm. It's not bad at all, concidering that I can still take a dayjob when I find one since they usually start at 9am. I'll have to wake up early from now on, but no worries, I've kinda missed schedules as stupid as it sounds. Waking up every day at 11am feels like such a waste, but it feels like there's not much to do in the morning so why bother .__.
I'm just glad that I have a reason to wake up early in the morning. Hope I'll get my days more structurized and find some time to draw too.

Aaerrm what else is new.

For Stargate I gotta blame ~Indipuss for borrowing me Stargate seasons 5-10. ~Peuta got me into reading the Farseer-trilogy starting with Assassin's Apprentice.
I love them both to bits and whenever I'm not out on town I dedicate my freetime to them - Fitz's my man by day, Jack O'Neill's my man by night, so to say haha xDD (Actually I like Daniel Jackson more than O'Neill, but yhyy I'm currently watching the 6th season so you propably know his status. Damn writers!)

Ahaha I'm afraid of what's gonna happen when I've watched all the Stargates and read all the Robin Hobbs. Losing two major loves at the same time is sooo gonna leave an empty hole to me :'D. The same has happened before. When I finished watching all the episodes of House MD (got 2 seasons on DVD) it took me several days to come up with something to do since I had watched the episodes so quickly. Having read all the Sinfest-strips left me confused over the question of "what the heck I'm gonna do with my internet connection now if not reading Sinfest". But what about running out of episodes of Stargate AND having read all the books of the Farseer trilogy and the following books that I can't translate in English right now lol? What am I gonna replace them with? I should find something way better but at the moment I just can't come up with anything. Ahahaha I'm weird.

I burned my back today, reading got me to lose my sense of time and hyvin lied on the background when the sunshine was strongest for several hours..well.. Ouch. Luckily I was wearing a top so it's not all that bad, only the upper part of my back is sunburnt. Ah well, next time I gotta remember the sunlotion or just read inside. No sunbathing for me for a couple of days. (*sob* but it's so pretty outside ;A; )

Okay, I'm off to watch Stargate again. I still dislike Jonas Quinn even though he's sympathetic, but I have a strong belief that Daniel Jackson will be back at his former status. I mean he's gotta! He's gonna, isn't he? ISN'T HE? ;_____;

It seems more and more possible that I'm going to spend my next year in Liminka artschool. I already got one letter from Lahti design institute saying "NO" for the entrance exams. The second letter from Metropolia should arrive shortly, and I've already kinda orientated to it so that I won't get in and I'm going to Liminka. Kinda funny though, I worked so hard for the assignments, I assumed I would've been a bit more disappointed but no, I'm actually taking it really well that I'm not concidered good enough for some school :'D

Where's all my self-critique now? Haha.
Ah well, I guess the thought of Liminka studies is more tempting than going straight back to studyin in a higher level education without, dunno, seeing the world a bit? (Since when has Northern Finland been refered as "the world"? Sheesh, Liminka is a town with two stores and one restaurant xD)

Info about the results of the second entrance exam coming at some point.

I now have an empty hole in my heart (...:'D) just because my enthusiasm was for vain. So I'm declaring now that I will draw for a subscription. I think I can take new commissions now since almost all of the free sketches are already sketched and just waiting for inking and possible colouring.

So.
For a one year sub what would be reasonable to draw? Copics/ watercolours(/mixed media) size A4 with a simple background, shipping included to its destination? Up to two characters?
3 months sub I'd say size A5 with one character and a simple colouring. Maybe shipping too. How does that sound?

I think its angina or something. Swallowing hurts like hell, talking isn't that nice either and my lymph follicles (lol had to check the dictionary for that) are bloated. Whee!

Anyhoo, I had fun last week. First I was in Liminka art school and on Thursday we went to Tampere with ~Peuta, *fushii, ~verkku and *muura. We had fun! Thanks for taking care of me and ~Peuta (who got sick as well) on Saturday and Sunday!

This week I'm gonna rest as much as I can. At the moment my energy's kinda low, still having some fever and all. I've mostly been sleeping or lying in my bed with macbook in my lap, listening to music and playing tetris, haha : D.
Tomorrow I'll go see a doctor and get some medicine. I was supposed to go there today but I just didn't have the energy to go to the other side of town to get the medical help I needed.

Luckily I have time to heal.

I was only supposed to come and pay a visit and at the same time get myself to know on the school a bit better 'cause I'm coming here next year if I don't get to the schools I applied to.

They're having a spring expo here in Liminka pretty soon. Even though I'm just a visitor, ~keijjo asked me to draw a comic on a blue hammock. I thought it was just a joke, but apparently it wasn't 'cause now I'm really doing it. The storyboard were created in no time, it's rare for me to work in such a flow but I guess the atmosphere here is more inspirational than at home. I'm just so happy that they let me have part in this : D. I'm thrilled.

I already posted 3 for you to see. I still have that brochure unpublished, but then again I feel that wouldn't belong to my gallery since my main thing is drawing, not layout design, although I enjoy that as well.

Ehm anyhoo, time to get working with that to-do-list : D. I feel sooo inspired and I feel like trying watercolours again. Inks are calling me, too, I did one of the entrance assignments with inks on a laser print paper and the paper was "ruined" so that some parts of blue turned violet. That effect was so cool! I gotta try that again : D

Nothing else to say. Lol lame. Now I can go play Katamari.

Anyhoo, ~niKarr was the 200th watcher so I'll draw her a little gift (going to the to-do-pile, lol, I promise I'll start working with those again next week)

My pre-assignments have a deadline in April 11th. I'm gonna have to post them a few days earlier so that leaves me a day or two to finish them. I knew I'd leave everything to the last minute, I just knew it :'D. There's total 6 of them, so far I've finished 2. But they were the most laborous ones I think, so it's not that bad, really. The rest of them are more than half done and only one picture is unstarted but I got it all figured out so I guess I'll manage.
I'll put (some of) them for you to see, too. You're gonna see my graphic designer's skills ad I give you 2 editorial designs (a poster and a brochure), one T-shirt design, one illustrated short story and some b&w stuff. If I dare. Let's see :'D

I had my last day of school on Friday but that doesn't men I'm completely free. I still have 3 independently taken cources to finish and that means I still have to take tests and write essays. But yeah, apart from that, free from early mornings.
The next thing to do is to find a job! I've collected a bunch of phone numbers I'm going to call tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some job. Most of them are for marketing, I was a telemarketor in summer 2006 so that should help a bit : P. Wish me luck!

For more loving lines, It's officially spring! Don't you just love spring? I went jogging in a sweatshirt only and it was SO WARM! I felt really good and wanted to stay outside and play badminton with my brother, but we didn't find the net and the grass is still a bit too damp and mouldy for that. Maybe in a month it'll be in a better condition. Until that I hope the weather stays warm and sunny. I think I gotta go jogging one more time today. It's so beautiful outside with the birds singing and the first flowers blooming *_* *dances*

The pics start with something random and end up being something totally other. Like this one I'm working on, I painted some neat-looking fabric with inks, but sice I wasn't happy with the woman's pose I covered her with black ink (except the head and the fabrick) and started re-doing the pose with acrylics. I don't wanna give up on that piece 'cause 1) i don't like ripping pages off my scrapbook and 2)what could be moire therapeutic than some random doodling without purpose?

I think Iäll start taking WIP-pics of the doodles in my book. It would be fun just for me to see how my pics evolve from a to z.

P.S, I think I'll get like 20-30 points of the maths majors. I just checked the correct answers (they were published in Hesari's website) and although I don't remember everything I calculated or the answers I got, I'm pretty confident about my points.

Tomorrow's my maths finals. Yay, I couldn't read everything since I got this huge migraine yesterday (during my finnish essay test, which sucked since I had a hard time concentrating) So I couldn't do the last minute reading. Today I had to give my calculator and MAOL away so yeah. It's hard calculating without a calculator, not knowing wheather the answer is right or wrong. But since I have the long maths the answer doesn't really matter.

I'm sooooo inpirated right now! All I wanna do is draw draw draw and I can't even imagine how lovely it will be stepping out of the school building tomorrow! Nothing else but swedish to go! I feared the maths test most, 'cause I might actually fail. But swedish. There's no way I could fail. No no.

Expect some new stuff from me this weekend, at least something on the scrap-section.
Wish me luch for tomorrow's test. Iäll need it :'D

The maths majors are on next wednesday. I still have one week to go ehehe (*khrm* I'm procrastinating again. Why couldn't I just start like a few moths ago to avoid the rush, huh?)

Umm well, as for the other majors, my English, which I already did last autumn, was E (second best) with points 265/299. First part of the Finnish test 13/18 (I thought I'd do lower). The second part, essay, is on Monday. Swedish listening 66/90 (god it was bad, 3 out of 4 parts in the test were spoken in the dialect they speak in Sweden, not the dialect we're used to hear in Finland. It took me a big amount of time to get used to that dialect.. Anyhoo, could've done better but I'm kinda happy with it.)

I'll graduate this year. Definitely.

I just love spring. I always get depressed and lazy during the "winter" (if you wanna call it that anymore, it hasn't been very snowy this year) but when the spring comes I get all energetic and cheerful. I'm doing a spring clean of a sort right now. I hate cleaning but now that I have some music playing and I'm all alone at home I kinda enjoy it. I'm having a party tonight, invited a couple of friends, we'll see how many dozens of people show up :'DD. I'm so happy, happy happy happy *does the chicken dance*

Ahem yeah. It's vacation right now and I SHOULD be reading maths to the finals but I've only read one of ten books I'm supposed to read :'D. I'm gonna be busy and stressed and barely pass, yay, but what the heck, it's only maths and no-one is gonna ask me that grade when I apply for other schools. I've done some of the pre-assignments already, I decided to apply for 2 schools only to prevent the stress from the deadlines. I have no idea why I'm applying since I already have plans for the following year but...eh..call it a practice or something? Don't know. I feel stupid about it :'DD.

My comic blog is alive again! I didn't updater itfor a month or so, and now I found a sudden urge to draw those comics again. I'm also gonna participate in Finnmanga 5 with a crappy comic of 5 or so pages. Still unfinished, but I think I'll make it in time.

Now back to my cleaning. I have a huge pile of dishes to get rid of, and my room needs some hoovering. So long, and happy spring

Aaargh, my feet and abs hurt because of the bar night we had yesterday. I don't remember ever dancing as much as I did yesterday! I had so much fun ^^

Maybe it's just the majors. Lol, the first exam is in like two weeks and I haven't really studied at all : D. I still lack courses, I should have 75 due to May, now I have about 67. Not impossible to get them all, just very very tough for a lazy bum like me.

The pre-assignments for Lahti Institute of Design and Lappi University are here. I'm applying for 4 schools even though I'll be at Liminka next year. There's still time for pre-assignments of Metropolia and TaiK, so I'll try to do those I already have. Lol, maybe I'll be able to create something months before the deadline because of those majors of mine :'D. Art production is always extremely high in times when I'm actually supposed to study.
