I've been a member of DeviantArt for many years (see user ~sinisterkiss) but you may have noticed I have not been very active within the last year. I haven't stopped working on my art, I've simply stopped sharing. Ever since DevArt became cool with the emos, hipsters, myspacers, and scenesters I've watched it all go downhill. This site which was once a wonderful art community filled with supportive and talented individuals, has now become tainted with immature, egotistical assholes. Not to mention, I've seen many of my concepts for photo shoots blatantly ripped off and have even had my photos, paintings, and written word stolen and used on other sites without my permission. I'm walking away from here with no regrets and I am glad to have met all the wonderful friends I have made here on DA. I will never forget the kindness you have all shown me. I wish you all the very best in your artistic endeavors. Feel free to add me on Facebook where I am a bit more active. You can find me there under my real name Brandy Durante. Take it easy guys.

-B out

<strike>I let my cat outside yesterday morning as per usual and he never came home for lunch. I figured maybe he caught a mouse and satisfied his hunger but when dusk fell he still hadn't shown up. I sat outside last night for 2 hours calling for him and still no signs of Salem then or this morning. I fear for the worst.

Please keep your fingers crossed that my kitty comes home. I'm so upset I could hardly sleep last night. Uggh..</strike>

Well Salem finally came home about 10 minutes ago. He was sitting in my window looking in the house for me. I have no clue where the hell he went but he must have been pretty far because he always comes when I call him. I'm soooo glad my kitty is home. Thanks for your concern guys. I'm off to go smother him in snuggles and kisses
