yyaayy it's (just about) summer!!!!


Umm...so lately i've just been uploading nature stuff..but i will be uploading some other stuff soon...again i'm so busy that it's hard for me to find the time to edit photos and upload them. especially since my school hasn't let out yet!! ggaaahh!!
I am a little upset about this summer though, all of my friends are going off and seeing new places or doing amazing things..while i'm just...here....doing the same old things..uuugh..i don't know. i know that life is made up of the little things but sometimes the little things in life become very redundant. some of my friends are going wwaayy out of the country like one is going to india (actually she's already there) while another went to iran and annoottheerr is going to paris! i'll be fine though, i just need to learn how to find happiness in the expected again...

FINALLY

Alrighty...I'm not dead...I've just been like uber busy these past 2 weeks
like...it's pretty crazy:dizzy:
Also, I have been taking photos like CRAZY so it's not like I'm not doing anything (related to art) cuz I am. I am just a bit lazy when it comes to editing them and posting them; but rest assured I shall post them

School is...well...school is school and is, as always annoying and a bitch.
Erm...been painting...not as much as last month but still doing some. Mostly though I am just fixing up a few things with some paintings. Like "Onlookers" I am really not satisfied with how that one turned out, so I'm back to the drawing bored and working on fixing it up:aww:

Umm...what else is new...? Not that much...OH, (one exciting thing...) I'm going to the Pagoda in Reading tomorrow-well actually today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They (news, websites, etc.) say that some roads are going to be closed but I don't really care...I'm going to get a pic of Dev Petal!!!!! GGAAHH!! haha
Oh and back to uploading photos and editing them, right now actually I'm in the process of editing some and will be uploading some later today...like in about 30mins or so...

Bleach...omfg...it's....I'm......*foams at mouth* Ichigo is a friggen' BEAST haha and idk...I'm mostly just speechless and find myself screaming and clutching the computer screen every week hahaha oh and then like flailing my arms about while running around the room...haha jjjjkkkkkkkk;)(yeah...not really jking though hahahaha)

Well it's been awhile!! I've been here...just...not updating with any new photos because honestly I'm am lacking any inspiration...winter is just not my season...everything is gloomy, dead, and cold but hopefully over the next week I'll be able to get out and do some shoots. I am however very inspired to start some portrait shots and such =D.
For the past week though I have been working like non stop on GIMP with two images...the first one somehow got saved over (I was ppiisseedd ahah) and the second one I'm still working on it's kinda simple but it is a realistic and I am having so much trouble with the hair :shakefist:

The foods that are the most highly packed with chemicals, antibiodics, steriods, sewage compost, hormone disruptors, and just a whole bunch of other bad stuff are:

-most meats
-RICES
-snack foods
-peanut butter
-RAISINS
-potatoes
-green beans
-cucumbers
-apples
-strawberries

If you are going to purchace organic foods be sure to CLEAN THEM!
One Eco friendly way to clean them is to make a Veggie Spray:

1 cup water
1 cup distilled white vineger
1 Tbsp. baking soda
20 drops of grapefruit seed extract

-Combine all of these ingredients into a container
-Put them into a spray bottle
-Spray the mixture on the produce and thoroughly after 5 to 10 mins!

So far I've tried out several programs:

(NOTE: THESE ARE IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER and I did in no way mean to offend anyone, these are just my personal opinions, feel free to suggest other programs, also all of these that I tried out were free)

1. Photoscape,

Fairly Easy, has a lot of options and is very organized. Has effects that you can do to the photo that are more realistic than on some other programs. Also has a plethora of other mini programs on it besides just regular photo editing. Has all of the regular photo editing things like contrast etc. Although it doesn't have things like gamma. But it does have unexpected things on it like haha the Mole remover :rofl: yeah that was an odd find :XD:

2. Gimp,

Gimp is very easy and is somewhat like Photoshop, although not quite. You can do sooo many things on it but drawing something professionally on it is very hard. I'm not sure how good Photoshop is (obviously extremely good) for doing digital art but Gimp is not the best although it is still very good. For photo editing it doesn't have your typical Contrast Brightness etc. but instead it has some other fun features.

3. Pixia,

This photo editing program is loads of fun. I was just sitting playing with this one feature that made the text that you wrote look 3D. But beyond that it gets a little confusing, again, it doesn't (from what I saw) doesn't have the typical photo editing features. I'm sure you can do many things on it and many of its features resemble those that are on Gimp, just with a different twist on them.

4. PhotoFiltre

I personally love this program. It's simple but has so many things that you can do on it. I recommend getting one of the older versions of it because on the new version it doesn't (from what I saw) have an Auto Contrast and other Auto things. This might be a nice thing or maybe not. There is also a smudge tool on this program that can do WONDERS!! It can get rid of zits, annoying little things in a photo that are not supposed to be there like a wire. This is not however a program that is good for drawing, I mean...you caaan but it's very hard and not smooth. Also, some of its features that it has like the Watercolor effect....it's not realistic...like at all....One thing that is very unique to this program is the zoom on it. All you have to do I move (if you have it) the little scroll thingy in the middle of your mouse and it gets closer and smaller. Something that I do want to say just in case someone wants to know is that it can be a bulk edit program. By this I mean...at first glance it appears that you can only bring up one photo at a time put instead it lets you bring up many other photos as well...I'm not exactly sure how many...but I know it's a lot haha

5. PhotoPlus,

Firstly when I downloaded this program I couldn't use it right away I had to wait to get an e-mail with my registration number in it. Now this would be OK and I would have over looked this little annoyance...but the fricken e-mail took TWO HOURS to get to me...the bottom of the registration page says it's only supposed to take ten mins. Then after I FINALLY got the number I opened it up and was extremely disappointed with it. There was only really one feature that I really liked on it and that was this little light candle thing that would allow you to add light to one certain area. Besides that though...I was not impressed...at all... There was one other thing that I liked on it though and that was this little movie thing...it might be very good for animated short little segments but I didn't mess with it that much...

6. FastStone

From the start it looks professional. However, if you are looking for a program to do your digital art don't download this...it is strictly for photo editing...which isn't a bad thing at all but is instead a note. I really love this program as well. It is sleek simple...although has sooo many things you can do on it and is well organized. It may take a little while to figure out what is what but it is really worth it :aww: It also has this amazing little feature that allows the photo to be enlarged to the size of the computers screen and then you can edit in that same view!

7. Pisca 2

I was pretty darn spaztic the other day because i was on forums and started reading some stuff...and yeah...me=spazz :boogie: :crazy:. i STRONGLY suggest you not watching it...i mean come on we all waited for like 9 months...you can wait a little longer...

OH! and i almost forgot...(actually i did haha this is an edit :XD: ) i added some new pics that i took while i was walking my dog...shesh talk about a challange, she has the attention span of a gnat and sniffs everything lol but i'll hopefully be putting up some more things later tonight :)

I think we all pretty much know what is going to happen now...Iroh's going to join the Gaang and might do it with Zuko. Iroh is going to join to teach Aang how to firebend although I’m not entirely sure where Zuko fits in there...hm... Although now (and I’m still in shock over this) we know that Zuko is Roku's great-grandson which is just...I don't even know.....weird/cool/amazing/WAS BITTE!?!?!? I can't wait to see where they go with that

So I went out for Halloween as The Painted Lady which was soo much fun especially when two people got it right I pretty much attacked them!! So yeah my actual costume wasn't all that great, but my makeup was amazing it took me about 2 hours to do but was completely worth it. I got really mad at myself though because I had forgotten about her little moon on her head so if had to use yellow glitter glue instead of real yellow paint.
