THERE WAS ONCE APON A TIME A GIRL WHO WAS LAZY AND HATED WORK, AND NOTHING HER MOTHER COULD SAY WOULD INDUCE HER TO SPIN. no wait, thats a grimms fairy tale...

So theres this one mental institution, and there is a girl (15-16), Kiki who is an orphan, and shes in for having multiple personalities. she likes to dress up in various clothes (C-O-S-P-L-A-Y) and she has her mental friends there, but shes so cunning that she managed to sneak out, and promised her friends that she would do anything to get them out of that place.
So she goes to this school that is mixed grades/classes, because orphans go there cause the school wants them to feel like theyre wanted. (lol did not mean that, i'm not really that cruel). So Kiki sneaks in, and spends a few days at the school normally (for her), until she finds a selection of random people, sends them a letter, tells them theyre in a gang, and the leader wants to see them. well, since they all have nothing better to do, they all group to the room, and chatter amongst themself, wondering who is the leader, when in walks Kiki, wearing her '60s japan gang garb.
Skipping all "unimportant stuff", Kiki says they're first assignment is to go to the convenience store and rob the slushie machine DD so, in walk a bunch of young people, armed with screwdrivers and the likes. so they walk in and dismantle the slushie machine. and like, when they walk out, the store worker is like "what nice children"


so basically the story is a comedy about a insane cosplayer who forms a "gang" of random people who do gang-y things, until they're strong enough to break out her friends.

Summer sucked, i went to Kumoricon , lost my wallet, cosplayed some, got into Touhou/My melody/Higurashi/&(Soon to be) Code Geass, started high school, majorly improved my drawing, lost my sketchbook with a bunch of drawings i LOVED, trick-or teated, and more! thats my life!

but just recently, i've realized how much of a noob i was when i first came here. i also realized that no one knows about my OC's except ~Kit2Kit and ~Yotsubasan. So i'm gonna go do a stoy page. and submit art for them. and just plain old SUBMIT ART.

today, i got up at 4 am to take my brother to the airport (hes going to spend time with our uncle while mom and i are here) and the mom and i started driving. and driving. and driving. we had lunch at this realy authentic japanese place, and i wore my shia kitty PJ cosplay^^ then we took this ferry to canada! i got to have yummy drinks form a machine, and when we got off, culture shock happened (jk xDD) the stoplights have yellow around them! and then there was the whole metric conversion thing. but it was fun to overreact! Mom and i are staying it this cute little inn, with a few cottages. im typing this from the main one. i drew some AWESOME stuff on my way here, so ill scan it when we find an internet cafe with a scanner. tomorow, we're going shopping/to gardens. well, a cranefly is attacking me, so bye!

well, KumoriCon is in a month, and im steadily progressing with cosplay. ill out up some pics later. im currently working on Minami from Manabi Straight!, Konata's summer uniform, and (not started at all yet) Shia's Kitty Pajamas. i hope i can finish all of tem by Kumoricon... and i need the manabi by this thursday becasue there's the 4 hoour long anime fest at the library, and im conig in an hour earlier to volunteer. WHAT AM I DOING ON DA AT A TIME LIKE THIS? oh well.

this weeks gonna be busy. im going to see A Chorus Line tomorrow, i have a voice job Wednesday, then thursday is anime fest, friday im volunteering at the the breaking dawn party, and then saturday is ~Kit2Kit's Birthday

wow. my first journal in over a month...

well, i just got back from my orchestra concert. it was a cafe concert with tables and food not free though) and YUMMY CAKE. well, being in the advanced orchestra, we played last, and guess what!? I GOT TO CONDUCT A PIECE! i just did the simple 4/4 rhythm. but it was soooo fun! then we played william tell, under the sea, and a pirates of the Caribbean medley with some percussionists.

;ately ive been OBSESSED with the melancholy of HARUKI Suzumiya, otherwise known as the genderbending of haruhi suzumiya. its basically the same haruhi, but all the characters are shown as their opposite gender. just search gender bent haruhi n youtube, and you'll know what i mean.

i like ice cream.

yesterday i went to yoga. my mom and i are gonna start going 2-3 times a week. ity was a nice little studio wth insence and pretty decorations. the instructor was nice, and very hippy-like. i like those kindsa people. so, in yoga, i had to keep my arms up for a long time without resting, and it hurt really really badly. BUT-- for a momment in the middle, i felt like i was weightless. so ya.

im gonna enter some contests on dA. 's and 's. why? because i want omthing to draw.

today at noon im gonna meet my mom at OMSI, and then go to the doctor to get fitted for my BACK BRACE *shiver* i cant wait (sarcasm here)

ZOMG IM TALKING RIGHT HERE

im really bored right now, iits spring break now, and ive been doing nothing but but lazing around, eating jelly beans and watching anime. i finished lucky star (WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TTT____________TT) and started Bokura ga Ita (the art and plot is really wierd, but i llike the main character's voice and the romance. but hey, im only on epidsode 4 xDD) and Kare Kano (ive read the whole manga, and liked it so much ive started the anime. its a keeper x3). so yah. so- ya.

IM LEAVING FOR SAKURACON FRIDAY MORNING!!!! my friends ~ash-and-misty219 and Kelsi are coming with me. we're leaving at 6, then we're on the road to hopefully get there for the opening ceremonies. im cosplaying as Konata from Lucky Star, Elie's gonna be Ana from Shaman King and Kagome from Inuyasha. Kelsi said somthing about having an octopus thing or somthing (? xD). so were gonna party!!! yah!

well, i haven't updated y journal in a while, but have tried, so im gonna journal about my flavor-tastic day today

first my mommy took me to the new years festival at the Japanese gardens over by downtown Portland. and, gosh it was the perfect day to do that. it was cold up on the mountain, but the sun was out, and it was soooooo purty-ful >w< so we went to the little building where they had tea, very few snacks, and calligraphy. we spent some time in there and then decided to tour the gardens. it was sooooooo beautiful. next time we go there, it'll be spring, and ill bring my good camera and take some better pictures than the ones i took on my phone.

after that, my mom and i decided we needed a Japanese lunch, so we went to koji osakaya, and i had a HUMONGOUS serving of vegetable curry and ate every bite 8D

the, a few blocks away from there was an art supply store, so i got a new sketchbook (sorry ~Kit2Kit its the same as yours) and manga art boards, cause mommy and are gonna do am manga together. ill tell you about it when im done with the first page, k?

well, then mom insisted on running errands after that, but it was a truckload of fun! if you live in the portland area, YOU MUST GO TO THE GARDENS. its so purdy

i left home early because i am sick... i probably caught it from my brother, hes home sick too. and he probably caught it from my cousin, who had it a week ago. stupid winter illness chains...

well, i am ashamed to say that i spent my whole day playing kingdom hearts II i fell bad about it, so i'm going to do some homework very soon. BUT i got really far in KH2. i started at olympus collesium , and now im on the Pirates of the Carribian level. so far my favorite level was when they went back in time to steamboat wilie land ^^ it was soooo fun playing in black and white^^-

i went to uwajimaya's on Sunday with ~Yotsubasan. i bought a nyanko stcker book, some stickers, a new inking pen (i lost my old one) some pocky, ramune, curry roux, and soumen. i made curry that night, and we ate it for dinner together^^ im going to make it again tonight^^-

yesterday mom got back from her week long trip to Mexico. in some ways, im glad shes, back, but in others, not. mostly glad though^.^

do the care about the kids? most people say yes, disney cares. i mean, Hannah Monatana is the perfect role model for young girls, right? her lyrics have good messages. right? WRONG. disney only cares so that parents will feel safe having their kids exposed to disney. "Playhouse Disney" hooks kids on a product dependancy from the youngest age, making sure theyll be life-long consumers.

right now, "Hannah Montana" is the "trend". why? because magazimes tell everyone that. and disney poays the magazines to print this. Disney is brainwashing children all of their lives for what? MONEY. excess money that could go starving children or cancer reseach OR THE ARTS. but no-- people decide to spend their money on useless "trends" that go to corrupt, money-obsessed companies.

i mean, think of it from the companies point of view! you need to make as much money as you can this year becase billions of dollars is not enough, so how do you get people to spend? THE ANSWER IS CHILDERN. think about how much influence a child has over their parents! you get a child to want somthing, you get their parents money! simple as that!

well, 2 of the "happy" people who were walking out of the doors were were people i considered to be close friends. dont get me wrong- they still are. i love them alot but hiding this from me until i pretty much forced an answer out of them hurt me. why didnt they tell me? probably becase they expected THIS from me. well, if they had told me earlier, i would have treated them like my other friend, who told me a month earlier. i felt good she told me this, even thought i hate this stuff, and i respected her desision and treated her that way, although trying to enlighten her. but hiding it make me feel so bad. i fell that they dont trust me and it really hurts me. i feel like im going to cry. friendship is based on trust, right?

when we were done, we all talked about the reactions off the people we were standing by. one of the girls said a woman was staring at her like she was doing somthing wrong XD . someone elese was standing next to their best friends dad, and i was behing two old people, who looked at me, thought "o ok" and then turned around. when we were dome we snuk back inside then left. its so nice being in the childrens chorus! there are about 8 or 9 of us, and were all girls, so were like one big singing family!

i went to :devpixiepeppistar:'s house last night to spend the night. it was fun!!!we made an AMV together [link] she had the idea and i did most of the work XDD

i cosplayed as Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. but i was differenciated because i did nothing to my way long golden-brown hair.
but it was sooo awesome! the first day, i went with my friend Kelsi from the library. she cosplayed as someone wirth pink hair, goggles, a red vest, a guitar, and these long white boots that dislocated her toe after i left at 10 pm D:
the second day, i went with my neighbor and friend haley. we proceeded to go to a fangirl panel, and learned about glomping and sqeeing, and we watched prince of tennis, and we spent an hour or two in the fanart roomm WHERE YOU CAN USE COPIC MARKERS! they' were so amazing!!!!!! there really expensive, though. $6 a marker, or a set of about 30 for $100. so im saving up my money for a set when i go next year <3
i also got 3 haruhi random figurines, where i got a big maid tsuruya, a chibi maid tsuruya, and a mikuru that im going to sell because its really perverted. i also got a random bleach figurine where i got a prisoner rukia and Hanatarou with Kon on his shoulder. I ALSO GOT A HITSUIGAYA PLUSHIE!!!!!!! now my love and i will never part <3<3<3<3<3

i didnt get to go the 3rd day *boo hoo* because i couldnt find anyone to go with.... but it was an amazing first convention, and i loved it!



I also Got a pink nitendo DS lite yesterday. (youre probably wondering how i got all this money. it was the babysitting i ranted about for so long XD it was fin though) i got cooking mama, and ive unlocked almost every recipie so far X3 i have some Shoujo stickers i got from the con on it ( Imadoki and Hot Gimmick on the front, Hana Kimi on the back) they really blend in.

This anime is really wierd and disturbing the first episode, but it gets addicting by the second or third. Its about a normal 10 year old boy (Hare) who lives in the jungle village with his mom (Weda). Then one day, his mom brings home an orphaned girl names Guu. When he first meets her, she is an adorable girl with big, beautiful eyes, a high pretty voice and a smile. the next day, she is a bored-looking, barely talking, scary girl with 3 people living in her stomach

right now youre probably thinking "what the heck?" and i dont blame you. it is very "what the heck?"y. but it is a hilarious anime you dont want to miss.

i took a shower, put on a jean skirt and tank top, put on a little bit of makeup, and did my hair in an awesome style that im going to put in my net deviantion. its a ponytail in a scrunchie, and right above my ears, there are two tiny thin fragile braids that leave about 4 inches at the bottom, which is in a little hook thingie. its hard to describe, so ill draw it XD

on the 11th my family is hosting a forien echange student from china, so were going to remodel my room and our guest room so verything works out. im so exited!

my birthday was the 28th of june, so im officially 13 now *bats eyes*. the biggest present i got was-- guess what-- the flu. i was sick on my birthday!!! boo hoo!!! and-- even worse-- my 2 best friends from california were visiting at the time, so i couldnt spend as much time with them as i would have liked to.

I raced home, and helped look. it turned out, she was just under my othr birds cage, on a little cross in the wires, chirping.

after tat, i didnt want to go back to the library, so i read my cheackouts, then drew Daisy, my newest deviation. after that, i had chinese food at my aunts house, came back, and colored Daisy. Then i got on the comuter, and started typing this. now i gotta go.
