i'm back! after a year of neglecting my DA i've decided to pick it up again
not much art worth showing tho so bear with me for a while. XD sorry for all the art i've missed from people i'm watching but i hope you'll forgive me that i'm not browsing through a year's worth of updates...

I'd have to work every night for the next 4 weeks and then maybe... MAYBE i'd make that deadline.
so that's one reason, the next is that my right elbow's still creaking from Lost souls 2 XD and i don't want my wrist to make that same sound.. (it's true!)

lastly, if I were to work day and night hasting to make that deadline, i worry about the quality of my work.(having to draw in the train and all) And I think that both my reading audience and this story deserves better quality than I can offer would i release it at abunai.

so... you'll just have to wait!

I'm sorry for not updating here for a while, and i'm not sure if that's gonna improve anytime soon. As usual I'm busy -_-
Busy with Lost Souls 3 and i'm also entering my third year of my gamedesign and development study.
Meaning that the next 6 months, i have to go work at a company to gain field experience. So the company that hired me is called GameHouse and specializes in short online games. I'll beworking as a leveldesigner on Delicious 3! (so many 3's in this journal!)
Anyway, I'm starting tomorrow and i'm a bit nervous and excited about it at the same time.

Other recent developments are: I've started playing World of Warcraft and Wii fit! Both are addictive and the latter is really good for me! (i've lost 4 pounds in a week! o.O)

so, hope you haven't lost all faith in me yet and I hope to see you soon!

I've finally completed Lost Souls 2 and it will be sold at the abunai 2007. If you can't come to that convention and would still like to purchase LS2 (or part 1) send me a note! we'll work something out!

Lost Souls is a story about a demon king, struggling with himself and his destiny.

so how am I? Tired... and school hasn't gotten easier this year but i'm satisfied as well. I'm making two flash games for school. My boyfriend and I are busy buying a house (XD) and i've already started on the script of lost souls 3.

afterwards we were invited to dine with the other dutch comicbook artists so we sat at the table with famous (dutch) people like Jan kruis (jan, jans en de kinderen), Paul Geerts (suske &wiske/Bob &bobbette), Patty Klein (noortje) and there where many more!

I grew up with their comics so i was a bit overwhelmed (and shy) ^^ but it was an amazing day...

- I finished my first year of gamedesign at the HKU (not one bad grade YAY on to year 2!)

- and last but not least, I've got a new computer!

I still have to install photoshop, my tablet and scanner so there won't be any updates anythime soon -_- plus lost souls is due at the printers in 6 weeks >.< so any updates will probably be previews of that.

How are you all going? i'm a getting a bit tired from making homework till late at night (if not all night long )
I've finished my artwork for the mummy boy project and i hope you liked it! The end result will be a cardboard booklet and if i get my hands on a camera i'll post some pictures.
I probably won't be drawing more of Tim burtons verses unless people want me to. Not that i didn't enjoy it! ^^ but i've got to get working on Lost souls Volume 2!

School is hard work! (specially if your hobby is making manga!)

but when i looked... NOTHING! (kinda like 's turnip comic)
it was awfull...
but then, last night, I heard it again! and when I looked....
THERE IT WAS! running across my room! A MOUSE!!!
I'm not afraid of mice so I went to look where it's lair was.
It had scuffled under a crate with kitchen suplies in it, so i lifted the small crate up to see where the little critter had gone... nothing...
I thought to myself: "it's probably long gone" and i put the crate down.... RIGHT ON TOP OF THE LITTLE THING!!!

...

It squirmed it's way out and died at my feet
I cried... I felt so guilty and sorry for it.

As I said... I am not afraid of mice... LIVING ONES that is! dead things creep me out!
so the critter was just laying there... until my roommate cleaned it up for me... (bless her)

A little while later I sat sobbing at my bed... WHEN ANOTHER MOUSE RAN BY!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

i couldn't sleep at all last night and right now i'm afraid to go home because i fear their revenge....
