Called Apple Support and was just stressing out while I was on hold, cause you know, the longer it's wet the worse it's going to get.. she just told me to keep it turned off and away from electrical things for 24 hours.. then I of course alerted my mother and she went to go check on if it was insured for this kind of damage. Though I am kind of relieved cause she just called back a minute ago and it is insured by home owner's insurance to the amount $2400 or around that. I have to call about the software, though.. I don't want to buy Photoshop and Macromedia things again.

Best part of all, my birthday is tomorrow and the day before I just happen to wreck a valuable possession, not to mention its hard drive might be dead, so any fanfics I might have written, or any music I'd downloaded, or any pictures I'd ever saved, might be gone for good.. it's like my zip disk long ago being put into the washer and dryer again. I'm so naive.. I just noticed just now.. that I have currently submitted.. only 1 wallpaper.
It's been a thing of the past now. I've wandered over the subject every now and then if what I've done is right. Well here's my small and meek opinion.
Take em all down if you want. I won't fight this battle. It's pointless and if you want to continue dictatorship, who am I to stop you.
The least I could get though is maybe a notice to take them down myself? So I won't wonder where they've gone?
Simple isn't it. How control is here. Guess I'm just another victim in this cycle.
Last line here - I'm not fighting. Go ahead and do whatever until you feel warm and fuzzy inside. I'm done arguing a lost battle. Oh yeah, and I'm just not going to submit wallpapers here anymore. Why go to so much work to only have it taken down, you know?

Um.. yeah. I woke up to hear my mom screaming my name. I didn't really know what to think so I just rushed over to where I heard her voice and she was leaning on the counter in her bathroom.
"Sara I've dislocated my hip. Call Dad and 911."
After that was done with, my voice was starting to shake a little. Vaguely I thought that that was the first time I've ever had to call 911. Then she had me find the phonebook and look up the doctors that had done her hip surgery on Nov. 17. We got voice mail from both and that they would call back in 15 minutes.
A little while after that ordeal I went downstairs to look out the door to see if the ambulance had come yet. I heard one but didn't hear it coming, so I went upstairs to check up on her and then after a while of waiting both the ambulance and my Dad came at about the same time.
I can't describe just how my mom was screaming in pain while trying to be fastened into that stretcher. It was just unbearable to watch. I mean, you don't want to hear your parents go through so much pain. So me and my dad went back downstairs so they would have a clear way down and I sat in the dining room, holding my dog, trying not to cry and whispering "Lord watch over her."
When she was taken outside one of my neighbors came by and stayed home with me for a few minutes so I could try and calm down. I called some of my friends to tell them what had happened and then he left after that.
Just so you know, all this happened in just one hour.
In about 20 minutes my two best buddehs came over to help me cope and we played Scrabble while watching Pirates of the Caribbean. And I was really grateful cuz brought cookies and ironically while my mom was in pain I kept thinking to myself "God do I need a cookie right about now."
(Random note - is playing with my nutcracker right now. )
So, yeah. I feel exhausted even though I woke up at 11 am. Please, anyone who reads this, pray for my mom and that she doesn't have to go through this much pain ever again. It's just too much to bear.
On a side note, I had free KFC for dinner, compliments to my grandma for stopping by on the way to church. Thankies Grandma.
