My summer's..well, boring. Everyone seems to be out doing something...plus me being stuck in work on the weekends screw up a lot of things I wish to do. I nearly watched every movie in the theatres since June by myself. Most of my friends live in a neighborhood accross town...Angel is the only person I know that lives nearby, but she seems to be in the middle of something all the time, so I can't hang out with her either.

You know there's something wrong when you're looking forward for school to start.

On the art stuff...I am doing more. I just halted one project so I could mess around with the tablet (does anyone have tips for this thing?) and start on a website that I've put aside far too long.

Every time I start a peice (or even worse, spend seven hours trying to put something together and give up) I don't get the idea realized. My hard drive has a few stuff I could put up, get comments and junk, but I don't want to because of the fact that I don't feel like I'm growing. I have these ideas...but to put them down into seeable form is becoming harder to do. I'm just a mess right now... all I can do for now is put up some designs for a coupl'a things and... *falls asleep*

Ah, it might just be me, but its odd to have so few hits. (uh, most of them is from me... because i'm weird that way). But it seems that your art has to be cute or fanart to get attention. But I have to keep my deviations of my own design, I wouldn't feel right if I started submitting fanart.

I guess it just means that I haven't found my unique style yet, and work on backgrounds.

My name is Adam (last name withheld). I have drawn pictures ever since second grade. I have been an artist since 2001. I always favored originality over copying other art since I was a kid. My art “style” is (if you cold compare it to anything) is like a combination of Guilty Gear, Breath of Fire, and Shining Force.

I tend to spend around a few hours a day drawing something. This doesn’t mean I come up with gallery-worthy artwork every time I draw. But, usually I go through times where I come up with something nice every day—then the next month I can’t think of anything.


My favorite thing to do in my spare time (duh, besides drawing) is to waste life playing Phantasy Star Online. (I am a HUcast that goes under the same name as my penname). I also like playing basketball, and hanging around with my friends. I am under a sort of “involuntary” hermit-ism because of my parents, and don’t get out much. I am a rather… shy person around the opposite sex (no, not that get-up-and-run shy, but I am nervous-to-talk shy). I’ve been told that I have a strange sense of humor.

I am a mix of Black and Asian. Most of the Asian “half” of me is Chinese and Filipino. (From the Philippines, a chain of islands east of China and South of Japan… I think)I don’t really resemble my pen character all that much (he has straighter hair and different facial proportions) but nobody looks like those anime people anyway.
