This concept is the "Golden Proportion".

To think that a concept created thousands of years ago, could be still used nowadays to create aesthetically-pleasing designs, even with the simplest of elements. This concept, is so simple if once understood, could help so much. So now its been a year since that subject, i actually thank my professor back then (who i thought at that time was teaching useless shit), actually drove me (and challenged me as well, though not directly) to be a graphic designer. I also admit that one of our final projects back then (creating a "Cook Book of Design Recipes" with about 650+ different designs for different elements haha!).
