Art still seems to be slow from me, doesn't it? I feel like I'm working as much as I always have, but maybe I raised my bar of completion too much, or something. And I am working on more than one thing at a time now, I normally don't start something new until the painting I'm currently working on is 80% finished.

Oh well, Que Sera Sera.

I think I'll post a sketch or two of the things I'm working on, then pop them in my scraps when I'm done with the painting. That way something will pop up from time to time.

No news really going on here. Been drawing traditionally a lot lately, so might be awhile before I post something because I'm not confident with my pencil skill anymore. Funny, that used to be all I would post. Now I'm paranoid about posting something without color or fully painted. Weird.



Oh! Has anyone else watched Repo! The Genetic Live Opera? Oh man, I was given it to watch, and I wasn't into watching it. So it set here on my desk for days, then I finally popped it in.

Oh my god. I love that thing so much. You have to have the taste for this kind of movie, but wow. Definitely one of my favorite movies now.

So I guess I should put in my tidbits about what I thought of The Dark Knight huh? Well I loved Heath as the Joker, who the hell doesn’t? But my thoughts on the movie are that it was put together a little shoddy in the end parts. Everyone was a secondary character and Batman may have even been a third. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t ‘ Batman: The Dark Knight’ ? Other then that, I loved it.

I have a reason though~ I’m working on a triple commission for a DA’er and I shall post them when I’m finished. So It’ll make up for a missed week.

I’ve been training in D&D for the online community I was linked to and I love it so far. I’m running into a problem now relating to the program MapTools. I cannot seem to connect to the server and I’m thinking it has something to do with the IP and ports. In Opencanvas I have to use a program called Hamachi to connect with now. (Hit me up if your bored and wanna OC) So if anyone knows anything about Maptools and my connection issues could you post here or note me? I’ve been told by my trainer that I need to have port 51234 open, I think it was. So there’s something. Hah.

***EDIT**** Maptools is up and going.

Saturday, the 17th, Im turning 20 and family is all coming over for crawfish boil and stuff. Gunna be fun! Getting computer upgraded too but not before I finish commissions and stuff is on discs in case I fawk it up. Maybe then painter will love me more and not crash when I open up more than two files.

Neverwinter Nights and Fantasy/Medieval Role Play

So I think I may have done this before and it generated nothing really. But I’m going to try again, cause I’m a fantasy nerd and I’m craving some RP-like substance in the genre.
I live in the middle of nowhere, so I really have no connections to table-top D&D areas close to me, but I’d probably spaz on them anywho. Plus my D&D books are in storage. I think. So I’ve been looking for RP and such, not necessarily Dungeons and Dragons, but fantasy/medieval in general. Whether it be forums or chat room form, but I do enjoy it with more than one other person.

As for the Neverwinter Nights bit. I’m currently installing the second one with the expansion on my computer. It’s going to be my fix for the craving I have. I know it has multi player, as does the first (Which I would gladly install as well) so if anyone would want to play some Neverwinter with me. That’d be cool too. No god modders though.

Wow quite a few things done in January, hopefully I'll have a productive and advancing year with my art. Finally piling down through my Christmas games and haven't had the chance to work on but one of my TINY little Dark Swords, George R. R. Martin miniatures. god those are beautiful things. I'm painting the random Night Watch characters before I actually touch down paint on Jon, Melisandre and the rest.
Among my Christmas games, I've been most addicted to, The Witcher. I love games like that and I'm going through hard mode right now. I don't often do that with games, but I just want to choose different choices for Geralt this time. And there WILL be some Geralt fanart sometime soon.
Mkay I don't know what to say now so going to update that mood information and stuff.
