Exorcists- they are supposed to exist to protect the living from the supernatural. But out there, there are exorcists who don't fit with that idea- they'll just protect whoever the innocent one is. Ella Clark is one such exorcist, who is currently living in the city of Verdan. With her companions, the ghost Tokiko and the human with a ghost's spirit, Akiyuki, she makes her living performing exorcisms. However, if you seek her services, beware, for she might decide that you are the guilty one.

Ella Clark is a eighteen year old girl, who works as an exorcist. Her powers awoke after she awakened from a five year coma she fell into after becoming involved in a traffic accident. Although she is very powerful, she is considered an outcast in the exorcist society because she is notorious for not always listening to her clients. Often she ends up making her own judgments of people's innocence and has been known to let vengeful spirits rampage if she feels that it is justified. When exorcising, she mostly uses magical circles and talismans, and traps her prey in magic gourds from which they cannot escape.

Despite Ella's notorious reputation, she still does get work from time to time and makes a living off of the funds from that, and her part time job working at a maid cafe. She lives with her roommates, Tokiko and Akiyuki in a old Japanese-style house at the edge of the city which is rumored to be rather haunted. Ella is very comfortable around ghosts and spirits, however, as she spent the five years she was comatose in the realm of the spirits.

Ella seems to be a pleasant girl, but every so often she gets a mischievous smirk on her face and seems to be up to no good. She is very good at detecting spirits wherever they are and whatever form they might take. She seems to work closely with Setsuna Hiyama from the police department, who often tips her off to odd sounding cases.

Tokiko Akamatsu is a twenty-six year old ghost woman who is Ella's partner in crime, so to speak. Ella was supposed to exorcise her from the home that she once haunted, but instead freed her so that she could travel with her, finding that she liked the ghost woman. Tokiko is learning to take on a solid form at the moment, but she can't hold it for very long even under normal circumstances, so it falls that most people really can't see her.

Tokiko is a kind woman whose life was cut short by illness. For a long time she wasn't even aware that she was dead, and kept on wandering her house, doing her daily routines. When her old family moved out, and a new one moved in, they became distressed at the strange things happening around their house. She is very grateful to Ella, and wants to help her in any way she can, although she's not a very strong spirit at all. She tends to always put others before herself.

Akiyuki Katsura is a nineteen year old man who works with Ella. He seems to have strong spiritual power, which is probably due to the fact that he is a ghost possessing a human body. The country of Selris is known for two things- their strong magic traditions, and their bloody and treacherous history. For over one thousand years, since it was founded, it has been through several wars, bloody thefts of power, and internal fighting in all of it's forms. However, with the main cause of those internal conflicts, the Dubois family, now either lying dead or scattered about the world, it has been able to climb back onto it's feet and has risen very quickly into a world power.

Centering around the last member of the Dubois family, Adele, and her Summoned Servant, a creature summoned by the family's main mage, that serves them loyally until it's death. Blessed with immortality, a Summoned Servant can only be killed by another Summoned Servant. Mayumi Aihara, Adele's Summoned Servant is not only a rare human Servant, but is also one of the oldest Servants to still exist. Now, trying to prove herself to her countrymen and trying to wipe the stains away from her family's reputation, Adele seeks to rebuild her house from scratch.

Mayumi Aihara was summoned from his home in Japan during the country's Edo Period and has been living in the country of Selris for over one thousand years, serving as the Summoned Servant of the Dubois family. Somewhat sarcastic in nature, he often comments that even if he could return back home now, there was no way he would ever be able to fit in again. He tends to be pretty laid-back, and doesn't get too surprised about anything, considering that he's seen so much in his long life. Primarily a sword fighter, he uses a broad sword, but can also handle short swords and daggers.

Mayumi is the oldest of the human Summon Servants, ever since his predecessors were killed around four hundred years ago during a great war. He doesn't really comment on his life before becoming a Summoned Servant, truthfully he can barely remember it anymore, it's been so long ago. He's rather sensitive about his age, and hates being forced to confront the fact that he is far older then the nineteen years he looks- it doesn't help that being ageless hasn't stopped his hair from turning gray. Because of his age, however, he acts as the leader of the other three human Summon Servants.

Mayumi's history as a Summoned Servant of the Dubois family is long and fairly interesting, involving several wars, in-family conflicts, affairs, fits of passion, and some rather unsavory characters, all that has lead the family to burn out, leaving behind one last member- his current master, Adele.

Adele Dubois is a fifteen year old girl, and is the last known living member of the noble Dubois family, which has had a history of great strife both with the Selris royalty, other countries, and itself. When Adele was young, half of the living members of the Dubois family were executed for treason, plotting to overthrow the current King and Queen so they could place their own ruler in as the figurehead. Much of the rest fell victim to the plague or fled the country, their fates unknown.

In the future, the world has been torn apart by war, as humans have fallen victim to their own creations. In the wake of a nuclear war that destroyed much of the world, humans are struggling to survive, fighting against robots who have become self-aware and seek to wipe them out. Their only line of defense is the Cyborg Project, creating half-robot humans to combat the robots.

But that isn't where our story is, just the backgrounds of two of the main players. RePlay and Wendy Harlow, two people from this world have been summoned into a world very unlike their own, but facing danger just as great. Making up one of the Seven Heroes, the duo must fight against the forces the seek to bring disaster to the already turmoil filled country of Nimue. It seems that not everybody in the country wants their help, though, and the two just really want to go back home- they can't leave behind those they fought alongside.


RePlay "Re" is a nineteen year old born into a world torn apart by war, a post apocalyptic wasteland. At the age of thirteen, his parents were killed during the war, and he was then considered free game for the Cyborg Project. However, seeing as he would be unlucky number thirteen, and the people of his world were oddly superstitious, the normal workers on the Cyborg Project passed him on to a different group so he wouldn't 'affect their research'. He ended up in the hands of William Harlow, who had a few different views about how the Cyborg Project should be run, and recreated RePlay as such.

RePlay has no memories of his time as a normal human, not even of his name, because he asked them to be removed. Despite his unlucky number, he is the most sophisticated of the Cyborg Project, since William didn't have any 'deadlines' to meet in making him. Unlike others of the Cyborg Project, he has something called 'Civilian Mode' which basically allows him to continue as a normal human with normal emotions and feelings. He is able to combine his Combat and Civilian Modes, but also is sometimes sent on his automatic Defense Mode which often makes him more like a robot.

RePlay tends to make the most of the fact that he is allowed to have a personality, and is loud and outspoken. He is outgoing and has gotten the hang of ignoring whatever anyone has to say about him- but talk shit about Wendy, and you're in for it. He seems to have a temper, and likes to goad people on at times, hitting on all their weak spots until they're pissed off. He is confident in his own strength and combat ability, since he is well aware that he is the best from the Cyborg Project.

Once transported into the other world, his odd looks gain him considerable attention, seeing as he has white hair, strange looking eyes, not to mention his cyborg implants. So.

We have to put my dog down, it seems.

She was such a sweetheart and I loved her very much, and I'm going to miss her a lot. She has cancer, in her anal glands of all places, and it's spread to her lungs.

I just... I thought she had at least a few more months in her. She was fine yesterday. It's too sudden and too fast. I'm really going to miss her.

She was the cutest little basset hound ever, and she doesn't deserve to suffer and be in pain. She can't even poop or eat right now.

So you think being a god is easy? Well, think again. There is nothing that Mako Yakuta wouldn't give to be able to become normal again. After all, your childhood kind of sucks when you aren't allowed to have any friends and have to live apart from your parents, right? Fleeing from his home village to Tokyo, Mako hopes to be able to maintain an aura of normalcy while there, while still keeping up his normal god duties- which mostly involve kicking ass and answering prayers, it seems.

Being normal isn't as easy as Mako thought it would be, either. It doesn't really help that he and his classmates just seem to attract monsters and other kinds of troubles.


Mako Yakuta is a sixteen year old boy who was born and raised in a small, rural Japanese village. When he was only five years old he was 'blessed' by their god, and became a god in his own right. The people in his village are very devoted, religiously, and began to worship Mako as a god and treat him as such. He has never wanted anything more than the to be treated as a normal person, however, which lead him to move away from his home town to Tokyo, where nobody knows him. He wants to be viewed as a normal person, and to have normal friends, not to be viewed as a subject of worship who only has followers.

His status as a god have left their marks on him, leaving him to have a feline appearance- cat ears and tail, with cat-like eyes and a slender, agile body. He can hide these in his human form, however. As a god, his magic powers are very strong, and he can use fire to do his bidding. He can communicate with spirits and all sorts of supernatural creatures. As a god, he is required to answer the prayers of his followers, as well as deal with any threats to the human world from the supernatural. Although he dislikes being a god, he carries out his duties still.

Mako tends to be a very nice person, though he always seems to be just a little bit sad. He's eager to make friends, so sometimes people try and take advantage of that- it never works, though. He's much wiser than he looks, seeing that he has been reading ancient texts of which most humans can not even see since he was young. Although he enjoys spending time with his familiars, he really would like some human companionship.

Yuuhi Wakai is a sixteen year old girl who lives in Tokyo. Spunky and energetic, she is a member of the girl's basketball club at her school. She has been studying kendo from a young age, and is in line to take over her father's dojo once he retires. She loves being active and out and about, and has trouble with staying in one place for very long. A tomboy to the core, she's known for her habit of wearing bike shorts underneath her school uniform's skirt.

Thirteen years ago, the dead rose and started to attack the living. These zombies seemed to have no purposes other than to basically fuck up everybody's night (for it seemed they cannot come out in the day) by either devouring them or making them join them in zombie fun time. Well, one woman eventually said fuck that, stood up, and decided to form an international force of zombie asskickers. For thirteen years, she has prevented the world from falling apart at the seems and human life going extinct all while continuing to raise her son.

The age old formula that zombies + zombie asskicking= awesome is never wrong.

Joshua Newcott (19) Joshua is the only son of Madison Newcott, the Supreme Commander of the Anti-Undead Force. His father was killed during fighting when he was a young boy and he has been raised both by the members of the AUF and his mother when she gets the chance ever since then. Although it was against his mother's wishes, he trained to become a fighter and joined the AUF proper when he was seventeen years old, when people are allowed to join as combatants. Although he was well trained, he ended up getting killed in battle very recently. He had the good luck to be killed close to sunrise, so he didn't get mauled too badly by the zombies before they vanished.

Of course, that didn't seem to stop him from becoming an undead himself. Not quite a zombie, as he still has his personality and maintains full function of his brain, and doesn't desire to eat brains. Although he has the luck to not be of the rotting, stinking corpse variety, he still is somewhat disfigured, starting with the gaping hole in his chest where his heart used to be. Skin has been ripped off from various parts of his body, leading it to being patched up with whatever they had on hand, so he looks a bit like a patchwork human, with different colored patches of skin. His right eye was ripped out and has left his face with horrible scarring, and his hair has turned a very light blonde from the trauma.

As an undead, his strength has increased far beyond what normal humans are capable of, and he has the distinct advantage of not being detected as a threat to normal zombie hordes until after he's started to bash a few heads in. His weapon of choice seems to be a sledgehammer. Joshua tends to be a pretty nice guy, though he has trouble dealing with all of the people who expect him to turn into a flesh-eating monster at the drop of a hat. He would like to know the reason he has continued to survive in this state, though.

Claire Rowan (17) Claire is Joshua's girlfriend, and has been for the past three years. They met when she was thirteen and he was fifteen, and quickly found that they had many things in common. Well, at least this one is an older idea, just recently written down. That makes me feel better about that insane rate that stuff comes out of mah head. D:

Set in the land of Neva, a large country that is at it's peak as a power, during a time when trouble is brewing from outside the country's borders. Miriya Ness has come into power now and in a change from the previous rule of her parents, she has changed many of the laws her parents set in place, and is regarded by the common folk as their champion- and similarly despised by most of the nobles, who enjoyed special treatment underneath her parent's rule. Of course, perhaps the most controversial thing she has done was to bring a werewolf into the Royal City...

Michel Ramsey (24) was the fiancee to the Princess of Neva as a child, born to a noble family who were close to the Royal family, the son of Eliza and Noah Ramsey. He was raised well, as he was their only heir, and was a good friend of his fiancee, Princess Miriya Ness. One of his favorite hobbies growing up was going hunting, and it was during one of those hunting trips, at the age of eight, that he had the great misfortune to be attacked and bitten by a werewolf. Although he maintained his human self, his parents feared that he would be cast out if he was discovered and tried to protect him. This only lasted for about a year, before he was found out. He was exiled into the Whitelands, a place where it was always cold and there were no real 'civilizations' by Nevain standards.

Fourteen years later, at the age of twenty-four, after Miriya had ascended the throne, she tracked him down and freed him from his bondage and his exile and brought him back to live with her. His time in the wilderness had changed him quite a bit. Given the nature of the Whitelands, it was far easier for him to survive in his wolf form. By the time he was found, he had forgotten most of the human language, and seemed to be stuck somewhere between the mindset of a human and an animal. Still, he had never forgotten Miriya, and is very fond of her now that he is back with her. He is very loyal to her.

Queen Miriya Ness (26) is the daughter of the King and Queen of Neva, and currently is heir to the throne. As a child, she was engaged to Michel, and was very close to him. She loved him very much and was really happy that his hand was promised to her. She was devastated when word of his exile reached her, and thought that it was unfair and cruel. He had never done anything wrong, to hell with whatever he was.

Fourteen years later upon becoming Queen, at the age of twenty-six, she tracked down Michel and freed him from his exile. Against the wishes of her advisers, she brought him back with her to the palace. From there, she took personal care to reeducate him about how to live a human life. Her love for him has never faded, although she seems to know that they could never marry now- she isn't quite that stubborn and impulsive, after all.

And villains with good! Thus, the setup for this story. An empire now rules the Earth, absolute in it's power, and seemingly loved by it's citizens. Forty years ago, the heroes of the world seemed to change overnight, suddenly abusing their powers and doing whatever the damn hell they wanted. That is when the group that now reigns stepped in and took them down, saving the world in it's hour of need- in exchange for everyone forking over their leadership rights, of course.

Set forty years after the event, the battle between the "heroes" and the "villains" wages on, only it seems that the public now has the roles flipped.

Ayden Zabala is a seventeen year old boy living in the capital city of the new empire. He honestly believes that the things their leader tells them are true, due in part that he was born forty years after the event happened. However, his beliefs get turned on their head once it turns out that he is the one Iliya has chosen to pass on her powers to. At first he is greatly disturbed and freaked out by the changes he and his body are going through, and thinks that he will snap any minute. He eventually comes to realize that what Iliya has told him is the truth, however, and ends up joining her in trying to bring down the new regime and to free those they have captured.

Ayden's new powers are much like Iliya's- psychic powers. This is handy because it allows them to fight without ever having to show their faces to their opponents, which helps keep them anonymous. Iliya's immunity to the virus was passed down along with her powers. His physical appearance becomes gradually altered in exchange for this, however, his ears becoming pointed, and his hair turning a gray color like Iliya's. Even before gaining his powers, however, Ayden tended to be well trained in karate, but he doesn't like to draw attention to this fact.

Ayden always tended to be the quiet kid in class who doesn't really stand out too much. In fact, the only thing that seems to draw attention to him is the fact that he has a really hot girlfriend in the form of Valerie, although the two seem to have a strange relationship. They really do love each other, but at the same time, they can't seem to stand each other.

Iliya/White Maiden is the only of the heroes to not be affected by the spread of the virus. She has escaped pursuit from the regime for years, and has been continuing to fight crime at the same time. She is not a human, but rather comes from a distant planet. She came to earth as a refugee after fleeing from her father, who was trying to force her into a marriage that she did not desire. She was only on Earth for a few years before the event happened. She has strong psychic powers- all people on her planet are born with some form of them, but Iliya's are abnormally strong.

Although Iliya is graceful in appearance, she is something of a social klutz. That, combined with the fact that she looks like a super-powered alien, usually keeps her holed up in her house all the time. She has a great fondness for cute things, and that was one of the primary reasons she hired her maid, Ellis, in the first place. Her thought process can sometimes be rather baffling, and she doesn't always seem to make sense when she talks.

Set in a world where magic is very much real, the Witch Hunters work to help track down and kill those Witches, Wizards, and Mages who abuse their powers. Starting with a revolution set in motion by Eden, who declared that those with magic powers should no longer have to abide by human rule, and should claim the world for themselves, since they are the superior beings. One hundred years later, after Eden has been sealed away and the Witches and Humans have been brought to a stalemate, new forces are in motion that seek to break it- for the Witches.


Tomoya Mizuki is a seventeen year old witch hunter, who is in fact a mage himself, able to tap into the elements of fire and earth. He is the son of Della and an unknown Japanese man. When she was killed for her past sins, he was taken in by her killer, Anaru, unaware of what had transpired between the man and his mother. He was raised as a witch hunter by Anaru, and was taught to hide his powers as a mage from the rest of the world. He eventually learned that the organization and Anaru was behind his mother's death, but he managed to come to terms with them and is still working with them.

In order to conceal his magic, he uses a magic bullet gun designed to handle both magic and regular bullets. Tomoya tends to come across as somewhat odd- though on the surface he appears to be a cheerful person who is always found smiling, it's not hard to see through to his rather dark and quite scary under layer. He has been pegged as a rather Yandere type. As a mage, he is quite powerful, which is not much of a surprise given his mother's identity.

Tabitha Sanna is a seventeen year old witch who works with the witch hunters, having betrayed her kind to help the humans. She is a low level witch, whose specialty is transportation and defense, and she works often as Tomoya's partner, along with her familiar, Caden. Although she can cast offensive spells and other types of magic, she is not very good at it, and often screws up even when her incantation is perfect. This is often believed to be due to her personality.

Although Tabitha comes across as initially a cheerful and happy girl, she has her fair share of problems. She has self confidence issues from being bullied as a child, as well as her own magic failures. She needs to be around people who appreciate her, and needs to hear praise constantly. She can't stand being lonely, and can feel so even in a large crowd of people. Although she is working to better herself, she still struggles with her issues. It's unknown why she was assigned to be Tomoya's helper, as his personality often clashes with hers.

Anaru Caron is a thirty-two year old exorcist who works for the witch hunters. He is Tomoya's foster father, and his mother's killer. Although he regrets having to take the redeemed witch's life, he knew he had no choice but to do so. Like his foster son, he fights using gunslinging. In his case, however, Anaru uses twin pistols, both original prototype magical bullet guns. Because they are the prototypes, they are less powerful than Tomoya's gun, but they can do things his can't.

Anaru has been working with the witch hunters ever since he was fifteen, and his village was destroyed by a rampaging mage. The sole survivor, he was taken in by the organization and was raised to hunt and destroy witches and mages. He turned his despair into rage, and for a long time, he hated witches and mages with a burning passion- until he was assigned to kill Della. It was then that he finally realized that witches were also people as well, and that they were not all like those he had so passionately hunted down and killed.

Caden Firmin is Tabitha's familiar, and is by far the strangest familiar belonging to one of the witch hunter's witches. Instead of being an animal spirit or mythical creature of some kind, he appears to be a human boy. That's actually half true- he once was a human boy, but now has become a powerful familiar. His power level is often at odds with Tabitha's, leaving people to believe that if she got over her confidence issues, she could easily be one of the most powerful witches in the organization. He seems to hold a grudge against Tabitha- the only thing that keeps him around her is his bond to her as a familiar.

When he was still a human, Caden used to be Tabitha's classmate, before she had awakened as a witch. Because she was the child of a slut mother who had an unknown father, she was often a target of vicious bullies. Caden was the only person to ever lend a hand to her, and from there on she viewed him as her savior. However, one time, when he didn't come to save her, she unwittingly used her magic on him, forcing him to come to her aid. She changed him and forced him to become her familiar then. This might vaguely be inspired by To Aru Majutsu no Index. xD

The Academy was built thirty years ago, upon the discovery of supernatural powers. Since then, people have come to it to see if they have any hidden abilities, and to have them woken if they do. As one might expect, this kind of place draws a lot of attention, and not just from humans, either. Supernatural creatures, especially demons, have been drawn to the city and live hidden in it. It is the job of the gods to watch over the city, and make sure things don't get out of hand.

Of course, some gods are kind of lazy, so they make other people do their work for them.


Kakeru Aida/Vitya is a seventeen year old esper living in the dorms of The Academy, who joined the school in order to see if he had psychic powers. Although he does, his powers are of the F Class, the absolute lowest rank of them all. He can barely levitate a pencil, and can only transmit his thoughts to people a short distance away, but cannot get anything back. He seems to take this in stride, and keeps practicing in hopes that he will reach a higher level. He tends to be an easygoing guy, who always seems to have a smile on his face, and he just takes whatever life throws at him with upbeat optimism. He has a polarizing effect on people- either they really like him, or his smiling face makes people want to punch him.

Kakeru is actually the human form of the demon, Vitya, a fire demon known throughout the world because of his devastating power. He recently got into an argument with the god of water, which resulted in him being sent to live in the human world as a human being of the lowest power ranking. He was placed in the Academy City twelve years ago and was put in the foster care of Ahiru. He's been charged with protecting the people living there from both other monsters and themselves. Oddly enough, his personality does not seem to change from his human form to his demon one, making him a smiling idiot that just happens to be able to kick your ass.

Nami Akira is a sixteen year old girl living at the Academy's dorms, an A Class supernatural power user. She can both create and command wind to do her biding, including using hurricane-force winds and razor winds. She has been working her way up from the F Class ever since she was a little girl. She is considered the second most powerful human in the city, and she doesn't hesitate to show her power. She tends to be very violent and tomboyish, who will take on anyone who comes to challenge her. She one day wants to take down the number one esper in the city, as well as Vitya, so that she can truly become number one. When it comes to Kakeru, she just wants to wipe that damn smile off his face.

Her climb to power was spurred on by her older sister, Kokone, who was also an A Class esper, though she was one from early on. However, eventually her own psychic powers overwhelmed her and she collapsed one day. She has been comatose ever since. It was believed that just before she went down, she was about to ascend past the A Class- to a level that no one had ever before witnessed in a human. Nami, too, wants to reach that level safely, in hopes that research from her might be able to save her sister.

Yutaka Arima is a sixteen year old girl who works at a convenience store by the Academy. She came to the city to see if she could awaken either psychic or supernatural powers within her, but she was shown to have zero potential for either. However, both of her parents were powerful psychics, and she didn't want to disappoint them by seeming to be a useless girl, and so she lied and said that she had gotten in- as a B Class level. Since then, she has been stuck keeping up a lie and trying to make ends meet on her own. She has a strong inferiority complex as a result of having two A Class parents, two older B-Class siblings, and a younger C-Class sibling.

Her store is often visited by both Nami and Kakeru, and it seems she has developed a crush on Kakeru over the past year and a half she has been at the Academy City. She has always tried to build up the confidence to talk to him outside of doing business, but she can't ever seem to manage to do it.

Touya Ashina is a eighteen year old C Class esper, who has power over the five senses. In effect, he can manipulate what people see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. He only recently came to the The Academy however, so his powers are only just budding. When all of his powers work together, he would be capable of completely altering reality for any person he chose to use them on, though he only seems to be able to use them on one person at a time. His powers are considered dangerous to be let out of control, and some people are worried about the person who possesses them.

I have no idea why I like this idea so much, though maybe it's due in part due to my love of the connection the supernatural have to mirrors. Also, because Toma wears awesome hats.


At the center of Ravenstown, sits Saint Mary's Boarding School, a boarding school that excepts children starting from middle school age to high school seniors. The city itself has always been drenched in a past stained by the supernatural and is known for being a ghost hot spot. So when a student shows up at Saint Mary's Boarding School that could be a mirror image of another, perhaps the supernatural events are about to come to a head.

What is real, and what was born from the world behind the mirror? Or is this the world behind the mirror?

Toma Maes is a sixteen year old student attending Saint Mary's Boarding School. He was brought in there one day by Roxanne Kozel, who has remained mum on to where he came from. He appears to strongly resemble Toby, the only differences between the two are the fact that Toma's hair is a dark gray, and his right eye appears to be a golden green color. That, and the fact that their last names are the same have led many to believe that they are somehow related, but they both seem to claim otherwise.

Oft refereed to as the Black Sheep of Saint Mary's, he seems to have strange powers over spirits and the supernatural, and is able to twist darkness as he pleases. He seems to have abnormal strength and agility, as well as impressive regenerative abilities. He seems to be able to travel through mirrors. He doesn't appear to ever sleep and tends to mostly keep to himself. The only people he has been seen talking to are Roxanne and Bianca. There are times when people can feel unspoken tension between him and Toby. He gets a reputation for being rather dangerous and somewhat creepy because of all this.

Toby Maes is a sixteen year old student at Saint Mary's who has been going there since he was a little kid. He appears to be related to Toma, though claims he has never seen him before in his life and seems to believe it is just a coincidence. He is a star student and a valued member of the soccer team. Compared to Toma's nickname of Black Sheep, people have recently taken to calling him the White Sheep. He seems to have good relations with most of the teachers, save for Roxanne, who doesn't seem to think very highly of him. He has a very likable personality, but every once in awhile, it seems to twist into something just the opposite, normally when Toma is too close for his liking. He seems to detest him, and honestly seemed disturbed when the boy first appeared at the school.

There have been some vague hints that he might not be what or even who he claims to be, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Roxanne "Roxie" Kozel is a twenty-two year old new teacher at Saint Mary's. When he was growing up, she used to be Toby's babysitter and his next door neighbor. She inexplicably quit when he was eight and moved away about three months later. She returned to the town recently, taking a job at Saint Mary's as a teacher of American History. She also returned with Toma Maes in tow, and simply says that he is a relative of a close friend when pressed about him.

She seems to have a complex relationship with the two Maes boys, and seems to strongly dislike Toby for reasons that she won't give. On the other hand, she cares deeply for Toma, and seems to act like a makeshift mother for him, of a sorts. Roxanne also has had a strong spiritual sense ever since she was a small child. She has tried on several occasions to summon helper ghosts and spirits, and on occasion, she has been successful, though occasionally not as she would have liked to have been.

Bianca Abba is a seventeen year old Italian girl from Venice who has very recently moved to the United States, about two months ago. She still struggles with the language on occasion, and is having a bit of difficulty making new friends. For some reason, it seems that the first person she wanted to try and talk to at the school was Toma. Even stranger, the two seem to get along just swimmingly, in so far as anyone can get along with Toma.

She tends to be a bit bubbly, naive, and innocent, and is the perfect target to be taken advantage of and bullied. Most people who seek to do so, however, are thwarted silently by Toma's friendship with her. He seems to be oddly protective of her, though neither of them seem to notice it somehow. It's possible that the two love each other, and neither of them have really noticed yet.

Amara Gibson is a sixteen year old girl, and a close friend of Toby since he was ten. She seems to have no taste for Toma and Bianca and doesn't hesitate to let them know it. In that case, it's pretty obvious that the Chosen One is an asshole. How is he not a villain again?

Azel Zeelen/Mage is a fourteen year old boy, who after having a strange dream one night wakes up to find himself transformed into a strange, almost drow-like form, with tanned skin, strange hair and eyes, and magical markings over his body. Coming along with this form is a vast knowledge of magic and spells. he was chosen to be the next guardian of the Magic World, which exists parallel to the human world, and sometimes spills over into ours. He typically keeps his true form hidden by an enchanted glamor earring.

While understandably freaked out for the first couple of minutes, Azel soon turns things to his advantage. As it would be, Azel is actually kind of an asshole. A good-natured asshole, but an asshole. He has little to no regard for rules and regulations, and just does whatever he feels like doing, a true delinquent. He is generally referred to as being a manipulative bastard who uses other people for his own amusement. He excels in making the lives of people he doesn't like utterly miserable. Although generally less noticed, however, he works to better the lives of those he likes- though he seems to end up manipulating his friends and family as well. He might not be able to help it.

However, he often gets away with these things because of his extremely girlish looks and naturally innocent face. He's actually rather overjoyed that his new form makes him look like a man. Though he does carry out his duties as a magic guardian, that doesn't mean he still won't abuse his newfound magic knowledge as much as he pleases. He might be a good person at heart, but it's just buried under how much of a prick he can come off as.

Brooke Young is Azel's childhood friend, a fourteen year old girl who has known him since they were in diapers. To call her a tomboy is to call Azel just a little pest- it's a severe understatement. Not only does she dress like a boy in her normal clothing, but she also wears the boy's school uniform. She has a few violence issues she needs to work out, mainly that her response to just about every problem is punching someone in the face. She has been described as having 'man-like' strength, and is often rumored to be actually male. She isn't, though.

She and Azel are close friends, and is the only one who Brooke can seem to get along with without punching them in the face at least once. She is unaware of his new magic guardian status, and is frankly kind of oblivious to any signs that something is different about her friend. She's pretty much all brawn, with very little in the way of actual brains.

Calista Zeelen is Azel's twin sister, a fourteen year old girl who is a member of the swim team. Except for gender, the two are identical and can pass for each other easily. Provided that Calista doesn't talk, however, as they are polar opposites in personality. Where Azel is an asshole, Calista is the nicest person in the world. Most people seem to think that she sucked all the nice genes out from Azel. She would be the kind of person that would be taken advantage of for her naive nature, but the thought of crossing Azel and taking a one way trip to Hell on Earth usually stops them.

She loves her brother a lot, and seems to be completely unwitting to what an asshole he is. In turn, Azel is overprotective of her and will ruin anyone who even looks at her wrong. And yet, he manipulates her just like he does with everybody else he knows, and uses her to take his place for things like tests he knows he's going to do poorly on, and when he just plain wants to skip class, with no regard to how it will affect her own grades.

Darien Xylander is Azel's other best friend, a fifteen year old boy who could be described as the very picture of disaffected youth. Although he is a year older than Brooke and Azel, he is just starting high school with them because he had so many suspensions and absences his last year of middle school that he didn't get enough hours in to pass. Although not much of a fighter, he often gets involved in scuffles. What he lacks in strength, he makes up for in brains and tactical skills and can work his way out of almost any corner.

Although he could very well be considered a genius, he stopped caring about schoolwork and his future a long time ago. He never really seems to be terribly interested in the things around him, and is only ever seen talking to Azel and Brooke. This is one I've actually had in my head since, what, last year? But anyways. It involves demons and crossdressers, and to some degree, witches! Set at the prestigious Takeuchi Academy for Boys, it seems that this year's batch of students has some rather interesting member's to it's body.

Kaoru Sumeragi is a seventeen year old girl who has come to the Takeuchi Academy for Boys, crossdressing and passing herself off as a male in order to find her savior from when she was younger. As a young girl, she mistakenly wandered onto the property of a rich family while she was lost and separated from her parents, and wound up being attacked by their dogs. She was saved by a young child at that time, and has been looking for him ever since. She later learned that property was the Takeuchi Academy, and decided to try and enroll there to track down her ' prince'.

Passing herself off as a boy is not very difficult for her, since her unfeminine appearance combined with her tomboy nature makes it almost too easy for her to blend in, which sometimes causes her great distress. Occasionally she wishes someone would figure out that she was a girl to confirm the fact that she is indeed somehow feminine.

Amane Takeuchi is the seventeen year old son of Josuke Takeuchi, the principal and founder of the Takeuchi Academy. He grew up the unwanted second son of the Takeuchi family, and was punished for it. When a witch came to the family to curse the head for the numerous sins he had committed while gaining power and wealth, he deflected the curse onto Amane, causing him to become half demon. And that was just when he was a baby.

He has grown up as an outcast in the family, only really looked after by his maid, Miwako. When he was eight, he saved a young girl who had wandered onto their property but had forgotten about it until the day that same girl showed up as his new roommate in the Academy dorms. Though she was crossdressing as a girl, he could still tell it was her. However, he cannot identity himself to her because of one problem- he was in demon form when he saved her.

Amane tends to be somewhat anti-social, and doesn't talk too much. On the surface he seems to be kind of an emotionless slate, not really responding to anything or showing any of his feelings. He is a very subdued person, who has always had to keep his emotions in check, lest his demonic nature slip out in a fit of rage or sadness.

Eichiro Tonegawa is Amane's self-declared rival, at what, nobody is really sure. The outgoing, loud-spoken and sometimes rather brainless seventeen year old is the exact opposite of the emotionally repressed Amane. He always wears his heart on his sleeve, and if something comes out of his mouth, it's generally true, even if it's a truth that could be bad to him. He is at the Takeuchi Academy on a sports scholarship for basketball, although he was injured shortly after arriving and was forced to sit out for the season.

Although he considers himself Amane's rival, the two somehow maintain a strange friendship that nobody is quite sure how it formed, or even if the two boys are even aware of it. He gets along well with Kaoru, although he sometimes feels troubled when around her, probably due to his bizarre fear of women, possibly resulting from being raised in a family of very strong, independent, and slightly insane women.

Hiromi Uematsu is the sixteen year old captain of the exorcism club at Takeuchi Academy, who is under Josuke's thumb. Like Kaoru, she is a crossdresser, but she was brought into the Academy by Josuke himself, so that she could keep an eye on Amane and kill him when the time was right. She is a very skilled actress, and passes herself off as a harmless geek who simply has a strong love of all things occult. Although she appears to be demure and weak, she is actually trained in several styles of martial arts, and could hand just about anyone's ass to them if she really tried.

She is convinced that Amane will someday turn into a monster, and is oblivious to how he got that way in the first place, her employer not wanting to let her in on his dirty little secrets. Mainly because he knows that she would turn on him if she ever found out the truth.

Hisaki Takeuchi is the first son of Josuke, a nineteen year old who is currently attending Tokyo University. He comes to visit the Academy and his father occasionally, whom he takes after quite a bit. An under-handed, back-stabbing bastard, he was raised in the lap of luxury and tends to look down on anyone that is below his station. He will use people to get what he wants, but has no real emotional attachments to anyone other than his father and possibly his mother.

Yes, I think I may just have a thing for zombies. At least, the non-rotting kind that doesn't eat brains. So more like just general undead, really, but still.

Allison Meier, known to all of her kin as the Vampire Necromancer, is an old vampire gifted with the power of reviving the dead and creating servants for herself. Unlike others of her kind, however, she has decided to use her powers to protect humans from the supernatural, and has dedicated her afterlife to making sure that nobody messes with humans while she's watching.

Yorito Agawa is a seventeen year old boy, the older brother of Naoya Agawa, and his sole caretaker. His mother left the family shortly after Naoya was born, and his father died in a car accident two years ago. Since then, he has been working hard everyday to be able to provide for both him and his brother. Between attending school and working part time jobs, he has little to no time to himself for the past two years. And, as luck would have it, at seventeen years old, he gets killed.

But that's not the end of his story. He had either the luck or the ill fortune to cross paths with the vampire necromancer, Allison Meier shortly before his death. Seeing the cloud of death upon him, and his will to live on, she brought him back to life as one of her undead. She allowed him to continue on with his life, under two conditions- he would have to be her eyes and ears in the daytime, and he would have to assist her whenever she called for him. In his desperation, he accepted her offer, without realizing what this would mean for him later. After that, everything changed.

The now undead boy moved in to Allison's home, along with his little brother. While she has agreed to pay for their expenses- after all, human money has little to no value to her, she puts Yorito to work for her. At first, once he realizes exactly what has happened to him, he is horrified at the deal he has made. Eventually, however, he grows accustomed to this way of life. As a vampire's undead servant, he has been granted a body that can regenerate itself, as well as increased speed, strength, and agility, and enhanced hearing and sight. He works to keep this a secret from his peers and his brother, which is a bit difficult when you now have to spend half of your time fighting a wide assortment of monsters.

Allison Meier is infamous in the monster world, an immortal vampire who appears to be no older than sixteen, whose powers over the world of the dead extend to necromancy. Although it is within her power to raise vast armies of the undead to do her bidding, she feels satisfied with only having one or two loyal undead servants around. Although at first glance, she can appear to be rather heartless, but actually does seem to have one underneath her regal nature. She also seems to be just a little bit perverted.

She was made into a vampire at the young age of sixteen by a fairly minor vampire, who has long since been hunted down by exorcists. Allison was a rich young lady at the time, and used that status to continue to hide her vampiric nature from the world, and do as she pleased. Over the hundreds of years she has been alive, her powers have continued to grow. Once she realized that the rift between the monster world and the human world had been torn open, she set off to seal the rift and destroy all the monsters that got through. She has recently moved to Japan, after working her way through the monsters living in England and France and sealing the rifts there.

She encountered Yorito shortly before his death, and decided that he would make a good servant. After learning of his family situation, she felt some sympathy for them, and invited both the Agawa brothers into her home. While she is powerful, she can not walk about in sunlight, so she often requires Yorito to do much of the daylight research and fighting for her. She gave him a magical seal on his arm which absorbs all magic, save her own.

Naoya Agawa is the ten year old younger brother of Yorito. He was only a baby when his mother walked out, and has no memory of her. He has been sickly ever since he was a young child, and as a consequence, he has never been able to do any of the things a normal child his age would be able to do. He has never gone to school, and is instead being home schooled by the Agawa's next door neighbor, Utau. He cares for his older brother very much, but he wishes he wouldn't push himself so hard for his sake.

He tends to be a shy and somewhat withdrawn boy, who has trouble getting to know new people. He cannot stand long periods of physical activity, and spends most of his time in bed. He has been in and out of the hospital several times over the past years, and his condition is only gradually getting worse. And one day, a portal opens up in the middle of the place, and sends four people from Tokyo onto Urivanian soil.

Yukito "Yuki" Iwata is a eighteen year old living in Tokyo. Growing up as a child, kendo was his life, and he was very good at it, able to reach the nationals at fourteen. However, a week before his nationals match, he got hit by a car and broke his leg. Even though his leg healed properly, his mind does not seem to realize this, and it has left him with a permanent limp, and a leg that will stop working if used too much. This left him unable to practice kendo. Perhaps as a result of this, he ended up falling into the wrong crowd, becoming fast friends with the school's delinquent, Takuya.

Yukito has an odd personality, even without the addition of Risa to it. He can come across as cold or really very nice, depending on who he is talking to. He hasn't quite lost the things that were taught to him during kendo training, and can be a center of calm in calamity, and yet, he is often the opposite during peace. He's easily flustered and doesn't deal well with sudden change. So it troubles him deeply when, at seventeen, he develops a split personality out of the blue- furthermore one that seems to be that of a girl's. He currently lives alone, but has contact with his family, still.

Risa Fuiji is Yukito's newly developed split personality. At first, she does not seem to be aware that she is such a thing, and seems to think that she was an actual person at one point. She might have been, it's hard to say, really. Although she is very feminine, she is constant despair of her body being that of a guys- but she is somewhat happy that it's girly enough to pass off as a female with a hairstyle change and girl's clothing. She is impulsive, rash, and is a my-way-or-the-highway kind of girl, who really doesn't seem to understand that she's the one who is burdening Yukito. She ends up forcing Yukito's family to enroll her in school as a seventeen year old girl, so that she can go whenever she comes out- crossdressing, of course.

Aika Eda is a seventeen year old girl attending the high school that Risa has forced her way into. She is in her homeroom, and has concerns about the girl and her spotty attendance. Although she is not the class rep, she often has been told that she acts like one. She is very responsible and is the very picture of an upright citizen, so one would have never been able to guess that she was a rather infamous delinquent back in middle school. She moved to Tokyo when she entered high school and tried to put that all behind her.

She seems to think that Risa is a sickly person, and often comes to check in on 'her', trying to deliver class notes and homework. This leads to some awkward situations, given Yukito's living situation. She is not quite convinced that their relationship is what he says it is, but doesn't seem to think that they are technically the same person. Yukito and Takuya seem to fire up her delinquent spirit from time to time, much to her horror.

Takuya "Taku" Hanai is a nineteen year old living in Tokyo, who is Yukito's best friend. He has been rolling with the delinquent crowd ever since he was little, thanks to his big sister, who raised him. His fighting skills are not to be under-estimated, and he remains undefeated in a fair fight. He made a name for himself all throughout middle and high school both from his skills, and his unique appearance. He doesn't seem to care that much about reputation, though, and just does whatever he pleases.

He takes Yukito under his wing after he gets removed from the kendo club, and teaches him his ways. He is highly disliked by Yukito's parents, and was in part responsible for the fight that caused Yukito to have to move away from them. He doesn't seem to be intending on apologizing any time soon, seeing as he is sure he was in the right. After Risa appears, he helps Yukito keep 'her' a secret, even forcing himself to become her boyfriend so she stops trying to chase man ass.

As of February 3rd, I will be twenty years old. Twenty! D: And yet, people still think I'm like fourteen. (At least my birthday isn't on the Super Bowl this year. Maybe I'll actually get to eat out for it this time!)

For those of you who follow my Danny Phantom fanfiction (or did) and don't know, I'm back to writing it! I've gotten in updates of Graveyard Shift: Redux, Shadow of the Reaper, Two of a Kind, and Blood of a Phantom, as well as having started up a new story, The Once and Future Phantom. I'll be scrapping Reincarnation and Memory, however, because after some debate, I've decided that those would work better as original stories. I'm planning on starting up a second new story as well, kind of a remix of an old one that didn't work out. I'll be scrapping the first chapter of Moonlit Bane and will rewrite it, because I don't think that was my best work, really.

Anyways, some of you MIGHT be familiar with the protagonist of this inspiration journal, Ikuto Muira! I uploaded his design awhile ago. But, anyways. Set in Japan, where things do go bump in the night- monsters, created by monster seeds that a strange wandering person implants in the weak-willed and desperate, transforming them into bloodthirsty monsters.

Also, the who I's for men, and M's for women was totally unintentional at first, but then I noticed it, and went full throttle with it. Huzzah!

Ikuto Muira is a sixteen year old male, who became a monster one year ago. Growing up, he had always been a wimp and a weakling, not helped by his short height. Bullied constantly, he finally felt completely lost after his crush witnessed him getting beaten up. Desperately wishing to become stronger, he found that his wish had been granted the next morning. Unfortunately, it had been granted by a twisted being spreading monster seeds throughout the world. Along with increased strength came murderous feelings and a lust for blood and human flesh. Disgusted and horrified at what he had become, Ikuto ran away from home and did his best to suppress those feelings.

He has been traveling with Ichizo recently, who has helped him control his monster urges. Over the course of the year, he has had a drastic growth spurt and has dyed his hair blue. He's come out of his shell, although he still sometimes has moments of genuine dorkiness. He tends to be rather sarcastic, and tries to distance himself from those that he cares about, not wanting to get them involved in his business. Of course, that becomes much more difficult when he childhood friend Mizuki finds him and drags him back home.

Misato "Misa" Muira is Ikuto's thirteen year old younger sister, the twin of Iyo. She is a fiery tomboy, and is known for her fearsome right hook. She has been studying karate almost since she could walk, and has been known to beat up anyone who so much as tries to bother her and her friends. Energetic and quick to grin, she is a pretty popular girl in her school. She loves Iyo and Ikuto a lot, although Ichiro has done nothing but annoy her almost from day one.

She was devastated when Ikuto left without a word, but feels overjoyed to have him back, even if he has changed. She wants to pick up their relationship back from where it left off, but it seems that he's not really willing to do that, for some reason.

Iyo Muira is Ikuto's thirteen year old younger brother, and the twin of Misato. Unlike his sister, he is rather shy and quiet, always preferring to play by himself. He would rather stay inside and read a book on a sunny day than go out and play, and has trouble talking to people, especially adults. Despite being fraternal, he and his sister are almost identical, which often leads to Iyo being mistaken for a little girl. He could always feel sympathy for Ikuto, since he was occasionally bullied when Misato wasn't around to stop them. He is somewhat taken aback by Ikuto's changes when he returns and seems to be avoiding him for now.

Mizuki Anno is Ikuto's sixteen year old childhood friend. She has never been in a world without Ikuto, being born only two days after he was, and has lived next door to him forever. Seeing that they were the same age, the two were often lumped together and they quickly became friends. Mizuki grew up to be a fairly level-headed girl, though she could be rather stubborn and often has trouble admitting her feelings. She always encouraged Ikuto to stand up for himself, and was horrified when word of him running away reached her.

As it was, however, she crossed paths with him once again, on her school trip to Hokkaido a year later. Even though he had changed, she still recognized him, and forced him to come home with her and appease the worries of his parents and younger siblings. She admits that she is happy that Ikuto has seemed to have grown a spine, but she can't help shake the feeling that there is something very wrong with him.

Michiko Ito is the most beautiful girl in Ikuto and Mizuki's school, though not the most popular by far. Though this sixteen year old girl has the looks, her personality is not very appealing to people, and they are often intimidated by her. Michiko tends to be a very mature, if very cold and sometimes emotionless girl. She is very refined and sophisticated and is on a completely different level than the rest of the students. Set in Tokyo, fifty years into the future, and twenty years after the end of a devastating war, the city is just starting to pick the pieces back up and move on with life. Crime rates, although starting to drop a little, are still at an all-time high in certain parts of the country. So obviously what this calls for is a crack team of underaged detectives!

Seriously.

Kagami Miwa is a nineteen year old girl who has recently set up her own detective office. From a young age, Kagami was shown to have photographic memory and abnormal intelligence, making her a prodigy in the eyes of many. Her father was a police detective, and she has always aspired to follow in his footsteps, despite the fact that her mother urged her on to become a doctor or a lawyer. Although she was a prodigy, she never really acted like people expected her to, as she always had her head in the clouds rather than down on earth and in the books.

Kagami tends to be something of a strange girl, who, although she can stomach the most gruesome of sights, turns into a flailing mess whenever she is in the same room with a roach. She is intelligent, but lazy, and has a great fondness for both money and helping people. She is eager to make a name for herself, but admits that she only wants to work on what she considers to be 'really cool cases'. She is very fond of idol singers and will buy every magazine that contains anything about her favorite one, which varies from time to time.

Saito Murakami is Kagami's eighteen year old best friend, an outgoing and friendly guy. He is the twin brother of Takeru and gets along with him well, although the two couldn't be any more different. He is a very active person who participates in many sports, but enjoys basketball the most. He used to be a member of the martial arts club, but the rejected him during his second year because he 'made everyone else look bad.' Kagami is prone to describing his physical strength and endurance as 'stupidly great', and that he's not really good for anything but his muscle. He works with Kagami at her agency.

Saito leads a troubled home life, however, as his mother has refused to even look at him, much less acknowledge his existence after the two of them got into a car accident when he was thirteen. Unbeknownst to him, the real Saito Murakami passed away in the accident, and his father, a military researcher, quit his job and moved his family into the suburbs. He did this for the purpose of keeping the creation of a Doll of Saito secret- the discovery of what her husband was doing eventually led his mother's descent into insanity. Saito himself is unaware that he is a doll, but wants nothing more than to get his mother to return his affections.

Takeru Murakami is the eighteen year old twin brother of Saito. Although they are identical save for their hair colors, their personalities could not be more different. Takeru is socially awkward and tends to be rather withdrawn. Most of the people he knows are because of his twin brother, and it seems like he even has trouble speaking to Saito. He is very shy and tends to be a bundle of nerves, but is often thought of as cute for that same reason. Saito typically drags him along to help out Kagami, but he's mostly used as a distraction.

Takeru is the product of being raised in the constant shadow of his older brother, only to have that older brother killed, then replaced. He stood by as a bystander as he watched his mother loose her mind and begin to cling to him as her 'only son', and watched as his brother tried to desperately regain her affections. He never told Saito about the accident, as he felt it might be the final straw to rip his fragile family apart.

Suzaku Sakata is a twenty-three year old junior detective on the Tokyo Police Force. He tends to be regarded as a strange one, and most people don't want to partner up with him. Although he is quiet to the point of almost being considered mute, he seems to have a strange fondness of being around people, and is known for passing out 'gifts'. Of course, these gifts often reflect his taste, which is rather strange to put it lightly. He seems to have no social tact, but also seems to be amazingly brilliant at putting puzzles together.

He eventually quits the police force and joins Kagami's agency, mostly because he thinks she is cute. He has a great fondness for cute things, it would seem, although his idea of cuteness isn't always consistent with other peoples. At a height of six feet, four inches, he is physically imposing, but the illusion of any threat doesn't really last long.

Yusuke Tsukino (Knight Luna) is the sixteen year old son of Queen Serenity the Second and King Helios. He acts nothing like your typical moon family royalty, and in fact would rather have nothing to do with his royal lineage. He spends most of his time away from the palace and out on the streets, playing poker, skipping school, and generally getting into trouble. Despite being considered the black sheep of the family, he was the one to inherit a Crystal, becoming Knight Luna, with control over metal. He seems to be unable to use the Silver Crystal, much less even touch it, for reasons unknown. He is good friends with Yuki and subsequently Kouin.

Usagi Tsukino is the eight year old princess of Crystal Tokyo, the daughter of Queen Serenity the Second and King Helios. She is the heir to the throne, and it shows in her well-mannered and refined nature, and she is very mature for her age. She has a few issues with her brother, and wishes that he would act like a proper prince, and in fact feels somewhat embarrassed by him. She looks up to her mother and her grandmother with great respect, as they are the role models in her life. She one day hopes to become as great a Queen as those before her. While she does not have a Sailor Crystal, she can still uses the power of the Silver Crystal.

Hyoukai Otome (Sailor Mercury) is a seventeen year old delinquent girl from Osaka who has recently moved to Crystal Tokyo. A violent tomboy who is never afraid to speak her mind, and always seems to act on impulse, Hyoukai is an unlikely heir for the Mercury crystal. Wielding the power of ice, she has strangely become the muscle of the team- when she wants to fight, that is. She doesn't really like all this senshi business. She is in fact, not the real Sailor Mercury, but a replacement, as the original Sailor Mercury killed herself a year and a half ago. It became Hyoukai's burden to bear since it was her relentless teasing of the girl that finally lead to her death. After baring witness to the suicide in front of her own eyes, and later attempting to drown herself as the consequences of her actions sunk in, Hyoukai has since completely repressed all memories of the girl.

Anzu Endo (Sailor Mars) is a strange, petite fifteen year old girl. Never seen without a lace parasol and either Lolita or Victorian style clothing, Anzu is generally considered to be quite creepy. She is a quiet girl, who seems to only say bizarre things when she speaks up. She is able to read people's auras, and can tell their true feelings, and has been ever since she was a child. Her parents died when she was young, but she does not seem to mourn them overmuch, as they were so distant from her life that she barely knew them at all. As the new Sailor Mars, what she lacks in attack variety, she makes up for in the power of her attacks.

Makoto Yamanaka (Knight Jupiter) is a tall, sixteen year old boy who is the heir to the Jupiter Crystal, ironic given his first name. He resembles the original Makoto in many ways, from hair and eye color, to even aspects of his personality. Although he has the appearance of a delinquent, and indeed, he can certainly throw down with the best of them, he is mostly a cheerful, if not slightly dense, boy, who enjoys cooking and cleaning. He is blatantly homosexual, and has never really made any effort to hide this, and in fact seems to flaunt this at times. As the knew Jupiter, he joins Hyoukai as the muscle of the team.

Exorcism. It is the fine art of dispelling spirits and things from human bodies that are not supposed to be there. But what happens when an exorcism goes wrong? Well, normally, that would be quite the terrible thing, but what if the spirit inside of you isn't actually evil to begin with? What if that demon that sneaked into your body was never evil to start with? What happens then?

Hilarity, of course.

Tanami Kudo is a seventeen year old delinquent who is feared throughout his area for his strength and his fighting skills. He seems to have little to no desire to ever attend class, and seems to have trouble empathizing with people at times. He is always seen wearing an eyepatch to cover his right eye, which most people think that he lost in a fight. He has a tendency to ignore authority figures and just does whatever it is he likes. This causes great despair to his old childhood friend, Kurumi, who remembered him as a sweet, kind, and caring little boy.

The truth of the matter is, that sweet little boy is not, in fact, the current Tanami. As a very young child, Tanami accidentally broke the seal around where a demon had been sealed. Thanks to a priest's quick action, the demon was sealed deep inside the boy, where it could not get out. However, ten years later, Tanami was shot in his right eye during a botched robbery. This caused the seal on the demon to release, pushing Tanami's soul back, and letting the demon's come to the front.

From there, using the newly awakened demon's power, Tanami's body healed itself, his lost eye being replaced by that of the demon's. As it turned out, however, the demon was not actually evil, but had mistakenly sealed after he escaped the demon's world, carrying with him a human girl who was meant to have been a sacrifice. The villagers took him for an evil demon, and sealed him despite the young girl's protests. This is possibly because, despite being a mostly good demon, he still has a tendency to not act like it. While his body is that of a human, the demon has managed to maintain some of his demonic powers as well as his fighting skills.

Daniel Moore is a nineteen year old American living in Japan. He works at a night club, and is viewed as a very attractive man, outgoing, friendly, and very likable. He is very easy to get to know and is rather approachable, having warmed up considerably from his first few years living in Japan. He seems to be missing his right eye and wears an eye bandage to cover that fact up. He is often complemented on how great his Japanese is.

Daniel is in fact, the real Tanami. After their souls switched, 'Tanami' was taken back to the priest, Katashi, who sealed him in the first place. Because the seal shattered in a way as it did, the demon could not be resealed. Instead, after listening to the demon's story, the priest decided to do something quite different. He attempted to separate the demon from the human, using the stone that the demon was originally sealed in as a medium for his body. While at first it seemed to have worked, something was still wrong.

The souls had been placed in the wrong bodies. While the demon's soul remained in that of the ten year old Tanami, the real Tanami's soul was placed inside the demon's body. Although he tried to switch the souls back, it could not be done. Naturally, Tanami was very distraught at first, from everything that had happened. He started out to be very withdrawn and didn't speak to anyone for awhile, but eventually, he did come out of his shell, realizing that he was most likely stuck this way, and moping about it wouldn't do him any good. As a demon, he possess all of the demon's old powers, as well as his physical strength.

Kurumi Kuroiwa is Tanami's childhood friend, a seventeen year old girl who is now the student council president at his school. Growing up, she lived in the apartment next door to his and the two became close. After the botched robbery, however, Kurumi had been so traumatized that she lost her memory of the past year. In an effort to help her heal, her parents moved away to the country where her grandparents lived.

Two years ago, she returned to Tokyo and looked to resume her friendship with Tanami. While she had regained most of her memory that she lost, the month prior to the robbery attempt seemed to be gone forever. She was stunned to find that her sweet best friend was acting as he did, and furthermore stunned when he didn't even seem to recognize her. After awhile, she began to despise her old friend.

She became student council president a year after transferring and is known for her desire to uphold all of the rules.
