Listening to: Brian Setzer Tribute to Sun Records

I finally got a chance to do some browsing tonight, once you sift through all the animae stuff (that all looks the same to me ) I came across some really cool stuff out there.

I'm sittin' here trying to be quiet since the computer is still in Domi's room (my 10 month old). Man, baby's are freakin' CUTE when they sleep! Why do they stick their butts up in the air though? Hmmm. He "talks" and laughs in his sleep too which is just WAY too funny! His brother didn't do that stuff that often.

Well I hear that September 10th is "no gas day." We're all not supposed to get gas in order to "stick it to the man" for the raising prices...hmmm....sounds a bit silly to me, but if the prices keep goin' up not buying gas won't just be a choice. :\ And man I hate walkin', guess I gotta find some way to get really rich really fast! Any ideas?

My hand's heeling pretty well from the Carpal Tunnel Surgery last week. The PT hurts, & I get a lot of those aweful tingly's all the way up my arm, but another couple weeks should have me back to "normal." I took a shot of the stitches, I'm just too sick to deal with posting it at the moment though.

Sucks that the search ain't workin' here DA! I tell ya, I'm thinkin' about gettin' a server & puttin' together another sight that would have a larger bandwidth and more options for payin' folks, but it might just end up as just that,,,a thought. We'll see. My right hand is throbbin' pretty good too, man! And the worst thing is that they only gave me T-3's! I wanted perks!!! I might have to call the doc & beg man, cuz these things make me pretty sick.
I got out & saw House of Wax today, man it was freakin' messy! I enjoyed seein' Paris Hilton gettin' a spear through the skull, but aside from that it was alot of un-needed gore. But hey, I just go for the popcorn anyway so I still win!

Pick up the new Queens of the Stone Age if you're into desert/stoner/doom rock, it kicks ass! And if you're into Christian rockabilly (strange combo I know) check out The Found Cats. They're at [link], as well as some AWESOME secular rockabilly as well.

Listening to: Lullabies To Paralyze
Reading: The Life and Times of Muddy Waters
Watching: Bone Collector

Welp, another day in lovely state of Mary-Land.

A little kid sneazed a BIG-ASS snot blob right on my little 5 month old baby's head (it was f**kin' NASTY!!!!), now both of the kids are sick . Kids are gross, man,,,filthy as hell; and this is comin' from a guy who'll wear the same jeans until someone tells me to change them cuz they reek! I just don't get it?
I especially don't get the lack of ethics in todays buisness world, but that's WHOLE nother deal.
Speakin' of sneazes, I was at the store tonight & I walk into someone's sneaze!!!! I didn't hear it, nobody was around, but it had that nasty cloud that's unmistakably "sneaze breath!" So I guess now I wait to see what I come down with,,,God help me....

Anyway, I just found out my uncle had a heart attack & nobody botherd to call until he was home from the hospital AFTER a surgery (yeah, I'm a little upset about that!) & one of my cousins is bleeding after her baby was born (like 2 weeks ago) but they don't where it's coming from!!! Hmm! Doctor's degree or not, someone has to graduate at the absolute BOTTOM of their class & I'm sure I find them ALL!

Until next time, stay dry,,,and please wear clean underwear in case you're in an accident...
i did go and spend WAY too much on a new bass though. it's a Kingdoublebass Slap King with a K & K pick up and all upgraded hardware, gut strings etc. now only if i could feel my damned fingers I might actually be able to play it!

Well, after a VERY long day we finally have another little boy, Dominic James! Only, he's not so little as far as newborns are concerned, but I won't hold that against him. After all, he's gonna need the extra beef to handle his big brother and his dog.

I can't even tell you how connected I feel to him already, I didn't wanna leave the hospital but we have a dog that needs lookin' after etc... He is quite the little blessing after this very long, hard day. Praise God that he's doing so well! I pray with everything I have in me that he continues to do well!

Man! Still nuthin'! mia moglie (Gwen) is already like 3 days late with our 2nd little boy Dominic (yes, he's alive even though we can't see him yet) and she's way miserable! Adding to it, is that I gotta get up at 6am (I work late afternoons/nights) tomorrow to go see if we can either get'm outta there tomorrow, or make an appointment for tuesday (God willing).

And of course, I already feel like crap,,,more than usual that is , which means the beginning of November is gonna be a beast! At least I still have my addictions which comfort me, 1928 prayer book , caffine, green tea, the bass, sketch book (I totally destroyed a "cartoon" of Setzer today that I was planning to do on a velvet!), cameras, and my little guy Cenzo,,,who had a 10 foot attitude problem today... Hmmm, he's gonna be just like me, God help me!

Oh well, there's always pizza, and popcorn I guess...

Hmm. Just when I thought I could no longer be shocked by ignorance, I come across a few ridiculously ignorant catch phrases like, “war is not the answer,” and so on. I suppose that’s true if we’re talking about a next door neighbor who keeps letting his dog crap on your rose bush, or maybe even setting the school bully right, although most times they’re UNREASONABLE. Which brings me to the point, when we’re dealing with a world-view that’s fundamentally opposed to our own in such a way that it demands the violent extermination of all other world-views, reasoning can no longer be a viable option.

In fact, we’re left with only a few options: 1) do nothing and slowly be exterminated or completely absorbed into this hostile world-view, 2) constantly live on the defensive, and eventually end up being exterminated or absorbed into the hostile world-view, or at best, be forced to witness countless numbers of our own civilians being murdered on our own soil for the rest of our existence, or 3) do whatever we can to exterminate the hostile world-view! One thing is certain, reasoning with people who WILL NOT be reasoned with (UN-reasonable) is not an option. To borrow a phrase from my mother when I was kid, “talking to your father is like talking to a wall,” but to be sure, her “reasoning” with him had better results than attempting to reason with the unreasonable. The results would be worse than talking to walls, since the wall won’t attack you while you waste time talking.

Of all the pie-in-the-sky crap that I hear from tree-hugging pacifist-extremists, I’ve yet to hear another suggestion on how to handle such opposition; “put up or shut up,” as the old saying goes. And hearing about how bad life is from spoiled “goth” and “punk” posers who’s depression is self-imposed and who’s biggest problems are slow computers or scanners with too little resolution just makes me physically ill.

The war is still being kept on someone else’s front door, which is exactly what it is intended to do. True, it’s inevitable that it’ll make its way here unless total genocide is considered and our boarders closed completely, which I shudder to think of, but for now we can experience a twisted kind of “carnal peace.” Our mistake is complacency; soft-America has allowed herself to be lulled back to sleep by our $20 movie tickets, I-pods, computers, reality tv, internet porn, black hair dye and eye-liner, and of course, Hollywood political scientists who are even more ignorant of the average American life then the “real” politicians. To let John Mellancamp or Jon Bon Jovi advise you on an appropriate chord progression or scale to put across a particular emotion is one thing, but to let them sway your choice for a political leader is just flagrant stupidity. Believe it or not, Manson is not the best place to go for your world-news, but at least he “has his lunchbox and is armed real well.”

Ignoring the state of things is no longer a luxury that Americans can afford. Wake up, get your shit together, get off the bandwagon you might be riding, get informed by a variety of sources, choose your side and ride it out; and yes, moral character is indeed essential to ALL leadership positions.

And by the way, 2 quick facts: 1) if everyone’s doin’ it, it’s no longer original.
2) Don’t join the military for the college benefits unless you’re willing and prepared to go to war, after all, that IS what the military is for.
