Oh, and Kyle informed me that Kanye West is one of the best bloggers EVER. It's true too. He's so funny. And it made me want to download some of his songs. And another thing I am pumped about...I freaking love my french literature course. It makes my life. I really like the professor and I'm kind of getting in the analytical mood. I know, I'm a dork. Get over it. This quarter feels so so so much better than last quarter. I hated most of my classes last quarter though. I mean, it feels like more work this quarter but it's probably because I've been putting more effort into my classes. They are so fun though. Shut up, I like making icons with my little prismacolor pens. It makes me happy. And I even somewhat like my drawing for design class. I'm okay with making really really precise lines on pages I have to keep really really clean. If you try to get me to draw a realistic person, eff that. It won't happen. Oh god, I feel so driven.

Maybe I will go to business school for my masters after I graduate. I kind of want to. That's right, I'm thinking about this stuff already.

I'm so excited about EXERCISE tomorrow. I'M GOING TO KICK SOMETHING WITH MY ENERGY LEGS.

I hope to make car trips more often and get lost. Maybe go up to Shenandoah and drive through the mountains. I am upset that my passenger is now gone, I'll have to find someone just as willing. And I definitely need to make more trips to Fredricksburg to see my UMW folk. I like it down there because you can walk around at night and not feel threatened. I was so happy to see the leaves falling a few weeks ago and it is unfortunate that soon the trees will be bare and the sky will revert back into that ugly gray.

The adventure consisted of tasty plans and collective sleep. I won't explain this because you will know when this happens to you. It's almost like reaching nirvana, I promise. Though it was a joy ride it was more meditative than expected. Sixteen hours gives you time to think is what it boils down to. Kyle and I talked about life and not life and watched as the sun set in an upside down fashion. You could always call this a sunrise but that doesn't seem necessary.

We listened to a boatload of indie music, as well as played the occasional upbeat song to keep us awake. I'm certain no one else could have been my musical navigator as Kyle has mastered this. On the way there, when the sun rose we watched as colorful leaves hit the road and fluttered across. The trees on the side of the road became patterns of red, yellow, orange, and brown. Dilapidated barns were fenced inside barb wired gates and the sun was muted behind rain clouds.

We arrived in Fredricksburg and then drove to see Elyse and Erika at their dorm rooms. Erika was the only one awake at the time so we went to eat breakfast at Crackerbarrel and I ate fried blueberry pancakes. Kyle and Erika made attempts at the peg game on the table as we giggled over nonsensical things. In our conversation we decided that Kyle and I have the spontaneity that only fictional characters have. We then decided that our movie could only be titled "Kyle and Jenn Make an Infinite Porno List". We of course decided this because we are extremely original. We went back to Erika's dorm and Kyle slept for about three hours. Within that three hours Elyse showed up and we all talked about winter/summer plans and then Elyse left to do latin homework (how scholarly!). Kyle awoke and we got ready to go to their downtown. We spent sometime browsing shops and then walked back because Kyle and I had to head back home. We grabbed some food and then got back on the road again.

The way home was much quieter as we were exhausted from a lack of sleep. Much of what I remember is the memory of my chapped lips and my dry cough. The last few hours were the hardest. Though I was able to keep my eyes open at all times the road became somewhat blurry and I was forced to pretend I was the foot of a sewing machine sewing a pair of pants. When we finally got into Savannah the weights were lifted. We wearily climbed out of the car and made our ways straight to our beds. This was the most comforting sleep I've yet to have. I didn't have to think about anything before I closed my eyes, my mind was clear.

The day started out with a date to Zunzi's and then we ate in one of Savannah's fine squares. LOL. Then I came home and my dollfie had arrived in the mail. YAAAY. Hercules is so freaking cute. We then decorated Kyle's humble abode (mostly Kyle did though ) and it was fantastic looking. I am sad I did not get any pictures. We at first had like a gazillion people at the party but then I got a text from the girl I went on a date with and she wanted to come to the party. So, I headed back to the dorms and about six people wanted to go back to the dorms anyways so I clown cared it to the O'House dorm. Then I picked up the girl and we then proceeded to watch 7 hours of ghost hunters at Kyle/Lauren's house with two new comers (who were awesome) and Jeremy. Jeremy in drag FTW! *is ecstatic* Halloween FTW!
