Anyway, just an update, i was down with a bad case of flu and cough and was out of action for one week. Didnt do much during that week except watching alot of anime and played some games and revisiting monster hunter 2nd G(i think i can finally take down a white fatalis by myself!)

So now i am back online and i will continue to work on the artworks i promised to finish by end o the year and the sculptures. I have completed "Teen G" character but have yet got to paint it cos i need airbrush.. Will get that when my pay (and hopefully bonus) comes in. I will also commission someone to create one of my chracters soon.

I have finished watching Macross Frontier on blu ray(After playing Ace Frontier on PSP I thought i should watch the newest series that i missed). Its their 25 years anniversary can you believe it! Its really as what was promised. An Epic series. They really did a good job integrating 3D into 2D animation. The fight scene are in 3D and there isnt any distraction when 2D animation was involved. Story line is quite ok. As usual they need song and music to boost the morale of the fighters and to take down their enemies. They kept saying Yack Deculture though and i still dont really get what it is. Something to do with with Zentradi race and it kinda meant "Shocking" ? Hmmm...

Anyway, i recommend this series. Especially love the sound track. Sheryl Nome is my favourite songstress though i do like Ranka Lee too.

I feel very inspired after this series but also kinda sad that i have finished it. Let look forward to new series in future!

By the way, Singapore's 2009 Toy and comics convention was alright. It was not as happening as what i would expect (Most probably because of the economic downturn) but it was still a good experience. I got some art prints(I regret not buying more though) from [link] & [link] booth. Cool people. As good as how they look online.

The cosplay is quite interesting too. maybe i should join the next one as a monster hunter! I will do Kushala Daora's armor with a taiji!

Its quite inspiring though i know it will take quite long for me to reach that level. I will need the tools and hopefully a little studio to get started. I will be needing a work bench, some clamps, a drill machine, a bench saw, a jig saw, some filing tools, carving tools and lots of sand paper. If only i have access to the old workshop back in art school. Well, i will start with buying of materials first! :/

Anyway, an update, we are looking for a new maid/helper coz my wife has found a new job and is starting tomorrow. Lets hope the new helper is the Right one this time round. No more dishonesty or playing tricks with us. Just do the job, finish contract and go home with the money....
