Happy New Year! May 2008 bring you happiness, love and success! I can only hope it'll be half as good as 2007. This year, I've accomplished a lot, I've had one or two failures and the rest were wins. And I've fallen in love with so many things this year. And ... I'm happy.

_{Okay art facts first ...}

1. I'm a regular Photoshop addict, I keep it on 90% of the time I'm at my comp, even if I don't need it, I keep it open just for the hell of it. XD Yeah, this has affected my traditional drawing skills, obviously, but has made me way better at digital art.

2. I am a slight attention whore. <__< I was always happy to get attention. I drew stickfigures when I was 4-5 and my audience were my parents. I used to draw ponies and princesses when I was in elementary school and people actually commissioned me to draw the same thing for them. XD In high school some teachers started to give me good grades because of my art, wtf, although I was a complete dunce at many subjects. I was not that satisfied with my art but loved getting attention. XD

3. Reading what I said above, this is gonna seem a little weird but I'm sure many artists share my thoughts. I absolutely hate my art. And that's how it will always be no matter how people try to cheer me up. No, I'm not an emo bitch who slits her wrists after drawing and whatever claims she quits drawing for good. I do have willpower. Knowing that I must get better is a good impulse for a masochist like me. If I'm ever in love with something I draw then the end of the world is nigh.

4. Due to unfortunate circumstances { the flat has only 3 rooms and each person claims a room to sleep in } and the fact that I sleep during the day and am awake at night, I've been forced to draw in the kitchen, which is a sucky place to be creative because hyperactive flies are having orgies in here, blargh O.o

5. I'm different from the stereotypical nature lover. I 'm one of those individuals who freaks out when people are doing harmful things to the environment. Mix that with sadism and a slight dose of insanity and you've got my daily attitude. I adore it when people die because of natural disasters and strongly hope global warming will wipe out most of the human race. And this is my way of seeing the world so shut it.

6. When I was a child and throughout my early teens, I strongly believed I would become immortal someday. Not in the Christian sense, physical sense is more like it. I remember enthusiastically reading about genetic research, telomere properties and stuff related to aging. I managed to discard these ideas and eventually learned to live with the truth.

7. I am a friggin gastronomical genius. Modest too lol XD Ok ok I don't cook that often, but when I do, I like to try preparing the most interesting dishes, to be creative and experiment with lotsa ingredients, hoping people will like my stuff. I make terrible coffee though

8. My kitty is the most beautiful, lovable, sweet, gentle, wonderful thing that has walked the face of the Earth and I love him to death. No, you can't have him, he's mine. I should probably charge people money to hug him. *cough* Okay, Free Hugs, fine.

I don't think I've ever spent more time wandering around with people as I did today. For almost 12 hours, me and a few friends, whom I hadn't seen for some time, went to pub after pub, restaurant after restaurant.
It has been an insane time and I kept complaining to everyone who had ears about how tired/sleepy/feet hurt/thirsty I was. At the end of the day, though, I was happy, it was fun.
Yeah ramble ramble, I am now a fresh University student. Kanpai~! ^_^

I've finished all my work so I can finally do what I want. Honestly, I didn't expect everything to end like this, but I guess this is what I diserve for not taking things seriously.

A few wins had made me overestimate myself, and as a consequence, I've failed one of the most important exams of the year.

Surprisingly, I'm content with it, since it's my fault for being all happy go lucky about it. Next year, I'll try to overestimate the exam as much as possible.

Exams are coming up in 3 weeks and I've got a feeling I'm unprepared and I am also horrified. I just hope I won't fail. 2 weeks since I haven't been here ... Tired, sleepy, have been too independent and haven't eaten properly in the past week. I'm kind of grumphy still, I guess, but less than in the past ^^

I went through a lot of stuff this week, alone in a huge city (though I had told a heap of people to come, only 2 did, and that's because I bugged the hell out of them), bitten by dogs, broke back( that's what you get for carrying a laptop and walking in the center of Bucharest for hours ), followed by stalkers. Though some nice things did happen. I've won first prize at some important Digital Art competition. Prize included a nice sum of money, about 1000 euro. Sadly, the organizers changed their minds and just gave us a lot of stuff that they had gotten from their sponsors which was worth less <.< Now I have to sell a Laptop and a WiFi phone fast before they go cheap. I'll have about 600 euro when and if I'm through ... Mmmhph, my goal was to raise money for a ticket to Perth which is twice that sum ( so I could bug a certain person just for the fun of it XD )... Effing damn~!! On the other hand, a ticket to Oosaka is exactly that price though. *insane laughter*

5. All-knowing sig makers ~ " your sig sux rotfl ...cuz it has no depth and no c4ds ..." excuse me, that is your view of a good sig so please don't impose your style on me or others ( as if saying that helps, 80 % of the sig community has the same boring style anyway )

6. Spammers ~ less than 3 words per post.

7. Thieves ~ When you surf around the net and see your art with another guy's name on it.

8. Work for nothing ~ Working on something for 3 weeks and giving it your best and next thing you know, 2 faves ( then submit a cheap creation and get 70 faves ... )

9. People who use tracing/reference but never mention it ~ And then everyone goes *wow, you've improved so much* until someone comes up "wait, that piece is familiar"

10. 3 minute drawings ~ waste of server space.

11. Afraid of change ~ Flash? Illustrator? Maxon? Naah, I'll never try those, too hard, I'll just stick to my Photoshop.

Well yeah, haven't written anything here in a while I usually update less often though ... Came home last night from a barbecue ... I still smell like a burnt chicken

*cough* Anyway, I'm currently working on a lot of drawings and animations and related stuff hoping that one day I'll hit the jackpot and actually create something good.

Really now, I hadn't submitted any wallpapers and designs on websites for a while ( DA doesn't count ). Then, after a shallow period of studying, I decided to resume Photoshop work and after submitting some of my work on various websites I kept getting reminded of how bad my skills are. Really, my works never meet any website's standards ( that happens all the time, no surprise there not complaining about that ) but the real shock was fueled by the fact that I had forgotten what it felt like to have a great taste of failure for a while ( that and the fact that I worked day and night on some things that eventually came out ugly ). Like a cold shower in the face. I'm not being harsh on myself. This is reality. I know my designs/drawings are not good. And since bitching about my troubles isn't going to help, from now on, I'll enable the "advanced critic encouraged" option for most of my creations and hope that people will start being evil ( :masochistic ego inside grins: XD ) and will stop faving every piece of { censored } that I make because they're my friends. Because, basically no one besides my firends actually gives a damn about my work. I know that for a hobby, what I do is good. But, one day (far far away) I plan to make this into a career. Because people have goals in life. It's what keeps us from committing suicide. For most people, the goal is love or happiness or acceptance and, in my case, my goal is being one of the best at what I like. I'll never reach it like those around me do, but chasing it is fine enough for me. The thing is is that lately I feel as if the faster I run, the more I'm lagging behind.

And so e .... Fine, I admit, I'm not trying to make any point here, I just had to post this pure random 100% bitching entry >.< ( I bet you've had enough of the philosophical bullshit XD ~ which is actually not mine, but draws on the work of Camus ) I am a spoiled brat who hates being told that her work sucks ... but I try to get better. ( man, that was one long bitching post XD )

I love Shippuden! Dei~chan looks better than ever in the series.
Goal: Make a decent fanart of Deidara. And maybe Orochimaru.

Screaming and rock all the way!!! XD The calm audience suddenly jumps from their seats and some spill their drinks on the floor. The movie must be violent and therefore involve crime, blood, murder and stuff, people think. And the ending must be especially gruesome... Let's find out.

The movie suddenly goes from totally american to asian and the audience is somewhat O__o. The heroine prolly goes to Asia and gets drunk with her buds and finds a nice asian guy {jrockerrr ^_^}. The rock mood goes somewhat optimistic but it's still rock and people have a hard time sleeping. Scene is so romantic too ...

Sex Scene: {A Perfect Circle ~ Judith}

A lot of symbolism to the song. The lovers f*ck over and over in a loud rock and steaming atmosphere while having religious debates and cursing their gods. "F*ck your Lord, your Christ". Mmmm ... masochism, blind faith, self sacrifice, yeap, a lot of ideas in the heads of the two. Audience has headaches. Again, this goes totally american.

Breaking Up: {Three Doors Down ~ Kryptonite}

Rock wih a loud chorus. Seems the heroine handles the break up well even though he goes through a lot of stuff after some disasters "I watched the world fall to the dark side of the moon". He wants to protect her but presumes something bad will happen. "I'll be your superman ... kryptonite." This is not going well.

Life's OK: {30 Seconds to Mars ~ The Fantasy}

The heroine is in her own world and "no longer living just a shell of what I do." This is totally wrong. Loud rock and screaming and even more screaming. It seems I ... erm, the heroine is on drugs or alcohol and steals money to get herself high. Well, life's ... ok ... O___o Totally freaky XDD This story is totally fucked up XD. Old people in the audience have long since left after cursing the story.

Mental Breakdown: {Shinedown ~ Crying out}

People in the audinece regret not buying earplugs. "Reinvent yourself, reinvent your world!!! Crying out for the last time." Really, the heroine is one weird fuck ;. She is happy when she should be sad and vice versa. She has just gone to rehab and is already screaming for freedom " You've got to let go all the madness you carry". She may have fallen in love with some hot guy she met at rehab. Incredibly energetic song that preceeds freedom.

Driving: {Plastic Tree ~ Melancholic}

Asian again. Therefooore, she goes to Japan again. After being an ass and getting drunk and drugged, she wants to be reunited with her asian jrocker. Melancholic punk ish jrock. Confusing eh? She embraces the cleansing rain as tears fill her face while driving aroud the east coast. Aaaaw, how touching.

Final Battle: {My Chemical Romance ~ Helena}

This came too early!! Her rocker dies from the start. She goes really emo and on top of that, must face her mortal enemy who killed her guy. Heroine is broken and can barely fight. Actually, she is crying all the time thinking this is the death scene and her enemy beats the crap out of her. This is really bloody ... but emotional and the audience is in tears already.

4. i have to get up at seveeeen, every morning , that suuucks, i assure you i will fall asleep in class this year. coffee rulz! it keeps me awake during class. Hee hee.

5. I am hooked! Advent Children and Last Order were even more amazing than i thought. Awesome soundtrack. Very good theme. Special effects. Bisies! I have no idea Who to pick... Kuraudo... Yazoo.... Kadaj or Sephiroth .... decisions decisions. Well now i know i like Shikamaru! Tee Hee, i never realized Shika had this sexy voice.

6. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and there can be only one." Or sth like that. I saw the CN Naruto commercial, Commercial. english and japaneese should never be mixed. Anyway I quit watching Naruto hahahaha ... O_O ... yeah is becoming boring and i wanna watch alll the next 25 eps in one night so i can ... revive the passion.

7. All you girls should read "The Vampire Chronicles", i read some of the books Lestat is a kinky bastard! You have no dea what he does in those books. And i mean ... hesjust an amazing character, weird but the weirdness add to the art. Ok ... im not giving quotes ... nope, there are minors here

8. My yaoi collection is increasing. I just recently discovered Pirates of the Carribean doujinshis, lotr and hp doujinshis? Why would Sirius wanna bang harry? And why would Sephiroth wanna bang cloud? O_____O However, there are many awesome yaois out there, just ask me if you need direct dld links.

9. I will buy a ps3 i swear i WILL buy one next year i must. Even if i have to work at this age, get a part time job, i will.

LMAO! i have seen a lot of animes but i had yet to see one with romanian being spoken in it, until today. The anime was Trinity Blood (a very cool series), episode 11, where this girl, Odessa, tries really hard to speak romanian. She says "tovarash" okay, but wtf, we have the word "partener" why does she have to complicate herself with old stuff. Anyway, it was so fun to watch her swearing, yelling stuff like "Farima! Tau cap dovleac ha!" like wtf, what the hell does that mean??!!!Umm ... "cap" is head, "dovleac" is pumpkin, but I can't make out the rest, and the grammar is totally butchered. But it was damn funny, anyway.

Other shit, the server hosting my website has been out cold for days now. Gwaddammit, die damn bitches@@!!! a .com domain name is $11 per year, I think it's a pretty good deal, is it not? I hope to buy one when I get the money. Then I'll be hosting it for free, or at least that is my aim, I found a free domain hosting website, but im still checking to see if their servers crash a lot.

Tanuki-Container, is a very nice and friendly girl, I just had to mention her in this entry. She's my first buddy on DA. ^_^

i dont know what else to say. I've come to terms with the fact that i'm a chocolate addict. I don't know if i could survive a week without my bishies and my chocolate. And I think I'm getting the coffee addiction too. One year ago, a glass could get me hyper, now it barely makes a difference. Cigarettes get me a little hyper now.

I think this is the place on the web I can mostly let myself go. but anyway, im so self-loving, im proud of my latest work, i wanted to do a graveyard wall and i love agels, so beautiful, im almost a fan of renaissance angel paintings. im also a fan of lucifer, as in the- beautiful-fallen-angel-lucifer.
