Okay, so aside from not doing a lot of drawing, the main reason I haven't been on alot is because of this stupid virus that keeps trying to get on my computer when I go on DA. It happens most often while I'm looking through deviations and messages. The window will get minimized and a small screen will pop up saying I've got malicious software or someshit on my computer and that a free personal windows scanner can help get rid of it.

I know this scan is a fake because no matter what button I click, its starts a "scan", which I immediately closed it the first time because scans wouldn't open up in internet explorer. After that when the message pops up I have to manually end task to keep it from popping up the fake scan. Now it's gotten so bad that I can only look at my deviations for about 10 secs before that window pops up again, stopping me from continuing. I also wonder it this has any relations to why people haven't been notified of certain deviations from other artists. Or if anyone else it suffering this same problem and if they know how to stop it.

Although I had problems with Firefox before, it may be the only thing I can use at the moment. Also, if you've put a deviation or a comment, and are waiting for a reply from me, I may not have seen it yet.

Both must be PICTURES, drawings or otherwise, but no written-description-only stuff. It doesn't have to be colored, but that can still add bonus points.

First Contest- Design Biuldings!!

I suck at designs for biuldings. Thus I'm seeing who out there is good at it. So here are the rules: I will make a list of the biuldings in the game. Draw designs for as many of the biulding as you can, if you can do all of them that'd be sweet and earn major points. Here is the list of biuldings with descriptions to give ideas on what they do. If you know alot about RTS then you should understand what I'm going for. Remember, these are biuldings on a moon, so try to make them look sci-fi-y. The names are not final, just to give an idea of what they are:

Main Base: This is where you biuld Lunar Workers, and a drop off point for rescources. Can be upgraded twice (means their are 3 designs total)

Upgrade Facility- This is where you buy various upgrades which include attack, health, speed and whatnot. Think BlackSmith. But on a Moon.

House- Probably not a real house, but I can't think of what else to call it. Provides population, allowing you to biuld more units (A farm basically)

Skill Facility- Upgrades various skills and such. Also needed to train Streamers. (Think Labratory)

Hospital- Heals units garrisoned inside (so you need a door) and trains Deflators.

Barracks- Trains Fawns, Troopers, Sumos, Rollers, and Streamers.

Mess Hall- Needed to train Sumos and Rollers.

Beacon Towers- scout towers that warn on enemies approching. No weapons.

Outpost- Looks like a big radar biulding. Trains Reconoiterrs and Operators.

Advanced Weapons Facility- Trains Generals.

Okay thats all the biuldings, so show me what you guys can come up with. Prizes are show at the bottom of the Journal.

Second Contest- Interface Design.

Design an interface for the game. If you don't know what that is, its like the control pannel in any RTS, like Starcraft, where has all the buttons for commands and info and such. When designing it, try to imagine the game playing. Here is what the Interface needs to include:

A Mini-map. You should know what that is.

Veiw Screen. Its where all the action happens. It needs to be square.

Unit Status area, which itself must include: HP as a number, can include a bar and curret/max number, but it must be a number. Mp, which can be a bar OR a number. Remember both an HP and MP bar appear on the units themselves aswell, so you may not need a bar. Attack Power (Number), Range (short,long,etc), and Speed (slow, fast,etc), as well as an area for status ailment (inflated, flattened, really inflated, etc)

9 Button slots. This includes the attack, move, and stop buttons, but they only appear when a unit is selected. Buildings will just show what stufff it can do (units, research,etc). I may not need 9 buttons but I'm throwing that in there just to be safe.

A spot for resource and food count. Food must show current used and max food. Theres only one type of resource.

Hooray, now that yer done reading all that crap, its time for the prizes. Aside from most likely having yer stuff used in the game, you'll also get an immediate request from me, which can include up to three pages whether they single pics, or comics. This includes ONE prize for EACH contest. If you win both, then bully for you, you get 2 requests. If I really like something someone does, but don't declare them the winner, I may do a small request for them too. And obviously, you get mentioned in the game credits. I hope people will actually do these contests. For now the Due date is in one month, June 4th, 2009. If I don't get many entries I may extend it. |Shinsa| Standard Special- Psi Slash: Charges then lift any targets in front of her into the air and slashes them. Hits destructable items too.
Up Special- Psi Float: Allows her to float around for a short period of time.
Side Special- Wave Burst: Flips tail and fire a wave of water that pushes units away.
Down Special- Chemistry- pulls out a random potion that can be thrown. Effect vary depending on the color of the potion.
Final Smash- Mind Storm- storm clouds appear above the stage and shoot lightning bolts randomly (but never in the same spot)

|Trista| Standard Special- Body Switch- Charges while you aim for a target, then switch bodies temporarily. If you miss, Trista becomes briefly stunned.
Up Special- Minor Freak Out- Leaps up wards and grabs opponent. She can then throw them in midair.
Side Special- Bum Rush- Dashes forward while flailing her arms in a panic. (think luigi's dash attack)
Down Special- Repetitive Stomp- smashes a nearby opponent into the ground (walugi's assist move)
Final Smash- Mass Body Switch- Press the special button during a certain time period to randomly switch bodies with someone. Keep pressing it to keep switching. It's possible for other players to not end up as either Trista or their original bodies. Everyone turns back to normal after enough time expires.

|Shinichi| Standard Special- Vine Grab: lauches a vine out and grabs an opponent (long range grab).
Up Special- Stretch: Pauses then stretches in an aimed direction. Useful for grabbing edges, and can be used to attack players.
Side Special- Entangle: Grabs and opponent and squeezes them, dealing damage but don't cause them to fly off.
Down Special- Submerge: Ducks into the ground and appears in the direction you aim. Like meta knights cloak move, but if used on a platform, she will just go under it really quick.
Final Smash- Giant Growth: Shinichi submerges into the ground and pops in the background as a giant from the bottom of the screen, with vines following. The vines will will around and try to snatch opponents. If a person is grabbed, they must press the attack button rapidly, or they get eaten. If they succeed, they are simply let go and the vine is stunned for a moment. Eatened people will immediately lose a life, and restore some of Shinichi's health. The more damage an opponant has, the harder it is to break from the vine. The player controlling Shinichi can also press the special button rapidly cause the vines to snatch more often.

|Babel| Standard Special- Fireball: Launches a fireball straight forward.
Up Special- Take Flight: Essentially like Pit's up special.
Side Special- Regression Hold: grabs an opponent and turns them into a child. Regressed opponents are smaller, can't use specials and have less attack.
Down Special- Air Dive: Leaps into air and dive bombs back down. If already in the air, just dive bombs down.
Final Smash- Demon Form: Babel becomes bigger, she can fly, she can should double the fireballs which are bigger, and she can shoot regression lazers.

|Kenshi| Standard Special- Copy Cat: Anytime Kenshi touches an opponent or is touched BY an opponent, she gains their standard special for breif period of time. She uses the special of whoever touched her last. It is reset when she is hit off.
Up Special- Cresent Jump: Flips in the air, leaving a moon shape behind. No attack.
Side Special- Throw Food- throws random food at opponents to deal damage. She may also rarely throw consumable food.
Down Special- Consume: Inhales all nearby items to heal herself. If the item is flammable or explosive, she pauses, then shoots a flame out of her mouth in front of her, dealing damage to herself, but more to anyone she hits.
Final Smash- Night Shadow: The arena becomes dark and Kenshi becomes a moving shadow that deals damage as she passes opponents. (Like pikachu or sonics FS)

|Angela| Standard Special- Sun Flare: Like fire ball, but it shoots a beam of light. Shorter range, more attack.
Up Special- Take Flight- Same as Babel's.

Yeah I haven't done any of these yet, so I might as well try one. If you don't care, then don't bother reading further.

WARNING!! WARNING!!! THERE ARE SPOILERS APPROACHING!! TURN BACK IF YOU DON'T WANT STUFF REVEALED!!!

And be warned. It's A LOOONG review... if you wanna see my overall rating, just go to the bottom.

Ok so where to begin. I'm a big fan of RTS's, seeing as they are my favorite kind of game. Ever since I first played Dune 2, which I believe was the first of any real RTS. I think, I'm not positive.

Most RTS's are on computer and for good reason. Usually its all down to the controls, as a mouse is just easier than a joystick. Not to mention a key board offer more buttons and hotkeys, thus more effeciant control. I'm a big fan of Starcraft (SC2 FTW!!!), but Starcraft 64 was shit.

So Microsoft DARED to try their hand at a console RTS. And it actually works. Selecting units is easy enough with using the bumpers to select units on screen or across the map. Base layout is simplistic but managable while being effective.

...but that still doesn't means its fantastic...

The only problem I have with bases is that if the main biulding gets killed, the whole base goes with it. Fortunately they made that building tough to kill. You don't mine for resources, though you can collect them via crates, but the main source is supply depots and the like. Money trickles in at a slow pace, but as you get more supply depots, the faster that trickle becomes. Battle is fast paced and attacking is simple enough. Many units can actually attack WHILE moving so you can just move yer units next to the enemy and they engage once in range rather than having to target units indivually.

But now comes the balance. It's supposed to be like rock paper scissors. Here the BASIS of what they were going for:
Vehichle beats Infantry
Air beat Vehichle
Infantry beats Air

.... this however is total crap. We'll start with the Humans. They have Marines, which are good against weak air units, Flame throwers that are good vs other infantry and nothing else, and Spartans, which are average to everything, but can take over vehichles (friend and foe). And thats the infantry.... well, only ONE of the those is actually any good vs air.

Now come the Vehichles. Scorpions are good vs infantry and vehicles but suck vs air. Cobras are like seige tanks from SC, good against anything cept air. And the Wolverine is good against Air and infantry. So human vehicals are infact good against infantry, one and all.

Then comes the air. Hornets are in fact good agianst vehichles, and weaker against marines. Vulures however are good against anything. And if you use Anders as yer commander and upgrade the Hornets into the Hawks, you have the best unit in the game, and an ensured win, especially if yer fighting Covenant.

Speaking of the Covenant, they complety throw out the rock paper scissors thing. Their infantry is specialized. Grunts are meant for air (once they get needlers), Jackles are snipers meant for infantry, and Hunters are meant for vehicles...and infantry.

Vehicles, I got no idea... Ghosts aren't really special against anything, they're just fast and agile, able to dodge even some scorpion shots. Really, they're just an annoyance. Wraiths are decent against both infantry and vehichiles, but nothing compared to the scorpion. And then theres Locusts, which are meant to be for biuldings, but their long range lazer attack slowly drains health from anything equally. Not good against infantry because of their usual numbers. Takes too long to do damage. If yer gonna have locusts, either have ALOT of some support unit of somekind. Not really any for of rock paper scissors there.

Finally, we have Convenant air. First is the Mechanic. I know, it's odd to hear something called a mechanic turn out to be an air unit. But thats essentially what it is, a flying healer that heals all unit types and its the only non specialize healing unit in the game. You'll need these if you want to heal with the Covenant. Then you have the Banshee. Essntially like the Hornet save for the upgrades. Then finally you have to Vampire, which focuses on other air units. Not terrible if it can use its stasis ability, but if you get out numbered, even by a few other air units, these guys will lose. Decent against vulture, but thier stasis only works if you get like 3 of them using it on ONE vulture.

So, its not really a rock paper scissors so much as its a bunch of specialized units. This isn't a bad thing, but don't go thing because you have a shit load of grunts, yer gonna kick the shit out of the human air fleet. Cuz you WONT. This is where the balance becomes off, the Convenant have no really good anti air units. They have to rely too much on anti air turrets for that. Ok, seriously, WHAT THE !@^* is will all the sudden new spam? I mean I know spammers have been around and do stuff, but they just hit a new wave of MASS spam. Two days ago I got a message telling me I was on someones blog, with a link to said "blog". Yeah, I didn't buy it, so I messaged the "sender" to ask if they really sent it. Turns out, no they did not. Another hacker victum. But yesterday I got two more, and today I got FIVE and its only 6 oclock pm. And I assume I'll get more. I also assume other people have been getting hit for a while.

Point is, looks like the spammers have a newer system going around, and what ever you do, DO NOT click on the link they send you, UNLESS you ask the "sender" if they actually sent it, which, chances are, they had no idea.

I'd rather click messages like this as spam, but I'm afraid that would make DA think I'm spaming the person, and therefor they may punish the wrong person. Either, this'll probably pass, but I'm just gettin to word out to the none-so-wise.

Do not click on any links in messages saying "This person wrote something about you in there blog" or whatever.

This is a politic talk. If you don't want to talk politics, then don't bother going father. But I do give what I believe is an interesting point.

So how does everyone think Obama is doing as our first African American President so far? Got his first bill past, and had no problem calling the greedy fucks in wall street "Shameful"

But something bugs me. People keep clamouring that Obama is the first African American President. But was the guy not born in America? Was he not raised in America? He sounds to me like a pure American.

Though people will argue, saying his heritage is African. But doesn't his heritage also include a white and irish background? If thats the case, why aren't we calling him the first, White-Irish-African-American President?

Because of the color of his SKIN. We are no less rascist colorwise than we were in the colonial days. History will forever remember him as being our first BLACK President. We may be more positive in our racism now-a-days, such as noticing a race of people have come a long way, but we still can't seem to accept the idea that people's skin color means absolutly NOTHING.

As far as I'm concerned, he's an American, he's the 44th President, and hopefully a damn good one.

So, first off, I had a dream that I thought was funny and wanted to see if anyone is able/willing to make it possible. In this dream I just downloaded a "Mortal Kombat 2" game on the Wii, but it was a "modern" MK2. I basically had like 50 people from who knows where. Anyway, so, my dream skips ahead and I'm watching a match between Kitana (of course) and for some reason, The female republican vise presidential candidate, Palin. The fight shortly ended and FINISH HER!! popped up and Kitana did her oh-so-famous kiss of death on Palin, who proceeded to inflate. But when she exploded, instead of blood and guts, money flew everywhere, and like that face that would pop up and say "WHOOPIE", Mc Cain's face popped up, but instead made that Darth Vader "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" voice. I then was scrolling through the characters list (noticing they were ALL females) and then I woke up. I can't remember who I saw in the list, but I thought about the rest of that dream and thought "I wish I make a video like that".

But I can't. However, I know somepeople can, as I've see sudo-fighter videos before, so if ANY of you are able/willing to do this, by all means, it'd be funny ^^

And this isn't a political point, it's just funny.

Second random crap thing, Mega Man 9 is funny as hell. It is a SPOT ON representation of the old crap.

Third shpeal, CHARACTER BIOS COMING SOOOOON!!!! I'm not going to be able to finish the story and I'm tired of so much being unknown of my demigirl, so that bios will make good references as well as inside info on yer favorite demigirl and who they are and why they are that way.

Forth, still working on the Myra&Tyra Smash Sisters Bio, but as I've looked at the move set I've given them, I've decided I didn't like one of the moves. So, I'll give the names of her moves and a little description, and maybe you all will have some idea (Assuming you made it this far in the journal).

(Special) Shrink bite- bites a target and shrinks it, but not as long as a poison mushroom. Does little damage.
(Up Special) This is the one I need help with. It can help save her, or it can attack, or do both, or anything else you can think of.
(Side Special) Growth bite- causes target to grow, but not as long as a mushroom. Does major damage.
(Down Special) Double attack- lauch attacks on both sides.
(Final Smash) Snack time!- Everyone save user shrinks. If user grabs a shrunk oppoent, they eat them for an instant KO and a little regained health. Not as easy as it sounds, and it only lasts a short time. Yer lucky/skilled if you manage to eat all three.

And finally, and this comes with some bad news, I won't be able to really FINISH the WG CONTEST series. I'll need to wrap it all up in the next 1 or 2 pics, but it's just taking too long. And I'm pending on wether I'm still going to a "second part" to 12345td's comic, which we were calling an art trade, but it's not a good time for comics right now, nor will it be all siemester. And by then, it'd be way late. Again, nothing final, but it may turn out this way T-T. Apologies to both FireballKoopa and 12345td.

So DA just deleted my famous "Snake Vore Party" pic, saying that it was because the girls in it were underage.

I know they've been working on this policy for a while now, and I won't blame them. But honestly, that pics been on here for well over a year, possibly two, and they just NOW notice it?

Also, whats the point of a mature filter if they delete the mature stuff? It's called age progression, so the characters in my pic WERE actually of age, but seeing as the characters they are based on are not, the pic was removed. Again, I can see why they would do this, but again, why bother with a mature filter at all?

Even more so is the responses. They are more explanatory than before, but why don't they allow people to respond to said messages instead of just telling them to go to the ever-so-useless help desk? Be alot more helpful...

Anyway, as for updates on my projects, I've actually got a lot worked on, but everything keeps getting put on hold. So if you think I havent worked on stuff I said I was doing, I actually have, and will show that the next time I do a list update.

Pools finaly done. My parent's back yard looks incredible. Unfortunately I start school next week so I won't have much to fully enjoy it, but lucky for me, my classes are in the morning ^^ And I get to share 1/3 of them with my sweetheart ^^

Anyway, I've still got some stuff to finish up, but I just wanted to get rid of that last journal. For those of you still wondering, my mood has uplifted over that past couple of week. My birthday was two days ago, my brother made be an awesome meal for it, got to go see WallE with my sweetie, and I got lots of candy and heroscape stuffs ^^. The fact that I got my animation that I worked on for so long finally got put it, I am very happy now. And other people have been supportive and I've gotten some really good deals with the art trades (look below for the people who have completed theirs and check them out)

So not only haven't I been able to work on crap lately, turns out I missed the final round of Transformation Idol 4. I'd done really good up to this point, but I just couldn't finish the entry in time. I'd like to apologize to everyone else involved in the contest, especially to because it was his character I was supposed to do.

But I'm going to do the entry anyway, even if it's not going to count for TFI4. It'll still take some time, but I'm going to get the thing done.

On another no-less-crappy note, I finally finished Trista VS Nyu part 2..... so why is that crap you ask? Because I can't UPLOAD IT!! Remember the glich I mentioned before, where it won't load until you click submit? Well, it asked for a preview pic, and does the same thing. But even after it show the pic is LOADED, it says it doesn't have the preveiw pic, and I can't upload till I get a preview pic, and I can't do that till DA fixes the damn glich.

Who the hell do I contact with this problem anyway? I got to FAQs and Help desk and all that, but it's so crowded and confuzzling, I can't see a "Got a Problem? Email here" thing. And of course, they have help on every that you DONT need...

Really, I'm just having a tuff time with DA stuff right now T-T. Real lifes kicking ass, but DA is just making it hard to deal with right now. Hopefully you'll see some art from me soon, and the entry I'm promising.

So as expected, there are always bugs with new versions of stuff. I honestly don't care about V6, it looks nicer, but the new message center is crap. Plus I don't care about doing all the CUSTOMIZATION crap they claim.

Anyway, onto the glich. Everytime I try to submit a new deviation, when I load the image/file, it never finishes. However, if I click submit, it will say "you need to upload a deviation", and the pic will now be loaded, to which I just click submit again and it works fine. Not the worst glich as it easy to get around, but I can never tell when my pic is ACTUALLY done uploading. I just have to give it time and hope it's done after I do my comment and word search and all that crap.

Anyway, still no more requests, and I've crossed a few off my list that I'm just not doing. I'll put up a new list eventually so DO NOT start messaging me asking if I'm still doing yer request. There are just certain pics that didn't hold my interest, or ones that it'd be too late to do them now. This goes for some personal pics I was working on as well.

On the plus side....um.... well okay theres not much of a plus side, but hopefully there will be soon. So here's the happy eyes ^^

Okay so many of you may have noticed the severe lack of crap I've been putting out. With that said it's becoming a little hard to keep up with new requests as I'm having issues dealing still with the old ones. Thus I'm not excepting anymore requests. Which kinda sucks, cuz you never know when someone has a really GOOD idea.

After I get done with the requests I'm going to have a bit smaller and more limited way I'll do requests.

And on something completely unrelated, I've noticed several artists that I've watch for a while have improved while others are still a little behind. While I can fully understand people have their own styles, there are ways to make them better and still be unique. Thus I shall open myself up as a...


... critiquer (cri*teek*er) yes I'm pretty sure I just made that word up.

So here's the idea. You ask me if I think yer art is good or where it needs improvement. I will never be biased in my critiquing and there is no saying you HAVE to listen to me. I will take a look at yer old art VS yer newer art. And it's not the same if the newer art is only 2 weeks younger than the old art, even if there IS improvement. I like to analyze long term changes ^^

I will also never point out anyone unless they want me to. It may not sound like the most appealing idea to have someone critique yer art in such a way. Some of you may think "I know my art is crap, I don't need him telling me that". I'm saying it now then...

NO art is crap, just different ^^

Still feeling a little anxiety left over from finals, which is why I haven't posted much for a while. I'll probably spend my time playing games to shrug it off. I thought "hey after finals are over, I'll have plenty of time to draw!!".... well right now, I don't feel like even picking up a pencil... but I should soon ^^

So first off, if you've had one of those dreams where you feel like yer watching a TV show or movie, but the main character is you, like yer watching yerself in thirdperson, then you'll know the mood it felt like. And be wary, I'm pretty well know for bizzare shit in my dreams.

Now the dream starts with me, in the bathroom, taking a piss while standing up (great imagery I know). Well, while I'm taking my piss, I look down in the bowl, and there's this black cepter like thing with the head of a horse on its top, like one of the toys you play with when yer little, only it was black and made of what looked like onyx. And the horse part looked like a chess piece. After seeing this, it was as if, I already knew PRECISELY what it was.

As the legend (the one that I knew without knowing) goes, if this cept appears in your bowl and you grasp it (please no jokes), it's starts a puzzle or spell. You have 64 hours to place this ceptor in a specific spot in the world, or else the ceptor'll kill some random person, then vanishes. After you make it to the spot, the 64 hours reset and you must take it to the next spot. So what would happen if you take it to all the spots? I got no !@#$ing clue. Honestly, I know that if I grab it, people may die (or at least one) and have no clue what happens if I succeed. Again, all this just popped in my head as if it were awakened knowledge.

Anyway, so how do I know all this? Because apparently this happened to my brother years ago (not for real ofcourse, only in the dream) and he failed. No clue who died, I just know he didn't succeed. So I grab the ceptor. Why? HOW THE !@#$ SHOULD I KNOW?!?! Anyway, I then take the ceptor outside and know exactly how to use it, after all, my brother did. You plant the ceptor in the ground. On top, theres a compass that points in the direction of the place you need to go. There are two triggers, one on top and one on the right side. On the back, there's a glass veiwing hole. Hold both triggers down and look through hole. You are then given a vision that hints to the spot. My clue showed a barren hillside. Then a huge meteor came down and blew up. I said to myself "Arizona!" since that was the place I think the comet that hit Earth oh so many years ago landed. Anyway, so with the help of my Dad and brother, we got on a plane to arizona. Got pretty hazy after that.

So, now, it's like an episode of a TV show ending and then playing the next episode (I must of the DVD or something). Now I'm watching what looks like the themesong video. Can't make out the song, but I distinctly remember the shows starts off looking at a toilet and camera swirls around it. The toilet flushes then the camera zooms in and heads straight down into swirling vortex of water (relax, it's clean). And as the screen shows the vortex, in the middle, that ceptor fades in, then theres a flash, and you see the title screen. Not a clue what it says, I don't even think it was japanese, especially since I can't read japanese.

Anyway, anymore than that is too hazy to remember but alot of you are probably to busy being wierded or grossed out, or laughing yer asses off, so I'll end my tale there. Again, go no idea where any of this came from, but I'd love to an interpretation from a dream reader...

Perhaps I'll epxlain some of my other wierd ass dreams at some point... untill then...um... bye?

Now I got another problem, though not as bad. In photoshop, I use the brush tool alot. But I don't know what I did, but now when I hold down the button to draw, it doesn't color. I have to repeated push the button to get it to color to the color I want. Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? If so, tell me what I did wrong... please...

And as many of you noticed I came up with the next page in the "Biggest Gainer" series. Don't get excited, it doesn't mean I'm starting it again, it just means I finally got the pages I'd ALREADY did done and now I have nothing of any of the later pages. I'll still get the thing done, but next week is the actual start of finals. Finally all this studying will be put to use...

Also, theres some douchebag whose been calling allota people pedofiles and what not. If he don't shut up, yer ok'd by me to give him a sound flaming...

So windows came out with a new update, which is updated automatically of course. Well, my Espon scanner and Vista never got along real well. Turn out, when we first got Vista the scanner would no longer work, so we had to go on to the epson websight and get an update to allow the scanner to work with Vista.

Now, my scanners not working. My mom tried all she could, then sent an email to epson to find out the problem, but her theory is, this new update for Vista did something the scanner doesn't like, and that we may have to wait for Epson to come out with an update of their own to counter Vista's update.

Why is this so crap? Because I'm approaching my 500k milestone (less than 11k away) and I finally figured out what pic to make. I drew it, inked, and was all ready to scan. And then all this shit happened, possibly make me delayed for a while so I can put up my damn pic. This pic is important for me, its half a frickin Mill for crying out loud, kinda a proud moment, and I can't do shit about it...

Did I mention how much I @#$%ING HATE Vista!!!!

EDIT- I'm having scanner problems right now, my mom and dad got a new compooter, but it came with Vista, which after using it for 3 hours my mom declared it a tool of satan. As such, our scanner didn't want to work on it, so my mom spent all day trying to fix it. Eventually she got it to work, but I can't use it right now as it's still being a little crap box. We REALLY do hate Vista and I know we ain't alone...

EDIT2- Scanners up and I finally got some stuff submitted that's newer. Vista is still crap. My parents cant even turn off their computer cuz Vista keep running an update when they shut it off, but it never finishes. We've left it on for more than 6 hours and it never finishes. We just say @#$% it and turn it off manually. It's not good for it, but that's how it'll be till we fix it.

So now I'm going to ask for idea for races. Only this might seem slightly limited. Here's what I got so far.

Humans
Elves
Orcs
Winglings
Nekos

Doesn't seem like much does it? Well I know there are plenty more, but heres the thing. The humans are the base for the design of each race, the others simply have a simplistic feature that makes them look SLIGHTLY different. Example:

Humans look like normal humans.
Elves look like them as well, but with pointy ears.
Orcs, same but with green skin.
Wingling have wings.
Nekos have a tail and cat ears. I made this one while typing this infact.

Whilst I think 5 would do fine, I figured I'd ask if any one else might think of a nice race. Remember, they are basically humanoids, and no nagas, sorry they need legs...

But no, most of my materials needed for several pics were at my house, and further more, school work has been all over me. I'm glad I'm getting it done, but it's draining my drawing arm, to where I don't even want to pick up a pencil. Plus my brothers house does get much lighting, and well all sorts of crap.

And I still have school work to do, but hopefully I can get it done and work on some stuff.

On a plus side, I've been working alot on my "Choose Paths" story (for those who don't know, it's a choose-yer-own-adventure style story) and even found a simple website to host it on. I'm going to put up a unfinished version, cuz I'm still no where NEAR finishing, but I have plenty of stuff to post, so hopefully it should still be enjoyable.

I'm not going to bother with putting up the to-do-list, not much has changed, if anything...

So until I can get my compe back online, I won't be able to submit much. On the plus side, I've been drawing all day, got 6 pics drawn and inked. But I need to scan them then email them to my comp where I can color them, then put them online. But until my comp can get back online, they remain coloress...

And why do I feel like this college semester is going to hate me? First my mom goes away for the first week, I have to look after my bro's house the next week, our interent goes crap right before school starts, and I'm taking six classes for the first time (I usually take 4).

Oh and like everyone knows, Brawl was delayed till March 9th. Upsides and downsides abound.
Upsides- It won't interfere with my early portion of school, which is the most important. Second, maybe they'll be able to work out those bugs they were having problems with.

Downsides- GAWD DAMMIT!!! WE WANNA PLAY!!!!

Also Dig Dug Wars is gone. Didn't last long did it? Might bring it back, but in a better format, like an online game or something. As soon as I figure out how to make one.

Been experimenting with my Inflation RTS character looks, and sprites they may use. If I could learn how to make a flash game, I'd do that, but I don't even know how to do flash ANYTHING.

On a positive note, I am pretty sure I aced all my finals. Which not only mean the start of my vacation, but that it begins on a positve note ^^

Don't expect any art for a while though. I need to work on the contest things and I'm still going to be busy with stuff for a bit.

SO..... uh.... yeah.... been playing my PSP a bit lately... final beat Twisted Metal HO... only had it for more than a year... I got all the way to the final boss but got so pissed cuz he was damn near impossible, so I stopped playing and didn't go back. Now that I know HOW to beat the !@#$er, I've been beating the game with all the drivers, unlocking their endings.

Ok so there are a few newer rules that some of you know and others don't, I believe I added them to the other journal, but for those who haven't read it since, here are some new rules.

Pooka's special warp- Now there's no wait time, pooka can warp up tp 3 spaces away, but they skip the spaces in between, so they won't see anything on the spaces they don't land on. And it doens't have to be a straight line, you could go up, right, then up again.

Dragon's special- still the same thing, but everytime I show a view of the map online (bout once a week), the dragon's torch ability will be inactive for one day. Only seems fair, so people don't torch others before the others even have a chance to react.

Letters on the grid go vertical, numbers are horizontal. Basically, if you go from G6 to F6, yer going UP!

There are random monsters incase you hadn't noticed. There stats are as followed.
Pooka: 13 life 3 attack 3 defense
Dragon: 10 Life 5 attack 2 defense

Neither units have special, and only earn you 25 EXP for beating them. Engagements with them are not optional, (like shotgun weddings....ahem...) and if you encounter one, you automatically will fight them. There will always be 8 pookas and 5 dragons walking around the map. At 12 noon everyday (or at least I'll try) I can move them all one space each. So YOU may be the one attacked. At 12 midnight (assuming I stay up that long) I respawn all the ones that have been destroyed. I will not place them adjacent or on a space with a player.

As for battle that end in draws, I liked a couple of the ideas people had. So I believe a sudden death is in order. I roll 6 dice for each, and whoever rolls the most symbols wins the fight. If they tie again, I just reroll. However, before they enter sudden death, I'll note them both asking if they wish to enter sudden death. If neither say yes, then the battle is over, and neither side gets EXP. The players may now go their seperate ways, and may not attack each other again until they've moved a few times or something.

Now incase I wasn't clear about the amount of experience needed to level up, it goes like this. +100 to total amount needed each level

EX: 100, 300, 600, 1000...

On the status, you'll see your TOTAL EXP, so when you level up, yer EXP doesn't go back down to 0, it stays whatever number you have.

Only ONE unit per person!!

Yer healed after every battle!

Round 1 will end sooner than normal. I'm going on a trip in less than two weeks, so I'll end the round before I leave and start a new one when I come back. It's okay, we'll think of this as a test round. If you want to join or have been defeated, you can join in again at anytime before the round is over. There won't be a time limit for Round 1.

In a recent fight however, on the final attack, the attacker rolled two specials, and one skull, while the defender rolled only a single special.

This would mean, the the attacker receives 1 wound and the defender receives 3.

Their life before the attack was Attacker 1 Defender 4. So the attack actually popped the attacker, and the defender survived with only 1 life.

But this brought a question to my mind. What if the attack had rolled ONE more skull, dealing 4 damage instead of 3? They'd both reach 0 life, and both would pop... so do they both lose?

My question is this. What should we do in this situation? SHOULD we pop them both and no one wins, or should we think of something else. A simple reroll might seem unfair.

So here's how it works. Rules a fairly simple, you just need to pay attention to them. It's a text-based grid war game. I have a big 8x8 grid drawn out. Each square is a spaced, defined by a letter and a number, like A-6 or C-8, with the letter being A-H and the number being 1-8. The grid will start off fairly small right now, but depending on how many people we get playing, it may grow into something bigger.

The grid will look something more or less like this:

Only it will have squares, not blank areas. Again the grid goes from
A-H and 1-8.

All actions in this game will be done through NOTING ME!!! Do NOT say yer actions on the comments, NOTE ME, so they stay secret (save for me ofcourse.)

Here's how it's played. There will be three units you can choose from, Dig Dug, Pooka, and Dragon. Each has it's own stats and specials that will be explained later. You NOTE me with the character you chose, then tell me the space you want to start on.

Example: "I choose Dig Dug and I want to start on B-4"

You are then placed on the grid. After you are placed, I note you telling you you are in the game and ask you what you want yer action to be. You may either move in a direction, such as up, down, left, or right (you may not move diagonal), again NOTE ME!!! If allowed, you may also use a special, but those will be explained later. You may only move one space at a time.

I then move you and note you again, asking yer next action. Since I know I'm going to receive ALOT of notes, please title the note DIG DUG WARS or something

like that. So, you keep moving till something happens. The only way you can move again is when I contact you. So some people, depending on how often I'm on, may move alot, while other's not so much. It sucks, but if I did daily movements the game will take forever.

ENCOUTERS AND ENGAGEMENTS!!!

So if you should ever move onto a space occupied by another unit, you get an ENCOUNTER!! Again I'll note you, and if it's another player, both of you. I will then ask if either play wishes to engage. If EITHER of the players say yes, a battle commences. Neither player will actually do anything at this point. I will be the one doing the fighting and I will reply to both players with the results. If both reject, then they can both move. Only one of you will survive the fight.... So I shall explain how battle works.

Each player will have a set amount of life, attack, and defense. Life is how many hits you can take, attack is how many hits you can deal, and defense is how many hits you can block. If your life hits 0, you're defeated. More on defeat later....

After a battle commence, I use these mythical things called 'DICE' to decide the battle. On each die, there are 3 attack symbols, 2 defense symbols, and 1 special symbol.

I will roll for one person first to see what the attack is, then roll for the other person to see how much they defended. 1 defense will block 1 attack. If the attacker rolls a special symbol, it counts as two hits, but if the defense rolls a special symbol, it counts as a hit back at the attacker, but the defense's special symbols only work if the attack rolls a special symbol.

Ex1: Attacker rolls 3 attack symbols
Defender rolls 2 defense symbols.
The Defender receive 1 damage.

Ex2: Attacker rolls 2 attack symbols and 1 special.
Defender rolls 1 defense symbol and 1 special
Both sides take 1 damage.

The one to roll first is the one who was on the space first.

If it's confusing don't worry, I'll know what I'm doing, and I WONT CHEAT!! I'm honest, trust me!! I won't go fixing things, even if it's to my disadvantage.

The rolls go on and on untill someone is defeated, or POPPED!! as I will say. The winner gains experience (more on that later), and the loser is currently out of the game. Defeated character can comeback, but again, more on that later.

And now more on the units for which you can play as. Each one has unique starting stats, and a special.

Dig Dug- Life 20 Attack 5 Defense 5
Special INFLATE: At the beginning of a battle, you have a 50/50 chance of 'inflating' your opponent. If you succeed, the opponent loses 1 defense point for the battle, and you roll again. Continue to roll until you fail. If the defending unit has 0 defense, and you inflate them again, they POP and you instantly win the battle. If two Dig-Dugs engage, the person who moved onto the space second will be the one to roll first.
