I got accepted in an art school in Portugal but my grants was denied. Disappointments can sometimes kill your drive, I have not been painting for months now. Although, dA is another way of expressing my creativity, I rather spend most of my time on my canvass.

Anyhow, painting is after all, most especially in the fine arts, a process. No single painting ever made a person's career. I am probably going to paint until I die anyhow, so what's the hurry?

I changed my brand from marlboro lights to Lucky strike lights. I was thinking maybe if i see the word "lucky strike" and smoke it everday...luck wud come. Crazy eh?

I must confess to wanting the recognition and money a commission brings, but I rather enjoy the artistic process. I feel that a good artist can make any subject interesting and beautiful. The interpretation and the style of the rendering provides the satisfaction.

I feel that there is so much beauty and interest in the world that an artist should learn to see a painting in every direction. I am just simply enjoying painting full time.
