SO i have been gone awhile.
Had this amazing internship in taiwan at my aunt's landscape design firm where I did mostly illustration and graphic design.I am so gracious i was given such a chance.
I learned a lot..made some great friends, ate great food,found out what was like to HAVE relatives(like having an aunt to talk to..or a cousin to hang out with).

SO i decided...i haven't been chasing what i am SUPPOSE to be doing.

Illustration.

Parents always want "this and that"....so i avoided what i really wanted to do for years...only to have it roars it's ugly head in taiwan.I realized i can draw really fast,on minutes notice,and i can do it FOREVER...it's like breathing for me.(compare to something you get bored with quickly)

The firm is actually impressed by this and used me as a illustration machine( sometimes i get only half a day to produce one( though is also depends on the complexity they want).

So..
shouldn't i be in illustration?

I don't think i am that perfect technical level yet( i am a perfectionist though). I was in SUNY fine arts program in college...but they don't really train you to be able to render EVERYTHING..like they do in a illustration program.(people,building,landscape,perspective etc).They are more about concept...( or bullshiting).Plus they have always put down illustration at my school.

I don't know how do i start?

Do i go back to school?
Do i become apprentice or something?
Should i make it out on my own?
Maybe I should talk to those in the field?

SO all i know now....is i need a job first...to pay for supplies/table fees/commuting.


But down the line i know "where" i want to go.....just don't know "how" to get there.

And on a side note..i really need to put up new finished pieces here..instead of 10 minutes sketch experiments. I am almost embarrassed by my devy..some work are 5 years old.They shouldn't be on here. When i sort myself out, i want to put work here that really represents that potential i have...and the work i really want to do.

I just finshed making this ONE friken plate
for printmaking.....Its the first one i started on for my printmaking class....the other two plates were done out of boredom for the first one's softground to dry.
I hate softground...
i don't care if i allows you to print textures from lace to plants or whatever....its never dries!!!

MY FIRST CRADLE OF FILTH CONCERT!WHEEEE! IT WAS SOO DAMN FUKIN AWESOME!
It was pretty much the first show of their American tour.
Most of the bands before it were pretty good(a first...most times the bands playing before the main one suck ass). They had also
Divinity Destroyed....3Inches Blood...69Eyes....

SSoooo happy....though i had tons of crowd surfers fall on me....and since i was in the front...there was lots of pushing from people trying to get to the front. There was one point where people were literally violently squeezed like sardines against each other....moving back and forth.....so...insane@__@.

It got immensely worse when Cradle of Filth came on.....so..much happy head banging moshpitty violence....
If you were a small person like me...you are bound to get thrown everywhere due to the movement of the crowd. I think i traveled from the mid front ..then was pushed to the back...then to the right side...and then gradually made my way to the front...I was lucky enough to be foot or less from the stage so i could finally see the singer(yeah i am short).

DANIIIIIII!!!!!!!

Didn't get back til 3:30 ish in the morning(and i had a 8:30 morn class>_<
Oh but it was friken worth it^___^....

Maybe it the fact that its a beginning a new school year,or maybe the weather, or is it that i am happy to get a room that is bigger than my bed room at home@.@..or maybe just to get away from ppl who are poison to my brain...or maybe its that scanner my roomie has..hehehe.........

..but i got that feeling i got in high school where i would draw so much it was probably unhealthy(lack of sleeeep). Once i went to college i still drew alot but most of it went to class work..and nothing for my own work other than the sketchbook i carry around with me 24/7. I rarely did completed works or fanart aside from class.-__-

But now things has gone full circle...the bug has bitten me again.Hence why i finally decided to join devart after being nagged for 4 to 5 years to do so.


So if anyone wants something..say it while the bug is still injecting its sweet poison into me.

yeah...just so you know...DeviantArt...takes about 80 percent of my social life....if it makes you feel any special.

Instead of talking to "ppl"......i draw(well..i do that normally)....and put it up here.....i religiously check my messages to able to get back to EVRYONE. ....and its the highlight of my day.....
