So yeah xD Expo was awesome! I had an amazing time, saw lots of people I haven’t seen in a very long time, and met some great new people too! <3 Love you all! Special mentions to Emi and Liz my epic bucketeers~ <3 Spinni, Lui, Sofi, Metty, Bloodmee, Aimee, and Poppy 8D

Wont go into too much detail since I have so much coursework to do, and I’m still recovering from what myself and Kandapanda have officially dubbed ‘cosplay-fever’ xD Also I tend to fail at writing epic journals, other people are better at it :’D So this'll just cover expo, not travel etc, sorry xD

Saturday was Lazard’s day… it was so much fun! <3 Lui became my fangirl (love you ), Emi kept trying to eat her cigarette (lol~), we harassed Amala and the others, and enjoyed baguettes and smoothies (which don’t go at all well with overexcited pre-teens and white gloves ¬__¬ Good thing I had spares lol)
Was a great day, and I loved flailing around with everyone, whacking people (read: Genesis xD lol) with clipboards and having people fill out my ShinRa Mission Reports (they've kept me giggling for hours xD), and you all looked absolutely amazing~!

Sunday was Lavi, with my super-epic-awesome DGM group with Kanda, Komui, Allen, Krory, and Bak~ You guys seriously made cosplaying him so much more epic!
We flailed around and then went to the shoot, after we were done we went to do our own mini-shoot (and stole a Lenalee along the way >B] Komui approved)
My platforms were killing my feet, and I was tired from lack of sleep so as the day went on I felt very ill ;___; though seeing Amala and the others at the end of the day really cheered me up! Stayed in our hotel room all evening since I had felt horrible T^T though had some epic lols with everyone who came back later in the evening <3

Overall, it was an amazing weekend <3 …except for the illness part lol

Next weekend!

Obviously, I’m looking foreword to it xD Its been ages since I’ve seen everyone! So I really can’t wait!

For the weekend I’ll be rooming with Emi (~Ladywhitetiger) and Liz (*Skyla-dream) as well as two of Emi’s friends~! Looking foreword to seeing Lui and Sofi again too <3 I haven’t seen them since last expo D8

Cosplay plans for the weekend are:

Friday: Not 100% sure, but if Liz is still doing Frau around the hotel I’ll join her as Teito 8D Otherwise… I’ll just decide on the day xD
Saturday: Lazard Deusericus, Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core (Oh, it’s gonna be a FABULOUS day~! lol)
Sunday: Lavi (1st uniform) DGM (Cant wait to flail about with my awesome group )

I’m not ready yet ;____; …fortunately there’s not that much left to do really xD I’m not totally happy with how Lazard looks at the moment though >__> but I can always fix him up later. Lavi REALLY needs finishing… lol I have everything and the main body’s almost done… I’m just being lazy :'D

Liz’s Birthday! 8D

I had an epic time visiting Liz (*Skyla-dream) with Emi (~Ladywhitetiger) at the end of August, for almost a whole week in celebration of Liz’s 18th birthday! ^w^ It was a week of very little sleep, far too much toast and fangirling, and also quite a bit of abuse! (on the final morning I took a knee to the face :'D lol) xD I had an amazing time, and I hope both of them enjoyed it just as much as I did! <3

Going okay though I hate how early I have to get up now that the summer holiday's over xD

Also went to my friend Danny’s 18th which was great! ^w^ had some very lol-worthy moments (we proved you can eat cake with a straw, just not quite how we planned xD), and the casino theme turned out really fun! 8D There was a bit of drama, but nothing that was major enough to spoil the evening so it was all good

Okay xD sorry this bits gonna be so short, though its long overdue! (FAIL xD) I have a lot to write about and I don’t want the journal to turn out huge lol... plus my memory sucks xD

So, on the 10th to the 13th, I had Emi and Liz come to visit
I had an amazing time guys! So just…thank you both for being so awesome!!! 8D There was much flailing, anime watching ('Lieutenant Sex?' o_O xD oh GW~ <3), and cosplay lols x3 It was such a great few days!!

I'm sure both of them are aware how much I wanted them to stay, seeing as I chased Emi's train down the platform, and was sorely tempted to sneak on board Liz's train in her luggage :'D

Well… I’m mostly happy, but not with my History result. I've been working at a B or higher for most of the year and I got a C… but I can always re-sit if I need to

Media… messed up the coursework marks ¬_¬ so they’ve been sent back and I’ll have to wait to know for sure.

So a load of us went to my friend Nicole’s house for a BBQ afterwards, which was a lot of fun Congrats to everyone else who’s got their results and I hope you’re all happy with them!

Was EPIC. Seriously. I really owe my friend Emma for letting me have the extra ticket so I could go with her x3 I’ve loved dinosaurs since…forever xD so I knew I’d enjoy the show~

The dinosaur’s were so realistic, both in appearance and the way they moved! Especially the raptors The larger dinosaurs were just awesome 8D A lot of the time, I was sure the narrator guy was just there for size comparison so you knew how huge the dinosaurs were xD

So! If anyone’s been considering going to see it, I’d definitely recommend doing so

(Literally copying and pasting this from when I first wrote it...around two weeks ago It doesnt contain any recent/necessary updates, but I'm posting it because A) Its epically long overdue, and B) I dont want it to clash/interfere with future journals xD so... 8D)

On the 17th-20th July, I went down to London to stay with Liz and Emi and attended the LFCC! It was awesome hanging out with Liz (~Skyla-dream) and Emi (~Ladywhitetiger) all weekend xD I had so much fun with my Cake-In-A-Bucket crew~

Got to Euston and flailed madly when I spotted Liz xD Then it was time to fetch Emi, so we ran to her platform and harassed her in a big group hug 8D At Liz's we sat around eating cake (in a bucket!) and watching Tsubasa Most of the faggotry seemed to occur when we were trying to sleep later xD Emi obsessively reading DGM, and me awakening Liz's Kanda muse which inevitably led to the LAVI SAUSAGE xD

Saturday we skipped the LFCC, as it was cosplay making day! Since I had mine done, Me and Emi worked on her Kuro costume, while Liz finished off her Fai~ We ended up working on them until like...3:30 on sunday morning? xD But it was a really fun day!

Sunday was LFCC day 8D Emi as Kurogane, Liz as Fai and me as Kamui~ went to Vic Mignogna's panel but we only really caught the end. Then we headed over to Vic's table. He's so nice in person
Then we met up with Kherrigan and Amala... thrusting occurred xD headed over to the cosplay desk with them to hang out with everyone. Saw quite a few people I havent seen for a while and met some new people too!
Mainly hung around the cosplay desk, though visited Vic a couple more times xD and talked with everyone, and played with the Boromir action figure (FOR GONDOR!!) Once the event was closing, we said goodbye and headed back to Liz's house, where we later flailed outside in the flood lights xD

D8 I didnt want to leave on monday: we packed, watched tokyo revelations (again xD) and then headed off to Euston. After a group hug, I clung to them for a while then had to get my train home T_T

Miss you guys already D8 <3 Cant wait to see you both again ^w^

YES >8D its all over~ I’m not sure that they all went brilliantly, but I didn’t feel terrible about any in particular xD though my last history exam was kinda stressful, especially when, after leaving, I became positive that I’d answered a question incorrectly Now that I think about it, I don’t think I did lol x3

Going back to normal timetable after this weekend though T_T And I really cant be bothered, unless its just for the sake of seeing my friends again xD but at least I get the rest of the week off! I'm gonna try and draw a little too, so keep an eye out for updates

I’d be in a much better mood though if I hadn’t just found out that, despite us being way below the limit of applying for EMA, I still don’t qualify for it. At all. Not even the minimum amount; I understand that they base it on what your parents earned last year, but my dad lost his job half way through the year, so we’re only about £30 over the EMA limit, and only because my mum did a lot of overtime after my dad lost his job...you’d think they’d take the current situation into account and give us at least the minimal amount ¬_¬

Right now I don’t know when I can next apply, or if it’s even worth doing. It’s put me in a very bad mood, so I’m going to be trying a lot harder to get a job again now... I’ve talked to some local shops and stuff about getting a job there over the summer, so I’m just hoping that they get in touch soon

So to anyone who I talk to over the next few days, sorry if I seem a little depressed at times, I'll probably cheer up again soon

Friday;

Arrived about an hour late, and I was greeted by Kherrigan and Joe in the car park, who helped me carry my mass of luggage to our room. Then after meeting Sophie and Lui, and hanging out in our room for a bit, we went downstairs to visit Liz’s room, where I was hugged and given cake; then we went downstairs to the lobby to hang around with everyone, Emi came over from travel lodge after a while, so we pratted about outside with all the other PTI people xD I saw so many people who I hadn’t seen in months, which was awesome <3 Then when it quietened down we went inside and sat in the Cabbage patch 8D lol.

Saturday;

Oh, Xigbar day~ It’s a bit of a blur already xD So I might not remember it all. Lol.

Got up just past 6 I lol’d so much over Sofie’s Rick Astley cosplay <3 it was so epic! (Xigbar approved ) After we were ready, we all went downstairs to meet up with Nomi in the lobby to head over to expo, and met up with Emi and Liz once we were inside X3 It was a really fun day, though stupidly hot, so we spent most of it collapsed in the shade outside xD but it really was fun, since I met so many epic people!

It was great being Xigbar for the day, though at first I was actually very nervous about cosplaying him (Since I know it needs improvement.) But I think it went quite well 8D he’s so fun to act out xD

After getting back to the hotel, we ordered pizza, and went back to Liz’s room to hang out for the evening 8D then it was back to our room for much need sleep xD

Sunday;

Nappo day xD I have to admit, Sunday was a lot better than Saturday atmosphere and organisation wise xD

I loved flailing about with the other KHR cosplayers~ but I honestly didn’t hang out with them that much, mainly because I kept on losing them xD The lol-nappo went down well too, though sometimes it took people a while to realise it even had a face I also feel I need to apologise to Liz over the amount of times I doinked her over the head with the trident

We went back inside eventually for the masquerade, but we arrived too late and it had already started, so instead we wandered around the stalls. Then I had to go, so me and Liz headed back to the PTI after saying goodbye to everyone. (We spent almost the whole journey complaining about our sore feet xD evil boots~) So after grabbing all my stuff I went back down to the car park, shoved everything in the car, clung to Liz for a bit and then had to leave x3

It was such a great weekend, I met some epic people (a lot of them I’ve known only over deviantart for ages xD), saw some people who I hadn’t seen in a long time, and I really had a lot of fun! Can’t wait to see everyone again! <3

Birthday~

Today 8D lol *flail*

Was epic fun! Had about 12 people round to my house to hang out, and we had alot of fun pratting about with balloons (the hat we made was WIN xD) taking numerous myspace style photos, watching futurama and PoTC and general flailing. Got some epic presents too, including a DS lite, Cloud slippers, a Vincent plush, a giant pencil, the whole first season of Supernatural and many types of fruit xD (a brand new pineapple included!)

Really tired after today though lol but it was great fun 8D

Lol xD Okay, so English Language wasnt THAT bad infact, I think I did alright in it The first section had me a bit worried when I got started, since I spent about 10 mintues longer on the 1st group than I should have D8 but I managed to catch up, without cutting too much into the time for the second section. The second section was better (I hope xD) and I ended up ranting a bit about Language and Gender

Next exam is Critical Thinking which is on monday afternoon, but I might do History revision too~ even though that exam isnt for about 2 weeks T_T it still scares me :'D


London Expo ~ (Jumping on the bandwagon of expo journals xD)

o_o 7 days???? (Ring reference? xD) Well, technically 6, since I'm going down to London a day early.

Expo is so close D8 I keep forgetting, and then when I realise its only like...a week away, I freak out xD

Oddly, I'm alot more nervous than I expected to be, though I'm still definately looking foreward to it! Now that we've definately sorted everything out for the hotel, I'm feeling alot better I'll be staying with Kherrigan and afew other people at the PTI 8D so if you're staying there, you'll probably see me flailing about most evenings.

I'm going up on the friday, and unless my dad fixes his car soon, I'll have to leave sunday evening (since we'll borrowing my mums car for travel xD) but at least I get to go for both days Hoping he'll have it fixed though x3 He's got all the parts he needs after all.

On the friday, I'll be wearing a casual version of Mukuro around the hotel I think xD
Then on Saturday, its time for Xigbar~ 8D I'll be with my epic Saix puppy, Marly and Luxord
And Sunday, I'll be doing a suited version of Mukuro, should be easy to spot with the 7ft trident and the pineapple, kufufu~ lol

Also getting very close xD Its on the 26th, and honestly I dont think I'm doing much for it, since my parents are helping me out with Expo expenses as my present, so I wont be able to afford to do anything big; but I didnt really want to do anything major anyway Think I'm just having some friends round for the day x3 (hopefully there will be fewer nettle-stings involved than last year! rofl)

Might also have some new art posted this week! Since I've been drawing a little more lately 8D But it depends if I think its worth posting xD I've had a go at a few Meme's, which I might try and post before the weekend.

I've got an art exam the week I go back into college so I have to go back in during the holiday to finish off some work D8 and we've all been told to revise like crazy by all of the other teachers (History scares me the most now! XD) so I'm probably going to be spending most of the holiday working T_T *skips off to read notes*

But! I've been drawing more lately, not just for my art exam, so I might post some stuff if I like it enough 8D sorry I never seem to post art often anymore I just usually dont like what I draw lol.

lol anyhoo! onto the expo report, which wont be very long, cos I'm lazy like that

I managed to make a holster in time so I could take my sword >8D though it wasnt attatched well, and so it was the cause of much raep throughout the day! lol

Got there after a very very long and boring journey T_T but it was worth it! I was huggled by Sprinkles (emi, you were and epic piers! ) Kherrigan, Namine, Kairi, and Seifer! great seeing you guys again!

After gaining a Genesis, we had plenty of lols wandering about inside (KINGDOM HEARTS!!) and created quite a few crack-pairings XD And we flailed with joy whenever our cosplays were recognised... which wasnt often, lol. Met some great new people, and saw some epic people from last time too, you were all awesome! Sorry to the people I failed at finding/saying hi to

we witnessed the mega-glomp of doom - the guy who was being glomped ended up with cut hands and a cut lip o_o I thought he was gonna crack his head on the pavement then we flailed inside for a while again

After the masquerade (which was epic), expo finished and I clung to everyone and didnt want to go XD but eventually said goodbye and headed home ;3; I miss you all already!! (And my feet still hurt T_T)

Art coursework is bad as usual...I'm managing, but its no fun at all I kind of miss the feeling of enjoying Art...but the new subjects arent my style at all. Hopefully, I'll get used to it XD its fun some of the time at least.

We also did some Media coursework over this half term - the first attempt at filming kind of failed, so we tried again the next day, and it went much better though we spent alot of time just flailing about with the video camera trying to get it to work X3

Also! So sorry I keep forgetting to announce it, since there's been so much going on at the moment, its been one of the last things on my mind really, but! I'll be at Midlands expo on saturday! I'm really looking foreward to it, since I know it'll really cheer me up

I know that its late again to be announcing it T_T sorry, I was gonna do it yesterday, but then we had an issue with my sewing machine, and some things took longer to make than others so I didnt really have the time. SO! I am going With the epic Emi we're going as Felix and Piers from the Golden Sun series! 8D I was so pleased to find another Golden Sun fan, especially someone who wanted to cosplay it too! (since I've wanted to cosplay it since I first played it 8D ) my cosplay currently looks like epic fail T_T though I do love my cape <3

I cant wait to see everyone again! its bad enough that I havent seen some people since around christmas, but there's others I havent seen since the last midlands D8

Homework's been getting hard to handle, and I'm just...not very happy recently. I did go to a concert the other day, which was great, but I still dont feel all that good

I felt a little better when I got home today though, despite being told about what happened to my uncle, my mum also told me that today, my dad saved someone's life... a woman collapsed while he was nearby, and he resussitated her. I hope she's alright

Okay time for serious business!

I will be updating pics soon, but I want to sort out some college stuff first - mainly, catching up with some art. Our whole class is supposedly way behind, and I have to catch up if I want to pass the exam to the level my teachers expect (7 weeks left )

Doesnt help that I just had to start a new piece after spending a while on one before realising I was doing the wrong thing

Then I have to revise for an exam in january... if I mess up, I can retake it i june, but I'd rather get it out of the way

So, there will be updates, but not too many - I feel bad because lately I havent updated dev half as much as I used to but I cant really help it.

I was so nervous about going; about 10 minutes from the con I got so terrified I thought I’d throw up

I calmed down soon though - I'd just walked in and a lovely princess peach appeared and asked me for a hug. Then, I’m not sure in which order, but Saix-puppy ran over to me, then an Axel ran and hugged me then stole my keyblade it was fun chasing her round.

The main hall was kinda hectic, I kept getting stopped for photos and hugs ended up dropping my camera preparing for a photo(30-40 minutes into the con) and it broke! so there’s only about 25-ish photos(the memory card is still ok) I got my video camera out after that, so I could probably get pics from that sorry if it takes a while...

I got my first glomp! I was with an adorable OrgRoxas and told her I’d never been glomped, next thing I knew she had taken a good few strides back and started sprinting at me I had to throw down all of my things in time to catch her Also got my first ever Air Hug... a near cosplayer was offering them I said I'd have one if he told me what it was - he then grabbed me and hoised me up into the air in a crushing bear-hug nice explanation.

I got lots of lovely compliments on my costume, and met lots of Axels - even a kittyAxel (meow...) People really liked my keyblade they were asking me about it and stealing it. I thought it would get destroyed but only a couple of chips here and there its still alive!

Masquerade ruled, but it was hot as hell standing around waiting for it to start. There were some wonderful cosplays (Particularly the guitar hero and soul eater groups, and a beautiful Ashe wedding gown cosplay)

I met lots of awesome people who all made me feel welcome and made my first con so epic! Thankyou all for letting me hang out with you, for giving me hugs and just being so nice! I really hope I see you again soon!

I have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too much work to do for my art class and stuff...seriously, its not even funny plus, I'm having a bit of art block right now, so that doesnt help

I is going to the midlands expoooooooooo My dad suprised me with tickets last night, but I've been to busy to update sorry. But yup, I shall be going to the expo tomorrow, which also means that sunday I'll be working my ass off to get all my work done, but hopefully it will be worth it!

I'll also be cosplaying (I hope, unless I chicken out first)... admittedly its not quite done yet, since I didnt have a proper deadline for the costume, but I think it should be okay to wear. Its only missing a few details, but I dont want to risk messing them up trying to finish them in a hurry, so I'll just leave them out for now

And... only a few of my friends knows what the cosplay is... but I might as well say now...

Roxas

I'm too tall for him for a start (5"7 ish...), so I dont really know why I picked him But I think that considering that I didnt really know how to sew when I started making it, it turned out well. I've had to leave off some checkers because I hand paint them on, and I didnt want to risk doing them wrong (they're the awkard ones around his arms) but other than that its pretty much done save some small details!

I also love my keyblade...but as to which I made...thats a suprise!

I'm sleepy

I had 10 of my friends round for a barbeque, which ruled...though there was an unfortunate saussage massacre (so much smoke...) and lots of nettle stings (blame those of my friends who decided to play frisby and continuously hurled it into the field next to my house...) We also played badminton for a while, though we're not that great at it, and kept almost knocking eachother out...

I gots lots of cool stuff too! (including a chocobo phone strap, a dvd of 'the grudge' (the remake), an mp3 and an avenue q soundtrack!)

it was a good day I also got about £200-220 which is so...yeah, I'm happy!

overall, It was very very fun though I'm about to faint hopefully the fizzy pop I'm drinking will make me hyperactive
