As much as I would like to bombard you all with a few pictures that have collected since April, commonsense tells me that I should gradually share them, so I can update more often... I'm planning to post at least two pictures weekly, to keep you all somewhat entertained.
For the most part, these pictures are more nature themed than animals/A:tLA... I do have a few food related pictures that I can't wait to show off :aww:

As I mentioned in my last Journal, I'm going to be in New Jersey for a short while. I'm leaving Saturday (27) and won't be back until Tuesday (30).

That Gaia avatar picture, funny thing is, the file got corrupted (I had saved it directly to my flashdrive w/o a backup :shakefish:). So, yes, I did have to start over, but luckily, I had a few favorite parts and had saved them separately. I do have it done, but I'm not too happy with how the hair came out, plus it's tons more plain than what the original was (I really didn't feel like starting the whole thing over again :dead:).

Within the next couple of weeks, I'll be adding a few pictures that I took on my April trip to Washington DC. Things like Arlington and the White House...yeah

I won't be on at the end of this month, but I am going to some beach in New Jersey, I think, so I'll try and snap a few decent pictures for y'all.

If you live in the US of A, sometime late on Father's day, around 8pm (sorry, I don't know which time zone), I suggest that you turn to NBC and watch the premier of Merlin. I've already seen all of season one (no season 2 yet) and I really enjoyed it.

Had a snow day on Wednesday, yay no school. ~bunny-katzen didn't get to enjoy it as much as I did, she was sick for most of it and had to miss school the following day. Since yesterday, I haven't been feeling my best, so I'm thinking I caught what she had. I'm not sure, but I was really out of it yesterday afternoon. I've just came across a headache within a few hours ago. Probably should take something for it...

I've updated a bit; a few pictures of my Aunt's dog and an interesting flower.

I'm sorry that I haven't been on in what seems to be an extremely long time. The end of the semester for my classes were coming up and of course that means being swamped with tons of homework. I don't think I'll be taking anymore long absences in the near future, but I defiantly know that I won't be updating as much as I have last year (since one of my favorite models has passed away).

There are a few things I'd like to post, but unfortunately, they're all on my other computer, which I do not have access to. They're not exactly new pictures. They happen to be different versions to my Rebel pictures.

I am way past my head in Deviations (400!) and will take some serious time in trying to view all of them.

I was really touched when I signed on this evening to find a note from a very dear friend, asking if I was all right. Yes, I am, and I'm truly grateful to have friends like you! :hug: Thank you for your worry!


I'm hoping everyone had enjoyed their Winter Holidays and are having a nice beginning to a new year.

In the near future, I plan on having a few pictures of a few things that I have been working on in my 3-D/sculpture class. One's a clay cat, modeled after Jessica :tombstone: and wire-plaster lil' men in poses from Avatar. Yup. Just a few things to wait for. I've finished putting glaze on the sculpture and is going to be refired(??) sometime this week. My little men are on display in my school's library... yeah

I have a few digital pictures that I am working on. One's almost done being colored. the other... well, it's not as near as done.

~bunny-katzen's cat Jessica (photos in gallery) has been sick for a while but has now moved on... It's really a weird notation, to sit here and think that Jessica, a loving and sweet cat, is no longer with us, and to think that I just lost a friend in June. As I've said before, when my friend died: "goodbye" can be unexpected and unwanted, so you must cherish the time spent together.

Well, school starts soon for me (next week actually) and I've been a bit busy with getting ready and cleaning and whatnot. I don't have anything to post, unfortunately.
I hope everyone's Summer's doing okay and was well. Anyone keeping up with the Olympics? I'm not :XD:.
My life officially has been bored down since Avatar ended (I feel like a part of myself died, LOL :XD: ), but I look forward to the live action movie in the next two years.

Randomness-
I had a yard sale today. Actually, the whole neighborhood did. We weren't supposed to start until 9, but a lot started before that. My mom and I started at about 7:25 and we ran for a bout 9 hours until four thirty-ish. The most thing we sold was soda and hot dogs. I also got to see a hundred dollar bill for the third time that I can remember :XD:; but seriously, who carries a wad of 1 hundred bills around?
Even though I was sitting in the shade, I some how managed to get painful sunburns- just my luck for sensitive skin :shakefist:. I got it pretty bad on my left arm and my nose just started itching a while ago. :XD: I also happened to walk into the cooler that we had. I immediately placed ice on it,however it was already bruising by the time I realized I ran into something.
Another note: someone was supposed to stop by this morning, but they never came. T_T It's alright, though- there's always a next time. :hug:

So It started snowing today at around 9:00. No one at school could concentrate on working after that... In my second period, kids had their passbooks out to "use the bathroom", but really wanted to check the snow. We were let out early, near ten minutes after lunch, some time after 12:45. I decided not to have lunch since we were going home soon and I could eat a better meal there. I also have the latest lunch at 12:15.

Going home wasn't too fun. Our poor bus driver! She said that she was going to have to take five stress pills when she got home. At our first stop the bus skidded a bit, because of the slush that was on the road. The third stop is on a gradully sloping road, the bus did not want to come to a complete stop. There's about four stops that are on a hill. A very steep hill. The driver didn't even want to try to get up the hill and I'm glad she didn't. To top that off, a phone pole had fallen down on a van on that same hill. People from the (I'm guessing, I don't really know) district had to get the four stops home (there was six of us). So we had a "chauffeur", as one of them put it to lighten the mood, drive us to our houses. Cat and I were the firsts to be dropped off. I had to walk down the hill -we sit in what I like to call a 'hole' that's on the hill- in flat bottom sneakers, without any type of groves that could help traction. I also wore the wrong pants. They were a type of bootcuts so the bottoms of the legs goes under my shoe at times. They soaked up at least three inches of water.

I'm working on a gift for a friend. Actually it's two, but I only started one. I've come across a problem with it and am currently trying to work out a way to get it fixed. If you like to see an earlier process (I've changed it since that picture) it's in my scraps, Here's a [link]

I'm serious, though, it's freezing outside. Brrrr!!
I went to our last offical football game, to watch Cat in the pit/Marching band. I was shivering like crazy and my hands were like ice! It was pretty fun, though. We won, something like 38 to 10.
So, while I was at the FB game, I missed Avatar, but it's okay, because I have cable! Wooo! I get to stay up 'til midnight!
I'll, probably going to post some stuff with in the next (couple) of weeks. However, don't quote me on that. :D

Sorry I've died, but I'm back...For a while.

I hate to jinx myself, but we finally got a new motherboard for the computer! Now I can get back to the pittiful stuff that I've be doing. Besides this journal, I don't have anything to post. I do have a few things started that I'm going to be randomly working on.

The first marking period has ended! It's safe to say that I've passed all my class. I've got A's and B's, with a D in English. I don't like being persuasive, so I didn't do a paper, bad me. I really don't have a problem if someone doesn't like something as much as I do; who am I to tell them to think different? Besides, I have very bad persuasive skills, unless you happen to be my twin. :XD:

So I'm not there yet, but odds are I'm going to miss it.

Hopefully, if things go right, I'll be able to post an awesome pixel person and y'all can guess who it is. Except for Cat, because, well, you would know.

My computer's on it's way to being fixed. Dad finally ordered a new motherboard. It should be here in maybe a week? If not, I'm sure it'll probably be fixed before December.

I'm practicing drawing bodies and the GAang's heads, so expect those sometime.

Today at the mall, there was a Lego! Batman on display. It was apart of a contest, guess how many were used. It gave me an idea. Us Avatards should get together and build the GAang. Have it held at some comic convention, or something. Bring your own Legos.

The Beach? Yeah, there's something wrong with it. I don't really know what ,but there's something that I didn't like. I did, however, love Zuko trashing the place and "Look at me! I can walk on my hands!" That group picture at the end was priceless!

I'm Sick! Blegh. It's not fun. It started on Sunday, with a stuffy nose and a sore throat. I didn't sound sick until Tuesday. I stayed home today, missed school (Oh boy :sarcasticclap:), and went to the doctor's. I don't like capsules. :stab:

Anyway, I'm exited for tonight! Sokka's Master I've already seen two minutes on Turbo.

I'm getting extremely close to 1,000 page views, and I'm overly happy. So I've decided to do something I'm probably not going to like. I'm going to do a Kiriban for 1,000P.V.s. In advanced I'm letting you know that it will be a very long time before I could give you your prize if I draw it( it has to be perfect right?). If it's missed, I'll take 1,010.

So, it can be a photo, some type of writing, or a drawing/picture whatever.
Photo: anything you can find on the East coast of the U.S.
Writing: anything
Drawing: Animals, people/person, cartoon characters.
It has to be PG13 and under.

Right now I'm working on coloring an "Anime" style Katara head. If I like it, it might go in the gallery. Since it's a head, it might just be put in scraps. I'll have a link to it if I scrap it.

First off, Since I've been posting way too many Journals, I've decided to do something smart and combine smaller entries.

I've thought up of some wallpaper ideas, thought I'd let y'all know that I'm actually trying to do something. So one's a Zuko/Aang katara. Another's Jinko/Zujin because that paring needs some love. Seriously, in search, type in Jinko wallpaper or Zujin wallpaper, and there's like two. And some S3 stuff... yeah.

Still waiting for that darn computer to be fixed.

I'm being dragged to the High School's football game and none of my friends are going (besides Marching Band members). At school was interesting. People were like "Why are you wearing a Drumline shirt?" Duh, because I bought it. Also, since Cat's in it, might as well, right?

School's back in session, so I won't have the time to stalk my cat until she does something cute/picture worthy. Not that y'all like me swamping my gallery with pictures of them anyways.
School's been okay, although my legs are sore from P.E./Gym.

I have a very, very low-key play that a group of "friends" and I did, in English, that I could post... If anyone's interested... It's a remake of Scene 3? of Antigone (Ann tig on e, I know it looks like Anti gone, but it's not), "now a-days".

Oh, and German. I could post a short, stupidly pointless German story that my class made up. It's German I quality! Wooo... :sarcasticclap:

It's September. I've mentioned something that I would have done by the end of this month. If you forgot what it was, try not to think about it, because I procrastinate and it's not done...

I don't have too many pictures to share with you while I was there; I hardly had any time to go off and take pictures.
I've got some sunrise pictures, though, and sadly, I couldn't walk too far away from the cabin I was satying at, so there and trees in them.
I've got one sunset picture that's not too nice, or should it be sunsetting?
I also got a cloudy picture some time around a sunset and after it rained. It's kind of nice.

Some things I did at camp:
-Went to bed at 11:00pm and woke up no later than 6:00am and no earlier than 4:00am.
-Banged up my knee while tryng to get into my bunk. That earned me three bruises. I did that around Wednesday-ish and one of then is just turning yellowish.
-Fell down the steps of my cabin. Got two nice long scratches and a bar of a bruise that's now turning yellow. Happened on Monday.
-Earned an forearm's length bruise from archery, now starting to fade.
-Took near thirty pictures of the same sunrise. And near same amount of some wild rabbit.
-Went kayaking and hated it. >.< Also saw a dead fish...
-Ate cat food. For dinner one time, they gave us this white type of rice with gravy, and cube chunks of light a dark coloured meat. The lighter one was, I believe, turkey. But only God knows that the other one was. The boys at my table claimed it cat food and thought no one would go for seconds. Horribly, many did.
-Earned a mystery bruise on my jaw.
-Fell down a bit over fourty feet in the air. No lie, it was a giant "swing". Falling backwards wasn't too fun. Plus, you just dangle there.
-Went simming in the pool and the Chester. Nasty water Chester.
-Went tubbing. Apparently there are different kinds of tubbing. At camp, there's this floatation device that's like a giant lillypad with handles on. A boat takes you out in to Chester and when you're far enough, you climb on to the floaty thing. then the boat speeds away and you're drag behind, holding on for dear life.
-Learned things from the bible. It's a church camp.
And some other things that aren't worthy enough to mention. JK, I'll just bore you.


I finally cought up with my new watch-deviation, there was near 61!
So now I'm packing for a week stay in Arizona! I really am looking forward to the dryness in the air. There's just too much water in the air here.

Why is Friday the 13th unlucky? From the Yahoo user Angel of Death ([link]) :

It was indeed because of a massacre,the Knights Templar were virtually wiped out after being accused of heresy. The order went out in secret and when everything was in place they were arrested and tortured into confession of heresy. Had to look at a few things to clear it up but the previous poster had the date right,Oct 13,1307.There are numerous links on the net using the knights templar or the date as searches,basically it seems that alot of it was done to gain the wealth that the Templars had built up over time.Not to mention that some disliked or even outright feared the influence the Templars had built up over time.There are of course other stories and perhaps some of them also have historic links but this is the only definitive one I've seen that could be used.

According to, TV Shows on DVD dot com ([link]) , the first volume DVd, for the Third Season of Avatar, is already planned and whatnot. ASN had confermind the information to be true.
The cover for the DVD has Sokka, Toph, Katara, and Aang on it, in Fire Nation clothing (from what you can see and all of Aang is showing). However, Aang is different. Really different.
From what I can tell, from using Toph and Katara, it doesn't look real. Possibly it's a disguise.


No one really knows for sure when the Third Season will start. I've figured it's not going to be during this month or August, because I haven't seen any previews. TV Shows on DVD had guessed that it's possible that Season Three could come out after September 11th.

There are a lot of artists on here who haven't been "discovered" yet, and they are really good. Eventually, yes, they may be, but who wants to wait that long? So, here's my proposal: Why not get together some of our Avatar fanartists to do a fanart video?

We could have a contest, with each artist presenting a piece of art that will be featured in my journal (or, we could create a Atla_Fanartists community here or on LiveJournal), and a voting will be held. Then, the top three or four would be comissioned to do the artwork. And then we would take the fanarts and put them together in a video that would be placed on my LiveVideo channel and each of their screennames would be displayed for the artwork. Not only would we be helping out our fandom, but it also gets exposure for those artists who aren't as well known as some of our other fanartists. We Avatards could unite and get our work out there!

And, to make sure this gets out to the whole Avatar fandom, anyone who is a fan and reads this is tagged. Copy everything under the divider into your journal, and let our fans be discovered!

A few days ago, my dad ordered for me a "How to Draw" book of Avatar and it came today (just recently too :XD:). So now I'll be able to post more "official" fanart.
I do have some head drawings of a few characters, I might display them in my scraps...

Anyways, did you know Momo's head is almost shaped like a stop sign?!? Well, it's what this book says. And I had no idea that Zuko's scar reached his ear and made it defromed *is being sarcastic* :P
In the book, they also have a "How to Draw" of Tui and La! Which makes me very happy since I've been practicing drawing them for a friend's birthday.
Only "main" characters are in there though, so no Mai or Ty Lee, only Jet from the Freedom Fighters, the gAang and Zuko and Iroh.
THey're all body shots, though they have a "draw Aang's head".


Things on my Sokka pillow... well, I've got a design down... He only needs a head plan, then I could probably start getting fabric. When I draw how I would like it to look like, his head's really creepy... I might have to look in to how other people make pillow heads. Or I could have him headless. :evillaugh:

It's extremly funny; the sound affects are to die for and the dancing.
Anyways, it's an Avatar Flash animation, staring Zuko and Zhao and Iroh are there too, but Zhao doesn't say anything.
OMG, When Iroh says: "I tought him everything he knows," look at Zhao's face :rofl:!!!!!
It's all about why Zuko should be Fire Lord, because of that, I would totally want him to be Fire Lord. I doubt Ozai can dance!!!

Anyways, on a brighter note... Have you got a look at my webcam? Yup, that's Ty Lee from A:tLA, episode 220 (20, second season) The Crossroads of Destiny.
I was thinking about having the part where Ty Lee and Sokka were "dancing". When she pops up infront of him, she looks like that. Only Sokka's there, but I edit it so he's not any more...
Also, Sokka had a pose, while he was dodging Ty Lee, where he looked like a fountian :rofl:

On to the point... I started thinking about what could Ty Lee have? Then her and Sokka's flirtiness popped into my head and I came up with a pillow! :evillaugh: ^^;

I'm planning on making my mom help, beacuse let's face it, I can't really sew.
I don't have it all planned out yet, but I think it'll look so cute!
Expect it by August-September.

Just though I'd let cha know... I'll keep you posted...


oh... I'm also thinking about making a Barbie doll outfit for Azula, Katara, Mai and Ty Lee too. Although, that'll take longer, so you probably won't see them around for a while, since I'll have to stich them by hand... (and maybe a Toph with the Stacy(?) doll)

Today, I celebrated my Birthday (1 week & a day ago). My sister got me the Air Temple lego set and a Fire assault Zuko :love:. I love my new Zuko buddy, although he can't talk. His fist lights up but he doesn't make a sound :'(. I'm probably going to have to re place him though...
