Anyone else who plays World of Warcraft got hacked recently?

I did... and found all my characters above level 20 completely raped (literally) and the account is suspended because the hacker seems to have been a gold seller with GM privelages.....

Off of that subject... So, last Sunday , in five minutes or so I got that letter for the Registrar guy done and the next day I had handed it to him. I should be getting a reply by post and I only hope it gets here soon. I recieved a letter from ETC stating that the apprenticeship will terminate by end of this month and Mr. Meilaq needs an answer. Hopefully I'll get a positive reply, thus falling as a part-time student and obviously informing the man to rest his mind. If not... I'll need a sponsor and I don't want one!

Apprenticeships aside: Does anyone know of a good tutorial which is easy to follow and understand regarding ASP.NET? I seriously can't get this assignment done. I'm getting trouble with the layout which is absolutely ticking me off, CSS is... not exactly working, and I still don't get the session state thing-a-ma-bobs, plus a bunch of other stuff. I can't ask my lecturer 'cause she doesn't help, the internet isn't that helpful either though I did get an answer or two and if I ask some of my friends in the class I'll probably just stare at the code still not understanding a damn thing. I really don't get ASP.NET. I truely think it's a waste of time. Some or many will obviously not agree with me but I prefer PHP because I find it a whole lot more friendlier code-wise. The former has a freak load of complications which just don't make sense: you need a file for this and another file for that, then add a new file for this and create a new file for that. In PHP, type the darn code and you're done. Whatever you want happening in that page is right in front of your face, and the best part is that you can type the entire thing in Notepad! Eclipse is better since you can debug =]

Anywho, shove the complaining out the window. I've got good news and bad news...

Good news is that I started Ninjustsu again. Went last Monday with my mum to see if the training is still the same. We were waiting for the sensei to turn up. He came in and saw me. He seemed a little surprised and pleased at the same time. Told him I intended to get back into the training. He asked me why wouldn't I start from today and I told him that I had just eaten. My mum: "That was an hour ago!" Personally, I'd rather not take any chances. Sensei: "Oh come on. Go get your ghee." Mum drove me home, I got the ghee, she drove me back, and got my rear kicked. The training killed me. We finished an hour and a half later, called my mum to pick me up (her idea), got home, got a shower then a coffee and went to bed. Tuesday morning was ok. I was surprised I didn't feel any aches and pains... untill later that day. My legs and my back were first to complain. Come that evening, I was aching all over. Wednesday morning, I was wondering how to get out of bed. I couldn't freaking walk. It's a bit difficult to move around when the muscles in your tighs don't want to neither expand nor contract. At least this morning I woke up ok. Tomorrow I'll be better and then I'll get my rear kicked again. Oh yes, I'm going back XD

Bad news... I got writer's block... again. It's not that bad thankfully. I'm just a bit stuck-ish. Though blocks are blocks unfortunately. One way I found how to get something done during a block is read, play a game or watch a movie. I mean it! I end up penning something down. Could be a sentence, but it's something.

Speaking of watching stuff, go look up a stand up comedian named Billy Connolly. I haven't laughed this hard in ages. I was laughing so much my ribs were killing me. Thank you YouTube. I don't know how I found the guy but I'm thankful I did. Someone point to me some other comedian who openly spoke about his colonoscopy session. If you're going to look him up make sure you watch the clip where he talks about fish. The clip is titled 'Sea Life'. My Gods I love him.

Keeping to YouTube. If you want to watch an interesting yet stomach churning video, look up 'The man whose arms exploded'. It's about steroid use and it's crazy and impeccably fucked up. The entire episode is split into five parts. It's freaky and make sure you have a strong stomach before you watch it. Yeesh.

I think that's all I can deliver for today. I shall go and get me grub... then try to add a bit more to the assignment... finally, hopefully a bit more of chapter seven. Food first.

No Diploma means, either a different course or a job. The latter is an impossibility at the moment. Open any Sunday newspaper and search the vacancies section: accountant, accountant, accountant, auditor, accountant, manager, manager, manager... driver, electrician, cleaner. What the bloody fuck already? Do I have go abroad to find a half decent job? That's probably the one thing I'll end up doing though. I've been promising a dearly departed for too long that I'll visit. Might as well make it permanent. Too bad it's too late. My only problem here is my brother. He'll be close to hysterical. There would be no way I could leave this island for good without dragging him along somehow, and if I drag him, I'll have to drag my mum. Won't leave her alone. And here's another problem: She. Can't. Leave. Stupid seperation case been going on for the past three years or so.

So we have to stick to Malta. Staying in Malta means I need to find a job anyway. There are no freakin' jobs in Malta. I.e.: I have to stick to my Diploma. Trying to keep my Diploma means trying to finish this stupid assignment and not strangulate the bitch of a lecturer and that also means I have to somehow last another fuckin' year. By the way, the system in MCAST is as screwed as an upside-down and inter-twined logic-gate which doesn't have an actual function. I've been going in and out of Mr. Manduca's office for the past month wondering when in Kryst's crusified ass's name am I going to get an answer to my predicament. Last time I asked him... he forgot what the hell I was talking about. Then told me to write a letter to the Registrar, i.e.: the Director. Yeah, sure, that'll solve my problem.

If I quit MCAST, there's nothing else I can do. The real courses I wish to attend are expensive enough to have Gonzi actually bat an eyelid. It's not like I have something I can do to earn a bit extra on the side either but I'm seriously starting to find that wierd-ass "Why not be a writer?" advert appealing. Maybe I'll turn a couple of Brits insane and they'll go off on a killing spree in khakis waving, plastic AKs, with a slouched pirate accent, all in my name. That'll be something to look forward to. In the meantime, I might actually finish off The Possession. Then the fun starts since according to someone and that someone knows I'm talking about him, believes anyone who'll read it will die of a heartattack. Oh look, the body count is rising!

Speaking of The Possession, seventh installment is coming up since a certain someone asked for it... and the rest of the thing. Plus I'm doing a rewrite. Oh, and about chapter seven, I hope you don't mind a few swearing (see above...), Benji's a bad boy. And another PS, chapter eight might be short... either short or long, that is, includes a nice flashback or five.

Let's go back a little, shall we?

Thursday 26th March: I am seriously and truely trying to work on the damn thing they gave me. I'm serious. Problem is that I'm not much of a fan of reverse engineering! Yes, that was the first real assignment they shoved in my face... At one point in time, I couldn't look at the freaking monitor. My eyes were hurting and if I even tried to focus on anything, my head would follow, and it wasn't like I could just look at anything else in the office either. I couldn't look at anything white, and that includes everything. So, I decided to take a bit of a break and browsed for some website or the other which had a background color preferably black. Found a couple and here's my fault, I got caught up reading this guy's blog. The man writes too much but I couldn't exactly help it. He's too hilarious! Death by Children In the meantime, I'm trying to get back to code. Unfortunately, I lost focus and couldn't consentrate... Should've just told the Big Man about it, I know.

Friday 27th March: Ok, so I arrive an hour late but I was on flexi-time so no problem. I punch in at 09.00, get to my desk, quickly check any e-mails concerning school or work, quickly send one and I was happy enough to get to that code. I was actually making some progress on it. Now I knew the nice sunny day, the for once open windows in the office and my abnormal cheerful mood as I got to Hal Far was some kind of good omen or something. At one point in time - I was still DMC'd, had watched the anime the night before - got curious and Wikied Dante. It took me, what, two minutes. Boss comes up behind me and asks what I was doing. Told him I was curious about a small detail and it wasn't much and closed the site. Then he informs me that I can "pack up and leave". He asks a colleague in his office for five minutes and then call me. There - I felt like hitting him, seriously - he informs me that he saw me browsing the day before and that "this couldn't go on". Why didn't he say something the day before? Ah well, he did me a grand favor since I got home nice and early with the sun shining down and got my brother and myself off to celebrate. We literally stuffed ourselved XD

Who ever heard of celebrating because they got fired? Hehe.

Anyway, I had to inform the ETC guy, told the IICT guy, am still waiting for an email from the IICT guy so I can send to the ETC guy and am currently unemployed...



Anyone got a job for me?

Ok, cut the crap and on to business. Though there's not much to call business since this is simply a journal entry...

So, yes, I have been so inactive that, most of you either thought I died or abandoned this site. I did neither, thankfully. Speaking of dead, 2009 so far has given up too much news of youngsters having to give up their souls one way or the other. Either this year is cursed or there's some unknown frenzy spreading on this island. In the same week, last month, Malta hears the news of the ninteen-year-old soldier who drowned, whom I find out was a good friend of one of my classmates AND a deviant, who last week I found out is on my MySpace friends list - can't remember who added who or for whatever - also departed for the Spiritual Realm. How and why, I don't know. And lately, that poor fourteen-year-old who went missing was found badly decomposed in the sea.

Deaths, robberies, threats... name it! This year seems to represent bad luck.

Oh, let's not forget recession!

A good friend of mine from Nottingham, England, so far has gone through hell and back with nothing but shit flung to his face. He's practically given up on everything.

I, on the other hand, though this year started with a nice OK. I was so freakin' WRONG! I start off January back to school and work with my new sponsor. School meant handing in of an assignment which was no where near ready - no one gives a damn if Visual Studio doesn't work on your machine - and work meant an hour and a half bus drive to HAL FAR! Yes, Hal Far. Right next to the open center. I don't really mind the immigrants, after all, they ran away from home to stay alive, too convinced to leave after seeing their wife get shot >.< But racist, I mean catholic Malta doesn't care. They are invading our home and taking everything away from us. Who cares if some of them are well qualified, very intelligent people? Who cares, even, that they too have a heart and soul and are seeking a better home and better way of life? Who cares that their home is being massacred and the longer one stays there the higher the chance of never waking up? People, have a heart!

Where was I? Oh of course. Hal Far. What I'm complaining about is that the damn place is too freaking far away! And I don't have a licence yet, which I'm not intending to get unless it somehow becomes a must. So, an hour and a half bus drive to HOB Software. This company is an internal company of Playmobil. I hate the place by the way. You can die at your desk and no one would notice. I could be slitting my wrists, blood everywhere and no one would glance. And no, I'm not just saying that. Last Friday of last month, I suffered a breakdown. A real one. Had to leave the office at around 1PM. I was crying and whimpering... the guy right in front of me didn't even raise an eyebrow. The guy in charge of me came to see how work was coming along. He saw my face caked in tears and didn't even dare to ask if I was alright. People in there forget I'm breathing!

Can't stand it any longer.

School-wise, assignments have been handed out with cruelty. I own a bloody Macintosh! That means certian Microsoft programs cannot be installed on this thing! Sure, I installed a VM and got XP moving along with it's Blue Screens of Death. First thing that I saw was a Blue Screen! I'm serious! Then, Visual Studio was fucking up. Couldn't finished my assignement and no amount to complaining about it to my lecturer would have him offer any help. His only advice was "Uninstall the Mac OS and install XP." Yeah, sure, and what the fuck should I do with all the info already on my hard drive? The only good news was that I figured out what was bugging VS. I have to hand in my third sit of this damned assignment next Monday. Yes, I have everything, all code thanks to my friends, but I'm so fed up of it I just don't want to finish it! I took a day off from work yesterday to maybe get a good part of the thing ready... I just wasted time. Barely touched the code.

Considering anything else: I wish I could blame writer's block this time! Instead it's goddamn apathy. I get ideas... and don't write them down. I bough a notebook for that particular reason and I still don't write a damn in it! My drawings, the old ones at least, are still untouched. The newer ones are sketched on lined paper and that's where they're staying. My piano is gathering dust again, not really bothered anymore. Health-wise - this is going to sound cliche and girly since I'm a woman but hell - I'm either gaining or just not losing and out of the two, I'd pick not losing. Gaining is bad and not losing is... the lesser of the two evils so better that! Smoking's gone up while activity's going lower. I need to reverse those two...

I need a break from life!

Last Thursday which dates close to exactly two weeks before I sign the apprenticeship contract, I get called for a meeting with The Boss.

As soon as he says to me: "We were reconsidering...." I said, inwardly obviously, "FUCK!!!"

So yeah... I've no sponsor now.

I sent an e-mail to Mr Meilaq, ETC's Executive and I should be having a meeting with him someday next week.

How do you expect me to find a sponsor in less than two weeks?

I've been screwed in all the wrong places... lovely.

I'm... gonna go back to moaning... and chores...

Being a programmer is not that's cracked up to be. Oh, sorry, wrong title. I'm a (ah-HEMMM) Apprentice Analyst/Software Developer. That nice title simply means that I solve other people's problems.

At least, lately, I got a nice portion of my inspiration back. So much so, The Possession: Chapter 6 is almost done. AND, I got a new fanfic... and yes it's based on WoW. Couldn't help it really. In around four days I wrote two chapters I just love chapter two though. Tis sexeh!

Back to business.

I have a huge fuckin' load of things to upload here. Quite a few drawings, a nice amount of comics (oh yeah... I got them all sketched out) and obviously, the chapters.

I need a loooong break.

School will hopefully give me said break. I'm serious. Since the beginning of this month, I've been dying for the damn semester to start again!

I just wanna DIE!!!

A break is nice though, and I seriously need one!

Anyway, putting a halt to moaning and back to typing. I need to upload those chapters... And maybe fix up a few of those drawings.

Well, here it is:

I had an interview with Cyberspace Solutions which went pretty well but for some reason (very usual) they didn't send anything to confirm or reject my coming to a second interview. Very professional I say [/sarcasm]

On the same day I had an interview with Gasan Mamo Insurance. I wasn't even interested in glancing in that company's direction for a job let alone go to the interview, but I went anyway. T'was crap, literally, but at least they sent a letter saying I wasn't chosen. Now there, I was happy (oddly enough during a job hunt)

I also had a group interview with 24: Contact Center. It went great really, what wasn't so great was this bitch who tried to outshine yours truely. Anyway, we were told that the next day we would recieve an e-mail on whether we made it or not to the second interview. I recieved none.

More interviews, this time at Farsons. The damn interview lasted 45minutes And yes, it went awesome


Very soon after, I had an interview at NSO *gaspshockandhorror* The interview was at 09.00. My mum told me the NSO is somewhere near St. Elmo. So I went to St. Elmo. I ask the very unhelpful folk there where the damneed place was yet no one knew. So I went to the police academy and asked there. I found out the shithole's near Victoria Gate. The time was, by then, 09.05. Yes, I was late. Thanks to a couple of guys and their car who escorted me there, I finally arrived.... at 09.20. The interview lasted no more than three minutes. So yeah, it wasn't one of my better days.

Two days after that drainpipe, I had a second interview with Farsons. Around another 45 minutes of yapping from my end. It was tiring to talk so much, but hey, it went well.

Now this becomes interesting. The next day, which was Friday, last week, I recieve a phone call.

It was the NSO.

It seems, these guys are seriously out of luck with getting new employees.

I ranked first from "all" the interviewees. Yeah right.

Not five minutes later, I revieve another call.

It was Farsons.

I started working with them last Tuesday

The software team's pretty cool. They really help out too much. We became friends pretty quick.

One more thing about this lot: they LOVE to party. They'll come up with any excuse to celebrate ANYTHING! This month, for example, they're organizing a BBQ and because one of the team members is retiring, they're all hosting a major bash for the guy. Plus the vouchers and discounts and oh so much more.

Farsons does provide, practically every shop and restaurant, with almost every beverage we have, be it beer, spirits, juices or soft drinks.

Oh, before I forget, on the first day, I had a grand tour of the place. It's amazing! And where they're presently brewing the beers is going to become a museum since they're getting new ovens (or whatever they're called).

Ah well, now I go,

So I signed up, why not.

Last Friday, a group from ETC came over to IICT and I handed in my forms.

After a weekend of malnutrition, overconcentration, panic and insufficient to nil sleep (thanks to my assignments), I decided to check my inbox.

I didn't know and still don't know whether I should laugh or cry.

I recieved five e-mails requesting I send a CV to (hold your breath):
ETC (they actually have TWO openings (?))
NSO (yes, it's freaky. PS: just in case you don't know what NSO stands for National Statistics Office )
Simond Farsons Cisk (they'll find quite a few missing crates of shandy and lager)

Then I find another e-mail from Cyberspace Solutions calling for an interview next Monday. They even called!

Then I got a call from Gasan Mamo Insurance also informing me that I have an interview with them next Monday (thankfully at a much later time)

And now I find another two e-mails, one from EBN Software and one from AtlasTG, also requesting my CV and an interview with 24: Contact Center next Wednesday!

Cruise ships latey have been under attack by a pirate group. Their intention is always the same: rob the passengers and leave. No one yet has been harmed. The pirate group consists of Elvis, Braveheart and a short ninja, each carrying deadly weapons.

Ok I'm gonna shut up now *dies laughing* The above was a wacky idea a friend of mine came up with. He wanted to dress up as Elvis armed with a pair guitar-case flamethrowers. Then another friend wanted to be Braveheart swinging a giant battleaxe. "Elvis" asked me to join in and told me I could be a ninja (I'm kinda short compared to them ) and I'd be carrying 68 different concealed weapons. Plus we'd hijack cuise ships by submarine.

Humor aside: I HATE ASSIGNMENTS! Thanks to the teacher's strike a couple of weeks ago - which also lasted a couple of weeks, we were handed assignments to finish off before the end of the year which is around ANOTHER TWO WEEKS FROM NOW!

Next week I have to hand in four, 4, FOUR, assignments: 2 home and 2 class. The two class assingments aren't much of a worry, it's the home assignments which is choking me! One is to be handed in next Monday (was supposed to be tomorrow but thankfully our lecturer is merciful) and another on Tuesday (it's Hell to finish).

I'm gonna die!!!

Oh and tomorrow I have a resit. Lovely.

Today being the 30th of March means one thing which has lost its meaning about two or three years ago. It's my birthday today and I've just turned nineteen (lovely....)

Something on a more positive note: Chapter 5: Heart's Embrace is finally coming on nicely. Just a few more pages and I'll upload it.

Also concerning The Possession, I'm was very happy to hear from ~ReddSuiko (he is so going to kill me now) that my writing has actually caused him nightmares! Mind you, I send him the to-be-chapters over MSN and everytime he's prone to brandishing one ludicrous weapon or another (such as a peanut)

On to art as in drawings, yes I have a few - about four - pictures done in my graphic style. Just need to redraw them neatly on plain white paper... though I still have a few of those colored styled sheets left, I might draw them on those. Anyway, that means keep an eye out for new devz.

Last but not least: Is it me or these so called RPG sites or MMORPGs obsess only on PvPs and levelling? Am I the only one who's sick of levelling and getting killed (or almost) everyday by dumbshits who only attack you because: a) you're hoarding gold (to buy something), or b) you had gold at one point in time and are attacking you day in day out till comes the time where you need to buy something else... oh or c) they're too proud of their level? Seriously, what happened to the anagram RP in these sites?

Hmm...

Movie-wise, my mum, bro and I watch I Am Legend, not last Saturday but the one before. Grand movie. GO WATCH IT!! Was fun to see my mum cower behind her jacket every five minutes though *snicker* And last Saturday, ~ReddSuiko and I went to watch Hitman. Had the entire theatre for ourselves! I totally loved the film. I need to play... one of the games... Any one of them!

So much for freaking out...

Next on the list of rants:
Don't. Trust. Maltese. Bus Drivers. If you look cute or sexy or simply appeal to them, they're gonna try to get to you in a very friendly manner. I just went with the flow and bummed the ass whatever I could bumm him and left him with his inhaler and his packet of smokes missing a few... whatever.

Something more... of my interest (and my obsession of the moment): ~ReddSuiko will one day kill me after I kill him with cliffhangers. I type a part chapter and send it to him and he screams at me all because I just didn't finish it. I'M EVIL!

I have like... at least eight chapters which I started and haven't completed all because they fit somewhere like... chapter 18, 24, 28, 32 blabla. (Yes I think ahead). I just want to finish off Yule/December. Then I have January to worry about... possibly a birthday in there. Then We have February (). By then I'd be somewhere, such as, chapter.. umm... 20. February is going to be long. March too. Darn.

Oh and by the way. I want to make an official thanks to ~ReddSuiko (his name comes up a lot don't it? Hehe. He's a very good friend of mine) since as I was yapping about the book and chapter and whatnot, he said (translation...) "It's going to be a great movie". Thank you for believing in me mate. One chapter I'm still baffled at typing - don't ask me why I'm typing it now and not then - is Chapter 28. Ok, so some of you may have just had a heart attack (sorry about that). I'm not going to say a word about this chapter except it's title-at-the-moment, which is True Ascension - You figure it out!

I wish I found out on the day.

I couldn't believe it at first, but it's true.

Last Monday, 29th October - in New South Wales, Australia.

My best friend died.

Ritienne Farrugia was a very good friend of mine. We met at STC about three years ago. We both had enrolled for the IT Essentials I class. It was fun. We had fun. We were close friends ever since. She helped me through my problems and was always there when I needed her. She was the perfect shoulder to cry on. In turn, I tried and did my best to be with her when she needed. I was the one who'd put a smile on her face. I was the one who'd make her laugh.

There were other people close to her... but we were as close as sisters. In my heart, she was my sister. In hers, she held me the same way. The last time I spoke to her, we were on MSN. She was happy. Nothing amiss.

This morning I find out, from her ex, that she overdosed on anti-depressants. I didn't know she was under medication. She never told me. I didn't believe him. It was too... odd. Untill I called her at her home.

Her father picked up. He told me there was an accident... He told me she passed away.

I was devastated.

She was twenty years old. Next February she would've seen her twenty-first.

Just last month, I told her I was saving to visit her in July. She asked me to come in August. In two years time we were supposed to move in the same house some place in Sydney.

I spent a lot of time with her father on the phone. He offered me to buy me an open ticket, just to spend some time with them in Australia. I still don't know if I should go.

I've cried to much and too long.

Nothing I can do can change this now.

I know, she'd want me to move along and not drag this episode with me.

She'll be remembered every Samhain.

She'll be remembered everyday.

What happened? Here's what the fuck happened!

I have an account on FanFiction.Net, that's where I upload my Jak and Daxter fiction stories and where I usually read most fanfics. Now I haven't been able to update any of my fics for well over a year - my main reason being writer's block; lasted six months or so.

Anyway, I came up with this idea. I decided to write an Author's Note. Author's Notes are not allowed on the site but chances are that if you read, say, ten fanfics, you'll find that at least four of them have a chapter entitled "Author's Note".

My Author's Note ( [link] )is very decent, informing my readers... those who are still interested at least, of the few things I had in mind. If y'all wanna read it, go ahead.

The note is only there temporarily. All I asked for was a few ideas and suggestions from my readers before I start rewriting the story, delete the current one and uplaod the new chapters.

Here's where the shit starts! I got an e-mail with a review. First thing which popped into my head was "Yay, something to work on: suggestions, ideas - people are still interested in my work." Unfortunately for me, that wasn't the case. This ass by the alias ~Boo ( [link] ) saw that I had uploaded an Author's Note (Le GASP!). Seeing that I had breached the rules he took action! He wrote an annonymous review - the ass didn't even sign in, what the fuck is up with him? The idiot! And I recieved his review which simply said:

"Author's Notes are not allowed. Reported"

Seriously. WHAT THE FUCK?? Did he even read the note? And Hellooo! There are so many writers out there who upload such notes, so they can inform their readers of whatever the circumstances are, he had to find mine annoying!? What is he, an enforcer of the site's rules and regulations??

The most important fuck-up is that the note and the story are going to remain there for only a short period of time before the whole thing is deleted. I swear I'd strangle the asshole.

And why is it that I'm the one who always ends up dealing with the globe's population of nitwits??

I'm riling and I don't care.

He completely pissed me off.

So... first of all, I got a job!! And me likes it plus it pays nice Ok so it's through commissions mostly but the lump sum at the end of the month is delicious

School-wise... I got accepted into MCAST! They scared me half dead! For cryin' out loud! I spent two weeks waiting for the admission letter and it never arrived! To make matters worse, ~Audrey-Tifa took the same damned course I did. In computers, I'm more qualified than she is and guess what... she got the freakin' letter last Monday! I had to go to Rahal il-Gdid just to check if my name's listed. That's 80 bloomin' cents out of my wallet! For Hell's sake!!! Now to see when I gotta pay the fee =_= Lm150..... bugger.

On to a more "friendler" subject... The Alley is a godsend!! Last night was incredible. Besides the fact that almost all my friends were there... they played Make Me Believe I was gonna faint At 23.30 or so FREE GIG!! by Abysmal Torment. The place is now officially the best rock bar in Paceville. It's better than Remedy's good ol' days. Ow... my neck and spine hurt. Doing this -> for an amount of time kills your neck muscles. At least the moshpit was good

A little sidenote conserning the above... from Terranova, yes Terranova, I bought a black scarf covered in sculls and t-shirt with some bronze design on it plus a shiny scull. My mum loved them, my bro liked them, my friends were all "They're so cool" especially the scarf which I tied around my hips (the thing's one big huge sqare)... my dad is conserned that I turned into a steriotypical Satanist or somethin'. He gave a flippin' lecture about the paranormal being bullshit AND he believes that someone turned me into something I'm not meaning a rocker. I just wanted to bash him to a wall and slap him till he falls unconscious. WTF? Jeez, man! He belives I should be a prep!! Can I die? No, wait. Someone kill him please!

What 'GOWII' means is God of War II. A game I just rented.... and I just remembered that I forgot to take a DVD back >.< Tomorrow will cost me Lm1...damnit!

Anyway, God of War II. What's so special about it that I would put up a journal here. Well, similar to what I had done with Splinter Cell, only I only have a small thing to say about the first level.

First level is... Kratos, new god of war, decends to fight along his Spartan army. Athena realizes she made a huge mistake in making the man what he is now and bla bla bla... PLAY THE GAME!

The first level includes a mini bosses with Colossus. Who's Colossus? Well, he's actually a big bad ass fuckin' statue you have to get rid of. Kratos is the size of the thing's eye for freak's sake! What I wish to share with you all are a few instances - three in all - where the game takes on a hilarious twist, and here they are in all their funny glory(!):



So, there's this scene where Kratos enters this room and the statue decided to make him a visit by kicking through the wall and "mistakenly" stomps on him. Kratos holds the big ass foot and pushes it off of him so as to not become chewing gum on the bottom the ass's stone sandles. After gods know how many times I had to hit the circle button, Kratos literally throws the fuckin statue yards away by the thing's foot!



Mini Boss: Kratos is screaming at the top of his lungs that he's all high and mighty and shit like that. Colossus doesn't seem to like his self-prais so the thing starts pounding him with his fist!

Actual Game Play Scenario:

Kratos: I AM THE GOD OF WAR!
Statue: *pounds him with its fist* -BOOM-
Kratos: YOU WILL SUFFER!
Statue: *pounds him with its fist* -BOOM-
Kratos: NONE SHALL DEFY ME!
Statue: *pounds him with its fist* -BOOM-



There's one other scene which is plain dumb. Kratos is in a sort of tower, statue is outside and looks at the man through the window, Kratos has daggers, statue's eye is in the window, Kratos is NEAR the window, statue ends up with a huge pain in the eye...

I was chatting with ~ReddSuiko on MSN, when I told him about the eye thing he told me: "Does it have a brain?"

Actually no since you actually go inside the damned thing's head to destroy it...

1 - When I was 12 I was somewhat an expert on astrology. Need to pick it up again. Such a cool subject.

Anyway, I started a new martial art, free style combat actually. But it's fun and thank Gods, stress-free. Got a grading soon... if I don't get an A our sensei will cut my head off with his katana which he keeps near his desk. By the way, our sensei is a good friend of mine so that's a plus. So you're all asking: "What the heck are you talking about??" Ok, let me start from the beginning....

Last month I ordered a particular book the Agenda at Embassy. It had to be shipped from America - an odd order in their view since books are usually shipped from the UK. It's been around... six weeks or so. Yesterday I was trying to get into the correct mood for a character in The Possession ( I can't type a thing if I don;t have the feel, if you know what I mean...). iTunes was blasing something at me when I heard my brother screaming at me from his room: "Deb!! Mobile!!" Sure enough it was my mobile phone squeaking its tune trying to get my attention. It was an employee from Agenda informing me that the book arrived. This morning I got up at around nine, waited for my mum to leave to work (bro was at school sitting for an exam), then I rushed out of the house, on a bus and straight to Valletta and got the book...

Why is this book so important? Because my dear watchers, it's Godsmack's lead singer's autbiography - or as Sully Erna puts it: a memoir. Till now I've read that he had a really tough life as a kid. Yeesh! Not my kind of life thank you very much... There a photos of him here - there are a couple of him with shoulder length curlyhair! It's freaky......

Anyway... I got the other half of the book to finish. The man's got one heck of a sense of humor I must admit that!

Trying to find a job proved... in a way, successful. So I waitress - or rather, I used to. I started last weekend and I also quit last weekend. Can't stand the place. But! I applied at two other restaurants and I don't know what now...

Some good news - after ranting for a bit - I'm getting a new computer without my dad knowing it. HA! Another...hmm... two weeks or so and voila' - iMAC. *victory dance* My dad's in Peru soooooo who gives a damn!

I just need to print this damned CV and I'm off this PC. Bloody libraries...

Yes, people... my PC died and I have a shot to proove it. Too bad it's on my mobile phone. Dad thinks he can fix it... yeah right. The thing's stuck in an infinate loop! When Windows tries to load it restarts.

I do believe that it's about time I got myself a new computer. The piece of scrap metal has been standing (somehow working) for eight years. Tried to upgrade it... it couldn't be upgraded unless I changed the motherboard(!) The reason: it holds DIMM modules as RAM, not DDRs. DIMMs are rare and expensive. Period.

Yesterday, me, Mum and my friend ~ReddSuiko went to check out the Macs and they're gorgeous! Damn I want one!! I'll hear loads of complaints from my pro-Microsoft Dad cause he hates Apple (dunno why), but at least I'll have a computer which works.

Till then I'll just have to wait and use the college computers, bleh...

Bro got Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.

I got, as stated in the title, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. And believe me... it was chaos alright! I would have prefered to play the first of the series but: 1) Splinter Cell was sold, and 2) Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow was no where to be seen. So it was either Chaos Theory or the new one Double Agent. Game No. 3 was the pick.

First mistake... I didn't watch the training videos for the sake of the game, but more just for fun. If you're gonna play this game without trying out the first two... study the videos!!

Let's begin...

Mission 1: Lighthouse

Up the rocks and into the cave and I'm up with two guards, a bridge and a spot light shinig on said bridge.

First fuck up - One guard goes into a room at the end of the bridge, the other walks around. As soon as guard No. 2 walked away from me, I went up and straight across the bridge without thinking twice about the bloody light blowing my cover completely. My mistake was gifted with showers of lead shot by the two guards from their machine guns.

Second fuck up - I tried to grab the guard by surprize from behind him. First time I did it, the ass turned around and saw a big guy in black about to grapple him. The result was bullets. The second time I blasted touched him. The result was also bullets and the third time, I did kill him but got bulleted still, by him and his friend on the other side(!)

Third fuck up - While hiding I told my bro that Sam Fisher can whistle and on cue I pressed the goddamned R2 button. Result: Bullets from an M-16 machine gun.

Out of the cave (finally...took me 2 hours(!) ) I have to save this Morgenholt guy. I walk down the watery slope, seeing his shadow revolt everytime he got electrocuted. There are two guards inside, one of them says somethin' about the man's ears being too small or something as pathetic as that. I believe the same said guard says he's out for a walk. I'm still near the bloomin' slope and take out my SC-20K to shoot the ass with. I'm aiming straight. The ass comes along and passes the crosshairs. His hips pass the corsshairs... and I shoot like crazy. To make things even more interesting, I'm trying to bloody aim at him... only I ended up shooting the wall infront of him. He thanks me with his machine gun and so does his friend in the torture room.

Passed that (after I have no idea how many time) too bad for Morgenholt or whatever his name is and past the first checkpoint. Getting rid of two uniformed idiots I find myself behind a door and use the optic cable to see what's behind before I go in like a supreme lord expecting to see his followers flat on their faces...

I see absolutely nothing. Pitch black so the obvious thing would be the night vision. Still can't see much, put on the thermal. Then I see a guy walking towards the door and all I see is his legs.

Here's my advice... move away from the door as soon as you see the man walking towards you. This is why:

Suddenly I hear him say: "This has to be forced!" Camera goes flaying like crazy. The ass kicked the door open while I was still behing it...

Mission 2: Maria Narcissa

It's a ship btw... Not too many fuck ups here, but I'm still gonna list them.

Fuck up Numero Uno - I'm off to get the Bill of Lading, one of my objectives. I get it no problem, but it was getting out of the room which made a mess. Two guards walk down the corridor outside the room. The door of said room I'm in is closed. I decided to slide the damned thing open anyway. I kill the one that comes in but he's soon avenged by his comrade, and interestingly enough... I get bullets as presents.

Good thing I had saved a little before, right after I got the document. I am finally able to go out without the two spotting me. How to get past them was the new problem. Luckily I find a little shaft and find myself below the two in question. I walk the whole corridor and wait patiently in the other shaft before I go up because one guard hadn't moved from his post. As soon as he does, he stops near the shaft I'm in, looks down and without a word or sound, fires an entire round of lead into my skull.

Fuck up Numero Due - I'm in the engine room and I'm informed that there's a gas leak, so no fire power. I'm rid of the two guards at my level and go up the metal staircase. The guard up there sees me. Quite interestingly enough, Sam had said that he could smell the gas, this asshole couldn't and shot me. We were watching The Scorpion King and after the movie I browsed through the extra features and found the music video (I Stand Alone... love that song ) ... it's so damned cool; personally the best I've seen. And at one point in time... my dad just sat up and said the following:

Any die hard fan would be tellin me "about friggin time!!", I only got into the fandom this year so bear with me.

Yesterday I roamed the band's official website. Took a peek at the forums. Is it me or does no one out there seem to realize what the guy is actually saying in the songs??

I'm not limiting to just those two. I'm mean after I listened to them I'm seeing past the songs, most songs at least, straight into its essence. The man has guts.. bad ass guts to be exact. For Precursors' sake! They're all written and sung with the "This is me. Love me or hate me" attitude.

Releasing the Demons is so distorted with rage, hate and so much pain, I was about to scream. I didn't cause it was 7:30AM and I was on a friggin bus.

Serenity... ok so I admit. I cried. I was on my way to MCAST - yes on a bus - straight after college (yes I'm crazy) and I bloody cried. I didn't make a scene or anything but Hell, like I could hold back the tears after that!

I'm still miserable, I feel sick and no where near in a joyful mood. The guy must've definately been through Hell and back again too many times than he should have. I've grown to respect him too much.

All I wanna say is that whenever you listen to any of his songs, be nice and show respect. The man's been through shit we can't even begin to imagine.

Good news is that I got my iPod up and runnin' (yay, me fave songs on the move!!!) Though I still love my radio; my dear sweet Nokia mobile phone, how can I choose iPod over you?? Hold a sec... I got all the Godsmack albums in there. *gasp* Where's my iPod???

Another setback I got from this new setting is the Media Player. If I had known that WMP v10 was that pathetic and crappy and so full of shit to work with I wouldn't have updated it. I was very content with v9.5. v9 was stupid. v9.5 was awesome. v10 is downright fucked up. I tried to uninstall it but for some stupid reason you need the friggin' Windows CD to remove it. Why? I don't know. I had *ahem* borrowed the CD from a friend of mine. I'll ask him for it again next time so then I can get my beloved Media Player back. For the moment I gotta use iTunes as a substitute. It ain't bad but I prefer WMP - v9.5

I sooo need to get more RAM for this thing - I got only 128, can't find any that will match the damned motherboard (yes, it's that old). I need a new tower. The graphic card is so dead - it can't support a thing (almost). I want my surround system back - gotta nag my Dad to get it back from his office. Like he ever uses it there. Damn, just found out I gave the keyboard the wrong language settings. Grrrr...

Where was I? Oh yeah, complaining. Believe me both my brother and I agree that for some reason... we prefer 98SE to XP. The only reason I decided to upgrade was because the information superhighway, i.e.: the internet, no longer supports it. I was gettin gto many crashed due to spyware and Gods know how many viruses and shit. Formatting was a must. Fullstop.

I want my Media Player!!!!!!!!

On a better note (just to change the subject peeps) I started Ninjutsu again. Summer can wear you down. Too hot on this pathetic excuse of an island. Anyways, I can now indulge in protein again with the excuse that I need it for my training. I'm starting the gym soon so I can do my best in that dojo. Too many assholes dragging you down in there - need to slam them to the wall someday. Revenge is so sweet

For some odd reason our sensei wants us to go to a military supermarket and buy a combat uniform... can't wait to see what's on his mind!! And I need to buy a couple of *ahem* harmless weapons: like a boken for instance, and a hambo... a jo... a bo... shuriken... Oh yeah! And I want a CC-99: very handy, light-weight, very accurate and a really sweet gun.

Ya just go spend an hour correcting an exercise or two and that's it!! At least I ain't skyving any more *big halo* French was such an interesting class to skyve. We also used to do boycotts for the Computing seminars. Hehe... I used to miss the first class often.. it was usually Accounting. I'd arrive 20 minutes late, as if I'll go in!! This year all I'm skyving is one class a week and that's a Systems class: I can't stand the guy. He teaches the four walls of the room, NOT the students - and most of 'em are either asleep, doing some other class homeword, texting, sleeping, listening to the radio (guilty!) or doodling, completely oblivious to his teaching. 60 multiple choice questions in 75 minutes - the questions were... how shall I put this... not easy at all.

Half the class left with tears in their eyes. You've got 3 chances to pass the exam as with the module tests. To pass, you must get 70% of the responses correct. Most of the class got 62% and used all three tries. This one guy got a 68% on his last try... and that's still a FAIL!!! I tried the exam twice: the first time I got a 61.8% the second time, 59.8%

Our teacher said he'll try to fix something and decided for another exam date. We'll get a new set of course notes and hopefully (dear Goddess I hope!) we'll all pass.

Liam (our teacher) was entirely pissed! The tests and exams are from an international board. They decide what and what not to put in the goddamned paper (though it was an online exam (!) ) He helped with quite a bit of answers during the exam and yet no one could pass. He couldn't believe it! The first thing he's gonna do is a report (!)

If ya wanna know how really pissed he was lemme tell you this... I had a problem with a particular question; the mouse suddenly wouldn't scroll; he fixed it..... by bashing it four times to against the table.

One minute of silence please for the deceased mouse.







Ok, one minute gone. I'll see if can take a picture of it uploaded cause he totalled it!! Well, at least his little feat took out minds off our depressing moments with the exam.

So, yeah I had a very interesting day today. Bleh!

I've got two sets: IJJ Swiss deck and the MSB, plus I got interested in buying either the Cosmic deck or maybe the Spiritual deck - haven't bought them yet...

I wanna make the Major Arcana......then......if I've got absolutely nothing to do........the Minor Arcana...............yes I'm crazy.

How in the many realms of Hell am I gonna be able to make 78 cards????

I wonder if I should make them graphic-like? Hmmm, 22 cards starting from The Fool down to The World. I'll give them different names though ¬_¬ especially the first card!

Or else I can adopt a different style....OH! I'll just see as I go!

I've got three fics on FF.NET and I've somehow been able to update ONE chapter. And it was for a short story!!!!! The longer chapters are dying to get finished and updated and reviewed and the rest!!!!!

I wanna destroy this curse!!! To make matters a slight bit worse, I hafta study for my remaining module tests for Network+... the final exam is in October. After I do that, back to college =_=

Bleh...

I'm gonna go read a few Jak and Daxter fics with loads of humor in them and then maybe some that'll give me a bit of inspiration

Now unless I got something wrong with my calculation...none of my avatars will upload cause according to the system, they ain't 50x50. I've got this cool bloody eyeball I wanna upload: it's 3kb and exactly 50x50.

I've tried uploading one which was 2kb in size and 48x48...system said it ain't 50x50...*sigh*

It's August, the peek of summer... and it rained. It's humid, kinda sticky, grey clouds are everywhere, WHAT THE HECK IS GOIN' ON???????

This ain't normal!!!!! Especially here. Guys, Malta ain't no rainforest. It's mostly dry here - summer = hot, dry weather...NOT RAIN! And 32 degrees? Creepy.... it's usually hittin' 40 degrees!!

Now if it was END September, sure why not. But August?
