i. I'm moved into my new apartment. My room is tiny, but that's a good thing. Now I'll have to keep it clean, and now I have absolutely no room to be a pack-rat like I have the potential to be. TEH WHOO. Time to hunt for TVXQ/SuJu/BIGBANG posters to un-white my walls with.

ii. I can officially afford my trip to Seoul next year (without starving). YAY. YAYAYAYAYAYAY. Next step: find clothes that won't embarrass the hell out of me and my friend. And maybe try to get my blonde hair back. And get a new camera. AND obtain ~hackid's Yoshi to take pictures of/with while I'm there.

Myarr. I'll be busy. Oo;;

iii. My jaw surgery is sneaking up rather quickly. December! Then it's smoothies and chicken broth for the next six weeks. Skinny much? With luck, the braces will be off by June/July. Which is good. Then I can flash my new smile all over Korea. :]

iv. Hmm. That's it for now. I'll update more when classes start? Maybe?

1) Spring break is coming to a close, and I finally got around to cleaning the room after my wonderful roommate left the place a pit. Thanks. I really appreciate that. -___-;;

2) The whole week has been devoted to work, reading, and the above activity. The alone time has been nice. I actually don't really look forward to losing it. Oh well - that's school.

3) My notebooks are filling themselves again - hopefully something productive will come from it. :/

4) I hate taxes. With a passion.

5) Haa, my week hasn't been that exciting.

Anyhoo, will give you a real update when something exciting happens.

I've made my way back to work and in less than a month I will have the money I need to go to Progpower IX with Misty in September.

And National Treasure: Book of Secrets wasn't terrible.

I can finally play at the expert level on Guitar Hero III.
And I'm slowly getting better at DDR.

I got over my "I can't write" mantra and started scribing for Luc, Aiden and Cyrus again.

James Franco is in fact going to be attending Iowa.

Former students, you can submit too (as far as I know).
Tyler Baird (a.k.a. 'The Sophomore') moved to Texas this summer, but he still wants to contribute to our magazine, which I'm really happy about.

I'm also debating which (if any) of my art I should submit.

Anyone have any specific piece in mind?

Same goes for my writing.

I'm thinking about having a contest for our Lit Mag cover...who knows? maybe we'll get more art submissions that way.
I'll ask fellow members today; see what they think.

Dunno why, but all of my old works are interesting me again (REAPER's important, yes....but I keep getting the nagging feeling that I need to go back and tie up the loose ends...and do the job well).

Stories in need of finishing (That are more than four years old):

The Tales of Thalion Elena (42 pages total - in fanfic form)

For now, these are my priorities.

Until I get these finished, I can't go on to any other stories. I just...mentally...can't.

Great, I'm at it about games again.....
...and sitting here staring at a blinking cursor trying to figure out how to start off a new story. It's like THE BLOCK has long known my weaknesses.
Stupid block. I'm going to beat you. Beat you with a shoe and poke you in the eye with a pencil. Make you bleed until there's enough there to paint my school's cafeteria floor three times.

Bah, I shouldn't be so discouraged about it. I can't force writing to flow from my fingertips.
Pff, I shouldn't be so discouraged about everything else, for that matter! Sure, life might throw a funky pitch or three, but sitting there waiting for them to strike me out won't help. The best thing for me to do is swing away and hope to God I don't kill the first baseman in the process.

Mmmmf.

I've been in a horrible fog lately.
It's all so clouded. Where I am and where I'm going is all such a mystery.
But mysteries make for a good story or two.
So long as I stay in the light, I won't fall into darkness.

IN THE NEWS:

-Found out my left eardrum is perforated. Again. Just 13% this time around. I go in for surgery on the 21st. Just a day before prom, but this surgery's pretty dry, so I'll be in/out and on my way in a day. Yip yip.

-(the Family) closed on our new house today. FINALLY! No more living at the grandparents' house. I GET WALLS! HAPPY!

-Joined the world of (semi-updated) technology; finally convinced the parents to buy a PS2 (and Kingdom Hearts - though I want II, I think it'd be better for me to beat the first one). I hope it's not the end of me (it most likely will be).
Hey, at least the kids in Physics can't completely pity me now! ^-^

-Fullmetal Alchemist withdrawls. Need. Money. For. Worthy. Episodes. Good thing I've found an OVA site that will give me the fix I need to remain...stable?

-Started a few new fanfic. Continued my backstory for hackid's REAPER. It's coming along quite nicely. I like it so far. Continuation occuring in my other literary works, too.
