I've come to realize that most people can't seem to READ A SIGN. At work, when we're closing up the shop, the door's locked and the lights are off, BUT STILL, people come up to the door and pull on it. They look in the windows, looking for someone to come open. Sometimes I hear them from the back room, going "Omg! They're closed! DDD:" Well duh...

One time, we were already out the door and I was ready to lock it when someone came up and asked "Can you get me a rose?" I did, just cuz...it was one rose. But then they asked for five more: "Oh, and while you're at it-" >.>

Please, read the signs. They were invented for a reason.

My brother and I rescued a dog yesterday. A Scottish Terrier was dragged aways down the road where my grandma has her real estate office by a car, or truck, and ended up in the office parking lot. When she opened the door, he ran inside and hid. She called us and we went to get him out of the office. He was missing fur all along his left side from his shoulder to his tail, and he was bleeding a lot from the tail. We took him to the animal shelter where they said they would call a vet to go look at him later (it was Sunday and all the vets were closed).

So I called today, and I found out that his owners went to pick him up from the shelter. Apparently they were looking for him. Which is good! I was hoping he wouldn't have to stay in the shelter for long, even if I had to bring him home myself.

Saw Leonard Nemoy and Tyrese Gibson, and Matthew Wood ( the voice of General Grievous

). I got to talk to the Spongebob cast and got some autographs. They were awesome. I also got to meet Simon Furman, which was also awesome!

And of course I snagged plenty of loot. I picked up G1 Tracks, Gears, and Beachcomber, as well as a neat TF artbook and the Con exclusive Soundwave. I now have a new Tribble and a Mudkip plushie.

*sigh* but it's over again. Looking forward till next year.

Here's what I'll do. I will do pen dragon drawings (or griffin). Why dragons? Because I'll be pressed for time real soon and those are the quickest for me to get done in a small time frame. (And also because everyone likes dragons!

These drawings will be $10 and monochromatic. You can choose which color you want it in:

The same colors apply here too. These types of dragons will be $5. They are a little bit smaller drawings. (They're good for cutting out as bookmarks)

The drawing will be done on 8.5 x 11 printer paper. I will send you the original drawing in the mail for you to keep, or if you'd rather, I will send you a hi-res scan by email, or both! Just a reminder though, my scanner likes to mutilate colors, but I will get it the closest to the actual ink as possible.

I do have Paypal, and it's preferred, but I may be able to work out something with you.

Reminds me of when I was talking to someone from the east coast. I said where I was from and then they say, "New Mexico? I thought they only spoke Spanish there?" I was just "no...."

But it's pretty much half & half, English & Spanish. My grandma also told me stories of when she was young and used to work at the bank in town. People from out of state would come and try to exchange their US currency because they thought they were in Mexico. XD

I get to make a bunch of corsages next week. They take time and concentration, but they're fun to make. I like doing it.

And yes, from experience, I suggest ordering them right away. Not only will you not have to worry about getting it last minute, but you'll be sure to get a good, quality job done on it. Sometimes people come in because they forget and they need one immediately. It takes several minutes to complete a corsage, and in my opinion when you're in a rush to make it, it doesn't come out as nice. Plus, sometimes you have to use leftover flowers that won't last as long because everything else was already taken.

Just a little heads-up for anyone who's going this year. And as always, have fun and be safe!

I gots a ton of messages to go through.

It's hot over here, like almost a hundred degrees hot. And it's worse when there's no air conditioning in your car. But at least we get rain every once in a while.

I have lots of stuff I want to draw and get done but I've been too busy lately to finish anything. Mostly I'm too tired by the time I get home to do anything. I'm backed up on stuff. So it's for this reason that I won't be doing smeets anymore. I'm sorry to those who asked for them, but I've gotten requests for so many, I can't keep up. At least through the summer I won't be accepting any, but if things aren't too bad by the time fall comes around, maybe I'll open it up again. Sorry everyone! One thing I'm thinking of doing is a smeet tutorial. They're very simple to draw and I think people would have fun drawing their own. It sounds like a good idea.

It's still hot. Even at night. @_@
