[Jan 21 2009]
Due to lack of participation on the fanart contest, I've now permanently closed the contest. Plus due to lack of activity going on within the club (hardly any notes nowadays or any interesting BMFM news to update you all, etc.), it'll be on "idle mode". Meaning the club is NOT dead -it just lacked any sort of progress or activity to keep the club up-beat. Most of the fans, including me, have left the fandom and embraced a new obsession (and went on with their lives).
It's been drawing and obsessed with BMFM for 8 long years and it's a memory that I shall forever cherish. However now, it's left in my personal history book as I officially retire from the fandom (last year around October). Those who are still drawing and loving the warm fuzzy bike-loving rootbeer-holic muscle bums, I admire ya -and keep loving them for me.

ANNOUNCEMENT / UPDATES

[Oct 27] The Halloween 2008 FanArt contest is officially closed due to the lack of entries and so *FabFelipe -the only participant of the contest- won by default.

By this, I'll start the Christmas Fan Art contest now, albeit Christmas is 2 months away -this will give you more time to plan and submit your entry. But aside from that, this will be the club's FINAL fanart contest. They'll be no more from next year onwards unless by demand.

I'm implying this to my lack of commitment to the club and also for the lack of participants since March. I'm both disappointed and fed up, seriously. But I'm not saying I'm leaving the club for good because (ok I really wish but...) -hell, there's technically no one looking after the club, so I'll check now and then at least once a week to keep tabs on join applications and add new cannon BMFM fanarts to the club's +favourites.
I'm NOT going to turn the club into a 'submission' club or something like that as most clubs do, to promote the club. I don't see any point to it when all you can do is just type "Biker Mice From Mars" on the DA search and you can browse through all the fanarts from there.

The highest votes so far out of 38 votes are *Halferreus and *FabFelipe, both shares 17 votes ((now pardon me for ranting but...c'mon, where is everyone? There's 200+ members and only 38 voted?? What's the point joining the club if you guys aren't active?!? Ooookay, I seem lackadaisical with running the club nowadays, so I may have no right to rant that way, but seriously... this has been happening way back since I started this club)). Although I'm still busy with collage life, I might revive the fanart contest (if all of you are not so busy at this time, otherwise I may postpone the contest to a suggested suitable time for your convenience) -however I'm out of ideas so I'd appreciate some suggestions from you all.

How do I join the club?

To join the club, send in your request to join via the Note with the subject "Join", by clicking the "Send a note" on our main page (above) on your right.

Why is my artwork removed from your +favourites after I've joined the club?

This is because we're following DA's rules/policy for group/club accounts [link]
We could only add non-members into our +favourites list.

How do I submit my entry for the BMFM Fan Art Contest

Send us the URL of your entry via the Note with the subject "Entry", by clicking the "Send a note" on our main page (above) on your right. Your entry must be uploaded in your DA account, and no-where else (ie : image hosting site, website, etc).
You must be a member, if you want to participate in our Fan Art Contest.

How do I send my vote for the contest?

We'll be sending a mass BMFM notification (to all members) when it's time to vote, via the Note. You can reply the note we've sent to you with your vote.
However, there will be times when we do not have the time to send notes to everyone in the members' list, due to personal irl [in-real-life] reasons. So please, add us to your +Watch list with the 'journal' ticked on -to keep tabs for updates in the club. So, if you do not recieve a notification Note shortly within an hour or less from us after updating our journal -announcing that it's time to vote -send in your vote with word "Vote" in the subject, and write the name of the participant you wish to vote for, below it.
Reminder : You can only vote for ONE participant/entry, and those who've participated can NOT vote for their own entry.

Well, guys, I think it would be prudent at this juncture to give everyone a break from contests. The next one won't start until after the first of the year. NEXT CONTEST [Closed]
THEME: Draw an X-mas scene featuring yourself OR any of your BMFM-related characters ((you can draw more than one if you please)) together with any (or all) of the Biker Mice (and of course, other original characters too, like Stoker, Rimfire...etc). The scene is up to you, even a sweet and romantic one like under a misteltoe ((whatsoever it's correctly spelled)) *wink* It can be funny, or warm with the spirit of Christmas all around.

Since DA could only allow subcribers to use the 'Search' now, I'm unable to search for any new BMFM artworks from non-members and those whom I haven't added in the watch-list, I can't add any BMFM piccies into the clubs favourites (which works like our club's gallery of BMFM artworks). Plz, if you've submitted any new BMFM-related artworks, leave a note on our club's comment (or 'devious thoughts' as it's called) on your update. Especially if any of you is a subscriber, plz update us of any new BMFM artworks you've found through the search, for us by using the keyword "BMFM" and "Biker Mice From Mars" ((as well as "Throttle" / "Vinnie" / "Modo" ))
