haven't been here for a while, as i didn't take any photographs worth sharing since 2004. last weekend we were on holiday (Riederalp VS, Switzerland, with ~creatyves, ~fritsch and Marco & Marc), which gave me the opportunity to take a few pictures... i'll share some...

i'm currently working on my master thesis and will finish it in about two months, so i still won't be able to hang around dA very much.

i've been and still am very busy with semester projects @ university and other work. as a result of this, as you may have noticed, i've not submitted any work since april. due to these time constraints, i've only taken few pictures, and none were worth submitting to .

only recently did i find the time to at least answer all the comments/favs/watches... sorry about the delay...

i still have 1,077 new messages ( 825D | 252J ) to go through, and right now my work has higher priority, so don't fret if i haven't commented your new deviation yet...

I have 6,472 pageviews total and my 33 deviations were viewed 9,458 times, with 13,806 fullviews, for a grand total of 23,264 views.
Overall, people left 1,500 comments and added my deviations to their favourites 656 times, while I commented 1,229 times, averaging 8.53 comments per day, which means that I received 12 comments for every 10 that I gave.

i got a new cam! only a minor upgrade from the old faithful Sony Cybershot DSC-F707 to the F717. i got it secondhand from *fritsch, who is now proud owner of a Nikon D70. thanks my friend!

i was hangin' around at 's together with , , ~V0llm0nd and Marc... some had not seen my newest picture yet, so i showed it to them on ~jeybee's computer... i was very happy to see that the number of comments & favourites had already jumped considerably since i last checked when i left home earlier that evening...

it wasn't until i got home i noticed i got my first DTF! i was so i was awake until after the sun got up again...

has become my 3rd most popular (measured in # favs ) photograph already.

one day after my last journal entry, i ordered a couple of dA prints. today, roughly 2 weeks later, they arrived.
since i saw creatyves's prints last november, i knew they would rock. the quality is really stunning! a photolike glossy print at 20" x 30" is really something...

the 2004 calendar is a present for my mum, and one of the prints is a present for my brother.

anyway, ordering dA prints is highly recommended, since the quality is simply awesome, plus you're helping the artists and dA. so why not get a print of something you like... (no, i don't work for dA. i just like their prints )
