after graduating in Brazil in graphic design, I chose to come to Denmark to study classical drawing. It's something I wanted to do for years, so you're right if think I'm very pleased with it.

There's only one problem... the winter is coming... gah it's already starting to get colder. My bones hurt so much. But I'm tough

Well, I'm working on a new project, I still don't know if it's gonna be published, or if it's gonna be a webcomic. If it's decided it's a webcomic, I already know the next issues are gonna be black and white, because it takes too long to write, pencil, ink, color an letter, as I do it all myself and I really enjoy it. But the color process is the one that I spend the most doing, as I love it and want it to be as perfect as possible, but it takes too much time and I wouldn't be able to update frequently. Oh yeah, forgot to tell I study a lot during the day. I wish I had the time to make it an exclusive activity in my life, wouldn't it be great huh?

Well that's it for now. I'd like to hear what you all think about it, please. Sometimes I think my absence in the dA community is the community's fault... nobody talks to me.... :~(

I'm slowly returning to deviantART. I missed this community so much!
Now I'm struggling in the last semester in college, but that won't keep me from secretly make my projects. o_~

Now, the hard part is....
My new comic Little Inventor [link] is competing now at Zuda Comics (DC Comics' on-line imprint) and it would be really nice if you took a look at it. If you like it, maybe you could vote for it and add as a favorite, huh?
It's really going to need your help -- this month is the strongest competition I've seen in that website. Therefore I'm almost sure I'll not win, but it's already nice to be able to show my work to the world.

I'm closing this gallery, but I'll be back, and when I do I'll tell everyone.
The main reason this is happening is the lack of time. Now I'm working for Shadowline, Jim Valentino's imprint on Image Comics, and for Approbation Comics, in the Chaos Campus Series, and together with college and college assignments, it became hard for me to keep my gallery attractive with more brand new deviations.
As this is for indetermined time, I think the best thing to do is to close my gallery for now.
I hope you understand. This was a great experience and I can say now that I'm a more complete artist. Thank you everyone.

Olá pessoal,

estou fechando esta galeria, mas ainda voltarei, e quando isso acontecer avisarei a todos.
O principal motivo disso estar acontecendo é a falta de tempo. Agora estou trabalhando para a Shadowline, divisão de Jim Valentino da Image Comics, e para a a Approbation Comics, na série Chaos Campus, e juntando com a faculdade e trabalhos de faculdade, está difícil pra mim fazer outras coisas, como novos desenhos para postar aqui no dA.
Como esta situação acontecerá por tempo indeterminado, acho melhor fechar a galeria do que deixá-la parada, criando mofo e assim sendo prejudicial à saúde de vocês.
Espero que entendam pois não tenho mais tempo de entrar no dA, quanto mais comentar e manter minha galeria atualizada. Mas foi uma experiência muito boa, fazer novos amigos e encontrar antigos. O dA e seus usuários me deram ânimo muitas vezes e com certeza agora sou um artista mais completo.

Olá pessoal!

O ano de 2006 foi um período de amadurecimento tanto pessoal quanto profissional para mim. Não deu pra fazer tuuudo o que eu queria, mas espero que minhas realizações tenham sido bem feitas, e que reflitam em meu trabalho todo o meu esforço e suor que está por trás deles.

Agora, 2007 promete. O ano que passou não foi mais do que um preparo para o que está por vir durante este e os próximos anos. Tem muita coisa já em andamento, mas infelizmente não posso adiantar nada ainda -- tudo por enquanto requer muto sigilo profissional, sabe como é. Mas quem quiser acompanhar tais novidades, fique atento pois, se eu não postá-las aqui, postarei em meu blog.

The year is coming to an end and when this time comes I find myself thinking about what happened in the almost-past year, and I have a few considerations that I would like to put in this journal

In the past years, great artists have passed away, leaving only their work to the next generations, and lately I've been thinking a lot about it. It's starting to grow inside me an enormous will of leaving something for the later time from when my heart is not pulsating anymore, and I don't think I wrote it the right way. I'm still young (but not a child anymore) and I think I can try to start doing something serious now. You should expect news soon.

Another subject I would like to talk about is about dA itself. I have not been as present as I wanted to be in this community, part by work in the GT magazine and part by my studies in college, that consume lot of my time as I try to dedicate with all my heart into these occupations. And all of you know that dA consumes time, right? But I'm getting used to it little by little.

What I really wish in this next year (it's not a promise, y'know) is to put those kind of things working correctly and put all the concern I can in bills, family, etc, 'cause the subjects above have to be part of my second nature, together with some other things I will still put in words here in dA.

Well, I expect all of you had a nice xmas!
And, behold, if 2006 was good, 2007 will be a heck of an year!!

Bem, vou explicar.
Assim como muitos deviants, desde que me conheço por gente quis trabalhar com quadrinhos. Desde quando li minha primeira edição de X-Men, quando pequeno, sinto a magia, a arte de se fazer quadrinhos, como algo estimulante.

E finalmente a oportunidade de atuar no ramo chegou. Por isso ando tão ocupado!
A partir da edição nº 9 de Guerreiros da Tempestade sou eu, Igor Noronha, o colorista oficial da revista. E nada me deixa mais grato, pois (digam o que quiserem) é um projeto pioneiro do qual estou me orgulhando de fazer parte.

Está bem difícil neste começo (a edição 9 não ficou nada do que eu achei que seria!! ), mas sinto que com o tempo eu pego o jeito. Aos poucos vou aprendendo a lidar com prazos e com os trabalhos da faculdade que em algumas épocas despencam na minha cabeça.
Ah sim, e ainda tenho de me acostumar com a idéia de colorizar o traço de outro desenhista! Isso sim está sendo difícil pra mim!! ~~

Mas dizem que é assim mesmo.... espero que dê tudo certo. Nem sei quantos fins de semana ou feriados já perdi.... nem quero imaginar quantos perderei..... heheheh

Bem, mãos à obra!
Tenho uns rabiscos guardados na gaveta também, assim que der pra finalizá-los vou postá-los aqui ok?
