On Sunday morning, I woke up around about 5.30am to get ready to go, Lucy woke up not too long after. Jacob turned up at my door around 6.15am, luckily not banging on the door and wake everyone else up. So we all went off to the Bluebridge ferry terminal to catch the 8am sailings.

I must say it was very cold and windy, and Jacob got a weather report and said that it wasn't going to be a pleasant sailing. Uh oh! About 10 minutes after we got onto the ferry, we heard an announcement saying that the sailing was delayed for about 1 hour. Yikes!

Luckily about 45 minutes later we were cleared to sail, although we were warned that the sailing would be uncomfortable. And yeah... I've never been sea sick before, but this time I couldn't even walk straight and honestly the lingering diesel smell really made me feel a bit sick. So all three of us decided to go out to the deck... heck... it was rough out there! But a lot better than being inside though. We spent quite a bit of time outside, and I had a little snooze too... hahaha.. the boat was rocking me to sleep We got quite a bit of the spray too, but oh well... being inside wasn't any better.

It was only when we couldn't feel our noses and our hands were really cold that we decided to go inside... and again, Lucy and I fell asleep during the movie. I woke up and another movie started, I was quite agitated by then because we've gone through 3 movies and we weren't in Picton yet... looked at the time and that was about 12pm. Ouch.

Finally at around about 1pm the ship was berthing in Picton! Woohoo! And the weather was beautiful (well.. it was really windy though - and a bit cold, but the sun was out!). We went straight to the backpackers to check in. It was a beautiful place and the people were so friendly! Our room was right at the very front. I have to say that I'm really glad that I picked that backpackers, because I really loved it there!

As soon as we got our room, we took our cameras out and went out to shoot some photos and footage. Hmm... I must say that it was almost like being in Wellington (due to the strong wind). Haha! We went to the beach, taking pictures of whatever we can find, from the park, sea gulls, boats, flower, even ducks! It was extremely windy!!!! At least the sun was out though!

We got back to the backpackers and we hang out there for a bit, drinking and striking conversations with other guests there, who were giving us a little odd looks when they saw me on Jacob's shoulder trying to get a steady shot of a little flower on the roof. Yeah at that point the tripod was in the room and we couldn't be bothered taking it out... until we couldn't hold the camera steady enough to take the shot. Lol! And not to mention chasing the baby praying mantis! It took both Jacob and I to get that shot! After chasing it up and down the bench, I got it onto a flower and moved it to the place where it got enough sun, and finally got a few macro shots out of the baby praying mantis! Yeah! It felt good! Let's hope it's in focus! Jacob also managed to get a shot of a bumble bee... I honestly wouldn't go anywhere near it!

We also got the comments whether we got new cameras or something since we were taking lots and lots of random pictures... haha... not new at all... try 20 and 40 year-old-camera. But that's what so fun about it too!

After dinner (fish and chips), at around about 8pm we took ourselves to the kitchen to have a taste at the backpacker's famous Apple Crumble! And it was extremely YUMMY!!!

Soon afterwards we grabbed our togs and jumped into the spa pool.... it felt soooo good... Lucy didn't get in though, instead, she recorded everything including the rubber ducky incident... now I wonder whether the duck issue is actually contagious?? First it was Jacob and the singing duck... (which have been on the road to Hawke's Bay with the boys and was in New Plymouth with Lauren for the labour weekend), then I think I've started developing some serious duck issues... hmm...

The night was beautiful, no rain, was cold but not extremely... so we decided to go for a night shoot by the harbour. At that time an Interislander ferry was about to sail out. And it was our finals night at the Embassy theatre. I was totally nervous last night to see the movie on a big screen!!!! (in a good way, of course ).

So... we didn't win the prizes, but Lauren got nominated for best actress and we also got nominated for best editing. Woohoo! We didn't win those awards but still very very very happy to get nominated! Now we're just waiting for the Peter Jackson's wildcards to be announced

We all went to celebrate with after show drinks at the Malthouse. So good to see everybody's happy and in a great mood Cory and I went home a bit after midnight and had more cake!!! Hehe.

The 48hours is still catching up to me... I'm still feeling really tired from it, and certainly still feeling the buzz (although it has calmed down a lot).

Our heat was on Tuesday night (20 May '08) and we're honestly happy to see our movie on big screen and got the good response from the audience.

So here's the breakdown of our team:

Team name: 2RhAB (Two Redheads and a Blonde)
Genre: Animal Movie
Character: Kerry Post - a perfectionist
Prop: A brush
Line of dialog: "Wait a Minute"

My heart jumped when I saw the genre I drew... totally wasn't expecting that one! But everything turned out really good. It was better than expected. And we made it in with 3 minutes to spare

My day was very ordinary up until late afternoon when I heard a series of crashes and bangs outside the office. Then I heard a cracking glass noise, I looked up and felt like the room was closing in when the window just in front of me shook due to impact from the reception area (at that point I didn’t expect anything to come my way, I thought it was just the wave from the impact outside that made the window to shake), then I realized that there was a shadow of something moving towards me (I didn’t know what it was, but it made me move from my chair - it could be the fax machine or Meena who was moving). I saw Meena ran into my office so I went to her and at the same time I heard lots of glass crushing and banging. I felt some pricks too and a piece of glass managed to get in my shoe.

Finally we could see what happened. It was an jeep that crashed into our office, sending the fax machine from the reception area into my office through the glass window!!!! What struck me the most was when I saw the big piece of glass that was on the chair I was sitting on, and another big one on my bag, just behind my chair. The first thing I could think of was thank God that I moved from there. If Meena hadn’t run into my office I might’ve moved seconds too late and I could imagine that minor glass cuts, brand new ruined stockings and broken sun glasses wouldn’t be the only things I got.

We got out and finally saw the whole scene. It was … very random. Two moving vehicle was involved and thankfully no one got seriously hurt. Everyone upstairs came down and made sure we were okay. Glad there was nothing dangerous leaking from the jeep. Meena's work area was in a lot more mess than mine. The reception counter (believe me, it's very HEAVY!) moved! The glass window shattered, and cabinets were badly dented (plus a lot more damages). Lucky she got away from it.

Well… wasn’t expecting that when I woke up this morning! Although it was weird because I felt like I knew it would happen. At some point in the morning I felt claustrophobic like the room was closing in on me, the very feeling I got when the window shook before a fax machine flew through it. But I brushed it off as imagination. I got home and thank God that He is watching over me and that no one got seriously injured. It was one out-of-the-ordinary-day indeed.

Well... apart from that... this year's 48HOUR film competition [link] is just around the corner. Registration would be open very soon and I'm quite excited to have another go this year!

And something else is also just around the corner... Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday (right on Waitangi day too), so the 40 days of lent would be starting soon.

Last but not least... Phoenix Foundation would be playing on Valentine's Day so I'm totally looking forward to that too

Anyway... it was great to catch up with a few old friends... and quite funny how time went by so quickly... some of my friends took their kid/s along to see me... and I was called "Tante" (translated to Aunty)... haha... I feel old!

I ate lots of "jajanan" as well... hahaha... it was great... and of course... I went shopping in Bandung... went home with bags and bags of clothes Can't help it there... hahahaha....

So... I know the blog entries aren't finished yet, but some of the photos can be seen on my blog [link] (in December archive... the January entries would be posted very soon).

It was raining for almost the whole two weeks of my holiday in Jakarta... I've never seen so much gray sky. And of course, in the last 2 days, it cleared up! Hahaha. At least I still get a little bit of sun I came back to Wellington to a rainy weather... lol... so I'm glad that today is quite sunny... finally I can get some sun!

I wasn't told that I was needed until later on yesterday, didn't have time to even have a friggin' proper lunch... and then wasn't able to have dinner until we finished... which was 10.30pm!!!! And the only suggestion was... "Oh... you should've had an early dinner"... Argh!!! At 4.30pm?? Yeah right! I only had my so called lunch at 2pm!!!! Doesn't make any difference anyway what time I eat! By the time it's 7.30, I'd be hungry again. So how about arrange some food for us or at least... arrange something so one of us could go and get some food for us!

My workmate and I were just very grumpy because we were both starving... and the only thing that kept us going was the little snacks I brought for us. By the time the show finished I almost faint coz it was just too painful. So of course I refused to be dropped off at home... **** it! I'm getting ****in' food in my belly! So I asked to be dropped off in town instead and got myself some food (finally).

So I wasn't really the chirpiest girl at work again this morning... coz of the lack of sleep thanks to the very late dinner! Oh yeah... by the time I get to touch my food it was already pass 11pm already... and by the time I was ready for bed it was 1am. Honestly... the late night wasn't really the problem here... but the food is! I don't mind to work late on SOME nights (although of course I prefer not to), but I need my dinner, damn it! At a reasonable time... not at the end of the night where almost everything in town is closed already coz there's no ****in' way I'm gonna cook at that time of the night!

I honestly didn't know what else to do... materials didn't come in until 11.30 yesterday, while it was needed at 3pm yesterday too... And today I was supposed to replaced a few files and send the new version, but sadly, (of course) it didn't happen the way I wanted it to be. I was busy the whole morning attending to another project, one that needs a little bit of a "hurry up" push.... It was so hard just to get away to get food for lunch! Once I thought I could eat in peace, the phone rang again!!! And my tummy was rumbling hard out.

Been doing quite a bit overtime since yesterday only to find that the files didn't play properly by the time it reached its destination (possibly corrupted during transfer) Thanks to that error, now I have to come in early tomorrow morning to catch the same day courier to send the physical files up North. Argh! Wasn't too happy about that... coz I've spent a lot of time working on this, making sure the files work and got to the destination and still there are problems with it!

Anyway... other than that... I got a hair cut in the weekend and I still feel weird with the new look...

It's only a few days to go until "Beowulf" comes out in the cinemas Can't wait to see it. And work Xmas party is less than a week away!

Most of my last week (NOT including Guy Fawkes) was a disaster! From my computer only outputting one audio channel to DVD (seriously, I don't know what the hell is wrong!!!)... to the nonsense I had to put up with just to get myself a new pair of shoes (or jandals in this case) I was about to snap at anyone who said any wrong thing to me… oh boy… Must admit though, my mood had been all over the place too, so that wasn't much help. Finally on Sunday evening I started to feel much better after dishing out most of the problems and getting it off my chest bit by bit ... and finally, I was on my weekend mode... but by then, the weekend was almost over. Haiyaa…

The bright side is, I got to taste lots and lots and lost of good food at work!!!! Hehe... this is what I ate on Saturday night at work... the client fed us again... oh boy... this time we even got the entrée! Amazing! Then on Sunday, Cory cooked this oh-so-yummy-roast chicken. Oooh I'm so spoiled

Well, I was putting Kiki's Delivery Service on hold, and I came across a movie at the DVD store, which I have forgotten about since the last time I read about it (before it came out)... and I'm interested to see it, it's a Studio Ghibli production, although the reviews aren't great at all (story wise, but scored really high in the artistic department - no surprises there), I guess I wouldn't be able to say anything unless I see the movie. Nevertheless, I'm sure I'd still be entertained by the magnificent production of Studio Ghibli

Hmmm... now with the Asian Food Festival is being postponed and I'm now working on that weekend... well.. what can I say... it's looking pretty gloomy... 2 days in that week working til past midnight is really tiring for me, not to mention that one of those days happens to be Saturday.... yeah I had the option of keeping the time off... but I really don't have the heart to keep the already approved time off with so much stress going around at work at the moment... share the load around, I'm doing my part

Then I spent a huge amount of time looking for this footage that is almost impossible to find... honestly, my ears are just soooo tired after calling so many people here and there and about 90% of them didn't get back to me (and honestly I still haven't found the needed footage yet) and I've been looking and putting request everywhere in footage archive etc, from tv stations to other organizations... and found none yet. It's really frustrating .... and then I had to keep fixing a project that kept changing so many times after the final products... haiyaaaa....

He said that he could be stuck in traffic. Grrr... the thing is, the person knows that it's morning in here and there would be traffic, so... the solution would be: LEAVE EARLIER!!!!!! Not keep a customer waiting!!! Especially that I've taken some time off work because they don't have any after hour or weekend service. I can understand if it's something that isn't as regular as the morning rush hour, but TRAFFIC??? You gotta be kidding me!!!! I'm sure they could've had a better excuse than that.

Well, the buzzer finally rang at 9.25 (he was 25 minutes late) and guess what? He didn't even say "Sorry" for being late WHERE THE HELL IS THE MANNERS??????? I can understand 5-10 minutes late, no one is perfect.... but hell, 25 minutes late???? At least an apology is in order!!! Grrrrr And of course, very typical... after less than half hour of doing work, the conclusion was "There's nothing I can do for you" Okay, that part isn't his fault, but still... it was wasting my time! I found the perfect spot to put it in, and he couldn't find any better place to put it as well, I've told the customer service what they needed to know and he asked again, and honestly, I shouldn't have to get time off work just for this!!! In result I came in 2 hours later (of course I've got the time off already, but I shouldn't need to!) And yeah... I was right... he did exactly what I did (and I got it working again!!! Without all the gadgets, etc) So... yea yea yeah, it was a complete waste of my time! AND... he put the antena on another place which made my internet connection even WORSE!!! So yeah, I just changed it back to the place where I had it before and now it's working fine.

ANYWAY... felt really good finally was able to solve the problem with capturing footage with 4 channels of audio which was giving us the problems. My workmate helped me a lot with it, but by the end of the day time was pushing in, and I'm so glad it's finally (almost) done!!! Woohoo!!!

I wasn't too happy about the internet (and my phone line too), so within that few minutes window being of online, I sent off an email of complaint to the service provider. The next day they rang me and told me that they'd send me a booster for it. So yeah, after about 2 hours looking like a window cleaner carrying the booster going through inch by inch of my window looking for a perfect spot to plan that in, my internet is working again!!!!!! Though my modem, etc had to move to quite an odd place in the house... so I guess I'll have to think of something later on

Anyway... apart from that, my week had been pretty slow and sh*t Last minute job gone haywire (I was cutting it fine in getting it fixed). Got the editing machine back today and the past project couldn't be retrieved (tho I know that since last week, but still...) And some others that I wouldn't even be bothered putting it on my blog or I'd be writing a whole lot of pages. Lol. And also, I've been waking up late for the last few days, coz I didn't hear my alarm and my morning call... and I just realized today why.... I got my phone on "office" mode, which set the ring tone to the lowest volume. D'oh!!!!

A packet from Mum cheered me up tho!!! Goodies from Mum!!! Yippie!!! LOL. Well... finally I can relax, and I'm gonna finish watching this movie I'm watching now Wheee.....

I got to the office this morning soaking wet (again! but at least I brought my spare pair of pants)... to find out that my computer wasn't on... when I turned it on... it gave out this high pitch squealing noise!!!!!! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!! it didn't stop. And one of the hard drives is MISSING!!!!!! *Heart attack!!!! Get the ambulance!!!*

The missing hard drive holds ALL the projects I've been working on. Lucky that I've backed up ALMOST all of the projects to a bunch of CDs and DVDs, but the one that I'm still working on is only backed up within the computer... and the files were affected!!!!!! 30 hours of video work is now GONE.... I'm still hoping it's not a hard drive failure... Luckily, the missing project is already in the final product phase, and I've mastered the final video onto a mini DV tape and also onto a DVD video format *phew* But, the working files are gone... so if I need to make changes... well... it'll be a bit complicated and time consuming... *sigh* I'm just glad I have some sort of back up.

And tomorrow my property manager is coming to inspect the property. Well... I'd be happy for them to do so, but hey, it's been how many months since my last inspection?? And only TWO of the many maintenance I pointed out to them (the ones that were promised to be done since the day I moved into that property!!!) have been done!!!! The rest were left out and everytime I ring them it's always either she's out of the office or she'd say "Oh, I'll get back to you on that one today". Emails are no use too! So of course I'm pissed off!!!! So tomorrow I'll make sure I'm present during the inspection & raise the issue. Last inspection I didn't even know about! I was away in Christchurch for 2 weeks and they notified me via mail, so unless I have a magic door to get to my mailbox, then there's no way I would've known, is there? They have emails and phones, damn it! What's so hard about sending an email too??? Grrrr!!!!

Finally went to see Surf's Up in the weekend and I really enjoyed it It was fun and the penguins are soooooooo CUTE!!!!! I must say tho, Chicken Joe rocks! Yeah! The movie made me want to go diving again!!! Lol. Or at least be close to the sea... it's been soooooo long since my last dive

Well, aside from drooling at the CS3 Master Collection, I'm officially really sleepy!!! This kind of weather is perfect for sleeping LOL.

Glad I was nowhere near the area during that time... other than that.... the day had gone surprisingly slow!!! (and having tonz of paperwork to catch up on didn't help. Haha). Hmm... so much for that orange chicken with basil... my rehearsal today was delayed to 1pm (it was originally at 11, but then delayed to 12pm, before it was finally delayed to 1pm and we found out when we got to the place). Well, the big news that hit me today was that I lost one of the big projects I'm doing at the moment The client had chosen another designer to do the job. I spent quite a bit of time on it already and was working really hard to squeeze ideas out for it (I was really struggling to fish out ideas for this one), and have had lots of help in doing this project too... not to mention that I had to fight my way to actually have time to work on it (not literally, of course)... so yeah... I wasn't really happy about the result, especially that I finally found a concept that I thought would work well with it and would be quite a challenge, but oh well... it's been done and nothing I could do about it. It was really a challenge for me and had caused me much stress on top of everything else that was happening, but at the same time I was really looking forward to it... so yeah, I was upset when I found out (probably disappointed is a more suitable word)

So... 5pm ticked by and I got a phone call saying that I was needed on site at 6.30pm for a show I'm doing tomorrow... alright, at least I was given enough warning to quickly get out and get dinner... When I got there.... The control desk was way up high and the whole thing was wobbly!!!!!!! Argh!!!! I was sitting there for 2 hours feeling sooooo sick and nervous, and every few seconds I felt like I was falling... I had to shut my eyes everytime someone run up or down the stairs and made the whole thing move... oh boy.... and I have to be on it and work there for half a day before going back to the office tomorrow...

I'm surely looking forward to 5.30pm tomorrow... when my weekend starts... it's been a horribly stressfull and busy 3 weeks with work... so I'm looking forward to a little rest from my hectic schedule before going back to it on Monday... YAYAYAYAYAY!!! It's movie time!!!! Woohoo! I hope the weather is nice... it's been soooo cold in the past few days....

So... as I thought... 2 hours in, and I was starving already!!!! Not to mention that the venue was sooooooo cold! (for me anyway) Well yeah... I was sitting just above the ventilation, so I got the breeze coming up from underneath the floor... lol... it was cold... and I was very hungry. Luckily my workmate went to buy some sweets so at least I got some sugar in my system to keep me up and running for a little while... the rehearsal didn't finish until 8pm... and throughout the rehearsal, occasionally the thought of some nice roast chicken, creamy salmon pasta, and steak came up!!! Haha! "Hmmm..... I'm sure that meant to be a picture of a landscape... not a whole roasted chicken with lemon herb!!!!" Hahahaha! Anyway.... it's a 7am start tomorrow... early night tonight... as if!!! I'm trying to but I'm still wide awake coz I just had some dinner and I'm too full to go to sleep! Argh!

Well... I was a little bit disappointed that the optometrist didn't ring today to say that my new pair of glasses is ready for pick up... so I'm hoping I'd get to phone call tomorrow Yay! Hehehe... I'm excited to go to work tomorrow though... the show should be fun!!! Hehe.

I spent probably half hour just re-booting the computer while the other half hour was used to sort out the cable patching... grrrrrr....

Not only the computers hate me, but my USB flash disk decided to crap out too!!!! It suddenly stopped working two nights ago... I plugged it into so many different computers, even on my mac, but it didn't work... so I thought it has malfunctioned. I was about to brought it back (it's only 2 months old) and thought that I'd give it one last check.... I plugged it into one of the computers (that I've tested it on)... and IT WORKED!!!!!! I don't know what happened there!!!! Jacob had a look at it when it wasn't working and he couldn't make it work, so I have no idea what-so-ever of why the hell it didn't work for that short period of time!!!!

Anyway... I have a little bit too much on my plate at the mo (for this week anyway... I look forward to Friday.. hahaha)... and with poor support from the computers here I'm pretty much taking a beating. Looks like I'm gonna have to put in some extra hours tonight.

But on the positive side, I had an eye exam today and my new glasses would be ready early next week ... bad news is that my prescriptions had gone worse than my last eye check (not by much tho).

Anyway, had some birthday drinks at work on Friday night.... and the guys gave me a mountain of canned V berry (and it took me 10 minutes to get rid of the selotapes covering it! HAHA!)... when it was wrap it looked like a giant Easter egg! No kidding! And also Thunderpants!!!! (or Thundies) soooo cute! Well... it was said that it's the underwear that won't ride up your bum! Hahaha!!! Go the THUNDIES!

Oh finally I chose my soon to be new glasses! YAY!!! I'm off to eye exam on Thurs and hopefully I'd get my new glasses soon!!! Hehe... So excited!

Well... although I'm still excited and amused by "Ratatouille" (and honestly don't mind to see it again), I'm also looking forward to "Surf's Up" and "Stardust" - both are coming out in 10 days!!!! Woohoo!!!!

I also got a phone call from my grandma... so good to hear her voice... We didn't stop there tho.... we went to have coffee.... well... we were wanting to go to Espressoholic but it looked pretty cramped there... so we decided to go to Fidel's instead... oh boy... we had to put up with a very unpleasant encounter with a few teenage assholes who were being cowardly annoying. I honestly don't really know what they were saying (coz they couldn't even speak properly) but it was somewhere along the line of being racist and/or harrassment. How annoying! So of course I ended up saying "f**k off" to them and gave them the finger And Jes also didn't let them slip that easily. They were yelling out and all that but none of them had any guts to actually say it to our face... they all hid behind the car doors.... cowards! They totally messed with the wrong people tonight! They might get away with it if it was another group... but with us... NO WAY!... we're fed up with all the racism and other kind of harrassments we had put up with throughout our times being here. We love being here and we love the people... but some people are just selfish... so yeah.... we weren't gonna let them slip without saying anything. And as we thought... they were just a bunch of cowards! Ha!

Anyway... off we went to Fidel's for a coffee... and we were being the noisy bunch there hahaha! What do you expect? We haven't seen each other for awhile. So the conversation went from Little Lamb.... to Mango Lassi.... and finally reached to the "Bemo" topic because of the boyracers who were showing off.... HAHAHAHA!! Followed by gossip session at my place while waiting for Joey and Hendy to finish the ballet. HAHAHA.... well yeah... I feel sorry for my neighbours who probably could hear us giggling and laughing

I couldn't join them in their shopping session coz of work (honestly, I was bombarded with questions when I met them last night... I want to buy this... I want to buy that... but I want to buy that one too... which one should I get?) Hahaha! So in a way I'm kinda glad I didn't go shopping with them or I might be asking that questions myself Hehehe.

But yeah, I'm soooo happy to see her again So... we're all squeezing Yumcha on Saturday morning before she has to rush to the airport to go back to Dunedin... fun times!

Anyway... I don't know why but for some odd reason I'm soooo craving for some "tempe goreng"!!!! And yeah... to get tempe as good as the one at the "pasar" in Indo is just so impossible!

So... not ignoring my cravings, I went to McDonald... after soooooooooooo loooooooooooooooooooong I can't believe I was about to have McDonald. Eeew... yuck! I know... but hey I had no time to wait for proper cooked food & eat it. Well... once in a blue moon I do have cravings for fast food... didn't always follow it... but today I did coz I was really running out of time to get food.... I think the weather did some weird things to my tummy It would be quick and painless, I thought.... yeah right...

I ordered my usual fix... plus a cheeseburger on the side. First, the lady at the counter overcharged me! So I told her the real price. She didn't even say sorry before quickly changed the pricing. Due to what just happened, I asked for a receipt... and she didn't seem so happy about that too... (like I cared!). In the end she threw the napkins on top of my drinks' lid and dismissed me with a very rude look while yelling "NEXT!!"... grrrr.... "oooh bring it on, lady!" But of course, I didn't wanna be bitchy and cause any trouble... so I went off... and brushed off the attitude the lady gave me *self control*

I ate quickly while keeping track of time, I only had about 5 minutes to spare before having to walk back to the office. So I moved on to my cheeseburger.... and... to my horror.... I didn't find any MEAT in it!!!!! ARGH!!!! That's it! I walked back quickly to the counter (luckily there was no long line otherwise there goes the rest of my lunch hour).... and told them what happened (mind you I was being really polite)... though maybe my face wasn't that friendly... there must be a "WARNING! I'm about to seriously hurt someone!" sign flashing on my face coz the person I talked to said sorry so quickly and whimpered to fix me another cheeseburger without much being said. Didn't even try to be smart and ask for a proof of purchase (which I have if they asked! Ha!) LOL!!! *triumph!* And I still have the decency to say "that's okay" and smiled when they apologized... so I was being really patient Well... I actually didn't really want the cheeseburger in the end... but I was just doing it coz they already pissed me off with the attitude earlier, so I wasn't gonna let them get away with it. McDonald or not, every customer still have the right to be served politely and properly!

Not exactly the lunch I was hoping to have. I think next time my tummy craves for fast food, I'd stick with Subway.... Well... Hahaha. Then I went home to turn on the TV to watch the palace flag ceremony... why?? Of course because our teachers would give us a test the next morning on that ceremony! Silly!!! It's just a way to make sure that we weren't having fun on a public holiday Anyway... moving on to when I was at uni... I started my day by strolling down to the Indonesian embassy to attend the flag ceremony there... and have a big meal afterwards Followed by the stressful performance show times for the celebration... which usually happened about 2 weeks after the independence day... I remembered having very little sleep coz of practice and backstage stuff.... VERY stressful but was fun at the same time... and the food at those shows... oh the FOOD.... YUMMY!!!!!

BUT today.... I started my day by rushing to work with marmite on toast on one hand, and avocado on toast on the other... hahaha! Yeah... lots of my friends have been asking me if I'd go to the flag ceremony this morning... but I said no... coz I had so much work to do and have to be on standby just in case the work I finished last night need some last minute changes. Plus... it's a little too late to ask my boss for a few hours off to get to the embassy... oh well... I guess I'd miss out on the ceremony & the meal afterwards this year... it's a pity that there's no show or anything festive going on for the Independence day this year... It's soooooo UNFAIR... I've been a performer/participant/organizer for 6 years in a row for the Independence Day shows... and this year is the first year I could say no to participating in any of that coz of my overwhelming workload and I could finally be an audience... and there is no shows!

Anyway..... HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY Indonesia!!! I feel sorry for those of yous who are still in school back home at the moment and have to be glued in front of your TV watching the flag ceremony... Good luck for the test tomorrow

Anyway... Cam & I caught the last flight to Wellington when the rest of the crew went on the flight to Auckland 20 minutes before ours. So we said our goodbyes and we know we'd see them again on the next big job, just hoping that it wouldn't be too soon... hahahaha.... yeah... the body needs to recover from all the madness.

Well... I have to admit that I was actually really shocked when I calculated the hours of my week. I thought it was only 77.25 hours but when I actually included all of yesterday's time, it was acually 88.25 HOURS!!! OMG!!! It has broken the past record of 86 hours. No wonder I feel like shit and so tired today!

It's been very stressfull time here with the conference started today. So many presenters, so many people around and so much to worry about here and there. A little chaotic although on the bright side... I was very stressed in the last 2 days setting up the structure and workspace, but now that it's all happening, it's a little easier. So I'm happy (sort of)... quite grumpy in the morning that I haven't had enough sleep... but 2 cans of V's and a few coffees later, I'm good to go Hehehe. It's quite funny going into a shop to buy energy drinks and all that, the shop keepers immediately recognized me from my coffee run from the last time I was here. And they just nodded while saying "you'd be awake for quite awhile with those". Well... that's the point. LOL.

Anyway... it's almost 8 here and to me it feels like 2am already. This time work really messes with my body clock so yeah... I'm really really really looking forward to go back home.

I came back with a happy tummy from a very nice lunch today (YUMMY )... and the day had been going sooooooo great... and then I got back to the office and... I found out that work is sending me down South AGAIN next week!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr......

And of course... computer had to crash and held me back at work for an extra 1.5 hours...



Looking at the positive side: at least it's not even for a week, lots better than the last trip...

BUT... I hate it when people make jokes of me!!!

After a few sunny days, we finally got very rainy day today... I had to dry my socks and shoes off on the heater and pretty much had to put up with soaked pair of troussers for at least an hour before it dried off I think tomorrow I'll bring an extra pair (if I remember to ) just in case I get soaked in the rain again! Argh!!! I'm soooo glad now I have a gas heater in my office!

Anyway... I can't wait to see Ennio Marchetto show on Thursday night!!! Hehehe... I've been wanting to see that eversince I did the season preview edit for the theatre... it looks awesome!!!! YEAH!
