Hi, sorry it's been a while since I updated this. I really don't mean to space my updates out so often, but well, to tell the truth I keep forgetting about it and besides my life isn't all that exciting right now either. Although, today I have got something worth writting about in my opinion.

Today I bought my first car! A brand new, Nissan Micra in Roma Red. I'm very happy about this, as it's a lovely little car and even better now I don't have to keep asking my mum if I can borrow her car or use the rather poor public transport in my area if I want to go somewhere. They didn't have any in shock at the time unfortunately, but it should be delieved in about two weeks and then I'll have my new wheels. I'm rather looking forward to it.

And on that note, I'd like to send out a big thanks to my Grandmother who's desire to see that all of her grandchildern have nice safe cars to drive is funding the bulk my my purchase. There's no way I'd be able to get a brand new car, or even a good used one most likely, without her right now, so Thanks!

Hi there. I know I haven't updated this in a while but quite a bit's been happening.

I've been sick quite a bit lately, first with a damn virus that made me feel like s*** for a number of days, then just when I was getting over that I started getting this mysterious cripperling back pain which no one could explain the cause of but laid me up for a couple of days. Then just as I was getting over that, I came down with another virus and just as I was getting over THAT, the stupid back pain came back again. This lasted for a couple of weeks, while I keep trying to keep the rest of my life from falling about around it. I'm finally seem to be getting better now, and I'm hoping it stays that way. If the last few weeks have taught me anything, it's that I really, really, REALLY, hate being sick.

Then eariler this week I got a summons for jury duty. I don't know know how jury duty works in other countries, but in Australia when you are summoned for jury duty you are less likely to be put on a jury and more likely to sit around at the courthouse bored out of your mind, until you are finally told at the end of the day that you aren't needed and that you can go home. That's what happened to me anyway. The only good thing was that we got an extra long break for lunch and I was able to do a little shopping. In all though it was a waste of time for me, made even more annoying by the fact that it was one of the first days in a long time I was feeling pretty good.

Well, the results of the Destined Awards are in, and my story 'Safe' won third place in the 'Best Nightmare' catagory. 'Love of her Master' didn't win anything, but that's okay, it just means it'll be eligble again next quarter when hopefully it'll be closer to being finshed. I thought it was a little too early for it to be nominated anyway, seeing as there's so much left I want to add to that story before i'm even close to declaring it complete.

If any of you who are reading this either nominated my stories for the Destined Awards or voted for them, i would just like to say a big thank you. It's because of people who read, review and occasionally vote for my stuff that I keep writting.

Thank you whoever nominated me! I wish I would have known sooner, but I losty track of the whole thing and didn't even realise that nominations had closed and voting started. Then again, my life's been getting a little busy lately, and it would be pretty sad if I started running my life around fanfiction.

Anyway, I have been nominated for the following:
'Safe': nomianted for 'Best Nightmare' (aka, best dark fic)
'Love Of Her Master': nominated for 'Best Fairy Tale' (aka, best story with twelve chapters or less)

If you want to read these fics, 'Safe' can be found here, but if you want to read 'Love Of Her Master' you'll have to look it up on either Mediaminer, Adult Fan Fiction or Eternal Destiny. 'Safe' can also be found on all three sites.

To be prefectly honest with you, my family's not all that big on Australia Day anyway, but what the hell.

I really should write journal entries more often I guess, but I don't really have all that much to say lately. I've added a few more chapters to my fanfics (most of which can't be found on this site anyway), and applied for a bunch more jobs but that's about it. My life's pretty boring right now. I'm just hoping that one of those places I've applied for work with will actually want me soon. My course has been finished for months and I'm still unemployed and sick of it. Sitting around the house doing nothing got old pretty fast, I need SOMETHING to do with my days. Sigh.

Oh well, I'm whining again and I've really been trying to stop that in my entries, so I'll be going now. In closing I'm just going to say that whether your Australian or not I hope you have a happy day.

I would like to take a moment here to thank everyone who has written reviews or comments to me which support my position in the whole 'falsely accused of copying another fanfic' business. I have gotten many very sweet and very supporting comments from pretty much all of the websites I'm on, and I truly appreciate them.

I'm sorry if I seemed a little bitchy over the whole thing, but it really bothered me. I have been writing Inuyasha fanfics for about a year now, and reading them for far longer. As such I am well aware of how similar themes turns up again and again. I lost track of the number of High School fanfics I've seen two weeks after I first seriously started reading. There are thousands of fics where Kagome sees Inuyasha and Kikyo together and runs away crying only to end up finding out it was all a misunderstanding and becoming Inuyasha's mate. And don't even get me started on the number of fics that for whatever reason show Kagome getting together with Sesshomaru. That is why I am NOT impressed that there was some one else out there that had also written a fanfic about Inuyasha feelings on the rosary, even though I hadn't heard of it before I started getting reviews.

The truth of the matter is it's not really the fact that people were pointing out similarities in the stories that bothered me. It was the way they were doing it. Some of my reviews weren't criticising me, they were full on attacking me, implying that I had no value as a writer and that all of my work was copied. Quite a big jump there, don't you think, going from on similar story to having no originality whatsoever? It was also rather frustrating that they wouldn't tell me which story they thought I copied off so I could see for myself what all the fuss was about. Without telling me that, what exactly WAS the point of writing those reviews except to attack me?

But, I'm sounding bitchy again, and I really want to try to forget all of this and move on now, so I'll stop at this point. I would just like to once again extend a heartfelt thankyou to everyone who cared enough to write in to support me, and say to anyone else who finds themselves in my position, don't let those idiots get to you because their not worth it.

Thanks for listening to my venting, goodbye for now.

I am really getting sick of reviewers writing in just to attack me and my credibility. Once again one of my Inuyasha finfics - my newest one, titled 'Unleashed' - has been accused of being copied off another fanfic, only this time it was one I have never even read!!! (or at least, if I have read it, I don't remember it). I try to be fair with my fanfics and listen to complaints. I have even rewritten and/or removed work because of similar complaints, even though none of the similarities in my work in the past have been deliberate, more like I was a little too inspired by something I'd read where I'd left the two stories a little to simular for some people’s taste. I understand people's complaints in that area and try to please.

HOWEVER, there is a place where I draw the line, and accusing me of copying a story I haven't read is WAY over it. Too make things that much worse, one of the most vicious accusers is someone who I am starting to think has it in for me and is looking for excuses to accuse me. This person has yet to actually leave a name on any of their reviews, and I know it's the same person only because every time they leave a new review they complain about how I removed their old one and accuse me of being a coward who's afraid of criticism because of that. Hell, if they’re going to write in just to abuse me without cause, of course I'm going to delete their 'reviews'. This time, they wouldn't even tell me what story they were accusing me of copying, can you blame me for being annoyed?

I really wish some people would just get a life and get out of mine. If they have what I believe is a genuine complaint I'll listen, but to write in just to abuse and accuse me without proof is just annoying and pointless.

Results for the Destined Awards, run by the Inu/Kag fanfic site Eternal Destiny have come back, and my fic 'Home For Kagome' has won first place in the Best Fairy Tale category (aka, twelve chapers of less, twelve exactly in this case).

I had a journal entry a while back when I first found out that my fic had been nominated where I said I really didn't care if I won or not, I was just so touched to be nominated. Well, that's still true, but since I did win, I think I'm entittled to gloat a little, especially seeing how I've never won a contest like this before.
Well, after serveral months of putting it off, I have finally finished 'A Birthday To Remember'. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, and I have a feeling that includes quite a few of you, A Birthday To Remember was my first ever fanfic. I posted it on Mediaminer months ago, but it was left unfinished and despite my desire to change that, remained that way until late last night when I finally posted the fifth and final chapter. Looking at it now, I'm kicking myself for taking so long, especially since I managed to write the final chapter in about an hour and I think that it's about as close to a perfect ending as I'm going to get.

I can't believe it took me so long to think up that ending, but I can tell why it did. I kept trying to make the story long and interesting when really the story wanted to be short and sweet. Oh well, it's done now, and since it is so short I have decided that I'm going to post it here too. Hope you enjoy it.

You know what? I really hate plagiarism. I was on Eternal Destiny the other day, and I saw that an author on the site had stolen an old fanfic I have always liked and claimed it as thier own. After doing a bit of checking of my own I became convinced that the person who had posted it was not the person who orginally wrote it, so I reported it to the site admin. The admin did some checking of their own and found out that this person had doen the same thing with other fics and on other sites, and so took action, but still this kind of thing really annoys me.

I'll admit that I have had some probelms in the past where I have taken inspration from other fanfics and been a little too inspired, i guess you could call it, when writing new stories. This is a serious problem of mine that I know I really have to work on, but even so I have never tried to claim another person's work as my own and never will. Besides the moral probelms with this, what on earth do people expect to get out of it? The whole thing just seems stupid to me.

Yay! After over six months of saying to myself I was going to write an Inuyasha songfic, I've finally done it! I'm so proud of myself. Everytime I tried to do this in the past I had trouble with it. Either I was too busy working on other stuff to write one, or else I couldn't find the right song. It seemed for a long time that every good song that really fit into the Inuyasha world was taken. Then I heard this song on the radio a couple of weeks ago, and I knew I had my songfic. (By the way, if there is anyone out there who's already done a songfic with this song, sorry I wasn't trying to copy you, but I've never seen this song used before and I really liked it).

By the way, if anyone out there's looking for the next installment of my stoy 'Safe', I'm working on it but the next and final chapter is proving very difficult to write. Hopefully I should have it out before too much longer.

Usually I don't post my chapter stories here, as let's face it this site isn't really set up to handle them. However, as I plan on keeping this one short, with maybe only four or five chapters, I thought it would be okay this time. I've been wanting to post more of my stuff on this site anyway. I've now got the first two chapters finished and posted (save maybe a bit of editing to fix some spelling in the future), and am working currently on the third chapter. The topic of my lastest fanfic is rather controversial, I'll admit, and focuses around a school shooting and the aftermath. However, as I have repeatedly pointed out everywhere I have posted this story, I am not trying to make light of this subject. I know how serious school-shootings are, and believe they should be treated as such.

Yipee, a new one-shot and a new chapter for one of my longer fics all in one week. It's so nice to be getting back into the habit of writting again, for the lastr couple of weeks the real world's been getting in the way (for those of you who are reading this and might want to read my longer stories, I'm afriad I don't have them on this site but you can find them on Mediaminer if you're interested).

You know, I'm not really that bothered if barely anyone looks at this site anymore. I'm getting looked at one other sites, and I know that this one isn't really set up for fanfiction anyway. I'm not going to let it bother me anymore, though it would still be nice if some people read my stuff here and left me comment anyway. But I promise if no one does, I won't complain anymore.

Well this is good. After three solid months of not getting a single comment, for even having people look at my stuff, I've finally got not only a comment but a fav as well! Thanks MorningStar83! It's nice to now that SOMEONE has noticed me on this site. I don't mean to bitch about this, but when no one is paying attention to you, some times you've got to wonder why you bother. But then, someone has paid some attention to me, so I'm happy and I've stop considering leaving this site for now.

Well, despite the fact that apparently NO ONE is interested in me on this site, I've decided to stay here, and have even uploaded a new fanfic one-shot. I've decided though, that only my one-shots, and maybe some very short chapter stories will be posted here from now on. On the slight chance that someone reads this who wants to read some of my other work, MediaMiner has the most extensive collection of my stuff, but you can also find me on Adult Fan Fiction, and Eternal Destiny. All my stuff, no matter what the site, is posted under the penname Bookworm810.

Well, I've finally done it. After having this damn account for over six months now, I have finally got around to uploading something, like I have been saying I would for I don't even know how long.

The fan-fic I uploaded here, 'A Child's Wish', can already be found on Mediaminer, along with a couple of other fan-fics I've been working on. I know 'A Child's Wish' isn't the best Inuyasha fan-fic out there, but hey I'm still pretty new at writing fan-fiction. Besides, it ain't really half bad, especially when you consider the fact that I wrote the entire thing in ONE SINGLE DAY!

Hopefully, now that I've uploaded on thing, it'll be inspiration to get off my ass and upload more.
