THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. Latest Headlines

So I'm testing out this new journal skin mod thing, and if it work the way I want it to, I'll be totally pumped. Oh, and in case anyone wanted to know what I was up to lately, I'm working on a project for the Environmental Health Science department at the University of Georgia. Specifically, what I'm working on is an animated PBPK model of a pregnant mother, her thyroid levels, the relationship between T3 and T4 and TSH, and the relationship between mother and fetus thyroid level. Sound complicated, doesn't it? So now i get to teach myself full animation. But it should be fun. My time is pretty much consumed with that, so I haven't been able to work on much art lately, but I'm not dead, I promise.

EDIT: definitely works. this is the shit!!!!

My "Short, Little" Rant

My god i could stab my roommates...
For my purposes, i shall call them Karen, Dan, and Jake.

So Karen and Dan date, Jake lives with us, and happens to be ridiculously in love with me... This doesn't make for a SLIGHTLY awkward situation at all. Karen and Dan fight ALL the time, so guess who gets stuck listening to their stupid bullshit? Yeah, that's right... me! Well Dan was saying earlier today how before Jake moved in Karen and I ganged up on him, which is completely NOT TRUE, seen as how usually i try to keep my distance from their fighting. So naturally, I'm not gonna sit there and take his shit, no, I'm gonna defend myself. So then he has the nerve to tell me to shut up, because I'm not part of the conversation. Well, sorry, but when you mention me, you kinda drag me into the conversation, and i tried to make this clear to him, but apparently it's a foreign concept. He's really been pissing me off something fierce lately.
Last week we got into this knock down, drag-out style fight over the bills. We're way behind because a former roommate decided to take all the rent and electric money and blow it up her nose. So that's about two grand we're trying to pay off, and guess who doesn't have a fucking job? DAN. So Karen and i were discussing the bills, and he's trying to tell us that we should just not pay the landlord for a while so we can catch up on the electric instead. We already owe the landlord $1,500, and needless to say, i really don't want to be in any more debt. His perfectly logical argument:
ÂWell the next door neighbor [in the apartment attached to us] didn't pay rent for six months, we're paying at least a little, so the landlord will deal with it.Â of course he fails to realize that after that six months, the next door neighbor up and peaced it to fucking Georgia.
My response went something like this: ÂYeah, except then he left afterwards. If we didn't pay rent for six months Dan, what are we supposed to do afterwards. We're obviously not moving halfway across the bloody country, so all that rent is gonna come due, and we'll just have to pay the whole lump sum then.Â And again my logic is lost on him. I try to explain something calmly, he gets pissed off because it's not what hew wants to hear. Karen tells him that it doesn't really matter what he says anyway, because NONE of it's his money, because the fucking freeloader is getting a free ride anyway, since he doesn't have a job. We start yelling until he screams at me to Âshut the fuck up!Â Well, let me tell you (anybody who actually gives a shit enough to read this), NOBODY tells me to shut the fuck up. So what did i do? I grabbed the nearest bunch of glass objects and chucked them against the wall, shattering shit all over the place. Then he has the nerve to bitch that he always has to clean up MY messes, which is complete bullshit!
I'm the only one in my house who actually follows the rule that as soon as you're done with a dish you have to wash it. The rest of those lazy motherfuckers just let them pile up until i can't stand it anymore and i do them ALL. The bathroom won't get cleaned for eight years, and sits there, filthy, until I clean it. And i work a full time fucking job. All he does all day is sit around on his ass smoking pot. And he has the nerve to bitch at me. This shit is really starting to tick me off.
Dan just likes to pick fights, and I'm getting really sick of it. He has no room to bitch, especially since he's eating MY food, living under the roof that I HELP PAY FOR, using the electricity I HELP FOOT THE BILL FOR, and everything else. I'm really getting sick of this.

anyway. i was riding my bike home at like 6:30 with a cup of coffee in one hand and the handlebars in the other and this random fucking huge gust of wind came out of nowhere and blew my bike into the road. (i was in the bicycle lane on 31) and i almost got hit by a car, so i get myself up and finish my ride home. then some of my FLCC friends come over and tell me that the random dizziness, lightheadedness, and nausea I'm feeling could be a concussion. so i got to the hospital, call into work from the ER, get my x-rays taken, and apparently i have a tail bone injury (which hurts like hell) and trauma to the head. well, whatever. so that's that. nothing too serious. I'm just fine, and they have me on vicoden, so I'm really not doing too bad, though i don't know how i can afford the prescription, so when the few pills the hospital gave me run out, I'm going to be so screwed it's not even funny. plus i still have to deliver all my papers and go to work tonight, but like i said, I'm alive and nothing is broken. sorry that was so long...
