WOW BUSY OMG? my computer died.
and for the past month i've been doing something after every day at school.
no time for art, sadly.

driver's ed, work, school, driver's ed, work, etc.
tonight will be the first night i actually get to go home and relax afterschool.

this is funny. i'm at ~adapho's house atm and i'm about to have a moment.

i've been on so many vacations in the past week, i've been so busy.
if anyone knows the song 'live it out' by metric, go listen to the words.
it's my theme song for this stage of summer.

i decided to 'live it out' and stop wallowing in lethargy.
i want to make the most of my summer, no matter how busy it'll make me.
and now that i have my camera back, i can also follow through with my passion -- photography.

earlier this summer, [pretty much july, which has now bittersweetly ended] i was a complete mess.
i shut everyone out, i was bored, sad, tired, didn't want to see anyone, didn't want to care.
i couldn't love. i didn't know how i was going to climb out of that crazy mess of a life.

i whined and complained and slept all day and cried and bitched all night,
and i got a few [metaphorical] slaps in the face and wake up calls for this.
i finally told myself, "i wanna live it out."

so tomorrow i'm leaving for quebec city for a week with dad.
yesterday i went to ~adapho's sister's wedding,
and last week, i was in a shediac, NB with =target-surgery.

i'm not bored.
i'm not sad.
i'm happy.

and i also did my share of haxoring on her account.

i went to bangor with =adapho yesterday.
i got jelly bellies and three shirts and stuff from the mall.
then we went to the flea markets and i got this: [link]

it's a fujica stx-1 [vintage 1980], takes standard 35mm film.
i got it for a mere $20, 50mm f/1.9 lens inclusive.
i just need a neck strap and a lens cap. o wow rhyme.

i think it might even help me appreciate and learn photography a lot more.
this is completely manual, the only automatic part is the meter.
no batteries, either, except for the meter which only takes a little battery.

i've got film in it now and i've been using it.
i want to get some more lenses, usually there are some at harvey's downtown.
and a neck strap. that might be difficult.

I have nothing really interesting to say. I submit barely anything anymore, and when I do it's in bursts of half-assed edits of the same model. [sorry Vic, ily.] Buuut...yeah. I've felt zero inspiration or aspiration to do really anything lately, booo. No energy, no motivation or anything, everything either relentlessly bores me, or makes me angry. No, I'm not depressed, I'm just...bored. I'm sick with le rhume [da common cold, jdghdefh] right now, and I went home at lunch and slept for 6 hours, which was good. I'm supposed to make a resume soon, get a job and begin having no free time...erfsdjfsk.

Maybe I need to work a little harder at keeping myself up creatively. I just need some inspiration. Maybe I just hate winter.

Soooo.
I'm in a hotel lobby right now.
It's linked to the hospital.
Which is in Bangor, Maine...
[yes, =PotatoBeenz and ~ThrillerxLizard we are in the same country right now]
...and which is where me, my dad, my mom, my stepdad, my stepmom who I haven't seen or spoken to since grade seven and my grandparents are,
My brother was in an accident,
And he's fine, don't worry.
We're just staying here until he is released.
So I won't be at school.

These last few days have been such a rollercoaster of nerves and anxiety.
I will never look at a car or a highway or a hospital the same.
I've been on the verge of tears over nothing since 2 nights ago.
I'm fine, just a little shaken up.
I spent the first night home wondering if he was even alive or not.
But he is, they took him out of ICU and now he's got his own room.
All is fine, he's a fast healer.
The next morning my grandparents came and took me here.

When I first saw him, all hunched over, I could have cried.
He looked like he was in so much violent pain.
They said he was 100% worse the night before, I'm glad I wasn't there.
He kept saying "Is it my fault, did I cause the crash"
And every time I would tear up, he was so guilty about something he couldn't control.
It was a 15 car pileup and he was the only one hurt.
He's still under the pain killers etc. but he's fine.

My stepmother just walked in the lobby behind me and I can hear her talking.

OKAY SO
I hope the media doesn't see this cause they've been doing this on news channels.
It's sketchy when you see those reports and know,
"That's my brother."
