The last two weeks were really nice, .. maybe some of the best days in my life. We had a pretty cool time with our friends and there were many days we stayed together, doing some stuff, playing games, goin to cinema or just meet up and have fun, go for a drink. Nevertheless I hope we will have such times more often in the future, it could be possible there won't be such a time ... to be honest I hope this is a wrong statement

I spent most of the time with ~Gothic-Nyu before she was leaving for Corse and her summer job there. Very often we were together with ~Schwachmaath, =geek7, ~Kirimaus and ~northwulf. We went to the cinema and watched "Ocean's 13" which we really liked, .. I like all the Ocean Movies, they are great and fun. Some day we met at my place and watched "Keeping Mum" which turned out to be an insider-tip .. quite funny and wonderful british humour in it!! Other days we went for dinner to an mexican restaurant, also meeting with ~menalie (that was after we watched Keeping Mum at my place) and the days after we went to our Irish Pub and a South-American Dance-Bar with a large number of people (think we were 12-14) to have Nora's farewell-party. The last week was a mix of meeting for some drinks (twice), have lunch together, that cinema visit I already mentioned in the first lines and some evenings playing Munchkin, which is a funny card game .. it's awesome and crazy. The evening before our last day together we also boarded =geek7's flat at approx. 10 P.M. after meeting at a cafe earlier. So we were six people including himself, foraying over his flat and family in the night haha .. all quite hungry and so Nora & Kiri cooked for us .. they made some delicious meal out of nothing, ... I only remember those 48 rolls of film in the fridge haha .. but that was a really cool idea (sorry again Markus .. I know it was my fault we did so haha). Last day we met at Thomas' place to have meal with Nora, himself and Julian, another guy from their LARP group. So we were four people for some nice salad (one with mango & cocos, one like caesars salad) and ciabatta with tomatoes & mozzarella cheese .. was tasty again. After this .. last round of Munchkin with Nora for a long time, .. we were joined by Markus & Alex (~Asphates) and we all won, as it was a tie in the end .. so to finish this part .. I don't like farewell scenes, .. you might know why when you already experienced some yourself.

Now Nora is gone for three months and we won't see her until middle of september .. already heard she's doin well in Corse and weather is fine there, the sea is wonderful and looks green-blue.

Three months I will have to look for a summer job too, .. didn't get any answer from the companies I wanted to work for .. no good for me, running out of money and therefore not able to go on holiday. (I wanted to visit some country in the south of europe this year, too bad) Only holiday I should make is a trip to Vienna in september, when Nora is back and Markus also returned from his two weeks in Northern England. Could be nice, as many of our friends are leaving for study or different stuff .. and they are all moving to Vienna during summer/autumn .. so too bad for us, we will loose a lot of close friends and I will miss those times when we were all together here in the south. .. to short journals, yes I do!

More then a week gone by since my last entry, our devmeet some 10 days ago, a lot of things passing by those days .. and I missed out a few chances to write an entry here .. now I forgot many things that might have found their way to these lines .. so for the moment I'm turning to short journals haha .. just because I'm lazy, happy and some other things that I can't write here .. that's too personal (someone at dA might be affected).

Our devmeet was great, barbecue, evening, everything was well organised and we had a lot of fun .. normally I would write a novel on that one, but it is way behind us and I don't want to .. sorry. Just look at the journals of =geek7, ~Gothic-Nyu, ~0v3n or *Beachdair if you want infos and pics .. some of mine are linked there too.

After the devmeet we had some relaxed days, I had some work for university too, went shopping with Nora (~Gothic-Nyu), played snooker with Thomas (~Schwachmaath), went to the city with Markus (=geek7) after getting my new black (yeah black is sexy right) OM-1 and tried it out (also did some table football play in the shopping center, where the promote Euro 2008 and have lots of actions this week). So I had some nice days .. that's all I have to say. Oh, ok .. we were in cinema tuesday last week .. again the whole group (ok some were missing) from the devmeet .. watching Pirates of the Caribean 3 .. was nice, but in my opinion the worst part of the trilogy.

No news from the developing front, warm water in the lab is now out for two or three weeks .. bastards, .. they should get it repaired .. have 4 or 5 rolls to develop and wait for pics I wanted to show people before they leave these days or in summer .. quite close and not much time left now. Now after getting the OM-1 in black, I will start analogue shooting again .. just had some leck the last 2, 3 weeks (ok at the devmeet I shot some roll of apx 400) .. just need to change weather, rainy during the last days. Bought a new radio with MP3 and USB possibility and accepted a bid for a new messenger bag on ebay. Radio is playing behind me right now .. and that bag should arrive the next days

Last but not least, just 1 1/2 weeks until Nora is leaving for 3 months, goin to Corsica for work .. not good for summer, especially when thinking of ~Kirimaus leaving for Vienna in July .. and then ~Schwachmaath goin to Vienna for study in september (ok in september Nora will be back and we might have some trip together .. could be fun). So for the moment things are focused on doin' stuff with friends, .. enjoy one or two days with our friends .. could be thursday (holiday here) when we go for some tennis or beachvolleyball .. and lets see what the weekend will bring to the country. Tonight I look for some night-shopping in the shopping center as the open until 11P.M. and there are some vouchers I might get some DVDs with. Someone wanna join me???

Now you see I'm getting long again .. hm didn't I say "turning to short" .. hm, ok ..

Some one hour from now I will jump into my car and head to Gallizien. First I have to pick up ~Schwachmaath some streets next to me (he lives quite close) and with him on board it goes on to pick up ~Gothic-Nyu at her home, which is a little village called Pischeldorf. (just some 10km from here). From there we will directly drive to ~Kirimaus place in Gallizien, again some 20 minutes to go by car and there we will meet all the others. Kiri is our host for this devmeet, offering her house for fun after the barbecue in the afternoon and for sleep in the night

So when we arrive in time, this should be around 2PM we will load off all the stuff we bring along and afterwards drive to the river where we have the barbecue. We are 9 people for this, which are we three already mentioned .. =geek7, *Beachdair, ~Kirimaus, ~northwulf and ~0v3n. In the evening, when we are back at Kiri's place, ~Asphates will join us for evening & night. At the river we will have a barbecue, do some water action and have fun in the sun .. relax and do nothin' .. just chillin' and listen to music, playing cards .. of course we have some cams with us and I promise you pictures for the next days! Btw we need a group picture this time

Tomorrow after breakfast (don't think the night will be short, .. it will be a very long one .. I have 9 DVDs with me and we have a playstation, my poker suitcase, maybe some activity game, .. so after night and breakfast we all will go home and have some nice sunday (looking for poker evening with friends, hm). Monday or Tuesday (Monday would be nice as more people have time I think) is cinema day .. will watch Pirates of the Caribean 3 with some 8 or 9 people (mostly from the devmeet) .. stay tuned for more news and info .. will give you a report tomorrow .. for now, have a nice one!

First of all I hope you enjoyed the drink recipe from last time, maybe some of you tried and give me some feedback did you like it?

So, what comes next is another long (or maybe short) entry, which I thought about for some hours. Now there was no title, .. I thought "entertaining" would be nice and short, or "c'mon" could be interesting, .. but in the end took "time management" .. just as it really fits the actual situation.

Days get longer, summer came into the city and it's quite hot outside every day .. we had the first days with 30° celcius this week and it's still so sweltry, .. I don't like it .. I do like sun and warm weather but it's not fine to sit at the university, sometimes sit in a computer room with 20 computers in it .. have that feeling of sitting in hell around me. Today I had an english course on media .. we talked about magazines and it was some sort of boring to me and there was such hot air in that room, no circulation of wind or open windows .. baaahh. So good I just had 1 1/2 hours there and went home again to check some things.

Time management is the title, reason is simple .. as there come many things these days. First, tomorrow, will have university again .. they also have a little fleamarket there tomorrow and maybe I will also meet some people in front of university. Tomorrow is the last day of our university elections and therefore the last days with those stands in front of the university. Yesterday I was sitting at one stand, met some poker friends there and suddenly we had some play .. someone had a little chips-case in his car and so we played with 5 people in front of the university .. first in rain and later in sunshine haha .. I made such a nice game first but later on made some mistake and afterwards got out by some bad beat of my opponent .. but hey, who cares .. was just for fun .. so maybe tomorrow gonna do that again haha. (already had some poker evening on sunday, .. 10 people at the table .. first had a play with 3 others and won it .. yeah; 10 people was a bit full for one table .. so slow action there, .. but it was fun anyway .. played until 0.30 A.M. and I got third and forth on the two rounds we played there)

After university, lectures, fleamarket, pokerplay .. we will see .. I go into weekend as there's nothing on friday and as we also have holidays on monday and tuesday I have 5 days off .. oh nice May haha .. so far great. Friday will be preparation day for our devmeet. As you might already know, there's our 3rd Carinthian Devmeet on saturday, goin until sunday .. meeting for some barbecue saturday afternoon and have fun together .. do that all next to a river with chances to take some quick swim haha. So saturday I will head to Gallizien, which is the place were we meet up. It's not far from here, just some 20 minutes drive from my place I would say .. already checked the location last weekend on a short trip as I never was there before. I will have ~Gothic-Nyu and ~Schwachmaath on my car and we will meet =geek7 (who takes *Beachdair with him) at ~Kirimaus place in Gallizien, .. she is our host this time. Other deviants there will be ~northwulf and ~0v3n as I know so far .. maybe others follow but these are the fixed participants. Too bad two of our girls from Vienna had to cancel there visit, .. but I hope you will come next time .

My favorite drink at the moment is a Mint Cooler. Made it today's afternoon, right after returning from a long walk with my mum (yes it's mother's day, we don't "celebrate" it, but I promised her to make something together). We went through a big park near university and along the east shore of lake wörthersee, .. had the OM-1 with me, but just made some 4 or 5 shots, nothing spectacular in my way

So coming back to the drink, .. you know I love to make cocktails and my shaker & jigger are important things for me when goin' into summertime haha. So this time I decided to make something refreshing after enjoying sunshine outside.

Recipe for the Mint Cooler is:

- 2 cl mint syrup
- 1 cl lemon juice
- 8 cl orange juice
- 8 cl passion fruit (maracuja) juice

Take your shaker, fill it with a lot of ice, put all ingridients in (in the order I wrote above .. you should always add the syrup first) and shake it. Served in a long drink or fancy glass, also filled with some ice on the bottom if you like. Ready for chilling Have fun!

Beside that .. shot some choir concert, folk music event last friday, .. so I missed my poker evening I was looking for, but it was a job so I had to shoot that event. Money isn't much, even don't know how much I will get but it's paid - that's what I know. Actually not the best situation for my press activities, maybe also not so motivated .. anyways I need the money. haha .. met =geek7 by accident, he came there as he knew I have to work there, .. he made some pics of me in action, maybe I'll post them later on.

Uploaded some pictures from Vienna again, digital stuff again .. no film .. still need to develop my rolls .. I know, boring to write always the same and keep you waiting .. I'm sorry. I hope we will make it to the lab these days (tomorrow? hm) and I get my scans soon too!

This week we have some holiday on thursday, so I just have classes on tuesday morning & evening and on wednesday around late morning. My grands go to Croatia from wednesday to monday, so I hope they gonna have a lot of fun and good weather there .. and may take some shots with grandpa's cam (little Panasonic). Looking forward to a sunny week, maybe time for a lot of street shooting from wednesday on, as I have enough free days .. hopefully getting chance for some poker play on the weekend too.

Weather isn't that good during these days, many cloudy and windy hours, rain from time to time .. some sort of grey boring weather ... so I decided to go shopping yesterday. I needed a dark jacket for cool mornings or evenings (as my white one is getting dirty very fast) and got a thin black one. Beside I was in need of some new shoes (got some really nice ones haha) and a jeans, .. but the jeans didn't work .. so I decided to buy some shorter pants (3/4 length) in army design haha .. never had such pants .. but I liked it from the first moment.

I hope there will be time for the roll developing on friday or saturday, I really need those slides from the two rolls I shot in Vienna some 3 weeks ago .. no time so far. So for the moment I'll upload some digital ones now, as I have to fill the space in my gallery haha.

University wasn't very thrilling those days, .. just had one important class .. all others just normal stuff. Have my problems with statistics class, which isn't my thing .. I'm not a math-pro so this is a bit heavy for me. Today gonna visit university around 10 A.M. but won't have classes, maybe just taking photos with the OM-1 there. Tomorrow I gonna have some job in the evening, making photos at a choir concert (which I don't really like to do, but I have to). Would be happier to join a poker table at a friend's place .. too bad

Devmeet Three in Carinthia is coming closer, .. will take place from 26th to 27th of May, doin' a big barbecue at a river, chilling & having fun with friends .. I hope some of our friends from Vienna think about coming to this one, .. already know that *Beachdair will head down to south again. Right now I'm sitting at the university and listen to some lecture on video filming. It's quite interesting, but unfortunately it's the last lesson from this class, so this will be over shortly. Would like to have more classes like this, but that's not so common .. too bad .. funny thing beside, there were many people missing at the beginning (9 A.M.) and some came in later looking like they had a long night and have a hang-over (or are still drunk haha) ... and they are very funny & happy haha.

After this class today (which will be over by 11 A.M. I think) I have a re-scheduled week of university, .. last part of the video class is cancelled (was scheduled for tomorrow evening, but we don't hold this one), .. so just normal stuff tomorrow morning and I could visit my class on web publishment as the video thing is cancelled. Beside, just have the boring lecture on thursday, .. so again a lot of free time ..

I hope there will be some time for developing my two rolls from the Vienna trip and take some new shots with the OM-1 (already have a Agfa APX 400 in it and started with some 3 or 4 pics at my dinner eve on saturday). Btw the evening was quite nice, .. the meal was good and I think my guests were satisfied with the delicious pizzas I made for them (hawaii, diavolo & cheese .. think there was something for everyone haha). So my italian dinner (now you know what I prepared, .. maybe give some pics to my scraps when I get the scans from geek7 who made some shots with his OM-2n) was ok .. the movies afterwards did their job too .. why were "Saw 2" and "2001 Maniacs" .. finishing at 1 A.M. , being quite tired. Got some cachaca rum, brown sugar & lemons from my guests, so it's time for mojitos & caipirinhas now

Beside today: No poker and bowling last week, everything cancelled due to organisational problems and too few people to come and take part in each. So trying to get some poker evening set up the coming week .. weekend looks good as I don't have any classes scheduled after thursday morning.

Some two hours from now I will have ~Gothic-Nyu, ~Schwachmaath & =geek7 at my place, invited to my flat for dinner & an evening of fun. They don't know what the cook (me of course) will serve tonight haha .. so it may be a surprise, but be sure I'm not doin' something difficult or exotic haha ... just normal stuff they should like .. I hope so. After our dinner we will have some movie on DVD in the living room, .. might watch "Saw 2" as gothic-nyu wished yesterday, .. but maybe we change the selection in the last moment, .. but I think it will be a horror night.

I hope we make some photos, my cam is ready and I don't think geek7 is coming without any cam haha .. as he normally doesn't leave all cams at home. So await some shots from our evening. Now I'm heading to the kitchen again, .. have to make the last preparations

- got the first mark for this semester, which was for the paper I wrote some 2 weeks ago and for the class too .. it's a C (or 3) .. hoped for something better but it's ok

- already finished writing the report & paper for the other seminar on interpersonal communication, .. just need to make the "conversation analysis" and add it, so it will be really finished

- my Tarantino Collection is nearly finished too, after getting Natural Born Killers Directors Cut last weekend at the fleamarket, I bought the Kill Bill Collection during the week .. I wanted it for a long time, now got it for a good price and so just one quentin-movie (which he just wrote the script for) missing

- should go to the darkroom tomorrow and develop the two rolls from Vienna

Lots of duties these days, a lot of stuff done during the last ones .. already had a nice week and weekend, met up with friends and now, awaiting the national holiday tomorrow, I look forward to a nice week without many hours at the campus .. just need to visit one seminar on wednesday morning, not much for one week but there's a good plan for me this time

After University on Friday and Saturday (a blocked seminar which is finished now, .. was very interesting) I relaxed during Saturday evening, ... met with ~Schwachmaath and played some snooker & pool. Wasn't too bad on the big snooker table that time, .. but it is way to big for a little guy like me (prefer the smaller, not-tournament table). Later on had a poker game at the location with some guys we met there by accident, .. we didn't know them .. 4 guys & 1 girl, much younger than us but who cares haha .. I won that game but it was a "just-for-fun" play .. had a good day.

Sunday was time for the fleamarket Markus, Nora & Thomas already visited on Saturday. I met with Markus (=geek7) and Nora (~Gothic-Nyu) again and we walked over the meadows and dusty roads of the market ..that was for a very long time. We had fun .. but for more see my notes below. Btw we will have an evening at my place on Saturday, .. invited them all for dinner and some movie evening (ok movie not sure so far I think haha) .. I hope they bring along some appetite .. and there's some secret for Nora, but I won't tell her before Saturday .. think she's already gone a bit crazy 'bout that fact haha. [that's why the title says "thanks for asking" .. cause I took that one out of a movie quote from "From Dusk Till Dawn" haha]

In all, beside my daily workout on my homebike, I got some invitations for other "sports" those days .. after already had snooker, billard & poker on saturday .. there's a poker evening tomorrow I should take part (this time with some good friends from my study) and later on that week, on Thursday, I might join ~black-Syla and some of her friends when they have their Bowling session, but that's not sure so far.

University & Life

- no news from my paper .. didn't get any mark for it so far

- finished the blocked seminar on interpersonal communication last weekend; need to write some analysis now, but nearly finished with the work for that seminar .. I'm happy

- as already told you .. met with ~Gothic-Nyu and =geek7 yesterday, visited the big fleamarket

- bought two cheap DVDs there (Natural Born Killers Directors Cut & Casino Special Edition) .. nice pull I think

- now developing could start, but I think not before Thursday, or maybe later

So there we are .. after all that Vienna related stuff, my blog entry from yesterday morning .. finally I had time to view my digital ones from the trip .. the two rolls still need to be developed the next days.

For the moment just some short notes to you (and the rest below those as always):

University & Life:
- got my paper for university printed and will deliver it tomorrow
- three more days of campus this week, .. friday (half day), saturday (full day)
- bought some shorts & a shirt as weather gets better and better .. sunshine yeah

Review on Vienna:

- got all the films stored in my fridge, .. hope it's enough for some time

General Photography:
- was on tour with =geek7 today's afternoon, walking through the city
- shot the rest of the APX100 I put into cam in Vienna as 2nd film of the trip

Finally back from EMO-CITY a.k.a. VIENNA .. arrived Klagenfurt at 9 P.M. yesterday evening. We had two really great days in our capital, meeting some friends, do a lot of shopping, walk around for some miles .. and have fun. (right know I'm sitting at university and listen to some boring statistics lecture .. so enough time to report that trip haha)

Started at 6:48 A.M. on Sunday and left the train in Vienna at 11 A.M. , some minutes later we met with our host *Beachdair who dressed up in his latest kilt and the rest of his scottish outfit. So we went to his flat by tram, had some relaxed hour checking internet and try out his xbox 360 (nice stuff) .. phoned up some friends and then headed to the city center again to do a lot of street photography and meet with some other deviants.

Approx. in mid-afternoon with were walking up and down the Mariahilfer Strasse and there we met ~alife, *Corvi and ~gaiakiyarae .. nice to see them again after our last meeting in August last year. The street was relativily empty in relation to normal days but when came nearer to the center the croud got more and more .. so there were masses of people, lots of tourist of course .. especially around Hofburg & Stephansplatz (seen a lot of cameras that day, .. but most of them digital .. just a few film-shooters .. hm). So we walked around, did some street (most time analogue .. myself changed to digital for some time .. also to get some pics of the meeting just ready for journals haha). After Sarah had some ice and Sebi got his pizza (yeah we have another pizza photo of him haha) we walked on .. back to Stephansplatz and down Kärntner Strasse to the Burggarten where we stopped and chilled in the meadow. There with us were some hundreds (or maybe more) of people, most young as we ... widely spread from people having jam session and do some music, some relaxed in the sun, doidsports, played chess, just talked with friends .. and some did there photos .. and yes, there were a lot of emos too haha. (seen so many emos that two days .. so I will call our capital emo-city in future haha )

Around 6 P.M. we had to say bye to our friends and they took the tube home. We walked back through some park and streets (Markus did some traditional tourist shots for our friends in the U.S.) to our tram station to get the train to Werner's flat again. After a quick stop and some refreshment we went to the Molly Darcy's .. an irish pub near the Rathausplatz. Arrived at 10 P.M. and had some delicious meal and drink, watched some snooker on the pub's tv screen and left the place around midnight. Walked home and stayed up until 2:30 in the morning .. so just had a short sleep during the night

Yesterday then Markus and I did a lot of shopping .. first went to work with Werner, myself looking for a little bag for short trips (alternative to backpack and big shoulder bag), both getting first films which was Tri-X400 (already got some from Werner at home before) and ilford photo paper for Markus. We left our big luggage in the shop and went down the shopping streets near this place (Mariahilfer and so on), looked some some lenses, went to Leica Shop and other photo stores .. got some more APX100 & APX400 (already had half we wanted from Werner's fridge haha) .. unfortunately didn't get any Plus-X 125 or Delta 400, shops just ran out of it (the cheap ones) or had enough but were to expensive ... so for the moment we both should have enough with 20 mixed APX, 5 Tri-X400, one Delta400 (got it as a gift later) .. Markus got a PanF instead and some other "cheap" (don't mean price) color films we got for free. Markus got his XTol in another shop .. so photo stuff shopping was good . Tomorrow at 7 A.M. I will sit in the train to Vienna, which leaves Klagenfurt at approx. 6.48 in the morning. Will arrive in our capital some quarter past 11 and so starts our two days adventure with a lot of photography, meeting friends and have some shopping. [btw .. think most of the viennese deviants from our devmeet in 06, have my number .. just call if you want to meet!]

Got the Olympus OM-1 today, .. for the moment it's a silver one I get on loan for this weekend, attached my 50/1.8 lens which stays with me, after the weekend. Next weekend I get my black one and give the silver back. Looking forward to an awesome cam and a lot of fun with it .. already happy about the feeling of this cam! Just great

Sunday will be "funday" with other deviants (*Beachdair, ~alife, *Corvi, .. maybe someone else) and do a lot of street & other stuff ... evening says irish pub chilling . Monday will be shopping day .. =geek7 and I.. we both need b/w films for analogue shooting, .. myself looking for a small bag (as I only have my big shoulder bag and the backpack) for little trips and walks, .. and maybe some t-shirt or jacket, we will see. (won't buy DVDs!!)

Fixed our plans for the trip to Vienna, .. ready to ride. Trip date has changed, .. not goin on saturday, .. instead leaving the city on sunday 22nd and have one night in Vienna, so coming back on monday afternoon/evening. My good friend ~alife inspired me to make my own blog, as he just set one up by himself. I know, .. many people have blogs .. and of course many photographers have blogs, many b/w photographers have blogs for their photos and stories .. so one more now, that's me .. haha .. and yes it's nothing new, it's just a blogger like many others have it (for example severin's blog, which is always worth reading .. especially since he left dA, too).

So you could find my blog under [link] .. will write a lot there and photos will find there place too, .. maybe a good sign and so my journals will get clearer and loose some content to that blog .. but I will link here everytime I update it.

Beside that I'm thinking about buying an analogue cam for my own, especially as we are goin to visit Vienna next week (Sat. 21st) for one day and go to our special dealer there (which means visit the shop *Beachdair is working in haha). So I'm really making my mind about some offers I found on the net, but some were not the real thing, some were to expensive for the moment.

Now I found some offer for 120 (or 150) bucks, .. an Olympus OM2 with 35/2.8 (also possible with 50/1.8, but I get this lens from a friend, so thinking about the 35/2.8 offer). In the meantime I'm also interested in a Nikon FM2 but this would mean to save a bit more and not get the cam so soon. Still not clear what I'll do .. any suggestions?

So when heading to Vienna on saturday next week, this could be a semi-expensive trip as getting the cam with lens, need some films too (looking for Agfa APX100 and APX400, Kodak Tri-X400, Ilford HP5 and maybe something different like a Neopan 1600) .. so in total I think we both will have a number of 40 or more films ... and in the end will shop for my Lucky 13 shirt I won't get from the dealer in Staten Island (just wrote another mail that I don't need his service anymore .. forget it), as I already found two shops offering them, near to our photo stores in Vienna.

In reference to the title: noir et blanc = french for "black and white"

Yesterday went to the city to have some photo action on the streets. In the morning I walked alone, had most of my equipment with me and made a big mistake as I tried to shoot with my "big motha" aka 350D with battery grip, and for some shots even had the 70-200 L USM on it ... not good for street as we all know, just was a bit curious about my manner. So later, in the afternoon, called Markus (=geek7) on the net and he came to my place, wanted to give me his AE-1 with 50/1.8, but he missed to change the batteries .. so no good for me .. but hey, in the end it was very good for me haha

Instead of the AE-1 I took my 350D again, but this time removed the grip and just attached Markus' Sigma 30mm/f1.4 (of course had my own Canon 50mm/f1.8 with me too) and so we walked .. straight into the city for a lot of street shots .. he had his Voigtländer Bessa with him (quite cute and nice cam!! .. damn great). From south to north, from east to west .. think we cruised trough the streets for some 4 hours, and it was real fun .. in the end I had 146 pics on my card .. some just shot out of the hip and holding it by the side, but it faced pretty well. So no wonder there are four new shots on my gallery .. now finally I can present you something new .. I'm happy (and still some 16 others or more waiting for upload, but I won't do too much in one .. parts are better).

Easter was some sort of a disaster in parts, weather converted to the dark side (oh yeah they have cookies haha) and it was a bit rainy and cloudy, .. after all yesterday sun came out again but I had no luck with that as I had to make something with the family. Saturday was traditional easter stuff like we have in Austria with that big meal and so on, sunday was no good and we stayed at home and yesterday we went on a trip by car .. first they wanted to visit Venice (which would have been nice for me, .. but I said it's not good for easter, too many tourists .. so we cancelled) but we just made it to the near regions, drove to a valley and I had to sit in car for some 4 hours, just seeing mountains and valleys, trees and a lot of forests and streets through those .. it was no fun .. I wanted to walk and I wanted some movement (of course with my cam) .. in the end I just made some 10 pictures that day (had my whole equipment with me, .. damn) and that were shots of family and wanted pictures of a church .. so family is great, I love them, it's nice .. but don't like that stuff of trips and goin to see hills, forest & churches haha .. lonely countryside yippie-ey-ay .. haha.

Before easter I went to cinema with some friends, as already written on my last journal. Those friends were *Gothic-Nyu, ~Schwachmaath and ~menalie .. and we enjoyed our great evening watching "300" which is a really awesome movie .. many don't like it, but we found it pretty nice. Just shut off your brain and look at the wall full of colorful pictures, listen to the sound and have fun ... gave it some 4/5 points and I think some time it will make it's way to my DVDs

Btw DVDs, .. you might know that I saved money during the last two months, when I hold myself together and didn't buy any new movie for my collection. That was good for my purse. Now I had two "bad" weeks haha .. and my collection got some additions which were 7 pieces from a sale (take 4 and pay 3), two others for some 5 euros each and in the end the most expensive one for 10 euros which was From Dusk Till Dawn, which finally made it to me .. I have all Tarantino movies, except Kill Bill 1&2 .. and FDTD was missing too .. now it's here .. great hehe

Today then I made it to the bowling center, meeting with ~Schwachmaath and 3 of his friends. (before, in the morning I had to check something for my car .. needed that austrian type of "test badge" you need to make every year) So met around 3PM and drove to the center, had some drink and waited that 3 to come, .. which was around 4PM, when we started our game, that should last for three rounds and 2 1/2 hours. Why do I tell you that? Simply one reason .. it was MY day .. first time I made a score of more than 150 points on one round .. which was 153 in round 2, beating all others by miles .. and in last round I made another 137 points, so I had another high score for me (ok I know, pro's play way better, but hey I'm a guy who plays bowling one time a month normally haha, if so) .. so I still want to improve my play, but it was great for me .. in the end I had a total score of 382 points after 3 rounds, second had some 293, third 290 points .. next time hopefully again such a day, all had fun and enjoyed it I think.

Holidays quite ok so far, not the best weather today .. yesterday was sunny and very nice temperatures made it outside, .. I was dressed way to warm haha .. next time gonna get the thin jacket instead of the leather one haha that should be better. Beside the last days had good conditions, but I had no time for photos so far, .. this should change tomorrow as I want to make it outside and shot a lot of pics, .. maybe gonna shoot everything what comes in front of my lens haha .. you'll see (looking forward to some friend(s) to join .. we will see)

My website is finally ready for re-launch .. now after some months thinking about the color scheme I came through and changed the already finished design from white and bright to dark and grey, with blue .. like my journal style is .. so have a look @ brainpixels.net if you want to see my new portfolio.. but be awared, the gallery is not ready [and some said the info text is looking like the CV of a politician haha, .. should change that too]

Today evening gonna see cinema premiere of Zack Snyder's "300" with *Gothic-Nyu, ~Schwachmaath and ~menalie .. hope we'll have a nice evening and see a good movie (heard of a bad german synchro, but they mostly don't offer the original version at cinema here) .. but who cares, I tend to watch movies first in german afterwards sometimes in english

No contact with the shop owner in staten island so far, no reply on my e-mails and a friend's phone calls (sitting in the US, so it's no problem for her), .. still waiting for my shirt .. at the moment it looks like I won't pay anything and cancel my order .. stupid bastard that's not interested in making money haha.

Had a poker afternoon/evening on sunday .. from 3PM until 8.30PM, .. was quite fun .. in the end we were really tired as the lights in the corner of the bar we were playing, was a bit dark for the last 2 or 3 hours of that eve, so needed a good sleep .. btw didn't won anything, but didn't loss anything too .. came out with a balanced purse haha. Looking forward to a bigger round with friends after easter, .. wednesday or so, we'll see (I have some days in my mind and fixtures too, .. so I don't exactly know what to do during these days .. so many things to think about .. everyone tells me events or things to do haha)

visited MQ and had a relaxed evening in a bar (made a lot of nice dA friends there, met them all for the first time .. some 12 people there)

- 1st Klagenfurt DevMeet on 9th of December -
was a great thing, went to an irish pub, a shisha cafe and a club room to have beamer show with photos there. (13 people were meeting)

- Inofficial 2nd Klagenfurt DevMeet a week before X-Mas 2006 -
been to a bowling arena in the city, some were bowling for the first time - most of us just had experience of one or two plays before, so it was really fun. (8 people came to the meeting)

- 3rd Klagenfurt DevMeet (official 2nd one) -
took place on 24th of February, met with approx. 10 to 12 deviants in a club house in the city; had a photo shooting there with backgrounds and flash-system, was quite fun and think we gonna make something like this more often now. Next Devmeet is scheduled somewhere in the end of may. (already heard of something like 28th or 29th may)

Some 14 days since last my entry, time to bring you some news

First of all we had St. Patricks Day after my last journal, .. *Beachdair visited us for a day, .. had a nice evening @ the pub(s) but I had to leave early as it was a weekend at university for me too. After the weekend we had that terrible monday, with winter coming back .. after no snow the whole winter, we got a nice snow landscape in the city .. and silly as I am, met up with ~Schwachmaath to have some pool and darts at a bar, .. in the early afternoon when snow was falling, and falling, and falling .. and didn't stop .. so we had to walk home (after some 3 hours or so) in a good surface of 10 to 20 cm's snow on the streets and I think this is why I got ill the days after

So from Tuesday 20th on I had a strong cold, .. first only a hard cough but later from Thursday on my nose wanted to join and in the end I had some temperature too, ... so I wasn't really healthy. Stayed at home over the weekend and went to university on Tuesday again, .. not ok but good enough to have my lessons there. The cold got better and better, .. until yesterday it was still here. Today is the first day I can say it's gone .. not totally, still a bit of it remaining, but it's good haha

Today I went shopping with *Gothic-Nyu, .. I love to do that cause she's a good advisor and a good companion for shopping .. I hope I'm too and she liked it like I did again (were on shopping tour for the second time). So we met @ 11AM and walked around until approx. 3PM, later on ~Schwachmaath joined us for some hot chocolate at a coffee bar. Gave them 7 DVDs from my collection for a little DVD evening or so, hope you gonna like them and have fun watching [btw my dvd collection grew yesterday and today, 5 new pieces after 2 months of buying no DVD haha .. I really save money with that!! .. but now collection reached number of 175 (or was it 176 haha, I don't know)]

Unfortunately the shopping was not very successful, maybe we just hadn't our day .. both just got one shirt (I wanted some zipper or hoodie too, she looked for shoes and other shirts) .. but those shirts kick ass haha .. fell in love with stuff from Lucky 13, king kerosin, felon and skullsports some weeks ago, .. now have my first shirt from those ..



.. bought this one in the only shop in city which offers them, .. need to visit Vienna as soon as possible to get some one or two others haha .. but already order a Lucky 13 (Booze Bikes and Broads) shirt on ebay, which comes from the US, so this should last some time and I hope to get it until May [shitty shop owner I noticed so far, .. but has tons of good reviews, .. who knows such things haha]

Tomorrow goin to have a poker afternoon with friends, .. wish me luck and good cards .. will meet with ~Schwachmaath there, last time I took him of the table at our university tournament, when I had my first poker (4 fours) against his full house hehe .. hope not to take him off again cause that was really bad, but that's poker. Just thought about writing "freakend" instead of weekend .. I don't know why, maybe just because of university which is waiting for me tomorrow and sunday .. so it's some sort of freakend and not weekend haha.

Tomorrow session two of a nice course I started today .. it's on interpersonal communication, very interesting and funny - love it - that are the courses I want to have every week, that's what makes university good and fine! So looking forward to it .. freakend could come haha .. sunday is more boring I know that already (have the start of sunday's course tomorrow morning, but there will be a wired and boring lecturer and nothing interesting on that one .. should quickly leave the room and go to my fun & laughing course haha) [ was nice, we started the session today with listening to some CDs the lecturer had with him, .. loud and nice haha - and beside that I met a lot of new people and learned a lot about communication between people .. good for me ]

St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, .. irish national holiday .. and *Beachdair is comin' to town for a quick visit, .. 1 1/2 days to be we us and have a nice evening at the irish pub. I already promised my participation in that evening, .. maybe not long as university is scheduled for 9AM on sunday again, but we gonna have a drink or two .. should get the AE-1 from =geek7 and will try a T-MAX 3200, .. long time since I last had an analogue cam in my hand.

Last but not least I will make a playlist with songs I actually listen to and my favorite songs I don't wanna miss on any playlist .. decided to create such a list these days as weather should get a bit cold and after monday (when my plans go for takin' photos in the city and a maybe last visit at our photo dealer who closes with end of month) there should be enough time beside university.

- 1st Klagenfurt DevMeet on 9th of December -
was a great thing, went to an irish pub, a shisha cafe and a club room to have beamer show with photos there. (13 people were meeting)

- Inofficial 2nd Klagenfurt DevMeet a week before X-Mas 2006 -
been to a bowling arena in the city, some were bowling for the first time - most of us just had experience of one or two plays before, so it was really fun. (8 people came to the meeting)

- 3rd Klagenfurt DevMeet (official 2nd one) -
took place on 24th of February, met with approx. 10 to 12 deviants in a club house in the city; had a photo shooting there with backgrounds and flash-system, was quite fun and think we gonna make something like this more often now. Next Devmeet is scheduled somewhere in the end of may.

Awesome weekend behind me, nice university week so far too. Beginning last friday with poker tournament in evening, played some of my worst poker ever - after dropping out I changed table and walked on with cash-games. Lost in 4th place on the first game (out of 9 people); went on to another one and made 1st place (5 people on table) .. took my win into one last game for that day and went out on 4th of 8 again. Nice evening .. but no gain in the end, of course no points for the ranking - but I had fun.

Saturday came and I had a relaxing morning at home and went to get some food and drinks for the weekend. In the afternoon, around 4PM, I went to ~Schwachmaath's place to meet with him, ~Gothic-Nyu and some friends of them. Was invited for dinner and they cooked some delicious italian food. After all that fun (in the kitchen, having the meal, laughing a lot, learn how to play with nintendo wii) we finally went to the city center to have a quick "sleep-drink" at the irish pub. Thx again for that nice evening!!

Sunday then poker again took part in the 3rd day of the event (after not playing saturday as many others did too) .. this time played better and came to 2nd round, .. finished in 18th place .. but that's just 1 loosy point for the year ranking, too bad .. that won't be enough in total but there a plenty of chances coming up the next month's .. After leaving my tournament table I played a 5 euro buy-in cash-game again .. and made a wonderful appearance there .. played my best poker ever .. never had a poker (4 fours) on my hand (too bad it was against ~Schwachmaath's full house who played too on sunday, so I pushed him of the table, .. sorry again mate) .. terrific plays as chip leader of course .. and in the end came to heads up (out of 8 people) .. went both all-in with no look at the cards (we wanted to come home and leave the place haha) .. and I lost .. (had 2, 3 and he had 2, 7 .. haha so close and curious) but 2nd place was double of buy-in so I won 10 euros .. happy day for me .. and finally my first "big pot" haha .. this made my day and weekend, .. hopefully soon again like this.

Last but not least I just got an info that *Beachdair is comin' to town over the weekend. He makes some short-visit on saturday and sunday, also to celebrate st. patrick's day (irish holiday) here in town with us, .. so a visit @ the irish pub(s) is planned. Unfortunately I have university during the weekend, long classes and courses from morning to late afternoon (9AM-6PM normally) and I don't know if I can have a short look and say "hello" .. but I hope so, would be nice

Btw something new, ... I hope you like the new style of my journal, .. I needed a change as the colors were so "grey" and the graphics were ugly in my eyes .. didn't like anymore, so now a bit more color with the blue and as a contrast to the dark grey/black I added some white again.

A week of not much interest is comin' to it's end .. no special things to report, just the normal stuff, university and freetime duties.

Had pretty nice start into the week, after my grandpa left for his ski holiday on saturday I was at home with mum and grandma - so I decided to have fun with them and learned them how to play poker .. we had a nice sunday afternoon with texas hold' em .. but afterwards I was angry about myself as the weather outside was like in spring, wonderful sunshine .. should have gone outside and take photos.

Ok that was sunday, .. next up was monday .. university finally started again .. kick off was an evening session which was scheduled from 4.30 PM to 8 PM .. but it only was a 15 min introduction into the course .. nothing more .. haha. So my new study was doin quite well on it's first day .. but that's something already learned from =geek7 as he does media communication too.

The following days I had two courses on tuesday, both ok .. one on mathematics (statistics) and one on general introduction about writing papers. Another one that was hold the same time, which is about web development, is also done .. I wasn't able to attend this introduction hour .. so I sent geek7 there who managed it for me. Wednesday I went shopping with my grandma, .. yeah I love it to be the driver .. and it was quite fun. Afterwards I went to a sports shop myself and bought a new jacket as I needed something thin for those warm days we have .. summer is clashing in really fast .. looks like spring is comin' and goin' in one piece.

So finally yesterday had just one lesson in the morning, but I left it early and changed my plans about this one (of course it is a very easy one, .. on webdesign and about internet .. not really difficult haha) and so I will do it in winter, .. too many other stuff at the moment (also at the same time what is not good as you might understand).

Unfortunately we had a lot of rain these days, .. that's also why grandpa is coming back earlier - normally he would have stayed (he's skiing in south-tyrol, italy) until saturday but it's rainy and snowy too there .. so he will head back home today .. so I may have more time tomorrow evening as I have some invitation to a meeting and/or dinner (will check the correct situation today). So after all the sunshine, it's quite like foolish april weather all the time

Today I will participate in 2nd university texas hold'em tournament .. as you might know from previous journals I already played the first one .. which was hold on 2 days, each counting for itself .. made a 19th and a 16th place there. This time I want to enter final table and reach last 6 .. ok .. first I want to be under top 15 or top 10, but final table would be great. This time the play 3 days .. but I don't play tomorrow, .. just take my place on sunday again .. so wish me luck and good cards for those two tournaments [will wear my new shirts I bought on my shopping tour with ~Gothic-Nyu and ~Schwachmaath .. today the black one with "maniac" on the front, which gothic-nyu chose for me hehe] (hopefully someone gets photos from the event again, ..last time they did but not the best ones and I was not on any)

Week started quite well, after all the devmeet and fun stuff on the weekend I had to manage some stuff at university and bring order to my time table at home

Today I went shopping with ~Gothic-Nyu and ~Schwachmaath, .. originally planed as a shopping tour just with gothic-nyu (as I asked her to be my style-adviser or better said shopping consultant haha) schwachmaath joined us too (ok I already knew that he might come to the shopping center too) and so we three had a pretty nice afternoon. I needed someone with me as I lately had problems to find something that fits me well on the one and looks good on the other hand too

So there we were, right there in the center .. met at 1PM and stayed together for some 3 to 4 hours, .. schwachmaath had to leave earlier because he was goin to some fitness training - .. we walked through the different stores, I tried several shirts and jackets, but at first just found one shirt. that shirt is great .. btw gothic-nyu found it for me .. so I couldn't say no hehe .. and of course I liked it from first moment. will post a picture tomorrow, forgot to make one today .. so you will see why she has chosen it haha.

After schwachmaath left the place we walked down to the old square, went into some other stores and finally got to a store I never walked in before .. looked at the window quite often, thinking about goin in, but never did .. today (both of us never entered) we went in and it was a good choice .. nice shop, great shirts .. love their t-shirt range (should go there soon again haha .. ok my moneybag says something different - I want to save) and I found another t-shirt (that shows poker signs and letters .. will wear it next week, more on that at the bottom half of this journal) and a thin pullover, quite right for the actual warm weather (gets better and better these days, .. will take my leather jacket soon). So in total it was a successful afternoon and I want to thank you two, ~Gothic-Nyu and ~Schwachmaath .. thx again for help hope we gonna do something like this again the following months

Beside all the clothing stuff I bought new poker cards (copag, 100% plastic .. really good quality .. they are flexible like rubber), a new USB stick with 1GB storage (as my old one was damaged by some stupid person at university, who infected it with a virus), ink cartridges for my printer and last but not least a folder to bring some order in lately printed stuff from university (need to arrange my cupboard full of uni-stuff tomorrow). In total spent a lot of money, so I wont buy a tripod or other lens so soon .. must wait for it.

Next weekend, not this week - I mean that one from 9th to 11th, I will participate in 2nd texas hold'em tournament at university. This time they offer three tournaments on the days from friday to sunday (last time 2 days, thursday & friday) but I won't play all three, that would be too much and exhausting .. so I entered for friday and sunday so wish me luck again .. hope to do my results from last time again (16th and 19th place), even better would be fine .. my wish is one final table, but this will be difficult .. lets see

*Beachdair's visit in Klagenfurt is over, the Devmeet too - I had a lot of fun and hopefully all others had fun too .. from all messages and feedbacks I heard ~northwulf and ~Kirimaus were perfect organizers for us - also in my opinion well done mates!

So let's start the journal (I hope it won't become a novel haha) with the points I finished up last time. I was at university and re-inscribed for my new study - everything went well - no problems there. Now waiting for courses to begin, first should be thursday but there is no time and place scheduled so far - so I have to wait, maybe first course will be next week monday if this wont take place. Yesterday evening I got an e-mail that the second university poker tournament will be next week - better said on the weekend 9th to 11th with 3 separate days .. but I will only participate in 2 tournaments - looks like it will be friday and sunday.

Now back to the visit of our friend *Beachdair here in Klagenfurt. After finishing all stuff around, finally the day of his arrival came and this was thursday. I started the day with a visit at my hairdresser as I needed a cut .. afterwards went home and after lunch I met up with our guest from Vienna and =geek7 who already went to town. They headed for our photo dealer to get some films for beachdair's analogue cam he just got some days before (a very nice piece I have to say) and we walked around, made some pictures .. I did some street and had luck with it (will show you some 3 or 4 new pieces in gallery) .. after some 2 hours I think we went home to geek7's flat and packed our backpacks for a tour in the country .. finally geek7 made it come true.. he got me to the Tscheppaschlucht (as insiders may know .. he tried that for two years and I always ran out of his fingers range haha) .. so after a quick stop at my place (as I just had my cam with me, no lenses beside the one on it) gettin' my equipment too - we went to the canyon .. and it was quite amazing. Beside it was closed (as we have a very strong winter and tons of snow HAHA .. "joking") we had to use a screwdriver to open the door [don't think it was illegal, you might get a key from somewhere near the entry but we needed to be quick haha] .. so there we were, below waterfalls and between stone-formations .. really quite amazing .. I loved it! Took a bunch of pics there, many making of shots from =geek7 and *Beachdair too (as geek7 got his tripod with him and made some pano at the big waterfall) .. but mostly really nice nature photos. Will show you some soon! (already got some online, but not on dA). Afterwards, some 1 1/2 hours later I think we headed back home, .. after getting phone calls from ~Schwachmaath and ~Gothic-Nyu as well as from a friend of mine, to come to the city and have some poker play in a bar. Weekend is over, new week starts .. lots of things to do, have to manage my calendar quite well.

First of all there's today: Goin to university in approx. one hour, have to make the re-inscription for my new study - which should last just some minutes. Afterwards need to check for some other stuff there. Rest of the day is not clear so far .. maybe I take my cam and go outside, .. read some magazines waiting on my desk and plan the next days.

Tomorrow during the day I have nothing scheduled I think, but that may change. For the evening =geek7 and I planed our next visit at the hockey arena - so we are goin to icehockey again .. should be a nice game and evening, we'll see.

Wednesday could be preparation day for the devmeet and *Beachdair's 2nd visit .. need to check for uni again, ... uh I don't know haha.

Thursday then we gonna start the fun machine .. first of all have a date with my hairdresser in the morning, need to get a fresh cut as hair is already a bit too long haha. When finished there I will quickly head for the train station, maybe not quick enough we'll see .. if I'm happy should arrive in time and =geek7 and I will welcome *Beachdair who's coming from Vienna. Afterwards a day of action, what is not fixed so far .. waiting for the day.

Friday could be a sports day as we (as beachdair wishes) want to make a bowling session (maybe the day for it, .. but not sure) and for the evening I scheduled a poker table with friends .. so we will have ~Gothic-Nyu, ~Schwachmaath, *Beachdair and myself at the table, together with two or three more friends .. and =geek7 will make photos .. looks like a nice evening with texas hold em.

Saturday not much things planed, as it's the day of our second official carinthian devmeet. We will meet in the early afternoon, somewhere near the location from first meet .. and have model shooting there - what comes after this is open - maybe a visit at the irish pub or something different hehe.

Sunday evening *Beachdair will leave city after four days of funtime .. so hopefully this last day of his stay will be nice too.

Yesterday I was in the darkroom with =geek7 (have a look at his journal, made a pic from him in the red light hehe) and developed some prints. To bad I left my film at home and so wasn't able to make some prints of my shots too .. just got the wrong box with me .. so it was a learn day for me, first time in such a lab .. was quite interesting and I wanna do it again, next time with my prints of course hehe.

Two days ago =geek7 and ~Gothic-Nyu visited Vienna. They had chance to make a one-day-trip there as austrian railway offered cheap tickets for 24 hours, .. me wasn't pleased about a one-day-trip there, not enough time in my eyes and of course I know - when goin to Vienna I wanna do shopping and money is a precious good haha. So I decided to stay at home .. but as I know they had a pretty nice day without me .. good! Had a pretty nice day, lots of news .. most very good

First of all I decided to make a big change in my life .. better said in my study. Had some talk to a professor at my university yesterday and afterwards it was clear that the thoughts I had during the last weeks are the right ones .. I change my field of study - business studies are past - media and communication studies is future for me (it's the same study =geek7 does) .. so call me a "freshman" again haha .. now after six years being at the university I start a new one again, .. get all my exams from business credited to my new study so I don't loose so much time .. anyways it's the best choice I could make as business got more and more boring for me and I wasted time and made no real headway during the last three semesters. So wish me luck

Beside, .. private things & fun haha: Got my Poker Suitcase today - mail delivered in the morning, nice silver suitcase with 500 pieces of good, solid chips (11,5 to 12 g each) and some two card decks (not very good ones, just crappy paper .. need to buy some professional plastic cards soon) .. so now it's time for the first poker evening with some friends (looks like we gonna have one friday next week when *Beachdair comes to town for the 2nd carinthian devmeet on saturday hehe.

In the afternoon we (=geek7, ~zero-, my friend Conny and her colleague Nicky) went to the bowling center to have fun with balls and pins. Myself playing very well this time .. was really surprised .. winner of the day was ~zero- who made the final score, leading after three rounds of play .. me went out in third place, just defeated by 2nd by some points, which was Conny (she had her best performance so far). So this was fun - hope to do it soon again like this .. photos available on =geek7's journal and his flickr account!

Last but not least got my car back in morning, .. back from the paintshop. All scratches gone now, back of the car has a really nice touch again .. looks like new .. of course I like the color of my car .. nevertheless sometimes this midnight-blue-metallic is anoying because you see every little disturbing thing on it .. and of course dust and dirt are my car's natural enemies haha.

Holidays are boring from time to time .. yes they are! Actually weather is changing very often .. today it even rained in the morning .. but normally we had sunshine these days - so I'm fine, just need inspiration for my work with cam. Mainly looking forward to our devmeet next week, .. looks like we gonna have some model shooting there .. could be fun .. I hope so.

Went into city yesterday afternoon with =geek7, he already wrote something on that in his latest entry. Walked up and down the city center, myself looking for some one or two new sunglasses hehe .. you know I'm some sort of "shade-addicted-freak", but at the moment I want some shades that are in my mind, .. don't get them anywhere .. so need to find a good shop soon haha (maybe have a look in another city or goin on a short trip to Italy these days .. we'll see).

Fell in love with the Sigma 30mm f1.4 .. tried it yesterday, ... such a great lense, wow.. I want it .. but beside I need to save money, .. so I wait for an opportunity (there's one on ebay, ending tomorrow .. looks like a good chance for me haha) ... and of course I gonna sell my 70-300 and the 18-125 as told you last time .. the guy who tried them out will take them for sure, just need to talk to his boss if he's doin the photo-job in future or not, .. if not he won't take them, .. ok no problem - have several people waiting for the lenses haha.

Already buyed a poker set on ebay - a nice suitcase with 500 chips and some more stuff, .. will get it until monday I think - so looks like a little poker evening next week. Tomorrow we're goin to bowling center .. =geek7 and me joining the girls-army haha .. my friend Conny, ~Kirimaus and a some colleague of Conny. (maybe someone else coming too, we'll see .. right ~zero- hehe??)

Most terrible thing yesterday: Got some info that my photo dealer here in town will close it's shop. Looks like they gonna stop business until end of the month .. too bad, .. no really good shop in town now and of course no service and support .. so need to find some solution for this problem (ok it's not the most important thing on earth, but it's not very good for us)

Best of the rest:
- don't have my car until tomorrow afternoon, .. it's getting some paint correction (scratches, ...) at a paintshop, .. as a favor for some work my dad did these days, .. nice hehe

- need to talk to some guy at university so heading there with dad's car in afternoon (haha .. ok I like my car way more haha)

- dvd collection reached 170 .. "lucky number slevin" found it's way to my shelf last week

Hi everyone!

Last week was pretty good, everything went good and so I did well with my presentations on corporate culture and business topics at university. Friday evening's birthday party for my grandpa .. it was really great, .. about 55 people coming there and we celebrated his 70th year until two in the morning, came home and went to bed at around 3 i think .. next day was pretty lazy and tired .. just relaxed. Sunday I started to write my first paper for the english courses, .. finished with the second one yesterday .. so I did some 20 pages in total (both papers together) in 3 or 4 days .. it was ok .. now waiting for my marks.

Texas Hold'em Tournament was great fun, both days a nice thing. First tournament on thursday was my first live play, .. never played in real .. just on my computer or in the net, but live is much more fun and I loved it from the beginning on. I was pretty good at the start, but fell down a bit. So I had to go "all in" twice, but both times had a bit of luck and stayed in the play .. they had 5 tables with each 8 players on it. Unfortunately I went out at 4th of my table but in total as all other tables were finished before I was 19th of 48 participants, just not made it to the next round of 18, where they had 3x6 tables .. later on the final table again with 6, a good friend of mine made it through and became 2nd on that day .. he won 100 euro in golden casino chips .. and play finished at 3.15 AM .. I was lucky about my loss at 10.30 PM haha. So my thoughts on first day: I had a very strong table, good players there .. for my first live action .. that's ok for me as I had a good hand when I lost, just luck for my oppenent (had a pair of jacks and tens, he got a pair of jacks and queens .. haha .. and I went all in with some 9,000 on the flop or turn, can't remember) .. top chip count at mine was about 12,000 .. 10,000 was start for each on the table .. so I was down two times, already all in 2 times, stand up and both times had much luck on the river or before .. so I got in and even took 2 people from the table.

Second day was much better .. had a table with two rookies that went out very early, they had bad stuff and did some strange play. Remaining 5 + me, .. one was the "big guy" we thought .. only one in the whole room of 48 ppl wearing sunglasses haha... mr. cool, he was good at the start but lately lost all of his chips .. we were surprised cause he was called to be good player from a lot of other good ones I already knew. So 4 + me remaining, another one goin out with a loosy all in with nothing on his hands, too risky .. just one more to drop and I would be in the next round .. yeah. And yes .. I finally made it .. two of my opponents wanted a showdown .. I was lucky, normally as I was the small stack on the table with just 8,200 left .. against for example some chipleader with approx. 35,000 I think .. but they made it good for me, chip leader won the duel and so I made it trough to mid-round-table with my two very nice colleagues .. but I had to play strong at the start there, blinds already high and not much on my side .. had luck with one all in and no one goin with me .. next try some 15 minutes later was not so lucky, .. lost to a pair of fours (he had queen and four) when having a queen and a ten on my hand on the showdown, nothing came for me .. so I was out as first on that table, .. in total I was 16th of the tournament I'm happy with this!!! Great thing, had much fun .. stayed another 2 hours there and watched the tables until final table, was quite nice and I learned a lot from some good friends (of course I know not everything will be true as poker is some game of lie too haha) but it was ok, .. I left the place at around midnight when first one dropped out on final table and they remainend 5 players ... all very good, two from my table btw, so it was a good one for sure. Looking forward to my next tournament, which will be in march in the same place, .. but I hope to get some partners for a private play during the holidays now!

Hi everyone!

Last week was pretty good, everything went good and so I did well with my presentations on corporate culture and business topics at university. Friday evening's birthday party for my grandpa .. it was really great, .. about 55 people coming there and we celebrated his 70th year until two in the morning, came home and went to bed at around 3 i think .. next day was pretty lazy and tired .. just relaxed. Sunday I started to write my first paper for the english courses, .. finished with the second one yesterday .. so I did some 20 pages in total (both papers together) in 3 or 4 days .. it was ok .. now waiting for my marks.

Today I'm goin to a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament. I participate in this tournament today and again tomorrow in another round (they are separate from each other) .. btw it's presented by the university, better said the Austrian National Union of Students .. which is the general students' representative body in Austria. We all had to buy in with 10 Euros for each day, so 20 Euros for my try to win the final table haha .. would be nice and funny .. I think it is possible, but it's more like a fun evening event both days for me (of course 2nd day should be a bit easier maybe hm) we'll see .. winner takes 200 Euros, 2nd 100 and 3rd gets 50 Euro .. so in total 400 Euros would be maximum to win .. but both days 1st .. no never so wish me luck I survice the first table haha.

Btw .. semester at university already finished with yesterday evening, .. had my final course of the winter semester .. now waiting for summer semester to start, which will be in some 4 weeks .. .. one month holiday, uuuuhhhh .. what will I do? Make suggestions, .. photos are logical, but what else to do now?

been to a bowling arena in the city, some were bowling for the first time - most of us just had experience of one or two plays before, so it was really fun. (8 people came to the meeting)

Kirimaus, northwulf and geek7 are already making plans for the next official devmeet in february, which will take place on 24th of february and will include some photo action. Looking forward to it. (I heard of some model shooting, .. that's my thing .. something I want to do for a very long time but never did so far .. some other thing I heard was a factory tour, but I would prefer something different hehe)

Thanks once again for the nice wishes I got these days. My cold is getting better, but it's still here .. last two days were much better ..nearly cleared. Today: Some sort of a "comeback" for my cold, .. don't think you gonna catch me once more .. I hope to get better until friday now!

Today I have my first presentation of the week, have a make an english presentation on BASF company. It's about business, the management, shares and information on Board of Directors and shareholders - sometimes interesting, sometimes not .. this is with a partner so I don't have to do all alone. Wish me luck for the evening.

Friday is my second presentation, very similar this that one today ... but it's about corporate culture (same lecturer, english too) and we were allowed to choose our company this time. I took IKEA as mine, ... first thought was Ryanair or some austrian company but it was difficult to get some good information on those - so I changed it last weekend. This should be a bit easier and I'm happy with it hehe. Friday evening then we will have the big birthday party of my grandpa, .. he's becoming 70 .. some 60 people coming to a restaurant and we will have celebration there, with some photo show of mine, with funny accompanying text from my mum and aunt. This should last whole evening and some part of the night .. so saturday I will have a long sleep (whole friday is a bit stressful for me, but hey .. who cares haha).

This week so far: Started my works for the choir's website, doin the administration there .. made some changes on the header layout and information was added. I ordered some 1GB webspace with an .at domain for them, so to have enough space there (haha) .. as said, I'm the admin for all. Afterwards tried to relax and battle my cold, it got better as I stayed at home for some 4 days .. played a lot of poker (got WSOP 07 from a friend) as I have to train for a two days Texas Hold'em tournament at university (1st-2nd february) with I participate in . Yesterday first day goin out of the house again .. I felt better (maybe it wasn't good, but I don't think it was wrong) .. drove my grandma for the doctor, delivered some birthday related material to my aunt (scripts, etc.) and later went on to the shopping center alone. Bought a casual shirt and a polo shirt and 10 new DVDs .. I know, I said something about stopping this .. but it was a sale with some 4for3 packages .. so this was planed and not too expensive (first buy of DVDs this year, .. ok just had 1 or 2 cheap ones before) ... now again 1 or 2 months without any new! I swear [pictures of my reorganised shelf will follow, now having 169 DVDs in it]

Last but not least (I know it's a lot to read this time), I have to mention that I started first tries for a new website layout .. I will do this until march now. Already have some ideas, want to make a clear portfolio just for my photos (of course an updated site then) and some info on myself on one page .. not too much and maybe in b/w with some color in it (we'll see). Only thing I have to look for is a coder .. maybe someone from dA .. I need a good girl/guy who does this for me as I don't have any coding "skills"

I'm having a cold since some days .. it's not good to be ill. I hate this feeling of not being ok, some sort of sick feeling when your nose is running and you having a cough. It's the first time since early autumn I think. So cancelled the hockey game on sunday, .. won't be good for me to visit.

Had some quite nice time last game, included everything you want .. and second consecutive win of our team. Too bad they lost away at the league leader today's evening. Added lots of shots to my flickr account, which I'm just using for those huge amounts of pics from time to time .. normally I tend to upload here or on my webspace.

So anyways I'm a bit ill at the moment, I have to do two presentations at university the following week. One is on wednesday with some good friend of mine, talking about a big german company (BASF) and there business. The other one is on friday, have to talk about corporate culture of a company, but I'm not sure if I will choose Red Bull (was my first vote some weeks ago, but I don't get enough information about that), RyanAir, Starbucks or something different, maybe an austrian company from the region. Beside that have to write to papers with 5 and 10 pages (not much, but quite difficult in topics) and learn for two class exams.

Finally when weekend is near, we will celebrate my grandpa's 70th birthday with a big party on friday evening. There will be quite a lot of people .. party will be on a location near the lake, some honorable guests will come too (politicians, artists, ...), family and relatives, friends etc. .. will take photos there, maybe for the press too as he'll be awarded with something (I already know this) for his work. He's like 60, most people can't believe he's becoming 70 .. me too, especially as he's some sort of dad for me. So I'm waiting for friday .. should be a nice, long thing.

Second meeting was big fun too .. went bowling the week before christmas and had a pretty nice evening there. Now kirimaus, northwulf and geek7 are planing the next official devmeet in february, which will take place on 24th of february. Looking forward to it.

Went to my first hockey game this year last friday - was quite nice and first time in action with my new tele lens, the Canon 70-200mm L USM 4.0, which I told you of on latest entry here. =geek7 was with me as he had time too, so we both were standing side by side and did our shots for the press .. neverless these hockey shots are more like a hobby, not that important for my press-job I would say .. but I'm happy about it and the manager and the other guys from the hockey club are too

So I made a lot of shots, some 450 I think, .. chosen some for a set I uploaded on my flickr account yesterday .. so have a look if you're interested in it: [link]

Beside that I'm close to selling two of my lenses to some friend I know from hockey. He's goin to buy my 70-300 Tamron and maybe the 18-125 Sigma too .. will get his ok maybe today, .. if he's not goin to take them, I already have some people waiting like hungry wolves haha .. most of them from dA. By the way, .. I'm sorry but I had some problems on my watch list, .. had to re-add many of my watches as they somehow suddenly were removed by dA itself .. I did nothing on this, just many of the devmeet people were removed, .. so if you were added once again don't wonder about this

Now, in about 20 minutes, goin for the next hockey game .. some sort of underdog-duel this season .. last (8th) on the league against there mates from 7th place haha .. should be a funny clash on the ice .. hopefully get some good pics again - so have a nice evening!

Hey everyone!

Cancelled my plans about buying the Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 as my new tele lens today .. just because I already have another one haha. Look at this >>

Went to my photo store today and they had a used Canon EF 70-200mm 4.0 L USM in great shape there, perfectly just like a new one. The former owner used it just for some months and now bought a new lens - so this one was ready for sale .. and there I came . After some short testing around the building, went for some test shots up the near streets, I thought about 2 hours while waiting for =geek7 to arrive at the shop, .. had a lot of talk with my friends from the photo store and thought, and thought .. in the end after the two hours (when finally =geek7 also arrived haha) I was convinced. Of course I know that it could happen that I will punish myself for not waiting on a 2.8 as I always said I want that 2.8 too .. but it was a nice offer and good chance (of course a cheap one too .. ok not cheap lets say it was not too expensive in relation to normal prices) and if I get the chance to get a used 2.8 during the year, I could sell this one for sure .. normally no problem to find buyers for a Canon L lens

So went home for lunch and had some hours with work to do. After this I fixed a "photo date" with =geek7 in the city, .. met there at 3PM and walked around for some hours. Made a walk over the old and the new square, later went to our big shopping mall where =geek7 even made a pano in a shop, something you won't be able to do in the US or somewhere else, but here it is possible haha .. of course maybe not in every shop, but the let him do. Myself did some shots on the walk, maybe some to show (see below too) but nothing special so far .. it was a bit cloudy and I had to take high ISO and shutter was not perfect too. (maybe I hadn't the best day either ) ... but so far I'm happy with my new baby, so stay tuned for some new shots!

Will sell my Tamron 70-300mm and the Sigma 18-125mm now, already have some interested people and someone asked for testing it on weekend, so I will give both lenses to this guy .. it's very assured that he will buy them afterwards (95% in his own words) .. so I'm happy to sell them so quick, as I don't need them anymore (the Sigma was planed, the Tamron now after getting the Canon L is a bonus).



First test shots with my new Canon EF 70-200mm 4.0 L USM will be online very soon. Already have two that could make it to my gallery or scraps, more to come during the next days. Also goin to visit two hockey game on friday and sunday, so some hockey shots could be added too.

Back from the mountains
Well I made it to our house in the falkert region this weekend, went there on friday morning and returned yesterday afternoon. It was quite nice to get out of town for some time, leave the internet behind and just relax in fresh air, make some walks and have fun with family. Not so much snow this year, .. compared to pics from last year's visit (same date haha) it's awesome, just crazy .. we had tons of snow (as high as the house) and had to dig snow every day .. this year it's clear, sunny but anyways it was great .. I want to have more sun the next days - I like this and my little "winter depression" which came from fog and clouds the last weeks is gone for the moment (hopefully for the rest of the winter haha)

Beside this I was lucky and sold my ski holiday I won on that lottery before christmas (told you on some journal three weeks ago I think). It was a ski holiday including everything you want, ski tickets and new skies for a whole family .. value of the price is 4500 Euro (approx. 5900 US Dollar). I tried to sell it and finally this weekend some neighbours in the mountains took it for some friends of them. So I will get 1500 Euro (2000 US Dollar) for this price, that's ok for me .. of course it was clear that I wont get more than 2000 Euro, but 1500 is really great (hey some weeks ago I was dreaming of such a gain haha). So it's possible that I could buy some new lens soon .. and my dream of the new 70-200mm is now very near too! (but I want some used one if possible, so I can save more money)



Made a lot of pics on this short trip to the mountains, but most of them are just normal shots from nature. Snow is missing a lot in the alps, so the conditions were really nice for walks, .. not so difficult to reach some points haha. The mountains cover enough snow and skiing is possible too .. but in total I know that region so well already and took photos there every year, so not many new things for me to show, just want to bring you some impressions by uploading shots to my scraps .. you will see it's winter, but on many places (like in front of our house) the snow is melting and more earth and gras is looking outside haha.

Happy New Year to all of you!
The year started quite boring but it looks like it will be a good one. At the moment I'm still at home, didn't made the mountains so far as weather is not so good up there .. I would be sitting in the house and when I'm goin there I want to go outside

Went to the doctor this morning again .. got results from last week, .. I'm ok but need to do some more sports, .. so first thing I wanna do in 2007 is a 30 minutes training on my hometrainer (that's what doc told me too) and will do this! so I can make the second thing I want to make in 2007 .. which is loose some weight again, .. would be nice to leave some 20 pounds on the hometrainer haha. (or more? lets see) .. but this needs time of course. At the moment I have some sort of little cold, .. need to take some pills for the next three days and hold myself warm .. of course want to go outside too, but today I stayed most time in my flat .. watching three episodes of stargate sg1 (btw need to buy seasons 6 & 7 during the next months haha) and doing my 30 minutes drive on the trainer. Tomorrow maybe some darts play with ~zero- and/or pool billard with =geek7 .. I don't know so far .. also heard of the cool silvester party at ~Kirimaus and got more and more interested in that singstar game for ps2, unlucky I don't have the ps2 or the game .. so I hope to get some chance to play it anywhere else.. could be funny.

Plans for 2007 (idea stolen from =Beachdair haha .. sorry mate):

- more training and loose weight (see above)
- take more photos
- buy the sigma 70-200mm f2.8
- buy less dvds and save much money
- improve bowling skills
- play more pool billard again
- find some job
- don't sit in front of my computer so often
- find a girlfriend
- visit vienna once or twice (of course this time not in summer haha) and meet =Beachdair and other friends
- make a trip somewhere else if there's enough money and freetime (depends on study/job)
- clear my message center .. now 350 deviations in it and still not commented sorry!

BOWLING
Had our Deviantart Bowling Evening last week. Was quite fun! Met ~black-Syla ~Gothic-Nyu ~Kirimaus =geek7 ~Schwachmaath and ~zero- there. In total we were 8 people (black-syla's friend was with us) and 6 of us were playing. Best of the day was ~Schwachmaath who's already some sort of "semi-pro" haha .. good performance there .. the opposite of mine as I was sooo loosy that day .. great play of the others .. so had a nice meeting there. Last day of 2006 .. a new year is waiting .. 2007 now coming in approx. 12 3/4 hours haha .. . Will visit my aunt and her family today, afterwards should be at home maybe a walk into the city before .. we'll see.

Tomorrow, 1st January .. plans say I will head for our house in the mountains. Want to visit my grands, already there for some days, with my mum .. and should stay for some 2 or 3 days. All depends on weather as forecasts say it could snow tomorrow and when snow is too much, I won't drive into mountains. So if can go there and stay for some days .. hopefully =geek7 is coming for a visit the next days too .. that visit is planed since 2 years I think haha.

Christmas was quite fine, got some nice presents from family .. so I'm fine with this haha. Christmas Holidays are over, normal life comes back to town .. the days were really boring I would say .. nothing special to do, just sitting around, watching tv and boring stuff .. I don't like that .. but weather was too bad (or still is) ... foggy, grey .. why is our city such a grey place in those months around christmas .. but hey .. see the bright side of life and take your brain to make something out of those situations. So next thing to do is bowling with some deviants on tomorrow afternoon. Because of that, next part of this journal is in german.

BOWLING
Wie bereits besprochen wollen wir morgen zum Bowling gehen. Normal würd ich ja sagen jeder ist willkommen, aber beim Bowling sind zuviele Leute sicher nicht so ideal .. aber wenn jemand nicht spielen will und sich daher sagt "ich kann ja so mitkommen" ist er/sie auch gern gesehen .. so wie es inzwischen aussieht werden wir aber ca. 7-8 leute sein. Wir treffen uns auf jeden Fall morgen, 28. Dezember, um 15:30 Uhr beim Eingang der Cinecity in Klagenfurt (hinterer Eingang am Hauptparkplatz) - denke das kennt eh jeder aus der Gegend. Wir gehen dann gemeinsam rein und werden uns wohl auf 2 nebeneinanderliegende Bahnen verteilen, je nachdem wieviele Leute spielen wollen oder nur so mitkommen möchten. DevMeet Klagenfurt - Carinthia - Austria
1st Klagenfurt DevMeet on 9th of December was a great thing. Met the following deviants there: ~Kirimaus, ~black-Syla, ~Askhari, ~Gothic-Nyu, ~northwulf, ~Schwachmaath, ~0v3n and of course my three friends =geek7, ~zero- and last but not least =Beachdair, our guest from Vienna. Some others at the meeting are not registered here but I think in total we were 13 people at the beginning, .. finishing with 5 people in the irish pub at 11 pm. Next big devmeet maybe in february .. we'll see.

Stories of the week before christmas
Got the vouchers for the ski-holidays and all other things, .. great price really (told you of on last journal, .. have a look for more info on my win in the x-mas lottery of austrian television. Yesterday I got paid for some photos in a fashion magazine so my christmas pre-feeling is pretty good celebrated & enjoyed that days of winning and nice events very much haha. Now gonna sell my price (already told you of this) and hopefully soon find someone who's interested in it .. will give it away for the half value .. so it would be enough to save some money and with the rest buy my dream-lens, a new tele with 70-200mm and f2.8.

Tomorrow celebrating christmas with family, already decorated the tree with my mum and everything is ready. Looks like a nice and green thing this year .. no snow outside, the only thing that's missing I would say. So have a nice christmas everyone .. I wish you all the best!

Bowling again - deviant bowling evening
Now having holidays and all other deviants from our devmeet last time should be finished with school too (as we have friday tomorrow) we should be ready for our "dA bowling evening" next week. Already thought about the date to go for that, .. now I'm thinking of Thursday, 28th of Dec., for this. I hope all of you, that already have shown interested on our plan to go for some bowling together, will have time on that day .. if it's not possible for most of you we could find another day. For the moment this is my proposal to you .. it's a bit cheaper when we go from monday to thursday and it's cheaper too when we go between 2 and 6 PM so we might make it a bowling afternoon instead an evening .. so please inform me (also possible on icq).



No hockey last tuesday, unfortunately geek7 had to cancel our visit there as he had to give his press jacket (which he needs for job) to some colleague who had to go there. So I wasn't interested in visiting alone this time and stayed at home too. So I'm sorry but I don't have any new photos for you. Next try: 26th (maybe, not sure)

I won ...

I'm happy, .. it's like christmas, easter, birthday .. everything together haha.
The carinthian part of austrian national TV, ORF, has it's own daily news show at 7PM and they have a christmas lottery every year. You can send in cards or buy some to donate money to social projects. Now comes the big thing why I'm happy: Yesterday I won on that christmas lottery

I won a one-week ski-holiday for two adults and two children in a luxury hotel here in carinthia, including full board and ski-tickets for the whole week and finally brand new skies for all. All in all the price has a value of 4,500 euro .. wow, great.

Bad thing winning that price is, that I don't ski since my knee luxation in 1998 and no one beside my grandpa is doin this sport in my family anymore .. so a great thing, but maybe difficult to find someone to make the holiday haha. Of course I don't have a wife and two children .. so I'm thinking about how this will work [I hope it's possible to donate the holiday to some relatives or friends and maybe I get some part of the value from them instead, .. of course not the whole thing .. that wouldn't be nice and ok] First I'm goin to get my price (maybe some official handing over, .. I don't know). So for the moment I'm happy .. never won such a big or valuable price.

UPDATE 22nd Dec.: Got my vouchers for the ski-holidays and all other things, .. great price really Beside that my day was perfect .. got a phone call from my press-job-boss and he informed me that the money for my pics, which I made for a fashion-magazine some weeks ago, arrived today. 220 euros for 8 pics ... not bad .. happy christmas to me haha.

GONE BOWLING

Today we (=geek7, ~zero- and my friend Conny) went to the big new bowling arena in our city to have our first game there. First time for all of us doin the bowling thing haha .. never played it before, of course there was no bowling hall in town so far. Nice beside .. it started to snow in the afternoon, first snow in town this year .. but it was more "snow rain" I would say haha. So drove down the road (it's close to my place) to the local Cinema Center, .. the Bowling Arena is part of this. They have some 20 lanes and offer some nice things too (party & family bowling on weekends, disco bowling and many more stuff) .. like special price for students what I like haha.

So to come to the play .. it was a really nice afternoon and we had a lot of fun .. played 4 rounds .. so everyone 4x10 plays with 2 throws each play, .. made 80 throws (without the bonuses you get for strikes or spares on the last throw) in total for everyone. After all our fingers and some parts of the hands were a bit strange haha .. Conny said we will see tomorrow how "healthy" this bowling session was. For the first time bowling it was ok, .. we had some terrible throws with double zero's .. no points on the scoreboard, but also everyone had some strikes and spares .. making all 10 pins fall So I like this sport and I hope we can do it again very soon .. next time should be a devmeet there .. already asked for it on last journal entry and some people will come .. so maybe a game on 2 lanes with 8 people (looks like this).

(to explain .. the Top "M" stands for Michael (that's me), following "C" from Conny and the "M" of Markus (geek7) and "M" of Martin (zero-) .. so you see in total it looks like ~zero- won the thing .. I made the third and last round with some nice shots too. (he won first round and I think it was Conny who won second round).

Tomorrow morning I will have a little city tour again, .. making final shopping for this year's christmas. Have to get some "fun presents" for family as I tend to make jokes on the christmas eve, giving some little things to them .. just like last year an "emergency package" to my mum .. including crackers, chocolate and a pillow as she tends to fall asleep in front in TV haha. So stay tuned, maybe will tell you what comes this year. Today finished my own "DVD Shopping" for this year .. now my collection reached a number of 151 DVDs (without the stuff from magazines .. with it there should be around 165 I think) .. too much money spent on it this year, .. won't buy too many next year, ... just new stuff from time to time as I had a lot of older stuff this year which I wanted to have in collection. New pics to come too!
