Well, nothing interesting to say. It seems like being taged is the new fun thing around here in D.A. I was never into those things or "funny chains" but since I was taged by my dear friend I thought it would be nice to answer his quest.

Anyway, I don't know if I should ask for photopasses to the Helloween gig. I'm really not into power metal and screaming guys with their hair blowing on the wind. What I would like to see is Kreator.

Ah! A good band from Sweden nowadays is Satariel. Really cool death with black elements!! No Gothemburg sound at all. Another good cd that you should check out is Municipal Waste. It was MANY years ago since I listened a true raw thrash band like that. Undeniable influences from D.R.I, and D.R.I makes me happy.

So... hmm... 20 (or less) useless things about me:
1- Despites the fact that I am brasilian, I don't drink coffee. I love coffee flavor but I hate to drink the real thing.
2- I speak 4 languages fluently: portuguese (of course), spanish, english and swedish. I understand norwegian, italian and a little french. My dream is to speak japanese.
3- I read alot. I'm a freaking nerd that loves to analise the psychologic behavior of book characters.
4- I have more than 400 dvds and over 600 cds.
5- I am a "political incorrect" person. My humor is sarcastic and I am cinic as freaking hell. Because of it nobody takes me for real, they are all time laughing at me.
6- My mom used to pray to me become normal and not a headbanger. No saint could avoid my doomed destiny.
7- I'm addicted to Law & Order.
8- I like to paint until my hands are bleeding.
9- I think James Hetfield is a genious. Seriously. Old school Metallica is based on diferent kinds of literature. Through them I learn english by myself, red Hemingway, Lovecraft, Wilde, Poe and Blake. "The Call of Chutuhlluh" is Metallica's best song and the ones who had the pleasure to read the book agree with me.
10- I'm sleepwalker.
11- My dear best friend died when we were 20 years old. Every single day I think on her. Every single day I miss her. Almost ten years ago...

Logh, Jesu and Isis:

Yesterday I went to see Isis in Gothemburg, in a small, small, smalllllll place. I didn't try to get any photopass this time.... I was lazy. Anyway, I was there at 10pm and it looked like many people was coming to check them out. The stage was upstairs and I was chocked when I noticed that in a 100m2 room was already around 200 people. Twenty minutes after it was sold out and the temperature there was above 30C.

Logh: I didn't see.
Jesu: I didn't like. I didn't even try to take some pics. They are good musicians, ok... not my style. But if you like a heavy, slow, trip journey with almost no vocals, I think you would like them.
Isis: Cool, reaaallly cool!! 2 whole hours of heavy stuffs!! They are crazy!! All that pedals around, and banging like hell.... and they really enjoy what they do! The place was burning down, shaking with their music. Everybody was jumping and enjoying... and sweating. Isis was a really tricky band to take pics. The place was so dark that even that I was 2 steps from the stage I barelly could see their faces. And I hate to use flash on live shots.... it takes out all the feelings from the moment. So I had to stand there and wait for some light.... Even thou from 260pics I saved 10... and here are the best 7.

S.o.B:
...And there was a ridiculous S.o.B almost in front of me. The guy was shorter than me, with a Dumb and Dumber hairdo and a 12 years old mustach. Fab 5 911!!Pure white trash. The guy was really boring. He kept brushing his butt on me.... I mean: really rubbing it!! Dancing like a flamingo wanting to breed.... and stepping nonstop on my feet. At this point I've got pissed and started to say bad things in portuguese. His ass was allover me!! Then I said in swedish to him stop to step on me. For some time he disappeared, but then he came back. And he did everything that he could do to try to make me loose my pics.... He put his hand in front of my lenses, he push me and he kept brushing his butt on me. If it would be in Brazil, I could break him down in 2 pieces and nobody would say nothing.... But I live in Sweden and the best that I could do was to ignore him. He should sell his The Monkeys lunchbox and get some male hore.

Nothing in life is garanteed. Unfortunetelly the promoters from Morbid Angel were kind of messy and even that my photopass was confirmed 10 days before, who said that my name was in the list?

Anyway the place was small and since it is a hollyday, it wasn't so packed up.... maybe 600 people and no more. So I had to improvise and take my pics from the middle of all taller and tallest vikings banging in the crowd. It is pretty hard when you are just 1,66m.....

So these pics aren't the best I've taken, and to make my day my camera failed many times! In the end they are a little blury

About the bands....

Arise: I am so tired about this Gothemburg style, I can't even tell. I didn't like them, even that they did a bit of success among everybody there. Predictable vocals and guitar lines... and I can be wrong but sometimes I felt a little influence of new metal

HateSphere: Really good band from Danmark. They do a modern thrash metal but they are really powerful on stage and their songs are fast and furious They were a good surprise for me, since I was waiting a skatemetalband. I think I would pay to see them next time

Morbid Angel: We will dominate. Oh yeah, what a killer band. It is absolutelly amazing to be able to watch an old school deathmetal band.... Deathmetal bands today are too melodic in my opinion... they should find their roots in bands like M.A. They are too cool. David Vincent is evil..... His tshirt was too tight...

Yesterday one of the icons of the metal scene died. Diamond Darrel, ex Pantera, was shot and killed by some crazy guy crying that Darrel was responsable for Pantera's split out.

Soon some religious group will start to say that it was because of heavy metal music. Or even worst, they will start to say with a morbid satisfaction "see? I told you so!" as a human life isn't more than a number.

Sad time to everybody..... Crazy people are found everywhere.... It is not the music he likes that defines if he is psycho.

And then come some people who doesn´t have nothing else to do, with absolut no reason to attack, be mean and less than friendly. And the worst is to come saying and "doing constructive advice" when the person itself can´t do anything cool.

Well, here I see lots of people who do better work than I and, the same time, that I have better tecnic than others. It doesn´t make my work or their work worst because this is not a competition. But sometimes, even when the tecnic isn´t so good, you see talent on it. And there is people without tecnic and without talent who wanna be "cool, cult and hype" but in the end the result is the same as a white piece of paper. Exactly like their own mind.

Tecnic you learn.... talent you born with. Good taste is something that is not present in everybody´s life.
