What a terrifying thought! Im basically a grown up now! AHHHH! The world awaits me, yet I fear to go out into it. Am I going to do well? Or will I fail? Time will only tell.

Yeah, so yesterday is officially the saturday of doom. Prolly one of the worst days I've had in a while. It started out with me losing vision in one eye and half in the other, and that progressing into my first migraine. Yeah, not fun because it lasted pretty much all day. It honestly felt like someone decided to take a railroad spike and stab it repeatedly into my left frontal lobe. Not too much fun...Then, about an hour into my migraine, my mom comes and gives me a cool compress and says: "Did you hear me tell your father that Mummi (grandma) is in the hospital?" ...WONDERFUL! My grandma is honestly the coolest old babe ever! She thinks that the only two words of the english language worth knowing are "Chocolate" and "Ice Cream". I guess her arm swelled up and started to hurt really bad, and when she got into the hospital, they said that the infection levels in her blood are sky high...So I'm really worried and upset--I hope she gets better... After that news, I spent most of the day trying to get rid of the pounding in my head. At about 4 in the afternoon it started pouring outside. My mom yelled down the stairs at me to get a bucket. I was confused, so I grabbed the aquarium bucket and ran up the stairs--despite my muscles screaming at me for doing so (...damn weight training). Turns out we have a leak in the roof. If my dad can't fix it himself, then we wont have enough money to fix it--and a leak in the roof is nothing that you can just leave... So yeah, add on that stress to an already stressed out teenager... Its like trying to spread too little butter over too much bread--it doesn't work.... So I've basically had enough of everything, so I head off to petsmart to make myself feel better. I bought two more fish because they're a stress reliever. Honestly! If you sit and just watch them swim around all carefree, it makes you feel better. So I got a catfish and a goldfish. I got home, put them in the tank and got them used to chemical levels and the difference in temperature. When I released them, the smaller angelfish went beserk. It started picking on the goldfish--who didn't take the harassment from it, so after that, the angel left the goldfish alone. But then, the angelfish turned on the other angelfish. The big angelfish's fins are in shreds because the little one kept pestering it. I almost lost the big one because it was getting really stressed out. I had to do something with the little one...So now I'm down an angelfish and up a goldfish and a catfish. I checked this morning, and everyone looks happy. Today should be better--I'm goin out to dinner with Kris, Lisa, and Julie and I'm getting a buncha expensive clothes for free because a nice lady at the Board of Realtors was gonna throw out her nice suits. This'll be great for college interviews.

Well, I'm into the second week of my senior year... Settling in is going quicker than expected--which isnt a bad thing. The whole homework thing is screwing us IBers over as usual, but hey, we've learned to take it up the butt with dignity. I had a craptastic weekend, huge fight with the female parental and I was stuck at home all weekend doing absolutely nothing. Hopefully next weekend will be better because it's a long one (WOOHOO!). It was interesting, I got a package in the mail today...Turns out I'm now a member of The National Society of High School Scholars...Spiffy. I'm gonna buy a hat and a chord to go on my gown for graduation. So I'll have an IB chord as well as a NSHSS chord. I'm excited. I went online and found out top Psych schools and applied for applications. So in three weeks I should be ripping my hair out... College applications are long and boring. You have to fill in the same stuff for each one--which can be a tad tedious at times. I feel sorry for my teachers, I'm going to bombard them with letters of recommendation, ick. I also feel bad for the counslers because they have to deal with tons of us Seniors whining about the same stuff. Stressful job. They don't get enough credit. Wow, now i'm just rambling. Well, it's a bit late and Thanks to TOK it's gonna be a late evening for homework. Frustration and anxiety levels are running high, so sleep doesn't seem to be an option. Wonderful... Excuse me while I sulk.

...School started... Depressing, no? I found out today that there are 279 days left until graduation... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!Homecoming is a month from this weekend--SO EARLY! I'm looking forward to the football game because it's a great time to de-stress, and its fun to socialize. I've already been given oodles of h/w, and I suppose I should be off doing that then...I don't really wanna, but I gotta... Hate it when that happens--lol. I've decided that I REALLY need to get a digital camera of some kind. Coming home from TOK monday night, I saw a gorgeous rainbow--and just my luck, didn't have a camera--BAH! I need to find an inexpensive one though--good luck! lol....I've also made a list of all the movies I wanna see, and well, I need a job if i'm gonna pay for all of 'em...I wanna see: "Open Range" "Matchstick Men" "The Order" "Brother Bear" "Master & Commander: The far side of the world" "Radio" "The Haunted Mansion" "Stuck on you" and OF COURSE "Lord of the Rings--Return of the king"--that one's a given. lol. If I go to all those movies, that's about $58.50 worth of movies---I REALLY need a job...lol...Well, off to homework I go!

...Yeah, So I went to the IB social today. Amazingly enough, I threw a frisbee around without breaking anything! I was surprised...lol...Usually I hit someone, or a car/whatnot, but I guess it didn't happen this time because we were in the middle of a big field/park thing. Not too many people there...buncha IBers were at this Champ Camp thing for kids with asthma, so I'll have to wait till Mon. to see them. AHHHH! SCHOOL STARTS MONDAY! Im a senior--I graduate in less than a year, and frankly, I'm scared to death.
