I've noticed something as well, around here at least. The costumes are very lacking this year, all i see are the super skimpy costumes for girls and thats it, what happened to the freaky scary masks and gorry stuff? I mean no complaint on super skimpy girl costumes but XD
It seems to ME that each year is just less and less how I remember halloween being the previous year, maybe it's actually the times or maybe it's just me and that little childhood spirit fading more and more, who knows. I would hope its not the latter.

My answer...

The change from Greek Archaic to classical happened as a reflection of a more dominant Greek culture. They started distancing themselves from Egyptian traditions and customs and started creating their own. The different movements from popular figures like Socrates and Alexander the Great. It was a time when Greece was dominating and felt proud and secure. They were at ease to see the beauty around them. Since the era of mostly fighting and death had slowed down, soldiers and uniformity went down. They wanted to expand their knowledge on perfection of beauty.

The differences from the Peplos Kore from the Archaic age to the Aphrodite of the late classical age are great. The Peplos Kore stands boxy and rigid. It still borrows artistic ideas from the Egyptians. She has a garment that hides most of her figure; there are many stylized patterns on the figure. It tries to break free from the orientalizing era by having slightly flowing hair and a smile on her face. The anatomy is still hidden and the figure seems more like a representation of a generic woman.

The Aphrodite’s figure is completely the opposite, being in the late classical era. She is nude which is a big statement. She is an image of perfection of beauty and an actual representation of a god, an individual. She is modeled in an everyday act as if a snapshot from her life. She is also turned away from the viewer being more modest in the fact that the statue is not seeking attention by posing boldly; instead it captures attention through its perfection of beauty and sensuality.
The figure embraces the female form and curves and stands in contrapposto unlike the Peplos Kore.
I can’t say if Praxiatles created some of the most sophisticated sculptures of his time, they are most definitely impressive. I will say they are some of the best and most memorable of the era. But I am somewhat unfamiliar with his contemporaries and I’m sure there were many other great artists of the time that would give him a run for his money so to say.

The problem is well, I smashed a finger on my front door on accident the other day, and the other fingers i got this lil rash that like.. well its gone now but the top most layer of skin is dead so like its down to raw new skin which is veddy painful yes ouchies do not want to use fingers plz. In other news theres not much other news. It's been like over 100 degrees everyday most of the day the past couple weeks and of course will remain that way the next.. forever? Also taking care of the house by myself is hard, well it wouldnt be if i was actually by myself, I can be organized and tidey if I know in the long run it will let me be more lazy. Stupid space shuttle woke me up yesterday at 8:30 am all *boooooooooom* hi earth i'm hooome.

Theres a little green LED light on my speaker that doesnt turn off, after about 2o minutes after turning off the computer it turns orange. I didnt know green was so much brighter than orange. I mean like the amount of light produced. Why did I mention that? I'm not sure.

The game Team Fortress 2 is pissing me off cause I havent gotten any of the sniper items yet.. WTF. Random item drops = LOSE. I just lost everyone huh? Oh well..

Star Trek was a good movie, go watch it. You know.. if ya havent already....

What if the colonists remained compliant. England Appeased them in whatever way worked for the sake of changing history in this thought.
What would a world with that change in history be like now? Would a break for independance still occur regardless of fair conditions?

Would we here in America be drinking tea and crumpets? XD
But yea.. it just made me wonder. Say America remained loyal to England what world events would have played differently?
Imagine a sep 11 that didnt attack the United States.. but an even greater Great Britain! I dont know. I must be bored.

Do NOT try to make your own pasta sauce out of random things in the fridge

So um.. i mixed a buncha stuff in a pan cause i had some spagetti but no sauce so i said.. meh, ill make my own white pasta sauce myself, cant be THAT hard XD BAD IDEA NO NO NO, Do NOT DO

You need milk of course.. some milk and butter! nice n melted. Put some water to keep it boiling.. ok how bout some garlic! good idea, it goes well with pasta XD Toss in some Italian dressing in there, it has the name ITALIAN in it, you cant go WRONG. It needs thickness.. whats this powdery stuff.. corn starch? ok that looks good! XD
If you havent realized by now this is a massive failure in the works.
Oh you know it needs sometthing to hold onto the sauce.. crumbled toasted bread! yes! and.. cheese.. cheese is always good. ok! throw in the pasta and mix XD
