-I saw alot of stuff...like the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independance.
-I stood where Martin Luther King Jr. stood when he made his 'I Have a Dream' speech....the feeling was amazing.
-I cried at the Vietnam Memorial and left something behind for those to read and found a relative's name
-I cried at the WWII Memorial...it was so overwhelming all those stars (422) that represented the 422,000 American soldiers who died
-I cried at the Holocaust Museum, all those people died, and my family was some of them
-I laughed at the Oragutang eating it's own puke at the Zoo and at the video Mr. Myers took of the Hippo that 'exploded'
-I laughed my brains out at Shear Madness...the most funniest play ever 'Take me now!" hehe
-I got a tour of the White House, which was extremly boring
-I got scolded by a Secret Service which was awsome!
-I ate lots of good food
-I slept 8 hours out of the 10 hour drive home
-I saw awsome pictures/sculptures/paintings/videos at the Hirrshorn and National Gallery of Art


So yeah...that wasn't all of it...just some

-2 days until the summer!!!! w00t!!!

At graduation I cried....I think I am the only one who did and it was only when I got an award and the teacher said all this stuff....still I cried ='(
Other wise graduation was awsome...our graduation song was 'Freebird'...we did....an interseting job on it, but hey we only practiced it twice.

THE BASICS: Write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Last night we had our soccer party. We got trophies and pictures and stuff from the season. It was fun.

After the show I am getting my haircut. Should I:

I missed Principal's List by 3 points, fucking Science. So yeah...I am on Honor Roll because I got a 87 in science. Well mainly because our Science teacher gave me a bad report on our Lab Report....78...for no reason. She didn't tell me what was wrong or anything. She just gave it back and said,"I was very upset with this and I am giving you a chance to make it up." So that night I am up till 11 re-writing my entire Lab Report, and it turns out the highest I could get was an 85, which I got, but she didn't tell us that. I wanted to strangle her.
So then we have this thing called a B.O.P. and she says it will go on the 1ST MARKING PERIOD. We get into class and do the B.O.P.s and she puts them on the 2ND MARKING PERIOD. And for some of us those few points could make a HUGE difference, a passing/failing diffrence or a Honor Roll/Pricipal's List difference.
So here I am venting my anger about my grades, thanks for listening.

On a happier note there is officaialy a new girl in the 8th grade. This is a rare occasion for Barstow's 8th grade. The guys in 7th and the 8th were going crazy over her, including my boyfriend (we are going to have a talk), and alot of the 7th grade girls hate her. She is really nice though, and we get along well. Friday Caroline, Kristie, and I invited her to the movies with us to kind of celebrate report cards. It was fun.

Friday came with us to Wing's Castle and we were up really late. The next day we had a 3 1/2 hour drive home and I had to go straight to a soccer game, and ended up having to play for the boys.

Saturday we won our soccer game 4-0. In the boys game we lost 3-1 I think.

Monday we had our last soccer game. Which we won 4-0 again. They charged alot and thankfully got called for it, cuz my butt hurts really bad. One girl ruined my ankle, it's like twice its regular size and I can barely walk on it.

Our next game against Rutland Middle School 8th grade, we also lost. Before I say the score you need to know that their team hasn't lost a game since the begining of last year. Okay it was 4-0. Sad I know.
I wasn't playing well because my stomach was f**ked up. So after I scored a goal for the other team I had to sit out the rest of the game. I was shaking really bad and stuff. When the game was over people were staring at me because they thought I was upset because we lost.

Today's game was AWSOME. We had to play Co-ed because the other team only had enough players for 1 co-ed team. So we each only got to play like....20 minutes. This kid he kept tripping, elbowing, pushing, kicking, and even tried to headbutt me and our other players. The refs were not calling good calls. One girl put her hand up and the ball hit it and they didn't call a hand ball. AND they didn't call almost any of the fouls that kid made. I know this is bad sportsman ship but when we were shaking hands a few of us said f**k you or screw you (depending on themselves) to that kid. It was really funny .My stomach still was messed up but not as bad so I played better.

The first game we won 2-0 and the second it was 4-1.
In the 1st game I almost scored the 1st goal of the season, but I didn't....
After the game our goalie, Caroline, played for the boys team. So boy head-butted her in the face and broke her nose. So she is out for a few weeks. And we had to play without her for the 2nd game but WE STILL WON!!!! IN YOUR FACE RUTLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL AND RUTLAND TOWN!!!!!

Yesterday (saturday) I went to the fair with a bunch of friends. Kristie threw-up, after going on the Ring of Fire (THAT THING IS FLIPPIN' AWSOME!!!) 1001 Notches, and the Scrambler. She just finfished eating so...ya.
I almost went on the Zipper but then i started to pour so I couldn't. THAT IS THE ONLY RIDE WOULDN"T GO ON!!!!

We went and saw the animals and I really wanted to buy a bunny. I called my dad and asked "what would happen if I brought home a bunny?" And he said,"Don't" But he also sadi maybe I could get one next year!!!! ^_^
Every year I get a candy apple, so I was trying really hard to save my money for one and I barely managed but I did it! YUM!

Soccer has started and our 1st game is on the the 11th. I am Left Wing! OH YEAH!....but I'm not left footed...I've managed in the past.

So yeah thats about it right now....

Oh yeah! I painted a skateboard for 's little brother. It was a green dragon with blue fire. Hopefuly I will get a picture of it up soon.

Today was pretty AWSOME!!! We went to the Great Escape (a six flags place in lake george NY) and they had a new water ride called, Tornado. That thing is f**kin awsome! was screaming before we were even in the tunnel thingy to shoot us out into the funnel thingy.
You climb these flights of stairs till you are about 5 of 6 stories up (with these 4 person tubes to haul up with you) then you all get in the tube and you push off into a tunnel thing that shoots you into this HUGE thing that looks like a funnel. You go up and down the sides and get all wet the it spits you into a pool.

And of course me and went on ALL the roller costers, ecspecially the ones that go upside down and that sh*t. So we were scraeming our heads off just for fun (at least I was....) and now my throat is like dead.....

Yesterday there was a skate compition at Flip Side (the skatepark My dad runs) and Tyler Lynch (the one in the backflip picture, titled The Flip Side) won 100 bucks and the title King of the ramps. Go Tyler!

I've been trying to get to drop in on the mini on rollerblades. It is like her 2nd time EVER on roller blades so....um....
But she can drop in on the 3 footer ramp...but she can't stop....So we will see where this goes.....

So here are my 6 habits/things:

1) I guess this isn't wierd but I bite my nails and I can't stop! Can anyone help??? A friend told me not to bite my nails when they had nail polish on them because it was toxic. It worked for a little bit the I bit them anyways.

2) I LOVE TO READ! I've read really thick books in about 2-3 hours. But, lately I've been to busy to read alot so hopefully when school starts back up I will read more.

3) I'm not ashamed of getting good grades. So people are afraid of being called a geek or something, but at my school we brag about making Princelpl's List (however you spell that) or Honor Roll. If Only I made Princelpl's List more....stupid Math!

4) When I look at fire I space out. It's like i get hypnotized by the flames and the colors. It's only if i'm there though, like if I was watching a movie and there was a fire it doesn't happen.

5) I'm like obssesed with owls. Actually not as much as I was but still, I have alot of owl stuff and I draw alot of owls.

6) I HATE TOMATOES AND MAYO! They make me wanna barf! I won't even touch the mayo jar to get to something in the fridge, I'll just get something else or ask someone else to move it. I like salsa and ketchup and stuff with tomatoes in it but to by themselves or in a salad.


I guess that stuff isn't too weird....but I might post more when I think of them.

The first 10 is still going on so look at that journal.

And finally I am dropping the diffrent language for every journal thing. I may put a few languages here and there but it's DONE.

Let me see today is the Ethnic Festival and I have to go work the booth for the skatepark.

2 days ago at a friends party I fell on the pavement and cut up my leg pretty well. So it hurts to do anything.

Here is a story that might give a few laughs...it is true too:

One day my brother took the camera and went upstairs. When he came down he told my dad,"I took pictures of my balls, wanna see?" My dad started to laugh and said,"River you shouldn't take pictures of your balls," but he looked at the pictures. It turns out River lined up his basketball, baseball, bouncy balls, foam balls, and all his others and took a picture of each one.

I thought this story was funny when I heard it and something reminded me of it.


I finished the 7th Harry Potter book in less than 3 days, I would have finished it sooner if I had more time to read.
