hey guys! I just wanted to say sorry for the serious lack of updates! I have been super busy since AX and Comic-Con and have barely had any downtime to upload or update anything. I had an influx of work after the conventions, I was playing keyboard for a band, had some family medical issues going on. Seems like cancer is really spreading. When I was young it seemed like such a rare thing and now it seems people I know left and right have some form of cancer! And I'm talking about young healthy people with no family history or anything! It's been super crazy and very sad but hopefully things will look up soon.

Anyway, I promise when life settles down slightly, which will hopefully be in the near future, I will update again! I promise I will! I have some stuff I want to finish just have not had the time with work and stuff. But yea. I will try to be better about keeping up with this from now on.

I want to thank my friend Liana so so SOOOOOO much for all her help! She is so freakin amazing! Really.. if it was not for her I would not have this costume at all. Anyway. Hey everyone! I'm sorry its been awhile.. Since my last journal said "Happy Easter" I figured it was about time I updated. Anypants... I have been busy busy busy with work! All my deadlines with Josten's yearbooks are complete so that is a bit of a load off but now i have to focus on some flyers and brochures. Ohhh!! I also did some logo work for an AMAZING party company in Orange County called "If You Can Dream Parties" Look them up...if you have kids and live in the OC Area because they can really make all your child's dreams come true!!!

Finally really getting under way with Cosplay stuff too. You can check out my Giselle wig in progress in my gallery right now. Ignore my poopy makeup cause I literally put it on when I got it and took some quick pictures. Bleghh. hehehe. I will definitely keep updated more with how things are going and with some new work! TATA!

Hope everyone had a very happy Easter! I had a lot of people here and spent hours getting everything ready including, cupcake bites for my sister, nutella filled pastries, vegetarian lasagna, and pasta salad. Phhheeewww.. so much cooking. My sister came down from Fullerton with a bunch of college buddies of hers and they all seemed to have fun.

Anyway.. I have just recently gotten two new freelance gigs on top of the one I have already so I'm very happy to have a more steady flow of income and lots of work to do. But rest assured I will have lots to put up here cause it makes me more motivated. Hope you have enjoyed the random stuff I have put up so far.

Hey guys! I'm Just updating to let you know that I finally have a subscription! Yay! I decided to take the plunge and just get a year subscription so that I am more invested into keeping up with uploads and such. I have some new stuff coming so just hang in there I will be doing uploads.

Also I hope I will be able to show you some of the costume work I have been busy doing. I am very excited how everything is coming along!

As you can see I'm testing out some CSS stuff, hopefully I can get the hang of it all.

Costumes underway..
Some art work underway too I SWEAR!! IT'S COMING *dodges bullets* I have been busy with my actual job of yearbook design for Josten's so I haven't had a whole lot of free time as of late and most that I do have has gone to costumes.

Anyyywhoooooo! :dance: I'm so excited cause we are finally getting things moving on our costumes for Anime Expo and Comic-con! As some of you know I'm working on my Giselle costume! OMG YAY! annnnnnnndddd I will also be going with a huge avatar group so I will be Ty Lee as a Kyoshi Warrior oooooohhhh ahhhhh! *audience is wowed* lol or not.. but yea and for any OOBER nerds out there.. I will also be going as a Clavat from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I'm also going to possibly try and whip out a Fawn costume from the Disney Fairy world but we shall see. It's all about what we can get done!

But yea! Please let me know if you are going so we can meet up! Maybe exchange some arts lol! OOOORRRR come partake in my baked goods.. what what? Whats that you say? Baked goods? Oh yes.. I will have baked goods!

Just when the mourning was over and I was starting to accept the shows fate and wait with anticipation for the final episodes... BAM!!!

Some of you may already know this but episode 11 was supposed to air Wednesday night.. but did it? NO! According to Bryan Fuller it was pulled at the very last minute and even though ABC is contractually obligated to air the remaining episodes there is no telling when or IF they will air.

Way to piss on all the fans. Network TV just has yet to really grasp the concept of loyal viewers and cult audiences and their willingness to invest time and money into a program... for them its all about ratings.

So... unfortunately we may NEVER see the last episodes even after Bryan Fuller himself went back and reworked them all for the fans to have a good ending. We will have to wait till it comes out on DVD. Because to ABC why put something on air with low ratings when they can make a butt load of money on DVD sales by promoting the "never-aired episodes" Lets face it.. ABC has a history of doing that. It's very sad but lets hope they will keep their contractual obligation and air them!

Anyway.. Holidays are over.. Start of a New Year.. gonna have some new stuff up soon.. I got very behind because of the Holidays being so hectic (THEY CAME TOO FAST THIS YEAR)because I was baking non stop for friends.. and I had several deaths in the family that delayed things a bit.

Things are finally getting back on the right track. I'm focused.. I'm ready.. I'm back in business. Hey if anyone wants a commission let me know and I can see what I can do.

Anyway.. got tons of New Years Resolutions.. gotta get rid of holiday weight.. I always gain like 10 pounds after the holiday season that I gotta kick off.. but I didn't do too bad this year since as some of y'all know I am a Vegetarian. But yea...

In other news: Anime Expo and Comic-con goers will be excited to here I will be Cosplaying this year! *cheers and applause heard* yes.. it is very exciting.. and more exciting even.. I will be going as Giselle!! I have already begun my costume and everything.I will also be cosplaying a few other things sooooo let me know if you are going to either event and we can meet up! n_n

ABC has confirmed that Pushing Daisies has been...
CANCELLED!!!! *wails in despair* Good bye my sweet pie maker... I will miss you Ned..

Anyway.. so as we know there are 13 episodes in season 2 and after that its kaputs for the pushing daises crew. HOWEVER.... episode 13 is a cliffhanger and so they are in talks with DC Comics to continue the series as a comic AND there is even talks of a possible movie in the future.

It is so sad.. Pushing Daisies was such a unique show. You have never seen anything like it on TV and it's such a shame that they just couldn't get viewers back after the writer's strike. It's a shame to see such a creative, critically acclaimed, and overall enjoyable show have to go.

I recommend everyone go to ABC.com and watch a few of the full episodes there or even go to your rental store and see if they have season one for rent or buy it! You won't regret it.. I'm telling you.. in my opinion it was so refreshing to see something on TV that was so.. different... not just a run of the mill sitcom. The colors, the writing, the direction, the costumes, its so fantastic. Not to mention the incredibly talented Jim Dale, of Harry Potter Audio Book Fame, does such a wonderful job narrating.

I am very sad that my favorite show has been cancelled but, more then that I just want people to watch it and see what they missed out on, to see how great ideas are still possible out there as far as the small screen is concerned.

So please please please give the show a chance, it may be the end as far as ABC is concerned but Pushing Daisies is not dead yet we will see it resurrected in some other form later I'm sure of it. (heheh... get it.. dead.. resurrected.. harharhar... what? you don't get it.. oh it's cause you haven't bothered to watch it.. so WATCH IT so you can be in on my funniness...)

On a completely unrelated note:

I watched the Tinkerbell movie the other night and it's sooooooooo cute. Really it is... I really enjoyed it. You all should see it just for it's sugary disney goodness. ALSO.... Avatar fans will recognize the voice of Tinkerbell as KATARA from Avatar! hehehehe I was like "IT'S KATARA!!!!" and there was a part where Silvermist is trying to teach Tink how to be a water fairy and Tink of course... causes mass destruction of the awesome variety but I was like "You can do it Tink you're a waterbender!!!!" and I laughed at my superb joke... no one else did however.

Anypants, the BEST part is when Fawn tries to show Tink how to teach a baby bird how to fly... SEE IT! It's HILARIOUS!!

Okay enough gushing.. on another note.. WATCH PUSHING DAISIES Wed. 8pm on ABC it's such a super sweet and unique show and it's in danger of being canceled because of losing viewers to the writers' strike so WATCH IT. You won't regret it.. and Lee Pace is adorable like seriously... I love him. n____n.

Just in case you are still thinkin' twice about watching it... this will give you an idea bout how awesome sauce this show is:

Speaking of which I have been pretty busy what with the relations visiting me so I have yet to update some work.. but I promise it's coming! I have a random Victorian house I drew that I need to color and upload and of course... more enchanted stuff... lol lol come on who didn't guess that?

Any way so I figured I would finish this with some current obsessions. As some people know I'm pretty big on the health food thing and eating right... mainly veg. at the moment.. but I loves me some chicken so I has it every now and then... so here are my current fixations!

1. Dried Mangos: I LOVE them! I never even really liked mangos but my cousin Kelly got me super into the dried counterpart and now I am obsessed... a great snack food.

2. Okay... now this is NOT healthy but man do I crave it sometimes... DARK CHOCOLATE COVERED HONEY COMB from Henry's marketplace... you get it from the big old bins... I LUUUURRRVVVEE it... so yummy and delicious and crunchy and sweet...

3. Portobello mushrooms: I am on such a mushroom kick! I roasted a whole bunch and had one as a burger cause I don't like eating red meat... then the next day I sliced the left overs and tossed in a salad .... sooooooo good!

4. Non food related... walking! I am on a huge walking fix too! Coo and I (and sometimes Vu) walk 5 miles at least 3 times a week and will be doing the breast cancer walk very soon! n_n

5. ENCHANTED! This is nothing new... LMAO but still worth mentioning as I'm still obsessed... but I love to belt it out in my car along with the Wicked soundtrack *nudge nudge to Nicole who has witnessed this first hand and joined in*

And thats all for now cause Im super sleepy and I need to wake up and get my butt in gear because I need to upload stuff... someone kick me and tell me to hurry up and do it cause I swears I will! And if anyone has requests I'm always open!

01. I have an obsession with Vegan food. I love it... its so good. If it was not for my love of cheese I would totally convert but perhaps ill taste soy cheese before I rule out any possibilities.

02. There is a moniter lizard living inside my head, just behind my sinus cavities. It runs on wheel to keep things going... for the most part. Sometimes he acts up and gnaws on my sinuses.

03. Singing is something I have always loved. I'm obsessed with musicals of any variety and will one day be on Broadway!! Hahaha.. well in my dreams.

04. I have a constant anxiety over my teeth falling out. Its my stupid dreams.. I always have the most horrible dreams about my teeth falling out!

05. One of the strangest things about me is no doubt my phobia of mustard.. yes... the evil yellow condiment of the devil. *shivers* its unnatural and unholy.

06. I once slept in a cardboard box in Canada... to meet the pope.

07. I love architecture. It's one of my favorite things to draw and sketch, especially Victorian houses, castle ruins, Gothic architecture and Georgian. I love Europe because of this and because of the history there. Im a huge nerd in that sense... I just love old places and antiques. hehehe.

08. I abosolutely LOVE LOVE the Scottish accent... im so attracted to it... I don't know why.. well I blame Diana Galbadon for Outlander.. but anyway.. yes.. any Scottish men out there? Im here! lol lol lol.
