's birthday, and I would have never expected the response I've gotten from this deviation. I want to thank everyone who faved and commented on him, for he was a labor of love. I've been given by my friend what I would like to call the Great Plushie List, which is a list of plushies that he wishes me to make for him, and trust me the list is big! I don't have the entire list on me, and I think there has been some small changes here and there to the list of plushies to make, but when its done, It shall be awesomes and I'll be sure to update with a list and my progress on this awesome project. If anyone here has a particular plushie they wish to see next, just comment in the journal! Also, sorry for such a long delay in doing anything, but I've been on the hunt for another job, the one that I have currently is relocating out of state, and well, I don't have the means to relocate with them, so I have to find something here. ]]> ~catgirlartist WOOT! http://catgirlartist.deviantart.com/journal/13934210/ http://catgirlartist.deviantart.com/journal/13934210/ Sun, 29 Jul 2007 23:04:38 PDT Of course I am going slowly(and I do mean slowly) through Ryu-mithril's entire collection of games, which is and isn't a lot of games, but I thought I would go crazy and try and beat them all anyways.

I am trying to remember my gaming roots, because I haven't played videogames this much since I was like 8 or 9. (I stopped being an avid gamer after the Sega Genesis) I found out that I missed out on way too much. I think the hardest game by far was NiGHTS, because I number one had to do it all in one sitting (no internal memory), and two its really hard to get at least a C ranking on all stages. Who knows, I may decide to be insane later and try and get all A rankings, but that may take days.... In anycase, now for updates!

's journal, yesterday (the 23rd) was the big 2-0 for me. Turning another year older has made me think about all that has happened in the last year, and considering, it hasn't turned out to be a bad year at all. Sure, I've had some serious problems with my relatives, moved out of the parental unit's house, lost love and found it again, and made some friends and lost some along the way, but such is life. I look back, and frankly I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world, and I'm happier to be where I'm at now than I have been in a long time. I've found a new family to come home to, I will be starting college again soon, and I've got some really great friends that continue to be there for me as I continue to grow into the woman I've become today. I've had a pretty sweet life so far, and I can't help but to feel thankful for the friends and family I have around me today. Without them I would still be living in a big old empty house, dating a guy that wanted me for nothing more than to be his mommy replacement and a living sex toy. So thank you everyone for the happy birthdays, and I will keep everyone posted!

Here is our heirarchy system, along with your abilities in that position:

Curator: Position belongs to

only, as orginal founder and creator of this chatroom, and his abilities are unlimited.

Curators: Position belongs to those that have assisted and continue to assist greatly to the upkeep, creation and promotion of the chatroom. It is a position that also has unlimited abilities, and any member that wishes to be promoted to such will have to first be a member, and then it will have to be agreed upon by all members for a member to be promoted to this position.

Arbitrator: Position belongs to those who wish to become a moderator of the site and have the ability to kick and ban members as seen fit due to rules violations, and will also have the ability to change the topic to whatever crazy fancy they see fit.

Promo-ters: Postion is same status as your standard "member" and people may become so after a week "trial" so to speak if you are on here on a regular basis and contribute regularly to the chatroom, not just there to post thumbs and whatnot.

I realized with some poking from

that I haven't truly finished any art of mine in at least a year or so, and that in getting back into the swing of things as far as completion goes when it comes to doing my own thing, I suck! I've taken a look at my work, and something feels like its missing, it doesn't have that "WOW" factor that I am so desperately looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions on sparking creative ideas, or even ideas on how to improve existing art pieces? I need to know what is missing!!!!

I've got a picture of tails
I drew it in the same position found on the pamphlet found in Sonic Adventure 2
I've got 2 assholes that accuse me of tracing it, and are convinced that it is stealing?

I'm not making a profit off of it, and I had 2 people witness me sit down and draw it. Can anyone explain to me why people here have to act like immature babies and post such negative opinions on here? I thought the comment box was for someone who could give suggestions and a real critique, not insult the artist by saying it was "traced". I especially expect better from the very people who say art is their chosen field, and have dedicated years of education towards it. I expected comments on composition, color, shading and the like, not someone's opinion that they "don't like tracing, and that it's considered tracing if you draw the same image as what is shown in flyers, or is copywrighted." You know, the artist that drew the original in the first place didn't get credit for it, because its owned by Sega. If this person simply wanted me to give credit where credit is due, she could have just simply said so, and I would've obliged. I see so many fanarts out there of sonic, and I love sonic too, and all I wanted to do was simply post what I had put my heart and soul into, spending 2 whole days working on it, nonstop, just so it would look perfect, only to have it trashed by people accusing me of tracing. I do not trace images, I may draw images for other people,(this was one of them), and some of them may be copywrighted, but I am not here to insult the original artist, or to claim it as my own. To do that is illegal, and an insult to the orginal artist. Also, here's another thing, don't animators make a living off of copying someone elses idea or orginal art, all day long, to make it into a movie or a cartoon show for millions to watch? Are we going to degrade those people too? I'm just tired of the flame war, and I want it to stop.
