It'll be 8-bit, just like 9, and features an Easy Mode! Which means I can actually play it! (seriously, I only beat Galaxy Man in 9...) We also have a look at a new Robot Master, SheepMan. No, I'm not kidding. Sheep Man. He apparently hurls electrified wool at you. Or something.

Next week I have a test in Chemistry, and in the class I'm taking that's something of an earth-shattering event. So, once again, I will drop off the face of the planet so that I can study. After that, I might have a little more free time to upload a new picture. MAYBE two, but...don't hold your breath... I mean, I have them done. All I have to do is color them. But, I've been playing video games again...

The same schtick as usual: I have a ton of pictures waiting to be colored, but I'm a lazy perfectionist and I won't color a picture until I'm satisfied with it, which, apparently, is never. There will probably be even more delays, now that YouTube hero Shadowboro (famed for uploading all six seasons of Captain Planet (which I have been watching while drawing), and other obscure cartoons from the Golden Age) has been suspended. This guy had over a hundred pages of cartoons, so I doubt he's going to go through the trouble of re-uploading them.
Which means that, yet again, I'm on the search for a show to watch. Expect delays.

In other news, CoroCoro has released the first pictures of Operate Shooting Star. Protodudes Rockman Corner and the MegaMan Network have collaborated to translate CoroCoro's article. [link]
Some major details:
-It's not confirmed, yet, but it seems that both Rockman.exe and Shooting Star Rockman are playable characters. Harp Note is also making a cameo appearance. There could be others.
-ClockMan (Clock Genius?) is a highly advanced Navi from the future who has, for whatever reason, come back to the past. He appears to be an enemy boss with his own scenario.
-It seems Capcom is re-using the sprites and maps from the original EXE 1. On the plus side, there'll be a map of the Internets on the touch screen.

You know, when they announced that OSS would be an EXE 1 remake, I said I wouldn't buy it.
Now, I'm not so sure. :\

Well, it seems that watching The Speed Gamers play MegaMan games non-stop has rekindled my artistic inspiration. I'm half-way done with a new picture. And by half-way done, I mean, it's half-way colored and should be up either today or tomorrow. Wednesday the absolute latest.

In other news, I have several linearts finished and waiting to be colored. The problem is that I'm preoccupied with several games at the moment, none the least of which is Megaman Star Force 3. Very good game! Much better than the previous two. A little tricky: I've only achived the Black Ace form once. I still haven't beaten it yet. When I do, I will give a detailed review.

Rocky's sick. He seems to have caught a Trojan-type virus, and now Antimalware pop-ups are, well, popping up on my screen.In addition, I occassionally get 403 pages from Google. It's not as bad as other infections I got on other computers, but this one's pretty annoying. I also get the feeling something really bad could happen if it's not taken care of soon, but...well, we can't really afford to take Rocky to the doctor right now...

KNIGHT RIDER!! HOMG I HAVE A REASON TO WATCH TV AGAIN!
The show's writers (dubbed the Knight Writers, lol) have begun to make wholesale changes to the cast, removing the superfluous characters (*coughalmosteveryonecough*) and focusing more on developing Mike and KITT. So! if the series can stay afloat long enough to garner a second season, Knight Rider '08 may have the potential to become a worthy successor to the original.
KAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!! OMG KARR! In the original Knight Rider, KARR was voiced by Peter Cullen, who some Transformers junkies might recognize as the voice of Optimus Prime, both from G1, and from the movie. WELL! Next week, KARR makes his KR08 debut, and Peter Cullen is once again playing the voice of KARR!

So! New Year's Resolution. For the two or three people who ever read this, I have 2 New Year's Resolutions:
1). (obviously) Be more active on dA. By this, I mean, post pictures more often.

2). Do well in school. Last semester...I did well, but not as well as I would've liked. I need to seriously work harder this year, because I'm taking Chemistry. I never was good at Chemistry...

I...think I can do both. I really do.

Oh, that reminds me. My sister's boyfriend (awesome guy, real sweet) got us an XBox 360 for Christmas, so now, I'm looking into XBox games.
My choices are Blue Dragon, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic: Unleashed, and Dark Sector (maybe: it IS a rated M game. Pretty gory...), along with a few others (C&C 3!!!!!! )

This means I now have NO EXCUSE to not be drawing/coloring! See, for the past few days the my mom's laptop, which is what I was using to watch Knight Rider while coloring, was at the shop getting repaired. I wasn't able to use the desktop, as my sister was using that to watch Haruhi (or something like that). So...I just crashed on the couch and played Final Fantasy. :B
But! Now that I have Rocky, I can have a fun distraction whenever I want! Yay!

I still need to personalize a few things, such as favorite websites, wall-papers and cursors and such, but that'll be for another time. I'm currently suffering from an annoying head cold. Nothing I can't handle, but I'm still tired. I'll probably finish personalizing Rocky over the weekend.
As for pictures, I don't think I'll have this one finished by the end of the year. Or maybe I wiil. Can't say yet. Either way, my new year's resolution is to be more active on dA, and with Rocky's help, I think I might be able to pull it off.

So, here I am coloring this picture, right? It looks awesome. The shading is just right and the colors are falling into place and blending together real nice. Then, all of a sudden, my brain goes into like, ACID TRIP mode. I start coloring everything WRONG, and the colors start looking like something from episode of the TWILIGHT ZONE and when I stopped to check the damage, I realized I, like a careless idiot, SMUDGED part of the picture, and in trying to fix it only made it WORSE.
THANKFULLY, I had the forethought to scan my picture before I began all this idiocy, so it's not a TOTAL loss, but it is still annoying because I have to start ALL. OVER. AGAIN.

This is what I get for not having something nice like music or YouTube to distract me when I'm coloring.

If that's not bad enough I'm SUPER STRESSED right now because my math final is this coming Monday. If I don't pass this exam with a sixty or higher, I have to repeat the whole freaking course. I NEED to pass this exam and move into the next level of math in order to take my chemistry class because for WHATEVER REASON, that class needs to be taken in conjunction with the next level of algebra. FRUSTRATION!

On another, significantly lighter note, today starts the twelve days of Christmas. If your true love didn't get you a partridge in a pear tree, how about this? Nintendo Dream magazine came out with an article concerning some new Rockman project. It has a cryptic picture of Rockman Classic, Rockman X, Rockman.exe and Ryuusei no Rockman all lined up in a row and some even more cryptic text along the lines of:
"Succeeded Hot Battle! One after another release! The series latest work! highest masterpiece at last"
A new installment in a Rockman game? (X9? Dash3? ZX3? EXE7? RnR4?), a new series altogether? Rockman scramble battle?
I dunno.
Hopefully we'll find out soon.

All that's left is my Humanities final this Thursday and I'm done for this semester. Which means, that, save for a cram session Wednesday, I'm free to work on my drawings all this week! Yay!

Like the spaz-tastic, ADD-ridden, space cadet I am, I started a new one. Two new ones in fact. Both line arts are done and are waiting to be colored. It should be noted that they are related to Seven Cities.
But why the delay?
A few reasons.
1). Three gajillion birthday parties stuffed into 30 days. But that's really just an excuse.
2). The real reason I've stopped is because of a quirk that I have. When I'm drawing and/or coloring, I like to have something on to distract me. Music, movies, TV, etc. It used to be my music, but too much iPod is bad for your ears, especially when you go 3, 4, 5 hours at a time non-stop (yes, I have no life). This problem was convieniently solved by a little-known site called TV-Links (tv-links.eu). This great site had THREE FULL SEASONS of the Classic Knight Rider series. I'd open up this site, play an episode and go to work. Really it was very nice. I got a lot done.

Anyway! I FINALLY finished a lineart!
I'll spend a nice chunk of this week coloring it, but I don't expect it to be up until, I dunno, next week?
Yeah, I'm getting a new book this week, and I probably won't be able to put it down long enough to actually finish the picture. That, and I don't want to rush the coloring. I'm hoping that this picture will be my best so far, with the color quality and lighting and such.

That, and I REALLY want to read this book.

Don't forget, RnR3 releases in Japan this Thursday! (11/13/08)
Hopefully, there will be lots of updates after its release, and I'll be there to get them all!

Apparently, RnR3 got "leaked" somehow, and downloadable ROMs have appeared all over the Internet.
This doesn't mean you should try to download one. Capcom needs all the money they can get.

Anyway, [link] has a small review (one member downloaded the ROM and played it for a bit, then deleted it), and claims that Capcom has pulled out all the stops for this game.
Something I've been saying all along.
But don't take my word for it. Or even his word. The link above also has a trio of videos showing the opening sequence, the battle tutorial, and a battle against Ox Fire.
Fun stuff.
BUY the game! DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!!!

I got my books today. For the next three, four, five days (?), it will be next to impossible to get a hold of me. I like my books.

RnR3 is out. First day sales...are less than promising. The game sold a lot less than both its predecessors (SSR1=93,000 units, SSR2=44,000 units, SSR3=30,000).
Part of this may be due to Japan being in a bit of an economic crisis of its own, much like what the US is going through. Game sales in general have declined all over Japan.
Hopefully, things will be better by the end of the week.

So, me and my mom go to my grandma's house so we can run errands and go shopping and stuff like that. As soon as she's done singing praises and congratulating me over my car, she says, "Come inside, you have to see this!" She takes us to her garage. Sitting on her ironing board is a shoebox, and inisde the shoe box is a tupperware container. Inside the container, is a tiny turtle.
My grandma says my grandpa found it while he was pulling out of the garage that morning. He looks back in his rear view mirror and sees what looks to him like a large leaf. He looks again and sees that the leaf is MOVING. He gets out of the car and sees that it's the turtle in question.
I identified the turtle as a baby snapping turtle, and thus began a small but entertaining adventure to figure out what to do with it.
My first choice was to give the little guy to my best friend, who recently lost her pet tortise. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, he said no. I'll get to that in a second.
In the end, we decided to take the now-dubbed Horatio to the lake near my house and let him go there.
I now have second thoughts as to how wise this course of action was, because when we got back home after letting him go, I did some research.
Horatio is an Alligator Snapping Turtle, the largest freshwater turtle in North America, and one of the largest in the world. I don't have exact numbers, but, here's the wiki if you're interested.

According to PRC reader, "Action Hank", Shogakukan's "History of Rockman Animation" website has opened up an vacant spot next to "Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe" in the "time line" section. Two weeks ago however, there was no vacant spot.
So, is this an indication of a new Shooting Star/Ryuusei anime? A full fledged television show? OVA? Film? Or nothing at all?
Honestly, I don't know what to make of this. I've heard absolutley no news on an SSR3 adaption with the exception of the upcoming animated TV spot (of which isn't even remotely related to Shogakukan. Production IG is behind the project).
I'll be watching this closely...

Two days before Halloween, I bring you this EDIT concerning some new and interesting RnR3 updates.
The first of which is the EPIC new wallpaper of Burai (Mind you, I very nearly started drooling over the last wallpaper featuring Solo). Burai's new, very shiny sword is very epic indeed.
The second is that Luna and Kizamaro's Wizards, Mode and Pedia respectively, have finally been unveiled. All I can say about them is...um...well...Mode looks like (s)he/it belongs in a magic show.
There are cellphone walls up as well, featuring art of Solo, (new!)Laplace, Gonta, Ox, Shidou, (new!)Acid, along with the greeter Wizard Clark and his sometimes-sub Gardner and a Denpa-kun.

-Rockman 9's producer, Takeshita, said that a ROCKMAN 10(!!!) would be possible with the support of the fans.
-Finally, Inafune himself said that with RM9's success, a Rockman DASH 3 is now a possibility, BUT HE NEEDS SUPPORT!

For those people who are having trouble picking between Red Joker and Black Ace, The Undersquare has just released a detailed report concerning the Finalized Noises and their abilities and attacks.
First off, here are the abilities that both forms share, as copy-pasted from the Undersquare:
-The Card Force folder will automatically change to a specialized folder
-Buster MAX
-War Rock Attack will have cards deal 2x damage
-No Charged Shot
-Deactivates the previously used Noise Change/Merge Noise and its abilities
-The transformation lasts only three turns. Afterwards, Noise will reset to 0%

Good so far?
Now then, Black Ace has these unique abilities:

Not that it's surprising, but my first choice was a Subaru Impreza (come on, now? Who's surprised by this?). UNFORTUNATELY, those little buggers are ridiculously over priced and they don't even come with a lot of niceities (such as an MP3 jack). That, and the salesman was a total jerk. ;-;

So, in the end, I got a little Honda Civic. Cute little booger, too. Has a whole bunch of niceities, including more cubby-holes than I know what to do with.

Anywho, now that that's all settled out, I'm going back to drawing. Hit a snag with one of the SS pics, so I had to start over. *shot*

An evil organization is going to destroy the world! Again! This time it's called Dealer, headed up by a dude named Mr. King, who is masquerading his nefarious deeds under what is most-likely to be some chartitable organization called the King Foundation. He has two henchemen: the brother and sister duo of Jack and Quintia, who are accompanied by Wizards Corvus and Virgo respectively. Jack is a hot-headed trouble maker who becomes the fire-element Jack Corvus, while the more mature Quintia becomes the water element Queen Virgo.
Finally, the winner of the RnR3 Create-a-Boss contest has been announced and revealed: one "Moon Destruction," a baddie based off the Moon who loves to attract attention to himself with his songs.

I was finally able to take the computer to my dad's technician friend for a total registry sweep. I got it back today. It's as good as new, with no pop-ups, and a brand new virus-zapping, registry sweeping program that'll hopefully keep crap like this from happening again.

All art projects will be placed on temporary hold while I read Christopher Paolini's new book Brisingr, the third book in his Inhertience Cycle, which I am crazy for.
Chances are, however, I'll leave my reading for home and my drawing for school.
Which is what I usually do anyway.


So.
I finished Brisingr. Definitely better than his last book Eldest, though not as awesome as his first book Eragon. I won't go into any great details.

After watching the end of a Sherlock Holmes movie, and realizing I've never read a mystery novel begining to end in my life, I've decided to start reading Sherlock Holmes novels. Not with the same gusto with which I read Eldest, but definitely with interest. As with before, I'll do my art at school during humanities class and college survival class, as they are literally an hour and fifteen minutes of nothing else better for me to do.

MegaMan 9.
All I can say is...wow. A bold move with an epic result. MegaMan 9 is, without question, HARD. Everything about the game is designed to be a challenge, from Rock's ability to only shoot in one direction, his lack of charge shot or slide, and to the placement of enemies that take into consideration these exact things. It's difficult. If it weren't for my tenacity, I'd of probably never bought the game in the first place, since I heard from the get-go it's the hardest of the MegaMan games to date. Yet it's such a whimsical game with cute 8-bit music and cute 8-bit graphics, that you can't get MAD at the game. You just laugh and try again and again until your eyes hurt and you feel like you'll fall asleep if you close your eyes.
That happens to me anyway. Also happens with Super Mario World.

Oh, btw, Trans Code no. 011, Wolf Forrest, is now on the satellite server at the RnR3 official site. I forgot the code though. ;-;
Also, Trans Code no. 020 has been revealed: Cygnus Wing, who comes complete with his little "Quackie Lackies." What's really weird about all this, though, is that Cygnus Wing's Trans Code 020 appears directly beneath Wolf Forrest's 011. Because we all know that 20 comes after 11, right? It's new math, I swear.

My computer is seriously on the fritz. I didn't want to say anything because I felt it would sound like I was whining, but, I need to vent. It's bad. Like, every five minutes some anti-spyware/ardware/virus thing keeps popping up and taking over my screen, and if it's not that it's A SPORTS CHAT (wtf) or a dating site or some random, obscure viral video site. All of this, mind, with my pop-up blocker set at max so I can't even open an e-mail without doing some dang ritual.
Ordinarily, this wouldn't be a problem, but, it is. It's gotten to to the point where my computer is slow, certain sites won't load, letters or spaces when typed don't register and don't appear, and, just when one of these God-forsaken pop-ups show up, my internet web-page freezes, which is especially annoying I'm in the middle of typing, say, a response to a comment, or a journal, or an artist's comment. Honestly, I'd like to take it to my dad's friend, who fixes computers, but, unless my dad says so, this hunk of junk's not going anywhere. It's. FRUSTRATING.


*sigh* On another note, the first of the Seven Cities pictures is coming along smoothly. There's also a chance I might be writing a fanfiction (for English class. :3 ).

I probably won't be putting up anymore pictures any time soon. At least until my perfectionist self is pleased with the way the pictures look.

Rockman news...not much. Still no word on an anime adaptation for RnR3. Even stranger, though, is that there's virtually NOTHING on the Red Joker version. No pictures, no news, no nothing. It's kinda weird.

Yes, several things were bound to happen.
For starters, we have not one, but TWO hurricanes barring down on us: Hanna and Ike . Hanna is due to brush us on her way up the east coast, while Ike is aspiring to smack both us and Cuba at the same time. Because he's Ike and he can do that. Fun.

Second, I found a class I do not like in college: the Hummanities. Hey guys, guess what! According to the evolutionary psychology behind the hummanities, I'm drawing all these pictures because I'm not athletic or physically fit and I need to find SOME way to attract a mate! Srsly!
wtf. I hate that class. With the burning passion of a thousand suns, I. HATE. It. So I play my DS while this guy rambles on. I forgot how much fun ZX: Advent is. Model A ftw.

Finally, I've officially started the Seven Cities project (finally). Yay!
Though it'll still be a while before the first picture is done. :/ But! At least I started.

So...about my lack of art...
Internet. It's almost all internet. Be it YouTube or some other site. I HAVE been doing sketches here and there for my pictures, but they won't be posted here.
If it's not Internet, it's video games. For instance, I very recently discovered that I can play NES, SNES, and even N64 games on my Wii with the Virtual Console ( a feature on the Wii that's been there for eternity but I never figured out how to use. :B )
In short, I've been reliving my childhood. *hums Super Mario World theme*

But! I have not been neglecting my watch on RnR3 updates and info!
GeoRockman.net has updated its site with a whole bunch of new pictures from the latest issue of CoroCoro: most important of these are arts of the mysterious Black Ace and Acid Ace. Check out [link] for the pictures and links and such.

Hey! There be a hurricane in these here parts! D:
Though, more of a Tropical Storm, really. Tropical Storm Fay has been terrorizing my part of the world since yesterday. Thankfully, we're not getting the full brunt of the storm: mostly just the feter bands, which means a lot of wind and rain and the occassional black out. In other words, nothing serious.

In other RnR related news, the official site has updated it's satellite server with Trans Code 001, which is, surprise surpris, Acid Ace.
However! There is no information on him available. Clicking on his code will bring up a red screen with a "NOT ACCESS" message. According to Mr. Floating Generic Wizard, the cause of this was an attempted hack on the Satellite Server, and because of their idiocy, we can't see the pretty pictures and the data that goes with them anymore. Darn you non-existent hackers!
Yeah, no one actually hacked the site, it's all for story purposes. XD

O hai.
Tomorrow is Labor Day! It's called that because that's when everyone get's to play hooky and not "labor" and stay home for a "day." Seriously.
Anywho, there was some sort of convention deal in Japan the other day, which revealed the expected companion version and form to Black Ace: "Red Joker." (Okay, seriously. Props to whoever predicted that this game would have something of a card theme.) While there's no official art of Red Joker yet, the silhouette on the box looks epic. So, I guess it all comes down to which version has the Gemini Noise form. XD
Another thing that was announced was Ryo Takamisaki, the awesome artist behind the Rockman.exe manga would be taking over the RnR manga (FINALLY).
And finally, the MegaMan Star Force box set has been released in the UK. I envy you people in the UK. At least over there Star Force is acknowledged to exist. Over here it's: GTA, MGS, etc, etc.

I'm on something of a Zelda binge right now. Not exaggerating, I'm playing like, 5 Zelda games at once (Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and Majora's Mask(my personal favorite), and Phantom Hourglass). This all started because I re-discovered Majora's Mask while I was on vacation in Marco Island. Yes. It's all that vacation's fault.

I start school Wednesday. Also, I only have one class on Wednesday. And that is awesome.

So! Um. To make up for it, I have some new RnR3 info.

In the Character bio section (that's the section on the left) there's a new preview movie. That movie alone makes the game look epic. WarRock!

Also, on the Satellite Server page is info on Ox Fire. Lots of stuff in Japanese, so, I don't know what it says. Height and weight are in the metric system, so that's also Greek to me. However, if Subaru's stats were any indication, Ox Fire is friggin' HUGE. To get to the Satellite Server page, just use the same code from last time.

And...that's it. I fail. I know.

Happy August 1st?

Nothing new. Wallpapers are back on the RnR3 site, in addition to a new one, featuring a sketchy manga-ish scene of Subaru's new henshin sequence. My sister and her boyfriend think it looks cool, which says a lot for me.
Subaru's new catch phrase is "Trans Code No. 003!" This actually says a lot to me about what might be in store for the next game.
From what we know about the 3rd game, in order to use Denpa Henkan, you must have clearance from the Satellite Police, given, I believe, in the form of a Trans Code. Subaru's for instance, is No. 003.
Now, then.
Remember the first wallpaper that was released? The one with Subaru, Misora, Luna, Gonta, Kizamaro, Solo and Akatsuki? It's pretty obvious by now that they are the central characters in the story, and very likely that each of them will possess the ability to use Denpa Henkan. This is theory is even more likely by Ox Fire having the code 005.
Assuming that each of the seven people I just mentioned has their own code, then chances are that they'll eventually appear in their wave forms on the Sattellite Server page on the official site.
Where am I going with all this?
There are ten slots on that page. There are seven people listed. Meaning that there are three extra slots. Who are they for?
What's more, what's with the locked server at the very top? My theory: if the first server contains info on the good guys, then the second server has the bad guys.

New RnR3 info, courtesy of ON AIR and the Undersquare.
First up is the release date: November 13. In Japan, of course. The rest of us will probably have to wait about a year or so until it comes out here.
Second are new Noise Changes. In addition to the expected additions of Wolf, Cancer and Crown, we also have two completely new Noise Changes: Corvus and Virgo (Crow and Virgin respectively). Who are they? And what role will they play in the story?
Third on the list is Shidou. Apparently he CAN Denpa Henkan, and his Wave Form is called "Acid Ace."
Finally, the ultimate transformation I mentioned a few journals back is also hinted at: something called Black Ace. Based on the blurry image, it kinda looks like Ice Pegasus, but different.(xB) Apparently, this form can only be reached when Rockman's Noise Level reaches 200%, has a bunch of abilities, including "float", and bears a destroy-all attack called "Black End Galaxy."
Now, Black Ace is probably more than just the name of the ultimate transformation: it's also probably the name of the version. In other words, there's probably more than one version, and each version will probably have its own unique Ultimate Form, as well as different sets of noise changes.

Who remembers Battle Network 4? *raises hand* Anyone? Well, for those who don't, please allow me to sum it up for you.
In Battle Network 4, a giant metor is hurtling toward earth, and it is threatening to crash into the earth, and would cause it to go BOOM.
While all this is going on, Lan and Megaman are having fun competing in various tournaments while uncovering a conspiracy group known as Nebula. Through it all, MegaMan is gaining "Soul" transformations-assimilating the battle data of his friends and applying it to his own to gain the ability and appearance of aformentioned friends.

Now, let's go back to RnR3. A giant meteor (Meteor G) is hurtling toward earth, and it is threatening to crash into the Earth and make it go BOOM. Oh, and it's also emitting some funky waves dubbed as "noise."
While I doubt Subaru and WarRock will be having fun competing in tournaments while uncovering conspiracy plots (though you never know), they are somehow able to assimilate the noise and use it to undergo "Noise Changes"-allowing them to assume the form and abilities of the FM-Seijin.

Oh, and while I'm at it, allow me to introduce the known Noise Changes.

WAIT WHAT? Yup. Gemini. While this probably means that my boys will return in RnR 3 , I can't say that I like the Gemini Noise form. But! Who am I to complain? I'll be more than happy to take what I can get.
There are apparently more forms, and they will be revealed in next months CoroCoro, along with an "ultimate form." Yipee.

That one small piece of good news aside, we go back to the "I can't believe they're doing this" news. In the Battle Network series, battles took place on a 4x3 grid divided into two sections: Your side and their side, designated by colors. The camera was positioned in a "side angle," that is, you could only see the sides of the characters.

In RnR, this changed dramatically. The camera is positioned behind Rockman, so you could only his back.

They're bringing back the side angle, it seems.
I actually liked the battle angle from RnR, as it seemed more dynamic as opposed to the static side angle camera of BN.
However, I must admit that the side angle camera probably means that they're bringing in the larger field from BN, meaning more room to maneuver. More room to maneuver means more options on both sides, as opposed to the simplistic right or left of previous installments. While that's definitely a good thing (more strategy=more fun), it just seems to me that Ryuusei is losing that which made it unique from its predecessor.

Due to general laziness I've been watching various old-school cartoons on YouTube. Anyone remember Felix the Cat? How about Street Sharks? Thundarr the Barbarian? ._. *glances at cartoons on now* They just don't make 'em like they used to... (Ben10 and Transformers aside, of course).

New updates for RnR 3. It turns out that the Noise Forms are actually a form of mutation. When Rockman soaks up enough noise, his body mutates to assume the form of an FM-Seijin he defeated in the past. Creepy. I don't know how that'll work, but I'm really curious to find out.
And, while we're on that subject, we have a new Noise Change: Cancer!

In other news, RnR3 now has its own offical site (Found here: [link])! The site has three areas: the green on on the far right takes you to some kind of promotional page. Now, onto Seven Cities.

As I mentioned earlier, the Seven Cities project is a Ryuusei no Rockman AU story that I want to flesh out.
The main centerpiece of this story is the concept of the phantom island of Antillia [link] -also known as the Isle of Seven Cities. Hence, the name of the project.
Mu was the crown jewel of Antillia, the Seventh City and represented the epitomy of Antillia's six other cities: Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Light and Darkness.
However, one day, without warning, Antillia was attacked, and the island and its Cities disappeared without a trace...

The other key point in the story are the Gate Keepers and the Chosen Ones.
Each of Antillia's Seven Cities had a main Gate, and each Gate, a Key. The Keys were unique in that each one also had a unique elemental frequency. A Key could only be used by a person who shared its frequency-a concept borrowed from the Chosen Ones of the Great War.
Years before Antillia was populated, before it was known that Denpa even existed, the Earth was attacked by invisible alien lifeforms. These aliens possessed hapless Humans in an attempt to destroy Humanity. However, on rare occassions, one of these aliens would attempt to possess a Human who had the same frequency as it did, resulting in a Human in control of immense power. Many of these Humans used their powers to drive off the invading aliens, and these Humans were called Chosen Ones, for it was believed at that time that they had been chosen by God to defend the Earth.

So...
What do the Gate Keepers and the Chosen Ones have to do with Antillia? How does Ryuusei no Rockman play into this?
...That would be a secret for next time!

And now, Star Force 2.
I beat it. In less than a day (my total play time something like 20 hours).
I bought the Dinosaur version and played through the Dinosaur version first (I will play the Berserk version after I beat all the bosses in the Dimmesional Gorge).

I will now do an brief review by comparing it to the anime (game > anime btw).

-As Sketch of ON AIR reported, there is no voice acting in SF 2, as opposed to its RnR2 counterpart. This is NOT a bad thing. Enough said.
-Vega (aka Orihime) is a bad guy from the get go. She does not ask for Geo's help in retreiving the OoPARTs, and in fact, does not meet him until the end.
-Hyde is NOT a maccabre artist: he's Vega's left-hand man (Hollow (aka Empty) is her right).
-Subaru's investigation of Mu begins when Dark Phantom (Phantom Black) attacks Geo and co. at the theater. At first, it's thought that they're just a string of crazy coincidences, but it is later revealed that all the incidents are, in fact, connected.
-The other villians (Rich Dotcom (Gori Monjirou), Gerry Romano (Kyuu Demagawa), and the Shaman of Whazzap (Osa Agume from Nansca village)), are presented with Ancient Star Carriers and Mu-jin warriors by Hyde under Orihime's orders, rather than being approached/possessed by the Mu-jin.
-While Omega-Xis does indeed swallow an OoPART by accident, it happens about half-way through the game, while Geo and Sonia are touring the museum (as opposed to at the begining with the Three Stooges).
-Geo's issue in this game is about living up everyone's high expectations of Mega Man-he doesn't want to be a hero, and feels he is under too much pressure.
-Solo/Rogue is emo because he is the last of the Mu. He hates any form of bond, believing that true strength comes from being able to hold your own by yourself. For this reason, he detests Geo.
-Vega has a superiority complex like nobody's business: she wants to use Mu and Le Mu to rid the world of people she considers "foolish" (which is pretty much everyone besides her), and rule the world as the Empress of the Neo Mu Empire.
-Le Mu (Ra Mu) is apparently the Creator Diety of the EM World.

Now comes the fun part! Highlights and Rantings! Yay!

-Somebody finally notices that Subaru talks to his left hand. Or that it talks to him. Depends on how you look at it. Hilarity ensues. (Eatzitup, ftw)

Also, so you guys have some idea what I'm up to, in addtion to this painting, I'm starting a project called "Seven Cities," which will be divided into two sets: "Gate Keepers" and "Chosen Ones."
The first set will be the Gate Keeper set, which will include six pictures, followed by the Chosen One set, also of six pictures.
It'll take a long time to do, especially since I'm more lazy than usual, preferring to play various RPG games than draw (and even less so to color). However, I've already started the line art for two of the Gate Keepers, so...eh. Who knows?
Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it. D:

EDIT: When JH24-san asked me about the Seven Cities project, I decided to share a small tid-bit with him, which I will share here also.
Seven Cities is a project introducing the six main characters of a fandom I hope to flesh out someday. It IS a Ryuusei no Rockman fandom, (a bit on the AU side, though) based heavily on RnR 2's concept of Mu, along with my own additions. I finally beat Finaly Fantasy XII. It only took like, what, a hundred hours of gameplay?
And I enjoyed every hour of it. I would totally play it over again in a heartbeat it was that fun. *shot*
Still, I actually feel like I accomplished something today. So, now that I've finally beaten it...
I'm going to DISNEYWORLD!!! *shot repeatedly*

Actually, no.
I'm going to play its sequel, Final Fantasy XII: Revanant Wings (henceforth known as FFXII 2). *insert collective groan here* It's for the DS, which means I can play it anytime, anywhere and not have to worry about my sister watching "Clean House."
On top of that, on the same day I get Final Fantasy XII 2, I'm getting a trio of novels called Temeraire or something like that. And...books and games tend to come first. Which means, still no pictures for a while.
And, either way, it's a moot point because my printer's still dead, so, I can't scan, because my scanner is mounted on my printer. Which really stinks.

And now for something completely differnt!

So, again, thanks to -sama, I got ANOTHER heads up, this time having to do with the classic Rockman series. Apparently, Rockman 9 is FINALY in the works. Though, apparently, it's not the game that connects the Rockman series to the X series, as everyone might have thought it was. The only info we have comes from the MegaMan Network: "Robots have expiration dates."
In other news, also from MegaMan Network...
Contrary to my initial, pessimistic belief, Ryuusei no Rockman 3 is NOT the conclusion of the series. It's getting there, but it's NOT QUITE there yet. Yay for me? I'd feel better if Gemini Spark was in it...

Also, I realized, JUST NOW, that Solo's English name is Rogue. I kept reading the all news articles going, why the frick are they calling Solo "Rogue?" Do they STILL not know his name? Wow. I am SLOW.

Sparky died last night. Like with Scooter, I don't know exactly why. Though, I have a feeling it's because I forgot to do something simple like adding the solution to make the water safe for her, or something, because I'm an absent-minded space cadet. Thanks to Isil-san for being there to make light of the situation and help me get through it better than I did with Scooter-kun. Of course, one might now be thinking, "Erckie-chan, maybe it's a sign. Maybe you're not supposed to have a Bichir. You have Christian (a betta fish) and you have Cookie. Isn't that enough?"
Normally, yes. But, I'm stupid and I don't take hints very well. That, and I love Bichirs. So, I'm probably going to get another one today. Pray for me that I take better care of it this time.

MINOR EDIT: I bought a new bichir this past Thursday. It's really young, maybe a few weeks old, and this makes me very nervous. Fish are delicate creatures and young ones even moreso. This little one seems pretty healthy, so please pray that it continues to stay healthy, and pray for me that I take good care of it.

And, thanks to -san and the On-Air staff (and a heads up from -sama) we now have another big scoop about the third Ryuusei no Rockman game.
The new guy is called Akatsuki Shidou (OMG! Akatsuki is the name of my favorite character from Zombie Loan! xD *shot*) Apparently, he's an ace Net Police agent and the creator of the the new handheld Wave device called the Hunter VG (lol video game. xD *shot again*)
Also new to the game are "Wizards." Wizards are similar to the Copyroids from BN 6 in that they can materialize Waves into visible, tangible forms, thanks to the Hunter VG. Shidou, of course, has a Wizard named Acid (trippy. xD *shot repeatedly*). Solo's back, of course, with a Wizard of his own, named Laplace (I KNOW that that name has some sort of significance. I just can't remember it. It's mythological, I know that much...).
Apparently, WarRock (and Ox, too, according to the scans) can/will be materialized as well thanks to these "Wizards." (Hopefully other FM-Seijin too. *coughGeminicough*)
I dunno. Maybe I'm tired (didn't get any sleep last night), or I've lost interest, or what, but, honestly, I don't particularly care for these Wizard things. Maybe I'm just bitter at the series for dropping the ball with the coolest character ever created and how it just brings in new characters rather than develop old ones. But, I will continue to follow the game developments. It's still way too early to draw conclusions, so, meh.

I'm tired. I'm going to pass out on the desk now. *headdesk*

However, I'm apprehensive about naming him Scooter. I'm still actually trying to think of a name for him. The little bugger was jumping all over the place when we were bringing him home, so my mom suggested naming him "Sparky." I like that name a lot, as 1). It describes him well and 2). It's an inside allusion to a certain pair of bishounen twins *shot*
The only reason I don't want to name him Sparky is because, well, he's a fish. Sparky's more of a dog name.
The other name I had in mind was "Horatio," an inside joke between me and Isil-san. Looking at him, though, "Horatio" doesn't seem to fit him either.
I'll probably end up calling him Sparky. Or something to that effect. Sparkler or something.

Another thing I'm happy about is finally having my Science Project done. I now have practically all the free time in the world, and inspiration is hitting me like a flood. I have a ton of pictures to color and I can't wait to get started.

Finally, I'm happy about Final Fantasy XII. The game is simply amazing. In a word, epic. If I don't have anything up this weekend, it's because I'm playing Final Fantasy XII. xD *shot*

Today, April 13, my beloved friend, and roommate, Scooter, passed away.
While placing him in his fish tank, he jumped out and landed on the tile floor. Me and my sister managed to get him back in the tank but, and he seemed okay, but...
apparently not...
Later autopsy revealed trauma to the rear half of his body. There was blood all over his sides and fins. The impact must've ruptured some of those blood vessels.
Rest in Peace, Scooter-kun. I will never forget you, my beloved miracle fish.

Monday-Drove all day, all night. @_@
Tuesday-Drove most of the day, arrived in New Jersey around lunch time. Unpacked, settled into our rooms. Went to the the Garden City Mall around dinner time.
Wednesday-Woke up ridiculoulsy early and drove to New York. Went to the Emprie State Building, got lost, had lunch a mall (can't remember the name), went to Broadway to see Phantom of the Opera, went to church, skated at the Rockefeller Center, strolled through Time Square.
Thursday-Visited the Statue of Liberty, shopped Chinatown and the Southstreet Sea Port, went back to New Jersey and had dinner at Mideval Times Dinner and Show.
Friday-packed and set out for Washington D.C.. Spent most of the day at Arlington National Cemetary. Had lunch at...um...Grand Union Station? I think? Either way. Arrived at Virginia.
Saturday-Busch Gardens. Succeeded in riding every single roller coaster at least once, as well as nearly freezing my hands off.
Sunday-Church in the morning and evening. Spent the rest of the day in the hotel.
Monday-Set off for the Wilds. Arrived around dinner time. Unpacked, had dinner, evening service.

Okay, before I continue, let me tell you something about the Wilds. My cabin was literally on the opposite end of the grounds from the dining hall and the chapel. And it's hilly. It's a downhill walk from my cabin to the dining hall/chapel. And there are stairs. Lots and lots of stairs leading to the dining hall/chapel. Now then, imagine going up said stairs in the dark, when its wet and cold, in a SKIRT. Yes. Girls are required to wear skirts to the evening service. Keep that in mind. Now then.
The rest of my experience at the wilds is pretty much routine, so I'll only include my main events for the next few days.

Tuesday-Went to the rifle range, and later rode "The Swing" (a wonderful contraption that lifts you up 65 feet or so into the air. And then drops you, allowing you to swing like a Human pendulum. Fun.) Went on a hike. Chose the more difficult Four Falls hike, which was very difficult, but very rewarding when I saw the waterfall at the end.
Wednesday-White Water Rafting. I didn't fall out of the raft.
Thursday-"Summit" course. Spent the rest of the day in the craft shop making things for my dad and my friends.
Friday-packed and headed home after breakfast. Left around 8:15 am. Arrived back home around 9:30 pm. Slept.

Understandably I'm pretty tired. And sore. But otherwise, little worse for the wear. I'm going to watch Tribe 21 now and probably cry. But before I do...
What's this I heard about a new Ryuusei season/movie? Can someone clear that up for me please? Is it real or just a really sick April Fools Day joke?

I'll be honest-I'm not really crazy about this trip. Thankfully, none of the idiots in my class are going, so I think I'll be okay, but...
I guess I'm fine with going to New York, Virgina (BUSCH GARDENS!!! ) and Washington D.C., but...the Wilds? meh. I've been to a place similar to it once before I was bored out of my skull.


On another note, I'm sorry for not being very active lately. With stuff like Senior Trip and science projects and graduation, I've been really tired and stressed. I've slowly gotten back into drawing, and I still have a whole bunch of pictures to color. I won't be coloring on the Senior Trip, though, since I'm pretty much guaranteed to lose my colored pencils while I'm up there. Hopefully I'll get some coloring done when I get back.

And finally, Tribe. I must say, Burai is starting to grow on me-in one episode he went from a mute nuisance who just showed up and dished out pwnage to our hero(s), to a respectible character with an honorable intention: he has earned my stamp of approval. Can't say I know why this is. It's either the whole thing of him being stuck in that capsule thing (I always find that cool for some WEIRD reason), or the fact that he said more things in this one episode than he did in the entire duration of Tribe as a whole. Either way.

Now, if this episode was any indication, then Tribe, and Ryuusei no Rockman as a whole, are going to go out with a bang. I can't say I'm thrilled about next week being the final episode of Ryuusei no Rockman, arguably one of the most imaginative Rockman generations, but I am interested in seeing how all this will wrap up.
So, here's to Ryuusei no Rockman. Here's to a series who had so much potential, yet had it squandered by poor writing, bad budgets, and worse ratings. Here's to a series who boldly attempted to step outside the box, but never lived to see its boldness carried out to its full potential. Here's to Ryuusei-may your rich and loveable cast and compelling story continue to live on in our hearts, fanarts, and fanfictions. Here's to you. Cheers.

I haven't had any real inspiration to draw or write these past few days, mostly due to school-related time constraints and pressures. Family issues are part of it, too, as well as a simple lack of inspiration. Put simply: I just don't feel like it right now.
I want to get back to drawing-I really do, but... *sigh*
I guess I'm just burnt out from all the stress.

WRONG. Next morning I woke up with congested sinuses and a sore throat.
Even worse, it was raining when I got the school hosting the FACCS competition. Now, this school is no fewer than 5 buildings situated on a huge plot of land. There's an E building, an M building, an S building, and an H building (there was an F building too but we didn't use it). These bulidings are seperate buildings. In other words, if you want to get from the H building to the E building, you're going to have to walk across the campus to get to it. Not too big a deal, right?
Not if it's pouring and you're wearing heels. And a dress. A long dress.
Thankfully, I didn't have to go very far very often. Usually Point A and Point B were just across from each other, and could be reached without getting thoroughly soaked.

But, even though I was sick, I still had to sing. I didn't tell my teacher about it, but even if I did, she'd be like, "And? Just do your best." I was sniffling and coughing throughout the entire performance. Dx

Honestly, the best part of the whole day was watching my friend Stewie and his friend Peter do a skit from "The Producers." The lines were hilarious and the way those two delivered them made it 1,000,000x's more funny. They got a call back, meaning they had a good chance and placing.
They didn't.
And neither did my painting (shock).
And neither did our choir. For ANYTHING (even less shock).
*shrug* Honestly, I'm not surprised.

Oh, and a funny story from the hotel room we stayed at Thursday night.
So, me, and three other girls are sharing one room, and we were just getting ready to go to bed. Suddenly, we got a phone call. The caller claimed to be from Hampton Inn (the place we were staying). She told Priscilla (who answered the phone) that if we heard anything strange outside, we shouldn't worry, only to lock all our doors and stay calm.
Well, the funny thing about it was, as Priscilla told us, was that the caller's voice sounded very strange-almost as though she had been crying. Then she sounded perfectly normal. Her voice switched back and forth in such fashions.
I knew right away it was a prank. It's inevitable when you have 70+ bored/hyperactive teenagers in one place. Unfortunately, the other girls obviously didn't think of this: they were really freaked out. Then, to make matters worse, some guy comes running past our door banging on our windows. Yeah, that did it. Carol was freaked out and shaking and Yvette and Priscilla wouldn't shut up about it, making Carol's situation worse. I told them to shut up and stop worrying about it because it was just someone's idea of a prank. Yvette told me to "stop being mean," and Priscilla said it wasn't funny and it was really sick. On top of that, she said she didn't recognize the caller's voice, which freaked everyone out even more. So, they kept on about it until, like, 1:17 or so in the morning, and we ended up sleeping with the light on.
The next day, Peter told me that it was one of our classmates who pulled it off, after all, as he got a similar phone call as well.
Honestly, I found the whole situation to be hilarious and annoying at the same time. Hilarious because they were so gullible, and annoying because they were so gullible. And they kept me from getting any sleep. xP

The vast majority of the annoying people are part of my school's baseball team, and won't be able to go on the trip due to conflictions with the game schedules. Huzzah.

And I'm still really bummed about Tribe. However, I have more or less come to grips with it and I've decided I can't let it affect me. I will remain loyal to the fandoms and will contine to draw Ryuusei no Rockman fanart and what have you. xP

Crap, I'm tired. Dunno why. Ever had one of those days where you're so tired that even when you want to do something your brain just kinda shuts off and your body feels like rubber? probably not, but that's how I feel right now. Maybe I'm sleep deprived.

...yeah.
I'm still in the Large Choir and Acrylic painting competitions, but I'm really upset because I really wanted to do something special for FACCs this year. *sigh* Oh, well.

Now on to less important ranting stuff. You may stop reading if you so chose.

Feeling better and am not as tired anymore. It seemed like it was just a passing thing and I felt better after a few hours. Which is good, because now I can concentrate on a new Oneshot I'm doing called The House. C=
I might have my friend Isil-san beta it. I could ask my sister's boyfriend, but over the past few weeks I've lost a lot of respect for him. I dunno. Maybe I'm just tired of him fawning over my sister and waiting on her hand and foot like her slave or something.
Whatever.
It's going to be long, so what I might do is divide it into sections and post them individually here for final beta-reading before posting the whole thing on FF.net. Maybe. No promises. Because when I make promises I tend to break them out of pressure. D:

This is it-the moment all that stress has been leading up to: Tomorrow I leave for FACCs. I'll be gone for about two days, coming back really early Saturday morning. I'm a lot less nervous now, since I'm only competeing in the large choral group now and in the acrylic paintings. And I KNOW I'm not going to win either of them. Why?
1). The judges are racist/biased.
2). We suck.
Nothing to it. It's simple really.
In short, I'm there for fun.
With any luck, my sister will stop her floating on MySpace and actually upload the pictures I took of my painting. Maybe. Depends on how moody she is. >>
I was hoping to have a picture finished before I left, but...alas, not. Epic failure! D8

Though my FACCs painting is nearly done (only a few minor details remain to be finished), I still have yet to master the piece for the choir competition. My teacher, normally thouroughly evil, has had a bit of mercy on me and my fellow ensemble members by giving us a new, simpler (if not considerably longer) song.
Following that is a two week trip at the end of the month. That's going to be TORTURE to say the least. The trip involves a 28 hour bus ride to New York, where I will be spending roughly a week. Follwing that, I will be heading back down through Virgina, Washington D.C, and finally to North Carolina where I will be spending the remaining week at a Christian retreat called The Wilds. Sounds fun, right?
WRONG. Not when you're traveling with MY class. No, this trip will test the very limits of my patience and will probably be the event that causes what's left of my sanity to finally spiral down the toilet.
Of course, not helping the situation AT ALL is the unsettling fate that seems to lie for Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe.
According to On-Air's Crimson Seiko, Tribe will be ending very shortly. Apparently, the series is going to end at episode 21. While I can't say it SURPRISES me (nothing really surprises a pessimist), I can say that it really, really hurts me. I was hoping for a huge uplift of the plot in Tribe's second half (and possibly the return of Gemini Spark), but it seems that this is apparently not the case at all.
*sigh*
February is an evil month. I don't care what anyone says. Especially you romantics out there. February is EVIL. It is plotting my destruction with March, which is even MORE evil.
Of this I am certain.

However, I often find myself setting aside one project and picking up another, only to put that one down and pick up still another. Or just start a new one altogether. :\
Speaking of projects, my FACCS painting is coming along very nicely. I do need to step it up a little, since FACCS is less than a month away.
EDIT: Yar, scratch that. Less than TWO WEEKS away. *headdesk* I plan to finish it this weekend since there's not THAT much left to do. But, on top of that me and my fellow small vocal ensemble members have yet to master our piece for FACCs. Which is, as I already stated, less than TWO WEEKS AWAY.
Also, I have a science project to do for my Marine Biology class. It's not too difficult, but it will be time consuming. Thankfully, however, my teacher seems open to the idea of me doing it after FACCs is over. Which is really, really nice. He's cool like that.
But, having said that, don't expect me to be extrodinarily active (with the exception of a few scraps here and there). I am drawing, just not coloring.
I'll be so happy when FACCs is over. So happy. *headdesk*

So, here's what's been happening. Every weekend now, Isil-san has been coming to my house to help me paint. When we aren't painting, we're watching her extensive collection of wrestling DVDs, which includes various Wrestlemania DVD's, a Jeff Hardy collection, and an Undertaker collection (<--personal favorite 0: ). Thus, thoughts concerning the matchups at the upcoming Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania events have preoccupied my time. On top of that, I've been entertaining ideas for a new beastie inspired by a dream that I had (undoubtedly inspired in turn by that new movie Cloverfield). I've been wanting to draw it, but... 1). Still trying to picture it in my head and 2). (and most telling) I can't draw beasties. (EDIT: rough idea can be found in the scraps)
And on top of all THAT, I've been playing Pokimans. My sister and her boyfriend got me back into it. There's a certain critter I'm after, and once I get it, I think I'll be set.

So with all that garbage going on, I haven't had much time to comtemplate my other ideas. (i.e. Ikai no Rockman or anything else) I want to, but, at the same time, my brain does not. To complicate matters further, Tribe isn't really helping. The episodes are entertaining maybe once, and quickly become stale. (I blame the godmodder that is the Thunder Berseker, among other things.)

However, I have laid all my pictures out in front of me and have determined to get back into the artistic mood. Might take a while, but it'll get done. Eventually.

I voted today!

Saw the Royal Rumble on Sunday with my best buddy . We were disappointed. Suffice it to say, all our favorites lost (for me that would be Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker, four out of my 5 favorites. Matt Hardy was out with a burst appendix. D8 ) And the one we hate (and in her case, with the burning passion of a thousand suns) made an unexpected return and basically threw our whole evening out of whack.

Okay, SERIOUSLY? This is starting to get STUPID. If I ever speak about Wrestling again, you have permission to shoot, brick, draw and quater, maim, and otherwise torture me. Really. I'm a ROCKMAN obsessie! Not a Wrestling fanatic!

This episode was nothing short of beautiful all the way through, but it got nothing short of AMAZING towards the end.
Good news: that gigantic plush-toy of a Muu-jin, Brachio, really doesn't seem to mean anyone any harm. I guess he just wants to protect the OOPART at the bottom of the lake.
Bad news: There WAS an OOPART down there. Emphasis on WAS. You'll have to watch the eppie for yourself to see what I mean. D:
Though, there was a major wtf moment at the very end. Made me go, "Um...what?" You'll know what is when you see it.
All hail Shingo Adachi!

On a side note (and it seems I'll be doing this often), Transformers: the animated series. Another interesting episode. Prof. Sumdac now knows of Megatron, and is thoroughly deceived by the Decpeticon leader's cunning and surprising acting skills.
Encouraged by Megatron, Prof. Sumdac builds three, "Dinobots." Anyone familiar with G1 knows what this inevitably means.

I'll be working some more on my painting tomorrow, so no pictures until next week at the soonest. Tomorrow. Tomorrow is Sunday. After that, it's Monday. *head->desk* Agh...!

It's for the annual FACCS competition that my school attends every year. asked me to submit an art piece this year in her honor since she graduated last year and can no longer compete.
So, I'll be spending most of today and tomorrow working on it.
I'll take Sunday off, though. I need to spend my last day of freedom wisely.

I like Brachio Wave. Of all the urban legends in the world, the legend of Loch Ness is my favorite. And Brachio Wave's design is pretty cool. Although, I prefer Brachio's natural form better. It's cute. =3

On a few side notes, Transformers Animated kicked off with a new episode (meaning you'd be lost if you didn't see the 90 minute special). Megatron is BACK. And he's NOT happy. D8
Sari is awesome. Bumblebee is hysterical. Prowl is a ninja. 'Nuff said.
Theme song is cool. It has an old-school feel with a modern beat. Not bad at all.
Oh, and MegaMan NT Warrior Abridged kicked off New Years Day with its first episode "Jack In!" Not bad. A lot of World of Warcraft jokes and Tron references. However, I feel it's too...quiet. Needs either more sound or more talk.

I've decided to move ahead with a new fanfiction idea I've been messing with for quite some time now. The chapters will be posted here for final proofreading and approval before being moved to Fanfiction.net.
Ikai no Rockman is essentially a retelling of Ryusei no Rockman (and eventually Ryusei no Rockman Tribe) in a fantasy setting. The story follows Subaru's journey through Japan as he hunts down clues concerning a mysterious "Spirit of Darkness," while at the same time, searching for his missing adventurer/explorer father.
I'm still debating this, but I'm also planning a small series of oneshots that will be for Deviant Art only. These oneshots will tell the stories of the other main characters and how they came into the company of their Spirit partners. I would like to know what you guys think of this.

So, yeah. Nochebuena and Christmas were fun, but pretty much uneventful. I spent most of Christmas Day talking with my sister's friends, who had come over for the day, and playing Super Paper Mario on the Wii. That game is fun. I'll most likely get Mario Galaxy next.

On to other things!
Thanks to I was able to get a heads-up on the new Transformers Animated special, which aired earlier this evening. It's interesting to say the least, and something I could probably get into. It's loosely based off the Movie, and by loosely I mean LOOSELY. The Autobots include a significantly younger Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Prowl, Bulkhead and Bumblebee.
Decepticons include Megatron, Starscream, a female Decepticon, and this one other dude who has like...3 personalities.
Like in the movie, the Decepticons are after the All-Spark. UNLIKE the movie, the Autobots find it by accident while repairing a space bridge.
As with any Transformers series, there is a Human protagonist, that protagonist being a little Indian girl named Sari. Bumblebee saves her and the two become fast friends. Through Bumblebee, she meets the other Autobots and befriends them as well.
The style of animation is highly similar to the popular Teen Titans and Ben10 shows, and was likely made by the same team.
In case you missed it, the series will officially begin Saturday, January 5th on Cartoon Network.

There won't be any Ryusei no Rockman this week, due to Oha Colosseum's anual New Year's special. Instead, episode 9, Dossey's Truth, will air January 5th.

Hopefully, I can stop procrastinating and get a picture up this weekend, and one next weekend before going back to school. Dx

OMG, look a PICTURE!
Guys, meet White Decay. Another Wraith, just like Nightshade. The difference? Well, there's a few: the first is that White Decay is a White Wraith. What? He doesn't look white? Funny you should mention that. See, that brings me to difference number two: he's a zombie.
You heard me. Zombie.
Why? Well, truth be told, I'm scared of zombies. I know they aren't real, but they still scare me. Hence, White Decay and his older brother, Black Sepulcher, who you'll meet later.
These two met with a cruel fate at the hands of the mysterious Sorceress after learning that the brothers where spying on her at the behest of the king. They now wander the surface world as undead, feeding on the life forces of living organisms to sustain their own.
Thankfully, Humans aren't on the menu.
As it so happens, hordes of zombies began appearing around the time Black Sepulcher and White Decay awakened on Earth. So, rather than feeding on the Humans (who Black Sepulcher insists taste gross), they instead feed on the zombies. "It's a win-win situation," as White Decay often puts it.
Thus, these two are like a security blanket for me. Something for me to think about when I find myself watching my closet door for zombies.
No brownie points for guessing who these brothers are based off of, since it's really rather obvious. Pathetically obvious, in fact. -_-;
Anyway, I'm hoping to have Black Sepulcher up by next week. If I can stop being lazy, I may be able to get him done by the weekend, but I highly doubt that, since I want to start Ikai no Rockman this weekend.

But, I am NOT. And here's why.

1). Mid-term after effects. I am nothing short of tired and irritable at this point.
2). We're redoing the floors in my house. For two days, our house was like a disaster scene with miscelaneous objects strewn everywhere. Dust made it nearly impossible to breath. Oh, and did I mention that these oh-so-competent workers couldn't actually FINISH the job because they realized, "Oh, whoops. Some of the wood is damaged! We'll just take it back and not work for the next three days and come back Monday!" Which also happens to be Christmas Eve. Nice going.
3). Two days without any computer whatsoever, including Internet.
4). My sister's boyfriend recently underwent a minor but nonetheless incredibly painful surgery on...Saturday...? Whatever. The point is that my sister INSISTED that we see him every day so she can "take care of him." In other words, sit next to him, make fun of him, poke him, kiss him, cuddle with him, etc. At first, it was fine, but it quickly got ridiculously BORING. But that's not what really bothered me. No, what bothered me is that my sister would DEMAND that we go see him, and should my mom DARE to suggest otherwise, she'd yell and scream until my poor mother complied. And of course, these weren't short visits. Oh, no. My sister insisted that we stay longer and longer, so that, tonight, she's going to stay at his house until late this evening.
Oh, and if it's not at HIS house, it's at MY house. Which is why I haven't been getting anything DONE lately, since I have to, you know, be a hostess and all. Because, if I don't, I'll never hear the end of it.
Don't get me wrong, I like the guy. I really do. But this is getting to be ridiculously stupid. But DARE I speak my mind and confront my sister about it? Ha! That's funny. Sorry, I value my sanity. And my life.
And I can't vent my frustration to any of my real-life friends, because all of my real-life friends are better friends with her than they are with me, so naturally they'll feel sympathetic towards her. "Oh, don't worry about it-it's just a phase."
It's frustrating beyond belief.

*sigh* But enough about that. Let's move onto stuff you actually care about.
Now that my sister's boyfriend is incapacitated, I'll be able to actually color this weekend. And all of this week and next week with any luck. Wow...looking at it like that, two weeks doesn't seem like a lot of time.

Hey, look, Tribe 8. [link]
This episode had a general wtf feeling to it. I didn't really get it at all. Not Rockman vs. Burai and Phantom Black as I had first imagined, but rather, Rockman vs. Burai with Phantom Black kinda in the middle. But this episode does prove one thing: that stupid sword is WAY too overpowered. Can you imagine then the Tribe King? Freaking godmodder...
Anyway, be sure to see:
-Burai pull that sick move he pulled back in episode 3.
-Subaru pass out from the Stealth Laser. Figure, he took a full hit from Burai in episode 4, and still managed to stay on his feet. But he passes out from the whimpy looking Stealth Laser. This is what we call a "plot deivice."
-WarRock take minor possession of Subaru's unconscious body. So he CAN do it. Guess he was just too lazy to do the same thing in, oh say, RnR 17? Or Tribe 4?
-The Sword's trial. MAJOR wtf moment.
-Burai speak more than 3 words()!
-Phantom Black's epic fail.

1) Thursday is a school night, and I have a test the next day.
Sure, I can go Friday night, but that brings me to problem two:
2) I live about...15 minutes or so from the Everglades, or at least far enough away from any significant light pollution. Yet, my parents are too lazy to take me there.
Another problem is that, even though I know where to look, (an easterly sort of direction,) there's no guarantee that the Geminids will appear in my little corner of the world (the best view will be in Central Asia, the Pacific Ocean, and Alaska, with decreasing visibility eastward), and, on top of that, there's a good chance of rain on Friday.
Suffice it to say, I have abysmal luck.

Mid-terms are next week, so, again, no new pictures this weekend, as I'll be cramming. Afterwards, however, I'll be drawing and coloring like mad. And perhaps writing. Maybe.

12/15 EDIT
I've now officially been SHUT UP. On Thursday night, I went out, just to try my luck. I went to the front yard first, but there was too much light so I didn't see anything. So I went to my back yard. It was a lot darker out there, so I figured, "why not?" I sat in a lawn chair and stared up.
A few minutes, nothing happened, and I figured, well this was to be expected. A few minutes later, though...
WHOOSH! Out of nowhere, this bright blue fireball streaks over my roof! My first shooting star EVER!!! It was breathtakingly beautiful and exciting!
A while after that, I saw a few more shooting stars-very high and faint, but unmistakeably shooting stars. I tried again last night, and I thought I saw a few, but nothing as amazing as Thursday night-now that was amazing. 8D
So, there you have it. I can now say that my first meteor shower, and my first shooting star, was a Geminid. And that means something.

Ah, yes. And I saw Tribe 7-Hyde and Ghost. This episode was animated by Nomoto, and again, it showed with the occasional weirdly drawn face. However, when Rockman and Phantom Black faced off towards the end, it was nothing short of amazing. Which seems to be a trend now that I think about it-lop-sided non-battle scenes then WHAM! Near-Adachi like fludity (emphasis on near) when it comes to battle.
Summary!
A disturbance at a restaurant-type place has attracted the attention of our heroes. It seems a soda-machine has gone crazy and is spitting out cans of soda like no one's business (frankly, if I were there, I wouldn't be complaining). Rockman appears on the scene and peers into the soda machine. A new Mu-tairi (is that the right word?) Virus is sitting inside. Subaru is overcome by its cuteness (sap). WarRock reminds Subaru that it IS a Virus and they need to kill it, even if it's distractingly cute. Subaru goes, yeah, okay and summons his Buster.
Instead he goes Thunder Berserker.
Subaru goes wtf? while the Virus understandably freaks out and runs away.
Subaru asks something about this to WarRock and WarRock replies back mentioning something about the Thunder Berserker. Subaru ponders this while studying his reflection in the glass. I guess they said something to the effect of controlling this new transformation. They wave out and reappear behind a wall. Subaru asks WarRock if he's okay. WarRock mutters something, then says, yeah, he's okay.
Oh, look! It's a call from Orihime! Seems she wants Subaru to investigate something about the Ooparts-looks like Subaru's heading to Egypt!
Ah, Egypt-the land of the Pharaohs, the land of the pyramids, and the land of sand. Lots and lots of sand (And nowadays, maybe the occassional terrorist). We see a figure riding on a camel with a sketchbook in his hand. Oh, look! It's that guy who was hiding in a coffin and driving a herst!
He muses about the sand and sun and asks his Star Carrier what it thinks. Or rather, the creature within it-a creature he calls by name: Ghost.
Hey look! I think we're in Europe now! Flash over to a man sitting behind an easel now. It's our friend the herst driver, again! He's studying a pretty woman as his subject. A few more touches and...voila! It's done! The lady happily goes over to see what he's done.

An overall good episode with minimal flaws as far as art goes (i.e no one looks out of proportion or has a lop-sided head), but nothing really outstandingly amazing either.

-Subaru with a booger hanging out of his nose.
-Misora get jealous over Rana-chan.
-Something that looks suspiciously like Yeti Blizzard crossed with an FM-Seijin.

Ooh! I did something fun today! I disected a squid in Marine Biology class! I actually did the disection right, and I got to do something I think few people have done.
I wrote with squid ink. Yes. I removed my squid's (named Squidly) ink sac and her (yes, her) gladius, which is like the squid's "backbone." If you dip the tip of the gladius into a carefully opened ink sac, you can write with it as though it were a pen! It's fun! xD

Friday, I have to sing in my school's Christmas concert. However, rest assured. I will have a summary of episode 6 up by Saturday.

Nothing major-I'm just giving you a heads up now that I have like...three projects to cram in for the weekend.
The first, and the one I'm going to be spending the most time on, is a "scrap book" for my family dynamics class, feauturing images and descriptions of my "dream wedding." ...yeah. Whoopee.
The second is a massive power poing presentation for Philospophy class, over the 5 major worldviews. It's not that it's difficult, it's just...time consuming. Very time consuming. ><
Finally, I have a paper to write for my English teacher, on how a work of fiction's point of view affects the work as a whole (i.e. first person vs. second person vs. third person). We have to choose a work of fiction from our literature book for this assignment. I have one in mind, but...again, time consuming...
On top of that, I have my Christmas concert tomorrow night, so that axes a whole night (worse yet, my throat is all itchy, making it hard for me to hold a pitch for any length of time).
I have guests coming over Saturday afternoon and church Saturday night, pretty much leaving Sunday as the only day for me to work all day without interruption.
Meaning that there is next to no way I can get any pictures up this weekend.
That being said...
I'm going to kill whoever said Senior year was slack and easy.

Good question. It's this team (from Wisconsin!) who travels the country visiting Christian schools armed with the zaniest games you games you can imagine and some of the most challenging messages from God's word. It's a rare treat, this War, as it only happens once every 2 years. During the War week, there's NO HOMEWORK, so that students can go and participate in the evening events.
Some of the games include:
-Human Pinball
-Half and Full court Big Ball Basketball
-Tug o' War
-Dodgeball on Steroids
-Spoke Tackle
However, a bad thing did happen during the week, as I lost my retainers. I need to get them replaced now, which is a big deal, since they're $300 EACH. In other words, I now have to cough up $600 since I lost the top and bottom retainer. -_-

That aside, the lack of homework has allowed me some time to work on some new drawings. I'm currently working on two pictures right now-one line art, the other coloring. I don't know when they'll be up, but hopefully sometime soon.

Tribe episode 3 is now on Nico Douga. I'm surprised it lasted through the night, but I just checked, and it's still there. This episode was directed by Nomoto, who did the vast majority of Ryusei's episodes. I thought at first he had improved in his art style, and, he did, a little. My biggest issue is that he can't seem to get WarRock's natural form right, as he consistently looked funny throughout the episode. Everything else was great, though.
Here's the review:
Mr. MiB (Man in Black) is basically pwning our hero Rockman: nothing Rockman does can touch him! This guy shows he has quite the mastery of Denpa Henkan. (One of the coolest parts is when Bly enters the intangible state, sticks his hand through Rockman's chest, grabs his face, and flings him across the field. Sick. xD)
Orihime sees all this and runs to her computer. She runs a scan of all her data and finds an image bearing the same marking as the one on MiB's chest. She tells Empty to fire the photon torpedoes! Oh, wait. Wrong show. She tells Empty to fire the...Jamming something, which I really suspected would be a scrambler wave and not a laser, but, oh, well. The laser renders MiB paralyzed, giving Rockman a chance to strike back. MiB retreats. I should note he never said a word throughout the entire fight. Or, throughout the entire episode for that matter.
Orihime runs out and asks Subaru if he's okay. Subaru says he's fine, and thanks her for saving his butt. He then asks what the laser thingy is. She tells him stuff I can't understand, though I suspect it only affects Denpa. She says something about 'that guy' and Subaru asks who he was. Orihime says his name is Bly, and that he is after the OOPARTs so that he can unlock the seal of Mu.
Orhime takes Subaru back to his house, afterwhich Subaru calls Misora to tell her about his day and what he learned. Unfortunately, Misora is getting ready for a concert, so she had to hang up. Subaru remembers that he originally wanted to go to Amaken, so, next day, he does.
Turns out Orihime is pretty well-know in the science community. Amachi and Utagai go on about how brilliant she is and what a good inventor she is. (We see a picture of her posing with what looks suspiciously like the Denpa Converter Cygnus used to power up the Denpa Henkan devce back in Ryusei 26-27.)
Anyway, Amachi says he's going to scan WarRock and see if he can get any info on the Sword of Berserk. Subaru connets his Star Carrier to this special device, and WarRock magically appears on a table behind a glass window. At that moment, the Three Stooges show up. Utagai says they're going to help him test the materialize function of the Star Carrier and Subaru is welcome to join.
Insert the Oh-So-Fun game of Whack-a-Face. The object is to hit as many of the floating yellow happy faces as you can with your materialized hammer. Angry red faces are worth double. Unfortunately, just as the bonus red face appeared, something goes wrong and Utagai has to turn it off. Oh, well.
Meanwhile, we see Bly standing on the balcony of a sky scraper, looking down at the city. His body flashes as he assumes a form resembling that of an ordinary Human. Or...somewhat ordinary. He would stick out like a sore thumb in a regular crowd with those earrings. And the outfit. Wow he has some seriously poofy pants.
Ahem. Back at Amaken, the scan is done and Amachi looks over the results. THEY'RE STAGGERING!!!

EDIT: THEY'RE HEEEEEEEERE!!! That's right! The infamous pictures have arrived! Please sit back, and enjoy the hilarity, zanity, and insanity that was cccd-erckie's Halloween-Birthday Blowout Bash. Or...something like that.

I'd like to say that, overall, I was very pleased with my own costume, which I was afraid wouldn't turn out well. Everyone I asked, including my sister (who is the brutally honest type), said that I looked very much like (though obviously not identical to) my chosen character, and I myself thought that I did a pretty good job at pulling it off.
That being said, the prize for best costume was a tie between Stewie's costume and Isil-san's boyfriend, Doug's costume. Stewie's because his was so over-the-top, and Doug's because it was just so silly. 2nd place would probably go to Expo for the realism factor.
We had a small "after party" at my house, so to speak, with a miniature Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament, which ended at around Eleven-something, so naturally I'm still a bit tired.

I got to see RnR Tribe 2 on Friday, and, while dialogue heavy (and thus mostly incomprehensible), I enjoyed it quite a bit. There was a rather funny scene there with Harp and Cancer trying to look down WarRock's throat to see if they could get the Sword of Berserk out, which failed miserably. The rest of the episode was devoted to explaining the history of Mu, the OOPARTS, and the UMA's.
From what I gathered, Mu was sealed a long time ago by Cepheus, and the keys to unlocking the seal are the OOPARTS, which the UMA's are trying to gather. The episode ends with the appearance of a mysterious black warrior with a glowing purple hand, who, according to Dr. Orihime, is after the Sword of Berserk. Not good.
The next episode will be directed by Nomoto, who, as we all know, directed the vast majority of the RnR episodes. However, from what we saw of the preview, the animation looks pretty slick. Looking forward to it!

11/15 EDIT
According to the latest issue of CoroCoro, it has been confirmed (as in, like 100% confirmed) that Gemini Spark is returning in RnR2. (This time around, Spark White carries the HP meter.) This is what we (or at least I) call "a good thing," since this means that the chances for them returning in the anime are pretty good.
But, as usual, I'll remain carefully pessimistic about it.
Speaking of FMs, the winner of Capcom's boss contest has been determined: his name is Goat Kung-Fu, based off the constellation Capricornus (or Capricorn). Have a look, courtesy of On-Air. [link]
He's pretty fun-looking. And I'm highly curious as to his role in the game. Another FM (in addition to Ox, Ophiuchus, and Gemini) has been confirmed to be sent from FM to help Subaru in his battle against Bly and the Muu-jun and I wonder if that FM isn't Goat. Earlier reports mentioned a dog-samurai character in Kizamaro's favorites...but...it could be Goat.
Ah, well. RnR 2 is shaping up to be a great game! I can hardly wait until more info comes out!

Which means I am...
ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND FORTY EIGHT YEARS YOUNG!!!

I received a nice assortment of gifts today, including a couple balloons from my mom, a wonderful cake from Stewie, no fewer than 3 happy birthday seranades from my classmates, and...later tonight I'm having a small party with some friends. And on Saturday, I'm having the infamous costume party!
I also received a present from -sama, which he placed in my last journal, so I'm replying here!

Nope, that's the only video out so far. :c My trick was to watch it first normally, play it again without sound, then listen to it while doing something else. The HQ should be out tomorrow or sometime soon after.
Watch: all of those ladies are expertly trained ninjas. Though, why Gori needs them is beyond me. Who needs bodyguards when you can turn into a giant Yeti?
Well, Axl works with Phatom Black and Orihime, who seem to be working seperately from and even against the UMA's! *gasp!* So, if they ever do meet, Axl'll be more than tempted to shoot at Yeti's chin for the heck of it. xD
Hyde reminds me of Michael Jackson. And he drives a herst. A herst. A vehichle for transporting DEAD PEOPLE. Guy's a little freaky. But yet, somehow cool. And that's what freaks me out.
Even I, like Luna, still cry after the death of my boys. However, I cling to the hope that they might still return. They're coming back in the game, so, maybe, just maybe, they'll return in the anime. I hope.

Oh! And while not a present for ME per say, I did get to see Ryusei no Rockman Tribe yesterday, which was tons of LOL goodness, and an excellent birthday present. Here's a brief (okay, not so brief) review:

Subaru's at Amaken talking to Amachi-san about some crazy new Denpa Viruses they've never seen before. Subaru wonders why that is, as Cepheus declared peace with Earth, and since Denpa Viruses are an FM war tactic, they shouldn't be there. WarRock suggests that they might be Denpa Viruses that originated on EARTH.

On that note, Amachi mentions that Subaru's friends are at Amaken, hanging out with Utagai and checking out their new Star Carriers. Gonta and Kizamaro are trying to materialized all sorts of food while Luna actually attempts to materalize her "beloved Rockman-sama."
Which is when Subaru shows up. xD Luna continues to be in denial (and all wet), even with Gonta and Kizamaro's protests.
Utagai tells the four about his special area, which he calls (are you ready?) "the Special Utagai Area Wave Space Enclosure." Yes. That's what he calls it. In this special area, the Star Carrier's materialize function works flawlessly, as demonstrated by WarRock's sudden materialization. He messes around with the Three Stooges who complain rather loudly about his antics and calling him by name. So, it seems they've all gotten introduced. Utagai demonstrates again with a materialized umbrella, but WarRock points out that Subaru and co. have already left.

Local airport-plane arrives which spews now fewer than two dozen identical women and their pi-I mean employer, Gori Monjirou.
Elsewhere-a coffin opens, revealing Michael Jackson. Erm, no, wait, this guy's too classy for that. It's just Hyde. He wakes from his slumber and mumbles "Japan, eh?"

Meanwhile, Subaru and co. are at the local museum, checking out an exhibit called "The Legacy of Mu." WarRock notices something and tells Subaru to put on his Visualizer. HOMG! There's a massive beam of light over the museum! Subaru rushes to the source and finds...
A knife. No, seriously. It's about as big as a large steak knife. The label says it's called the Sword of Berserk.
Suddenly, the lights go out. This is what we call a "bad thing." A swarm of Denpa Viruses enters the building and starts attacking everything. Subaru does his thing while the Three Stooges and everyone else make their escape.

Halloween is what you make of it. If you go around dressed like some demon and go to Satanic churches and drink animal blood, then yeah, you're making it out to be a Satanic holiday.
And yes, I know, that Halloween had its origins in pagan rituals and festivals. But that was then! This is now!
Now, Halloween is, dress up in a costume (goofy or scary) and have a good time (and maybe get some candy), and this is how the MAJORITY of people spend their Halloween. Myself included. I'm just in it to be someone I'm not for one night, goof off, and have a good time with my friends who are dressed up in equally ridiculous costumes. And maybe get some candy (bonus!)

I saw episode 55 today. Basically, the episode can be retitled, "Attack of the Plot Holes," because that's all this episode is: one stankin' plot hole after another.
Plot Hole 1: The AM-Seijin appear in their Star Force forms, and basically open a can of pwnage on Andromeda. Didn't they die in episode 30? Or did they just seal their power into the Star Force? Either way. Total pwnage.

Plot Hole 2: One of two inexcusable Plot Holes: Gemini Spark turns on himself, in such that Spark White kills Spark Black to refill the Andromeda Key after Andromeda got its mechanical butt handed to it by the AM-Seijin. Shouldn't the Henkan have fallen appart due to that? I mean, let's think: Spark Black is Gemini in and of himself. (We know that because we saw his armor fall away after he was killed.) If Gemini is destroyed, then the Henkan should've been as well, right? But, if that had been the case, then Rockman wouldn't have had anyone to fight with.

Plot Hole 3: Cepheus. Was he really necessary? He showed up for about...3 minutes, blabbing about the Brotherband and junk like that. He doesn't even show himself until WarRock asks about Subaru's father. And even then, only for a split second.

Plot Hole 4: The 2nd and most grotesque inexcusable Plot Hole: Tsukasa's Plot Hole Amnesia. I honestly can't say I'm surprised about this, but it really upsets me anyway because I just hate Plot Holes. So, Tsukasa wakes up after being pwned by Cepheus, and can't remember a friggin' thing that happened to him other than he met Subaru and the two of them are like BFF's or something. At first, I thought he was all depressed because he's wondering how Subaru can still like him after all the terrible thing's he's done, but no, because when WarRock opens his big yap, Tsukasa looks confused and Subaru tries to shut WarRock up while telling Tsukasa that it's nothing. Tsukasa KNEW who WarRock was, and even moreso, he KNEW that WarRock's host was Subaru. NOW he doesn't. Why? Plot Hole Amnesia.
This now means that I'll never see my boys ever again, unless they magically appear through a Plot Hole for a cameo appearance. Furthermore, Tsukasa has now been demoted to a role not unlike that of Toru-kun from EXE. The nice, quiet, but otherwise useless friend who appears every now and then to spice up the cast. Only Tsukasa's case is worse because Toru had Iceman, who could do semi-useful things; Tsukasa has nothing other than his adorable looks since he's pretty much a total SPACE CADET. *sigh*

This is really disappointing, since Tribe now seems...empty. I am not looking forward to Bly, (otherwise known as "the emo") or Phantom Black (Who looks suspiciously like Michael Jackson), or even the fact that Tribe is pulling out all it's big guns within the first 4 episodes. (Maybe if they waited like...10 episodes?)
Don't get me wrong: Tribe sounds like it has an amazing storyline with deep plots (hopefully without holes) and unexpected twists, but...now I don't really have a favorite character to cheer for or to look forward to (except WarRock).

And that's the end of this week's rant.

I'm planning to have another sketchbook thingy up by Friday.

On a side note, if anyone is interested, in six days I will be celebrating the "Anniversary of my Birth" as my favorite Bible teacher puts it. In other words, my birthday. However, it's not the fact they died that upsets me, for it seems I had already come to terms with that fact. Rather, it's HOW they died. I didn't think that such a scenario was possible, or even COULD be possible.

Well, enough about that. On to better things.
I recently got ZX Advent, and it's not half-bad. It does have full English voice-overs, though I almost wish it didn't, as the voices tend to be...well...whiney. That's how my friend Expo put it after he played the game for 5 minutes, and I have to agree.
Though, there are good points, namely Model A. Model A itself plays a far more significant role in the game than the biometals from the previous game, and is by far the most vocal of all the biometals. It's kinda fun to hear it whine.

Remember Scooter, my little eel-like fish that got hurt a while back? More than one person has asked for a picture of him, but due to the fact that he's in a bowl, getting a picture has been rather difficult.
