Nothing new, my car passed the emission test after a $700 fix. Shot with Porscha Sunday, and Thur. shooting with her Michelle and their friend who's name I don't know. Shooting another event at Hotel Sax on the 25th.

"Feathered Snake". One of the major deities of the Aztec, Toltecs, and other Middle American peoples. He is the creator sky-god and wise legislator. He organized the original cosmos and participated in the creation and destruction of various world periods. Quetzalcoatl ruled the fifth world cycle and created the humans of that cycle. The story goes that he descended to Mictlan, the underworld, and gathered the bones of the human beings of the previous epochs. Upon his return, he sprinkled his own blood upon these bones and fashioned thus the humans of the new era. He is also a god of the wind (the wind-god Ehecatl is one of his forms), as well as a water-god and fertility-god.
He is regarded as a son of the virgin goddess Coatlicue and as the twin brother of Xolotl. As the bringer of culture he introduced agriculture (maize) and the calendar and is the patron of the arts and the crafts.
In one myth the god allowed himself to be seduced by Tezcatlipoca, but threw himself on a funeral pyre out of remorse. After his death his heart became the morning-star, and is as such identified with the god Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli. In dualistic Toltec religion, the opposing deity, Tezcatlipoca ("Smoking Mirror"), a god of the night, had reputedly driven Quetzalcoatl into exile. According to yet another tradition he left on a raft of snakes over the sea. In any case, Quetzalcoatl, described as light-skinned and bearded, would return in a certain year. Thus, when the Spanish conqueror Hernán Cortés appeared in 1519, the Aztec king, Montezuma II, was easily convinced that Cortés was in fact the returning god.
The Aztec later made him a symbol of death and resurrection and a patron of priests. The higher priests were called Quetzalcoatl too. The god has a great affinity with the priest-king Topiltzin Ce Acatl Quetzalcoatl, who ruled the Toltecs in Tula in the 10th century. The cult of Quetzalcoatl was widespread in Teotihuacan (ca. 50km northeast of Mexico City), Tula (or Tullán, capitol of the Toltecs in middle Mexico), Xochilco, Cholula, Tenochtitlan (the current Mexico City), and Chichen Itza.

Everyone remembers the story of Jesus Christs close friend, one of the 12 Apostles, who sold him out for 30 pieces of silver, identifying him with a kiss. Later, crazed with guilt, Judas hanged himself. He is the ultimate symbol of treachery. Stockyards call the goat that leads other animals to slaughter the Judas goat. In Germany, officials can forbid new parents from choosing the name Judas. Guides at the historic Coptic Hanging Church in Old Cairo point out one black column in the churchs white colonnadesJudas, of course. Christianity would not be the same without its traitor.

There is a sinister backdrop to traditional depictions of Judas. As Christianity distanced itself from its origins as a Jewish sect, Christian thinkers found it increasingly convenient to blame the Jews as a people for the arrest and execution of Christ, and to cast Judas as the archetypal Jew. The four Gospels, for example, treat Roman governor Pontius Pilate gently while condemning Judas and the Jewish high priests.

The secret account gives us a very different Judas. In this version, he is a hero. Unlike the other disciples, he truly understands Christs message. In handing Jesus over to the authorities, he is doing his leaders bidding, knowing full well the fate he will bring on himself. Jesus warns him: You will be cursed.
A Gospel of Judas is clearly more enticing than an empty box, but so far every test con?rms its antiquity. The National Geographic Society, which is helping support the restoration and translation of the manuscript, commissioned a top carbon-dating laboratory at the University of Arizona to analyze the papyrus book, or codex, containing the gospel. Tests on five separate samples from the papyrus and the leather binding date the codex to sometime between A.D. 220 and 340. The ink appears to be an ancient recipea mix of iron gall and soot inks. And Coptic scholars say telltale turns of phrase in the gospel indicate that it was translated from Greek, the language in which most Christian texts were originally written in the first and second centuries. We all feel comfortable putting this copy in the fourth century, one expert says.

6. I have an addiction to extraterrestrial and paranormal stuff, I think I know more than you're average Joe about these things and I also have strange theories about such things.

Como bien sben, el 1° de mayo, se va a hacer realidad la película "un día sin mexicanos": ningún migrante trabajará ese día en EE.UU. y han solicitado a sus connacionales que no compremos nada estadounidense ese día.

El objetivo de que se les reconozca su derecho, al trabajo, a la educación de sus hijos y a servicios médicos en ese país.

Lo que solicitan es que el 1° de mayo no se compre nada gringo en el país ni se consuma nada en franquicias americanas.
No dunkin donuts,
Mc Donalds,
Burger King,
Starbucks,
Sears,
Crispy cream,
Walmart,
Coca y otras... de la interminable lista de empresas estadounidenses en México.

¿Qué repercusiones puede tener esta acción? Bueno, un solo día sin mexicanos, ni trabajando, ni comprando, significa una enorme perdida económica, que pone en contexto real lo que significan nuestros paisanos en el vecino país del norte y lo que los que cruzamos podemos generar si nos organizamos y hacemos un boicot económico directo al consumo minorista.

Espero puedan hacer este pequeño esfuerzo de un día (1 de mayo).
