Exploring and putting all my knowledge together for the first time in Photoshop.

I've been doing alot of random designing lately. I've started on the myspace profiles again that people have asked me to create and flyers for a shop I work in called The Happy Shop.

I'm going to be slimming down my deviations for the simple reason that I've been offered a chance to turn my photos into postcards and sell them in a little shop in Hastings. It's all very very cool and I'm seriously excited about it. Thus the reason to upgrade my camera and get out and about taking photos again. It has been a while. Few oportunities comming up with the Eastbourne Fire Festival in May. Day and nights worth of free live music and poi. Couldn't ask for more.

Sorry it's taken me so long and I haven't had the chance to comment on peoples work. I've been extremely busy. I've moved into my own place and I'm now an apprentice for my brothers tattoo buisness. Tomorow. I buy my first tattoo gun and get myself some pig skins to practice on. And in a couple of months I will be doing a piercing course in London for a week. :D

Went fishing!

I caught my first ever fish today! :D
Today is the day I overcame my ultimate fear fish!
I still couldn't... of course gut them, touch them or cut they're heads off. I did poke one though. Was nearly sick too. :doh:
S1rinus was great and did all that kinda stuff for me. :heart:
We went to Hastings beach around 8am and have only just got back at 4pm. We caught so many fish.
In total.. 71! :clap:

Going from never catching a fish in my life and being absolutely terrifired of them to catching around 30 odd fish in a single day.
Twas fantastic! And I'm totally sunburnt now. :lol:

I took a range of portrait shots today but unfortunately I somehow managed to lose the first disc with all the photos on that I loved. Either on the beach or around the house somewhere, either way... the photos are lost. :(
I did take a few snappy type shots on another disc, they're not as good but atleast I'm taking photos and submitting again.
Hope ya'll like them anyway.

I'm finally submitting some new work, and ohmy.. I do apologise for the long wait. :(

This series of photos was taken in Pevensey Bay, England. I'm pretty chuffed with how they turned out, and of course some are better than others. I may be resubmitting them at some point as I plan to go out and take some more of the same shots simply because todays weather was aweful for it.

Also, I have a plan, AN EVIL PLAN, to head up Pevensey Castle, maybe tomorow.. we'll see. Either way keep an eye out for those submissions.

I've just got back from a trip to Tumbridge Wells to buy myself some new ballet gear. I returned home bearing new pointe shoes! They're lovely.. I'm so happy with them.

Anywho.. this does mean that I have a nice new pair of shiney pointe shoes to show off. I'm hopefully going to be doing a mini photo shoot with So keep yer eyes peeled for developements.

Darcey Bussell one of my all time favourite dancers is in London this year...

... it's just a dream.

It was long ago a dream to become a dancer myself, but.. times change.

I have added photos of my tatty old pointe shoes, as I miss them so much.

Note: If you haven't worn your pointe shoes in a long time it is advisable that you don't go up on them right away, because... it hurts.. omg.. it hurts alot!! ]]> ~ch4rky
