designed this awesome chibi skunk girl for my icon/avatar whatever I've got positive responses.People love my little skunk girl who shouts "die scum"!As she covers them with her bright yellow stinky skunk musk.

People love her.I get all sorts of compliments.Most people think I drew and animated her.But I'm just a writer.I always direct them to Happy Skunk

And encourage them to give her a shout.But it just dawned on me that I never named my icon.I never even considered she had a name.So I'll be taking names if you have one for her.
I would love to see what kind of cool names people come up with.

And also I just thought of a cool idea.If you like, her and you can draw it would be cool to see her doing her thing in different art styles.Or if you have your own skunk characters whether they are female or even male do them instead.It would be awesome to see your skunk in my skunks little simple outfit with the pleated skirt spraying,and yelling die scum.
Like if I had a whole page of them that would be too cool.

This is not a contest or anything.I just think it would be cool to see what people come up with if they get bored and have a little free time.

My stories take place on a world nearly identical to the one we live in.With the exception of the humans.
The birds,and bees,fish,etc are the same.But the humans are slightly more animal-ish.The humans have the tails and ears of the animals that live around us in our world.And the abilities.Mostly.
A dog looks like a regular human albeit with a dog's ears,tail,and ability to smell.
My stories are all about the skunks on my world.
Sometimes.Well mostly.They do what people are afraid they are going to do when they encounter skunks in this world.They spray defensive musk from anal scent glands.

If you were a skunk like my skunks would you do it ?

Would you expose yourself to spray your musk at someone/something ?

1.Who ? Who would you do it to ?

2.Why ? Why would you be pushed you to spray ?

3.Warning ? Would you give someone a warning before
you did it ?

4.How ? How would you spray them in a handstand like a spotted skunk does (kind of tricky).Would you drop to all fours which might be easiest.Would you make yourself prepared in case you might have to ? Like Tina in my stories who wears skirts with no underwear.

5.Type ? What type of musk would you deliver ? The thick twin streams squirting to aim for a specific target.Or the mist that covers everything in the direction your aiming ?

Yes it's a fixation drawn from years of weird as hell dreams over the years.
And a combination of living in a neighborhood filled with skunks.So much so that I see them or smell them at least 3 or 4 times a week.And the curiousity of how it would be to have that awesomely crude defense.

It's really cool.The section called there is something about marysville ends with an explanation and demonstration of skunks using it's awesome defenses,if you've ever been curious what that looks like or how it works.

Ladies and gentlemen of the non-skunk population, by popular demand, I am here to share with you the story of some of my experiences with my ability to eject musk from the scent glands located in my anus. Sorry to be so graphic but it's a subject that always seems to come up whenever I become close with another non skunk. What's it like to spray? Have YOU ever sprayed anyone? Why? What happened? Etc. etc. and blah blah blah. I felt the need to write this story for the
benefit of you non-skunks, so you can quit asking me about it.

Have I ever sprayed anyone? The answer is yes. But before I get to that I want to fill you in on a little bit of my experiences growing up as a young mephit.

Chapter 1
Me and My Musk
(a young girl’s story)

When you grow up as a young skunk the ability to spray is something
you are aware of from... well from as long as I can remember. I think like most skunks when I was a kid I thought everyone could spray. I lived in a pretty heavily skunk populated area. So I didn't realize it was something unique to our species. I remember as a tiny kid before kindergarten even started being taught as all little skunks are taught NEVER EVER EVER spray anyone. It is highly illegal. You could go to jail if you’re an adult, or your Mom and Dad could get in a lot of trouble (lawsuits which kids don't really understand but know is
really bad) if you let your musk go the wrong place. So I never
sprayed anyone as a kid. But like most young skunks at one point or another you had to test it out. This I did with the kids two doors down. Kayla and Casey the twins. We were the same age. It was sometime around kindergarten or first grade I think.

We used to spray in this back field behind our houses. In the middle of all the tall grass were two big trees and a broke down old car. One day while playing a typical game of "doctor" Casey who was a mischief loving little guy dropped his pants all the way down and let the old car have it. Kayla and I covered our mouths shocked and giggling. Then Kayla decided to do it too. She dropped her bright pink cords, raised her tail and let go on the side of the old clunker. “Take that bad guy!” She yelled amid all our uncontrolled giggles.

Then I did it. My first spray. I remember I had to take my overalls off and they had to help me put them back on after I did it (they were kind of tricky to snap back on), but I did it. I dropped the overalls, bent down to touch the ground, raised my tail as far up as it could
go and unleashed my contemptuous stink on the poor tree next to the
old car. “Now you’re the stinky tree!” I announced.

When I got home my Mom was really mad. She knew everything. The
Whole neighborhood smelled. She was like "Why do you smell like musk, have you been spraying?” So of course I denied it. But then she made me surrender my underwear, the tell tale sign being the musk that clung fresh inside. Then she was on the phone with the twins’ Mom. I remember her saying "Of course all little skunks try it, but it won't become a habit.” Then Mom and Dad had to talk to me and my brothers.
Who by the way were way too young to understand what they were talking about. How you only spray someone if they are trying to do bad things to your body. Then they made my brothers leave the room, and we talked about "private places". The kind of stuff that hopefully all young skunks are taught to stay safe in this crazy world.

The other experience I had with spraying as a kid came from this
mean, and nasty spotted skunk girl at my elementary school named Tina , a.k.a Tina Stinkbottom. Of course no one called her Tina Stinkbottom in front of her. Or else. Tina was so mean she would spray other kids just to watch them scream and cry. Which of course they always did. One year she sprayed one kid so bad in the eyes he was in the hospital for a week. Her parents even got sued. But they had better lawyers so she stayed in our school.

Then one day, she was running around the playground with her pants completely off threatening everybody. I remember unbuckling my pants a little thinking if she gets near me I'm gonna get her back worse. Then one of the teachers Mr. Lyon (who was a skunk) came out to diffuse the situation. He ordered her to put her pants back on and get to the principal’s office. She responded by doing an old fashioned handstand and spraying him from head to toe.

Man was he pissed. You could tell he wanted to drown her in his musk. After that she got sent to a special school for bad kids where they make skunks wear special underwear with locks and have guards watch you when you go to the bathroom. I wonder whatever happened to that mean little thing. She's probably in jail somewhere. Skunks have two "nozzles" or nipples that flip out when they spray.They can spray two streams
at a close enemy or when they don't have time to aim they will spray a wide mist.They can also
manipulate the nipples in different directions.So they can spray up and down,or side to side if they need to.
Spotted skunks do a handstand when they spray.
So these are just some things to think about when considering how an anthro skunk would look spraying.

I've seen a handfull of pics like this over the last year but few have been any good .
The skunk girl is a common theme of furry art that is seen over and over . But rarely do you see them performing the act skunks are most known for . The ultimate collection would be if all the artists in my faves collection did an interpretation of that character ( all the skunk ones anyway ) in a spray pic .
