You know, a lot of people seem to wonder how both Pluto and Goofy could be dogs (or "dawgs" as the case may be), but one is a pet and the other a person.  To me, the answer seems plain to anyone with a basic understanding of biology.  Put this way: humans are primates, and so are monkeys, and humans keep monkeys as pets.  Seems to me like a plain case of evolution: Goofy and Pluto are different species in the same family (or order), and one of them evolved to walk and talk and the other didn't.

This gives you an idea about the tone of the show I'm working on at Floyd.  It's rated TV-MA, so it's not a kid's show.  I'm pretty amused that most of my gallery is full of cutesy-cute stuff, and this show probably won't appeal to a lot of my watchers (especially those who watch me for my Neo stuff XD).

Anyway, Unsupervised starts January 19!  But, since I didn't work on the pilot, shows I worked on start Jan 26! XD

Oh maan.  I just watched Nintendo's press conference, and I have to admit the Wii U looks pretty exciting. :3  Yeah they always do some sort of crazy gimmick, but I can definitely see some fun potential with this gimmick.  If nothing else, it opens up the possibility for a near endless array of commands you can use at the touch of a screen.  Playing Okami would be so intuitive.  Or choosing a strategy against a 2nd player, without them seeing what you're planning.  It could definitely be interesting.

Hi all!

Back from a week-long stay in Williamsburg with all my buddies. 8D  It was funtastic!  Lots of movies, shopping, junk food, crafts, games, and general merriment.  Tangled, gingerbread houses, Apples to Apples, and Heavy Rain.  We even decorated Christmas elf hats, wore them to Busch Gardens, and got many a compliment. 8D

Yes, so I went to Comic Con, and it was beyond awesome.  My new favorite convention evar.  Got to meet the Neopets team and get some awesome feedback from them (to be soon implemented in some new art!), and went to some informative panels. And no, I didn't see Angelina Jolie or the other celebrities, because I didn't feel like waiting in a SEVEN HOUR LINE, thanks very much.  But it was still a cool con.

Okay, first thing.  Machinarium is an awesome game.  Found it while browsing the Webby nominees.  That game is so beautifully drawn and wonderfully animated, it's got a fantastic style.  Just play the demo to appreciate how cool the art is!  It's a point-and-click sort of puzzler.  The full game is $20, and wasn't too long (I think I took 9 hours maybe? Getting better at art is a lot like levelling up in an RPG game.

First, you will never level up if you never play the game.  You need to draw to get better, you can't get magically better by reading about art or looking at art or anything related to art if it's not actually DOING art.

Fantastic Neopian news! :D  I've finally made 100 Neopian Times comics!  *happy dance*  100 comics, I think that's more than anyone else in Neopian Times history, woohoo!  Not only that, but I hit my milestone in issue 400!  My first comic was in issue 100, my 100th comic was in issue 400, the round numbers make the OCD side of me super-squee.

New update, finally!  (Sorry bout all that!)

It's been a couple of very busy weeks, but hopefully I can finally get back to normal.  Attended Anime Mid-Atlantic this past weekend, and cosplayed as Red Engineer from Team Fortress 2 (see my gallery for a few pics).  It was pretty good fun all weekend, though it's nowhere near the crazy fun of Otakon.  But this one was a 20 minute drive from my house, so it saved tons of money that would've been spent on a hotel for Otakon.  Maybe Ota for next year.

Hay thar, everyones.  Just a bit of an update.  I'm still working on artworks and stuff.  Though my sister just came back from SCAD for the summer, plus my uncle's here in town for the week, so I'll actually be rather busy with family stuff, and won't be able to work on commissions this week as often as I'd like.  I'll still try to plug away at 'em, so thanks so much for being patient!

5-01-09 (again)

Heee, back from a crazy birthday! X3  Went and saw Wolverine, which was pretty sweet.  Some of it was definitely WTF, but it was fun overall.  But but BUT Gambit didn't have a Cajun accent!!  DDDDDDDDD8  WHAAAAA??  Come on.  That was the saddest part of the whole movie.

Went and ate out, and had ice cream.  Also got presents, yay!

Did a bit of editing to my gallery, as some people weren't happy with some of my work, in regards to some of my commissions involving fan art.  I'm only happy to oblige people if they have a problem. *nods*  So I'll no longer be taking commissions of fanarts from webcomics.  My apologies if I made anyone upset/angry at my work or my commission work.
