Ha ha, hello! When I say done, I mean in the process of 'doing'. See, on Wednesday I received my brand spanking new Mac (which I love very much). Since then I have managed to break the XP installed on it (long story, seriously don't ask!) by installing photoshop. But now I have my new Mac, and my new Photoshop CS3 for Mac (It's kind of funny isn't it? I mean, being able to play with applications behind it and all...)

So I've so far uploaded... three photos from the trip, and am in the process of editing and uploading more - I seem to have forgotten lots!! Although the holidays are here (finally) this is probably the most fun I'll have, since I have loads of schoolwork and study to do, which (in a word) sucks. But hey, that's life.

I also have to go out with ~mysticaldanger92 and shoot my architecture and video projects for school, so I may upload shots from there. i went out last night to scope out my building, and there was a great many good shots to be taken, but the lens I was using was too big! :{

Anyway, I'll get back to editing and obessing over my new Mac. Which I love. :heart:

I've finally made a new journal entry, 'cause I kinda feel like I need one. But, yeah, as ~cherry-abduction mentioned in her jounal school is NUTS. Which leaves little time for photography at all, which makes me sad. Henceforth ~canonchick and I have now dubbed this period "The Great Photography Drought of 2009"

Now, wanna know the good news?

Not only are holidyas coming up in two weeks (which means loads of time for photography, plus orgsanised photography trips);

1. I have my very first digital assignment for my photography course this year - architecture! Which means that I will be carefully documenting Western Australia's buildings. And by Western Australia, I mean Perth. And by Perth I mean the Convention Center. But hey, it's a start!

2. I'm getting a new computer! And not just any computer - a mac with 4GB of RAM! And you know what this means? I finally get to go through the photos I took on my DSLR of Tanzania. The ones in my gallery at the moment are only from my little compact camera, so I've decided to dedicate a whole day in the holidays to sorting out the photos from the trip of a lifetime.

So, honestly and sincerly, very very sorry for the photography drought. But, if I had it my way, life would be one big photoshoot and I'd never have to face the six tests I have in the next twelve days. Ever.

But I do, and that's life I guess. So, here's looking forward to two weeks time, my new computer and my bold architecture adventure with ~mysticaldanger92.

Hope you're all going well, and I promise I'll update ASAP!!

So since I haven't uploaded anything since... October, my new deviation marks the start of what may just be an upload spree. My recent trip to Tanzania gave me around 2000 photos to sift through, which I plan to do tomorrow. That trip was amazing, and I was lucky I had my very best friend ~mysticaldanger92 with me to share the fun! :D

I haven't given up! Not in the least; I've just been very busy. School photography has taken me to the Zoo, although it's film photography I printed my first image two days ago, and I'm very proud.

I bought a new camera too - just a compact - but it's nifty. First thing I did was drop it in the pond. Don't get alarmed though - it's waterproof!

Now this made me laugh.

A couple of weeks ago I put out a poll to you guys, asking what you'd like for christmas. This is what I got in reply:

But no one wanted world peace!

I've been lurking around, as I do, for the past month. But last night I got my act together and uplaoded all the stuff I wanted to, plus I rooted around on my laptop and found a few more to upload.

Then there's all the assignments and tests I have coming up, plus the exams in 2 weeks. Doubled up with extra work hours this month and next, I'm having a hell of a time. Not to menton time taken out to STUDY.

And going on what Tiff said; I need a challenge too. I'm looking for something new to photograph. Plus, I'm up for any shoots if you wanna do any. I just uploaded the ones from Annie's shoot. :)

And today, to my suprise, I got in the car after work, and who was staring at me from the TV guide? None other than the gorgeous Mr. Jensen Ackels himself!

Sadly that was the highlight of my week.

Well, I'm back from NZ, and I only half dislocated my knee! Which is good, 'cause another girl did it once and one of my best buddies Sammy (whom you can see photos of in my gallery) did it twice, maybe even three times!!

I've uploaded the coolest photos from my trip - unfortunatley I didn't have much time for photography; I was too busy swooning over our hot ski instructor Leo!

But I have to say, if you ever get the chance you HAVE to go over to New Zealand. It's breathtakingly amazing.

I've had absoultly NO TIME at all for photography recently. It's killed me, really. I suddely realised on thursday night that I hadn't done a photo shoot since the holidays, and I almost had a heart attack.

On top of that I'm going away to New Zealand in 6 weeks! I can't wait, and I promise I'll take tons of photos in between the skiing lessons... Probably mostly of Sammy. 'Cause she's so pretty, and so is snow.

So I've FINALLY finished putting up the shots from Sammy and Hayley's shoots. Seriously, the new files from my camera are really big so it takes much longer.

I'm sorting through the ones from Tass's shoot today as I type this, but I'm currently distracted since Lost is starting up again for the first time in 3 weeks in almost 1 hour, and Tass and I have finally caught up to America in Grey's Anatomy episodes. :D

Let's all pay a moment of silence for my two brother rats Sprog and Napoleon who get the chop tomorrow at approximately 11:00am.

But on the bright side they get to go in the avery with all the other rats since they'll be fixed up now. Here's hoping they appreciate it....
