Dammit DA, Youve done some pretty dumb shit before but this is just plain RETARDED

in case you havent noticed recently, DA has forced the Mature content filter on everyone under 18

i knew i shouldve dramatically lied about my age, i usually come here to unwind and look at others art, but guess what i find when i come home? HALF OF THE ART IN MY GOD DAMN FOLDER HAS BEEN CENSORED!!!!!

DA has done some pretty low thigs in the past: Deletion of flash files for no good reason, removal of perfectly safe and rule abbiding art, and deletion of accounts for pointing out Art theives

but this is the biggest bunch of BULL HONKEY that i have seen yet

the only reason im still running on this site is because all the other sights arent as efficient

The Bad: I thought i was gettin' a week off but people have lied to me and it seriously threw my natural clock WAY out of sync, but things are startin to fall back into place...... slowly

sorry bout the lack of artwork over the past few days, school just started back and things have been a bit hectic trying to set up my natural cycle (when i sleep, wanna eat, work, ect.) and ive also been trying to get used to my color program (coral paiter essentials) mainly trying to grasp the concept of "Layers"

so until ill just leave you here for ahwhile, until i can get somethin good up, with something i took from and

List ten things about your art:

1: ive been drawing since i was about 2 years old, i usually drew these really odd monsters which usually almost always had something resembling a pacman for a head
the oldest picture i can remember was a charizard that had stars instead of flames on it

2: i do often collect "how to draw books" but ive recently realized, i just like to look through them, ive never actually learned anything from these books
i just seem to enjoy looking at other peoples work (which might explain one of the reasons i joined DA)

3: i actually suck at coloring anything off of a computer i fear color pencils
charcoals, oil paint, water color, thay make me freakishly paranoid, cause i always end up ruining my pics

4: im not above drawing a simple stick-man, gotta give them their props every now and then [link]

5: while the final product often looks good, i still love the look of my pics when theyre still in their sketch form, just something irresistable about them

6: if im drawing on paper, i MUST have mechanical pencils drawing with normal pencils sickens me
just feels unnatural

7: while alot of detailed coloring is beautiful, i love cell shading! one of the reasons i loved Wind Waker so much! bright and vibrant is the way to go!

8: i try to keep things original, i RARELY draw fanart for shows
if youve ever dug through my artwork (not most of it is here) you would most likley understand that

9: i have an addiction to scribbling,
big ol', smashed together, SCRIBBLING
dig through scraps and you should see what im talking about, and those are mild cases

10: Cartoonist, that is what i prefer to be called, while i love anime, im not limited to drawing JUST that

before i start, i need to say that i didnt comment or reply to all of the pics/comments/journals that were in my folder, i just looked at most that grabbed my attention, now if theres something important tat any of you needed me to see please tell me

now on to my trip:

i had alot of fun, nothing went horribly wrong
my dad took me to see 3 Movies and i got 2 video games

the movies i saw were:
Harry Potter (the new one)
Transformers
The Fantastic Four

all pretty good movies, but i dont have the energy to right reviews for them (you can ask me about them if you wish)

the games i got were The Darkness and Gears of War

i havent played Gears yet but i can tell you enough about The Darkness:

The Darkness is a pretty good game
its got VERY nice graphics, easy gamplay, plenty of fire power and a very interesting story line
now im not gonna explain much about the story because i always end up telling too much
you play as a mobster named Jackie Estacado (i most likley spelled his last name wrong) and the storybegins on your 21st birthday and your "Uncle Paulie" tries to kill you, and then not soon after some crazy shit starts happening (ill let you see the rest for yourself MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!)

finally got my hands on my tablet BITCHES!!!!! and 2 weeks earilier than expected! suwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

progress has been moving slow around here, i just now put my order out for my tablet so its gonna be awhile before anything AMAZING happens to my art (amazon.com says maybe on jouly 20th)

i was able to find a good deal on a copy of Flash MX so maybe ill be able to start making cartoons soon, my only problem if that im not sure if i can trust the site i found it on

my newer artwork is really just occupying space in my mind (thats right its in my head) and im just having a hard time getting my brain to send the right messages to my body

in other news i had to go to the hospital a few days ago due to a severe pain in my side the doctors couldnt exactly find out what was wrong with me but they did find out that it was nothing serious and im now starting to feel back to normal so that was fun

hmmm well as you can tell ive got nothing to do right now

recently some good/bad things have happened to me and i thought you guys were lucky enough to hear about them

BAD NEWS:

recently my comp has been jerkin wit my mind and it decided to reset EVERYTHING, it erased my MSN and erased my music, and my editing software needs to be reconfigured

but its nothing i cant fix

GOOD NEWS:

my art style has been upgrading at an alarmingly good rate as of recently, and its making me VERY HAPPY!!! and its also encouraging me to draw AT DOUBLE PRODUCTION SPEED!!!!!!

also ive been running across alot of good artists on DA recently (i dont feel like listing them, but they are my recent favs so just dig through there) and seeing such great original artwork is making me JUMP FOR JOY!!!

speaking of original work (a very awesome artist) is starting a new comic series that i suggest you check out

well my previous delay has been solved, i finally have a good ink-pen and i have been working hard on art for my good pals here at DA

but the bad news is, i have a bunch of S#*T drilling into the back of my head at the moment, its gonna be real hard to get anything up

but the other good news is: i have thanksgiving break in about a week, and if everything goes well the art should be flowing in around then

im gonna try to get a few peices of art up, so keep an eye out

now my submition process has been delayed due to a loss of good ink pens, all my good inking pens have been lost and SEVERLEY cuts me off from submiting, if i dont ink the pics they wont show up to good when i take a picture of them thus stopping me from editing the pic good enough to make it look like it should, and it stops me from coloring it in so, NO PICS FO YOU!!!! sorry

that my friends is the title of the anime series im plotting in my noggin, the story is of 4 mages living in a very poor run-down city who can bring their artwork to life. now im not gonna give too much away right now, but im gonna submit pictures of the characters very, VERY, soon

okay im sorry for not updating sooner, ive just been busy latley, and by busy i mean, ive been playing okami nonstop but hey you cant blame me for that, the game totally kicks ass

ive really been wanting to submit art latley, but ive got sooooo much running through my head at the moment, character ideas, comic ideas, style upgrades, character upgrade etc. ill try to submit some pics within the week, but dont get yer hopes up to high

now then you might be reading the title and going "wtf?" now before your heads explode lemme tells ya...

ive discovered that pretty much anyone can sell your designs on t-shirts at cafepress.com so im thinkin i might just do that, i might open up my own store on cafe press and sell some "OBEY THE TECHNOSKULL" shirts, or somthing else like that, it would be a good way to get some more money, and ive always wanted to sell pot........holders.........made of hemp.... yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh anyways tell me if this would be a good idea ill try sbmiting some ideas soon

well im going to get okami this saturday, if its in that is, if not im getting guitar hero (this weekend is going to kick ass) also im looking for some new anime to watch, ive got a few series in my sights.....

i need a new DA-ID the one im currently using is kind of out dated, now then ive got until monday to finish a contest pic for the and its hard since i gotta color it in paint, pixel by pixel ugh

im currently working on a lot of art this week for some contests im entered in here at DA, so ill be submiting one of the peices soon, and some more next week

now ive been looking at alot of different online comics latley and thought: "i should do somthing like this" so im coming up with ideas for a comic series, my current idea is a comic about a gamer who lives in the online gaming world, now most of the games i will put into this wont actually exist, seeing as how i havent played too many online games, but this is starting to develop into a good comic, ill submit a sketch to see how you like it

as for other artwork, ill be dumping a steaming pile onto you soon, so ill leave you with this movie i found on google until then
