Anyway, today was the Hetalia meet in the DFW area at the Grapevine Mills mall, and it was so cool. At least for the hour and a half that I was there. I had work in the early afternoon, so I had to leave early. But I went as casual Hungary and met an awesome Austria (SHE/HE IS TOTALLY WICKED!!!) and were there, and it was great to see them(y'all) again since September!

My friend Kelly went with me and took pictures with my phone, there are some of the group, but they're mainly of the Austria and I. Austria x Hungary luff! Yay! I'll post those sometime somewhere in (hopefully) the next week (or so).

Oh yeah!! And some of the group made little goodies for everyone. I haven't eaten mine yet, but I'm sure it'll be good!! : D

So, yeah, woke up at about 5:30 so my mom and I could go get breakfast before the test at the high school where it was held AND IT WAS FREAKING HUGE!!!! Dear God! It was SOOOO much bigger than my school. But I sat with some real awesome nice people and made a new friend! Yay! But the test seemed to drag on and on and on and on and on and on...until the teacher person told us we could finally go! The test wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but there were still a lot of questions on there that I had to skip because I didn't know how the hell to figure them out. Oh well. I won't get counted off on those, so that's alright...I guess...

I had lunch at a gas station and it WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!!! There's a cafe about 20 minutes away from where I live called "Chef Point Cafe" and it's amazing! The cafe was featured on Guy Fieri's Food Network show: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and the food was awesome. There are no other words for that place. The mac and cheese: to die for! It is literally the cheesiest thing I've ever eaten but beware! It's hot.

While I was sketching the Undertaker's costume, I was thinking how I haven't cosplayed as a girl in a while (about 3-4 years), and that was Koto from YYH just so y'all know. And I was thinking about some of my favorite female characters and some other anime/manga that I was into. I thought about Gintama, and there aren't a lot of gal characters I'm particularly fond of. There's Otae, Kyuubi and Tama and Kagura. But they were either TOO easy or a little difficult for this time around. And then I thought of Hetalia, well, there aren't a lot of girl characters in there. I tried remembering what girl characters there were in there, and all that I could really remember (reading) was Belarus, Hungary, Liechtenstein, and a few others. I focused on Hungary, and recalled that in chibitalia and a few regular comics, we see her in a dress, so I went searching for that, and this is what I came up with:

Alright....I'll try and finish this before I faint...I'm on my mom's cough medicine (watered wayyyy down) and about an hour ago, I took some equate version of nyquil...

So, I got home from school and went on the computer and watched the new episode of Hetalia, which, I swear is one of the cutest, and slightly disturbing (due to France), series I have ever seen. But I'm 17 now, I don't care...And then some Soul Eater, which is awesome too. Skip forward about an hour or so, we had dinner out at Red Robin and I got my present(s).

The third Ultimate Ninja Naruto game which I have wanted for a while, and I got a signed DVD cover of Shark Attack 3 by John Barrowman...but...apparently John misunderstood the directions and signed it to my mom instead of me. But still! It's mine! And the envelop on it says from CARDIFF, which is awesome! Because he's on Torchwood (a spinoff of Doctor Who) which is set in Cardiff! Teeeee!!!!! I'm gonna save that envelope! k....I think I'm done.....medicine....taking effect.....

It's my birthday!!! whoot! well....yeah....I guess...not that happy about turning 17....
My state had our English TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skill) test and it was sooooooo long.....48 questions of multiple choice (half from 3 exerpts and other half from revising and editing) 3 open ended questions, where you answer the question using quotes from the stories. AND! We had to do an essay....oy....

HOWEVER!

We got to skip ALLLLL of class and school for the test, by about 2:30 there was still 254 students left taking the test. By the time we were able to go to a class though, it was 5th period, and we were only there for about 3 minutes.

I'll let y'all know how the rest of my Birthday went later....

OH MY GOD!!!!! An update?

Nearly to 2,000 views!?!??!

What could this mean?!

Well, I'll tell you what that means, that means that all you lovely people love my art and take your time to come back and see more!

I finished the photoshoot!!! Around 23 photos and I can FINALLY get to the update in the journal!

:SATURDAY:

Animefest was AMAZING.
But my mom and I stayed up until 4 AM on Saturday trying to finish my costume and got back to work on it around 8. Headed out to Dallas at about 11 AM and got settled into our room and changed at about 12:30 or 1 in the afternoon.

Pretty much the first pictures that were taken of me, someone said that there was going to be a Gintama photoshoot at the fountain at a specific time. GREAT!!!

Got to hang out with my friends and see one of my friends whom I haven't seen in FOREVER since she moved to a different city; watch some AMV's of the awards, they were awesome.


:Sunday:

Pretty much the same as Saturday. Got my Yu-Yu-Hakusho cover with Hiei on it signed by Chuck Huber himself! TEE!!! He was there! Awesome-o! Went to get changed in my Gin costume again and hung out with my friends in the Dealer's Room and such.

My mom and I went down to the fountain at the designated time, and waited at some tables. A Hijikata and Okita pair came up and said that the other H and O had something to do at the time and would reschedule the shoot at an hour later. We went back up and watched Monk while I de-costumed and cooled off.

The shoot was AWESOME.

Nothing more to say, and were a fabulous Okita and Hijikata pair along with the other pair.

After the shoot, we all exchanged contact info and Hikari and Itaiyo had to go back to their booth, so the other pair and my mom and I went to the.....


FUNIMATION OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB PREMIERE!!!

Shared a pizza, laughed, and also hung out with my friend . My wonderful yaoi fan. She practically thrives off of it.

And afterwards, the cosplay contest. So much fun. Some of the skits even got a standing ovation and they deserved it. They were wonderful.

:Monday:

Nothing much. Spent the rest of my money on art. Yes, wonderful art.

I'm hooked on Gintama at the present~ Been a fan for a while now, but I'm really starting to get into it now.
I just love this series so much!! It's funny, action packed, and random!
What more could you want!?!
And drama~!~!~! Can't forget the drama! If you're not quite sure, try the manga first then the anime. There's some things in the anime for me which are laugh out loud, but I know for a fact that my friends would probably just say:
"Oh, I didn't need to see that."
Or:
"Oh, I didn't need to hear (read) that."

Well, I've been told by a couple of my friends that I should read D.Gray-man.

So, a couple of weeks ago, I got to reading it. I read the first couple of chapters and got to the end of the mission where Allen and Kanda are on their first mission together.

And around maybe a week from last Thursday or so I continued to read it, now that I had time to actually do stuff because of summer.

And just a few hours ago, I have gotten completely caught up, from chapter 1 through chapter 163, as of last week.

I had said to my friends that it reminds me a lot of Fullmetal Alchemist, especially in the beginning, which was the biggest thing to get me not to look at it and wouldn't read it. I still think that to an extent now though. HOWEVER! I would recommend it for a read, whether you're into just the weird series that's strange with humor thrown in, (which it does), with blood and fighting and all that good stuff. Or whether you just like to look at the art, which was one of the things that had kept me going, was the way the characters were drawn, he backgrounds, the Headquarters, and the way the manga-ka has drawn the fighting angles of EVERY fight, it's really nice on the eyes.

And so, I give you this small review of my very slight change of thought of D.Gray-man. I know that y'all will have complaints about it, but these are my thoughts on the series, if you have a problem with it, tough toenails.

I DO HOWEVER have one SMALL complaint about the series. The plot is a little thin and one of the characters, Lenalee, cries a little to much. After seeing Allen or Lavi or Kanda get hurt, she's in tears. GRANTED, I can understand why, because she wasn't able to do anything except watch on the sidelines during the whole ARK mess, and her TRAGIC past about being forced into the organization and all that but seriously!

grr!......thank you for letting me vent about that.

I love the characters. They really are something else. Both the exorcists and the Noahs. I would definately, without a doubt, have to say that my favorite character is indeed, Lavi. He can be serious one minute and all funny and goofy the next.

So yeah.....this series is not in my top 10, but I'll continue reading and watching it.

what I'm thinkin' is doing a series of letters. like the alphabet. and doing a character for each one.

for example:

I just finished the 'B' and for this, I drew Bushroot from Darkwing Duck. I drew this mainly for my mom, since her favorite villain from the series is Bushroot. And it occurred to me, this struck me as odd. Her name also begins with B.

So, if y'all have ideas for a character to do, I'll probably do that.

First:

you should know that one of my favorite cartoons is Darkwing Duck. I LOVE that show
I was bored one day....er....night actually. I put on one of my favorite episodes: My Valentine Ghoul and started to draw random head shots of Negaduck. It took me about 3 days to draw 5 of them on 1 piece of card stock paper, but they look pretty cool. In the show, (I did this without knowing), you can't tell Darkwing and Negaduck apart exept for their suit colors and voice. But for the head shots, I used RED sketch pencil, which makes sense!! I'm surprised I did that!
I might draw Darkwing in a blue. If I draw him.

Second: Stick-k-kuh. Jef-f-fuh, Ha ha ha

I forgot to mention this in MERRY AVP Requiem DAY!!!! But for Christmas, I got tickets to go see Jeff Dunham. Yes, Jeff Dunham, the ever growing in popularity Ventriloquist/comedian. My dad got me tickets so he and I went to go see him while my mom was in the hospital (that will be discussed in the 3rd entry thingy...update...thing).
So when we got there, we had about an hour to show time, so we waited in line for souvenirs, and we got the Spark of Insanity DVD, and a Walter for President T-shirt for me. When we found our seats, the opening acts were pretty funny. There was this Black Comedian, yes, black to all you weird people, nicknamed Jersey, because he's from Jersey. He was pretty funny. But we couldn't really hear him because of the ecohs (I have no idea how to spell that word, I tried like 5 times just now), anyway, after him, we had That Guitar Guy, Brian Hayner. The FATHER of the brothers in Avenged Sevenfold.
There's to much to tell for the jokes that Jeff told, but he did say that they're taping a Christmas special in JUNE for Comedy Central sometime and so he had Peanut and ACHmed do some Christmas stuff. He and Peanut read The Night Before Christmas and ACHmed sang Jingle Bombs.

And I'll be posting some pics that we took there with my dad's phone right after I submit this!! ^^

Third:

Back in October, my mom got diagnosed with Breast Cancer. So she got it removed a few weeks earlier. A few weeks back, about 2, she has had her partial masectomy (sp?) anyway, there are some pretty funny stories with her going to surgery. Past that! She's doing great, she came home the Sunday following her surgery, she has her medications and all that stuff.

On another note! I saw Enchanted last night! OMG! It was great! Much better than I was expecting. For you people who have seen it, at the ball seen, where Robert is dancing with Nancy then Gessele, his outfit is the same one that Beast wears in Beauty and the Beast. I told that to my mom and she agreed outright that that was it.

And this morning I got to see AVP Requiem, that was great.
A lot more blood because of the face huggers and bellies exploding because of the alien births. The plot needed to be thickened, but it was alright. As my dad said before the movie started, it probably takes place after the end of the first one, where we see the Predator 'give birth' to the alien.


Christmas loot:

I got a bunch of Copic Markers and I'll have a new picture of Renji colored with those up soon. I got the COMPLETE series of Invader Zim!~!~! I watched a whole lot today while I was trying to finish my pressies for some of my friends. I got Hunter x Hunter 16 and 17, yay! one of the few series that I got my MOM into. ^-^

ok, so I have done a LOT of scanning this past week and am ready to get some stuff up on here!!!! So! Tomorrow, after school, hopefully if my dad isn't working on here, then I'll put some more stuff up.

I know y'all have been dying to find out what has happened to Saix since we last saw him, and I'll post some more pages up. I have up to (I believe) page 7 done.

I have Electronic Media in school, which is basically learning photoshop, illustrator, and painter (<-- I hate this one) and wait for it! iMovie!!! So, we've been making our own music video!!! Hooray!! I chose to do the movie Serenity (the sequel to Firefly, which is one of THE BEST sci-fi shows EVER) done to Numb by Linkin Park. The character's River, in case any of y'all know what in the world I'm talking about. And when I get that done, I'm gonna post it on youtube and paste the video for you all to see! HEY! I didn't use y'all!! nope, never mind, just did. hahaha. so! wait a few more days, and I'll have it up for you (pl.) to see!!!

I ran into Matt and Rachel and didn't know that they already knew each other. So, I hung around them for a while, and went off for a bit. When we got back together, they had met somebody named Charlie. He really is nice. So, we all went back to the room where they were staying (except Charlie) and we all began to talk. This was the same day that a Bleach Party was going to be held. This would be held for Bleach fans, who love the card game/anime. Not only that, but it was also the day the cosplay contest would be held. So, a little later, Charlie and I went downstairs to go to the cosplay. We couldn't get in!! They were at maximum copacity, so we went up to the room he was going to be staying in with some of his friends and we watched it. It was funny! After, we went back to the Bleach Party, and Matt wasn't there. We figured he was up in the room, so we went back to the room....IT TOOK US OVER AN HOUR. The elevators are so stupid in the hotel. Some go up to floor 14, then you have to transfer to get to the room that we had to go to....We walked up 12 flights of stairs. They were staying on the 27th floor! So, we got there, and they weren't in the room. We went to the place where Rachel was working, and we found Matt and his friends by the escalator. So, we went to go say bye to Rachel and we left.....he was my ride home, and it was so annoying trying to find him. When we finally left, we had to go to the other building to wait for his parents to pick the four of us up: Matt, Stephen, Stephen's friend, and me. I was so happy to just get home, but, I wasn't tired. SO! I didn't get to bed until about 2 or so.....

OH!!! and I was cosplaying as Kiba from Naruto Saturday and Sunday, so I got a good workout while cosplaying to find my ride home

so, friday was pretty much get your stuff day, like your pass and such. The first thing I did when I got my badge, was get another Neji plushie. I already had the first series one, but I wanted...no, needed to get Neji from Shippuden

That was pretty much friday for me, I ran into my friends, Matt and Rachel around there also.
